Premine is about 5% then?

Exactly!
And he or she does not want to admit.

You guys first day in ALTs? Total coins is 7 000 000. First in PoW stage and that is ok because it is fast distribution for short time to let BBC goes to people and next PoS will not allow dumps by multipools. You should read more, try to understand, reading and more knowledge will not kill you Smiley. And simple rule: do not like it go away and do not post, read just go away.

Premine should be zero

+1

NO premine

I think is ok. Dev and bounty guys working hard, they should earn some BBC. 0,9% is not too much. Just think guys how much time is needed to create coin, make ANN, replay for all questions etc.

4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Update on the total node coins ★★★★ on: June 28, 2014, 10:26:09 PM
This happened in the wake of the Silk Coin copy and paste blunders after we were told the devs were working so hard on this update.

This link is to Silkcoin github, check cpp file with wallet look: https://github.com/shnurf/silkcoin/blob/master/src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp
it is based on BTC wallet, so all wallet are copy paste with some small modifications. Do you know what open source is? Do you know how is it working? Do not think so. If you want to have coin build from scratch than you will have to wait years because in this situation you cannot use any libs, any algos, nothing at all. It is almost impossible now. Untill people will not understand that stuff like wallet is only tool ALTs are in shit.

SilkCoin cpp file header(wallet gui part):
Quote
/*
* Qt4 bitcoin GUI.
*
* W.J. van der Laan 2011-2012
* The Bitcoin Developers 2011-2012
*/
4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Upcoming wallet features released ★★★★ on: June 15, 2014, 01:43:39 AM
Dam straight copied silkcoin,couldn't even change the font or the borders.Devs are fucking garbage,can't even give credit to silk coin devs.My ass working hard,simple copy and paste.

It is only base for CAIx wallet i think Smiley, and will be developed. LTC, DOGE has BTC copy and is doing good like a lot of other coins. So what is the problem? SC wallet has issue with IRC, do not have mintpal and cryptsy implemented but CAIx will have as more new feauters. Wallet gui is only tool for coin management there is a lot of more important things than GUI.
4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Dividend program started. Happy staking! ★★★★ on: June 03, 2014, 08:30:13 PM
As promised, a little something about the transition from CAI to CAIx here.
I'll post a screenshot of the premine CAI that remained untouched later, but the block explorer for CAI has been taken offline, so I need to ask a dev to put it back online for a while.

It is not offline, i will keep it specialy for trolls:

Please change the dependancy for the new wallet to libboost1.54 or 1.55 instead of 1.53. There is no 1.53 in Ubuntu Trusty.

Thanks

Just edit caix-qt.pro and you can change it by yourself. It is easy. New wallet is in test stage now so i think will be fixed.

My Linux wallet runs, but eventually it stops and just repeats the following error:

ERROR: CBlock::ReadFromDisk() : OpenBlockFile failed

Running on Ubuntu 14.04 server, compiled using makefile.unix.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Please go to #caishen on IRC freenode and ask lefter1s or OiSiS. I will also ask them to PM you here to help.

Could you try this:

The guy had the same problem. Can by related with HDD, RAM or antivirus.

Hi.
Tried CAIx-qt but gives me errors, so I'm compiling the source with Qt creator using the file caix-qt.pro.
I chmod all files and folders to an insane 755 just to make sure I give all permissions but at the very start I get this error:

:-1: error: [/home/kubuntu/build/caix/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a] Error 2

I'm not even using Kubuntu (I'm on Mint) so I guess that error should be something left in the script from the dev.

Can you help please?
mass

Just make:
Code:
cd ./src/leveldb
make clean
cd ../../
qmake-qt4
make

I'm not sure if the wallet will come today..

Why do you think so? And what means today? (timezone) Smiley
4198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★100% PoS ★1.6 Million Shares ★Limited Mining Period ★★★★ on: May 09, 2014, 02:18:01 PM
Announcement is being redone for CAIx release to take place in a few hours.

Pretty sure CAI is hitting at least 70-80k sats a few hours after the new wallet is released and the trading pair is set up.

and CAIX going up to 500k sats  Grin from 28million coins to only 1.6million! 17,5x less coins, price should AT LEAST hit 10x which at current rate will be 500k sats!  Wink
LOL would be nice i personally have been trying to push for 2.1 million coins so it can be 10% of bitcoin seems like a nice number to me

What's the difference?  Why do you think it somehow matters that it will be exactly 10% of BTC?  It's irrelevant.  If you are going to waste energy lobbying for something, at least do it for something that matters.  No offense.

Too late now Smiley. There will be 1,6CAIx at the beginning and all will be swaped to CAI rest will be mined in PoS mode.

My ideas  Cool

Nice but change this violet and add transparency to CAIx Smiley.
