It is not going to be replaced very soon, look at that machine it is just jumping and swirling but how much invested for this machine? Possibly in millions or billions. Still they are at infant and may need decades to see the scenes we saw on the movie i Robot.
4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How is this possible ? A Recent transaction suddenly becomes invalid on: October 03, 2020, 03:08:43 PM
this double spend..whats the benefit ? only good for cheating or ?
Double spending mean cheating but the use of RBF is not really to cheat anyone its to avoid the transaction waiting time, if you made a transaction with lower fee earlier but now you really wants to make it in a hurry then you can simply use the high fee is your wallet supports RBF.When you are in the receiving end never confirm anything until it has one confrimation.
4183  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bank account freeze by cyber crime after trade in localbitcoins on: October 03, 2020, 01:09:47 AM
One thing I wanted to ask you OP. Did you sell by posting a trade advertisement or just accepted seller/s offer and sold bitcoins through that? Also, did you check the traders on LBC, are they still actively trading or one of them hasn't been online in some time?

I have done trades with listed ads. Means i sell btc from my mining income with listed ads. Mostly small amounts as i withdraw from cloud mining contracts. I preferred ads with trade history of minimum 1000 trades with 100% good reviews. Also trade volume is not huge . Majority of them are active now. By the way i have stopped trading in lbc and moved to exchange. Zebpay and unocoin are available right now. I thought they are not providing services like changing btc into fiat.  By the way they are working fine now and plan to leave peer to peer platforms and they are not feeling safe. Also amount is my bank is not a big amount. So i plan to call bank manager frequently and wait for an update from my bank instead of spending a lot to lawyers .
Its just dumb to spend up even more money by calling out some lawyers if the amount been talking on here isnt really that big.Any updates on this op?

This is my first time hearing up for bank freeze just because its being mandated with cybercrime division but actually it isnt really surprising for government to do such actions when they do saw some fraudulent activity. Its hard to oppose when you cant verify those people you've been trading off in LBC.

You wont have any choice but to wait up for the final investigation and keep posted or updated with the bank.
This is just normal if you are trading on paxful and LBC, not really a big surprise but I am surprised with the way of investigation here.Banks won't tell anything, and there will be no other questions just the freeze of his/her account looks strange to me.
4184  Other / Meta / Re: Most referenced threads and posts on: October 02, 2020, 08:26:42 PM
I have updated the list in the OP. It now excludes references within the same thread, as well as references between the posts of the same user.
Nice work though, no need to bookmark each thread anymore to give reference in the future.Just bookmarking this thread will be enough. Cool Smark worker!
4185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: October 02, 2020, 07:19:49 PM
I will go with the 5th option, 14K to 16K range.Normally end of the year there will be some bullish call on the crypto market especially the halving year so I just expect the price to increase a bit further of this year's current all time high towards the end of this year.
4186  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason bitcoin price is not stable. on: October 02, 2020, 05:21:35 PM
Can someone explain categorically while the price of cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin is not constant, because I begin to wonder the reasons behind the secret of bitcoin falling and raising.

How can someone study bitcoin to the extent to know when bitcoin is about to fall and when is about to raise so that the level of lost can reduce.

Looking at the current price of BTC is it advisable to purchase bitcoin when the price is higher or when is lower as investor.

When mood changes the price will change as well, sounds funny but its the real reason why price of bitcoin is moving up and down. But the availability quantity made the bitcoin to be more volatile so if there is a big chunk of bitcoin moved or sold on any exchange then surely it will affect the prices in no time.
4187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to share wisdom on: October 02, 2020, 03:33:48 PM
Like as yours, I've taken a break for around one years here since the last(2018) cypto crash. Meanwhile, I’ve been learning lot how to trade. Prime part here is trade for yourself but not guided by others.

Don't close the doors to other's suggestions. You don't need to primarily trade thru your self-knowledge most of the time.

Welcome other's input as I think you have the ability know if it's worth following or not. Take their pointers as advice then apply it to your self-knowledge.

OP can consider creating a public room for a purpose of this as I think he's not used to share wisdom via regular posting.
Veterans may not really having enough time to post on bitcointalk, we can see that in most of the sections of our forum has less activities. Bit this thread will be helpful for the upcoming traders even if they have their own way there is nothing wrong in learning the new strategies, methods, condition from different members.
4188  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 02, 2020, 06:20:45 AM
Main thing missed on that list:

working for someone will never make yourself rich, work for yourself which will make you better person depends on how hard you are working. Smiley

Don't spend, just invest.
You wont really get rich if you do have that 8 to 5 dayjob unless if you do consider on having other options like investment.Working hard is commendable but it would be always ideal if you do consider on working smart as well.
I do also disagree with some points or rules stated on op about smoking and drinking. Its never been always a bad thing if it would be done in moderation. We should at least enjoy things in life without restricting too much of our freedom on doing things just because you are aiming something. It would be really just a boring life for you if you do have this kind of set-up or mindset.Just be smart and do things that will really be at your advantage.
Getting rich isnt really a thing that can be achieved overnight and this would really need a lot of effort and time for you to work on before reaching out this state.
I don't really agree with those small expenses like smoking and drinking should be restricted either because they can't become rich if they can't afford these simple things. But for health its bad so it depends on individual desires, because we all are making money to live the life in the way we wanted so it is important to enjoy the life while making more or else you can't do anything when you have money in the old age. Cheesy

4190  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 01, 2020, 06:07:41 PM
Most of the cryptocurrencies are used for payment in the darkweb which is almost illegal activities on certain region or the whole world, but compared to the people using it the fist is more used because it is available in more quantity and different countries having different fiat money so criminals might be having comfortable to spend the earned money.
4191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees on: October 01, 2020, 04:58:16 PM
I don't understand , I live in india and here we can use UPI like google pay and phonepay to easily pay money within seconds and a touch and no extra cost or transaction fees is taken . But when i try to ay with bitcoin like 1000 ruppes i have to pay around 120 ruppes in fees to get the transaction done in 10minutes .  So for a order of 1000 i have to pay 1120 ruppes and also wait for 10minutes for the transaction to be done .

So why is bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency more reliable or disruptive if it cant even help me in paying a simple small amount . Can somebody lease elaborate what i am missing here . Thanks in advance
The transaction fee varies too often and it depends on the network clog, currently more traffic which means increased in the transaction fee but few months back we had transaction fee  only in few cents.

But you are using bank for transactions so it looks better for smaller transaction but you are going to face difficulties while spending in millions or in billions to someone. Its your money but still banks ask the reasons for the transaction, source of payment, blah blah....
4192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing/trading Opportunities for stable returns? on: October 01, 2020, 02:59:48 PM
When we hear fixed returns from investing or trading in crypto related platforms then its more likely a scam when the return percentage mentioned is not practical to acheive.Never ever deposit and hold bitcoins or any cryptos on third party website to make some money.
4193  Economy / Economics / Re: Mathematics and economy on: October 01, 2020, 01:30:45 AM
A country with many students winning high prizes in OLYMPIC math will get more attention and those countries will be considered for investment.
Southeast Asian countries are being invested in inflows of FDI inflows that have increased dramatically in recent years due to the number of students winning the OLYMPIC award in math.
Samsung is moving its factories from China to Vietnam. iPhone manufacturing factories are considering moving to neighboring countries Malaysia and Vietnam.

A country with good source of young generation talented people can bring the economy up but this only not enough because they need to have a leader who appreciate and help the country to be in better position because they have all the resources to become one.

Companies are moving to the countries you mentioned just because the cold war between China and USA because these are alternative countries where they can find work force for lower wages.
4194  Other / Meta / Re: Application to be a Merit source for Bangladesh Thread on: September 30, 2020, 07:49:53 PM
if someone does not receive merit, they may become frustrated about not ranking up and not be as active as they may otherwise be.
Absolutely, even in the main board the same thing happens that is why we can see decrease in the activity all over the forum, some people doesn't really receive what they deserve to be.There is no point of holding sMerits so people should be so generous while sending merits when they see a post which is worthy to be read by other members.
4195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of this new scam method. on: September 30, 2020, 06:46:57 PM
Ohh no, I don't want that stranger to call as scammer because he didn't tried to scam you? He just trying to buy the address which you didn't claimed your airdrop.

He simply want to make money from your ignorance but got backfired at the end.

He is a scammer.. If he had told me at the beginning of the conversation.. I would have given him 100 UNI to say thanks. But instead, he tried to trick me to get all the UNI in my wallet..
Also, no ignorance in that because I never remember making a transaction with the wallet.
I only forgot and he wanted to take advantage of that instead of helping... Someone like that could personally find a way to get peoples private key and steal their funds
Ignorance = lack of knowledge, he want to make use of it I guess.Even if he say that to you in the beginning you are not going to give any money to him at least in practical that is why he tried his best to make some money.
4196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction is confirmed but need Electrum to confirm transaction? on: September 30, 2020, 05:09:31 PM
Nope, there is no such kind of feature exist in any bitcoin wallet.Once the transaction reaches certain number of confirmation then it should be reflected on to your account.

OP please let us know which site you are talking about?
4197  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 30, 2020, 04:28:06 PM
But how they get the 2FA autentication and the trading password?
Social engineering attack is the best possible way to bypass 2FA authentication!

Did you entered into your kucoin account recently but failed to get access to it for short term? If yes then you entered into a fake website so the hacker used the code you entered into your real account and get the access of it.
4198  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 30, 2020, 08:10:07 AM
snip....

@gildatoscamimi1 can you exactly mention when your account got hacked and funds were moved?
Yes, my account got hacked the same day of the hot walker of kucoin. I know that are different thinks but three truth is simply this.
I do Not have answers Joe Coulthard happen. The day of the hacked of hot dalle of kucoin i logged in my account, some hours later i logged in again and i realizza what happenef. Show the pasdbthe 2FA autenticazione, who they hot my trading password.
I always have had high level of acvuracy on presente security oh all My password and its the first Time i have a so bad experience. I know i will never revolver my coins, but i dont have fault.

I think this is just a coincidence, and you can't claim that kucoin steal your funds because you only know your passwords and Kucoin has no reason to leak that to someone and let your funds to steal because it is not a shady kind of exchange, this is something similar to binance.

If the hacker entered all the login details correct then you must be phished.
4199  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin Signature is back on: September 29, 2020, 07:21:30 PM
mostly without a negative tag from DT members.
If I'm correct, only suchmoon give most of the yobit promotors (may be all) a neutral feedback. It doesn't even make sense to negative tag the participants. There are more or less unresolved issue with some of the projects here and still they are operating their business without no issue. Then there's no point of tagging the participants at all. And yeah, yobit is a proven heaven for scam shit (recent minex shit is another scam). If they can promote themselves here, why not others?
Yobit and this are not same, here livecoin didn't tried to resolve their issue but they just trying to get more attention so anyone promoting the livecoin just for the money will be considered as untrustworthy member but still they can continue to promote if they doesn't care about the community member's opinion.
