do you think it's worth the hassle to let my pc run 24/7 in order to get my 0.15 - 0.20 btc dividend?
(because yes i sometimes turn off my computer for multiple reasons, but without going into details let's just call it life).

Pro tip: go to digitalocean and buy ubuntu server for 5% month. Then compile a wallet and run it, then forget it. No reason to run your home PC.

Isn't it to late to transfer your coins to a wallet for divident?

No, you have untill 9 PM EDT Wink
At that time, the devs will run a script on the blockchain to see which people qualify as a masternode.
This script will also check that a node still qualifies for the dividend daily. We will perform manual check ups aswell.

Edit: a little countdown

I didn't see people are rushed into buying CAIx, it seems there will be just a few masternodes. What is a purpose of masternodes (except an attempt to artificially rise a demand)? Well, it's clear why DRK did it -- anonymity, blah blah blah, to raise coin price by producing high demand of non-well informed people and slowly dump their huge instamine all the way.

Why not just pump it and fleece them again? There are so many "manipulators" involved in this coin.

Well, if the dev had the titans, the price would rise, because noone would have sold there coins..

But now, there will be no action, because the big investors have all there coins has a masternode and we also don't have the titans, for forcing the price to rise..

The idea behind the masternodes is not to rise demand, allthough it's a nice consequence.
It was set up to find a fair way to distribute the 14 BTC in dividends to loyal CAIx holders.
People who are willing to hold their coins and let them stake for a month are loyal CAIx holders in our opinion.

This is not at all like how a DRK masternodes work, that should be clear by reading the thread.

The same disadvantage: many masternodes -- less income to owners. Better spend it for a bounties for promotion and future development.

There is 7 BTC sellwall on mintpal waiting for masternode "investors". Who the fuck will invest 1.5 BTC to receive .056 BTC income in a month. Are you kidding me? People are stupid, but that's the limit. At least reduce minimal verge and offer more BTCs.

So you don't think many people are going to go in for the masternode idea then?

In that case, I'm in. Because if you are correct and no one bothers, then that's more dividend for me!  Grin

And that's the flaw in your objection: either loads of people DO bother and the price rises because of lessened supply, or they DON'T bother and I bag loads of BTC from the dividend. Either way, win.

Supply will be much reduced because of this. Also, people narrowly believe that this is the only thing in the pipeline. Wink

A little less than 4 hours remain to set up your masternode.
If you're uncertain about anything or if you have any questions, feel free to join us on #caishen (FreeNode.net).
Make sure you've read every single word (especially the notes) of the explanation, so that confusion and disqualification can be avoided.

Happy staking!

Please change the dependancy for the new wallet to libboost1.54 or 1.55 instead of 1.53. There is no 1.53 in Ubuntu Trusty or Debian Sid repository.

Thanks

To all;

Look at the post found and quoted below, the post of the so cold trollers....

Look how they express them self.

It is just full of anger. Blind anger.

It is just full of hate. Blind hate.

It is just full of filthy and provoking language.

The only meaning of those post of them (the trollers) are attacking, shocking, hurting and damaging other ones.

In this case hurting and damaging the developer of UTC and the coin UTC and thus the UTC community members.

But I belief it is good it happen now.
It is very good how they (the trollers) express them self's and how they show their real identity and devil character now.

Normal people, if they read those post, will only to want to dissociate themselves of this kind of trollers.
Those kind off wolves in sheep clothes.

"Whatever he says is completely void of substance and does not bring any element to the debate.
Anyway, people reading this thread will easily sort out by themselves who's a troll and who isn't."

Much sides!!

You're right, let the people decide. And honestly, some of you do have great points. But, the way you went about expressing them, is hilarious. I don't know if its because you're blinded by anger and can't make a coherent comment without bringing somebody down and sounding like a drunken sailor or if you just act this way by default, but it doesn't really help your cause...

@azerbaidjan

You are a miserable, winning complaining and blood sucking troll on other serious treads and only want to make damage....

Please stop trolling and sucking blood on other treads  !

===>>>  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak7J3AOElXk

.....

To make matters clear: I troll the uTC thread because bumface is clearly a scammer to me: ask him about the investment fund and also to justify the expenses he made with what he earned with the premine etc. Ask him why all devs are leaving this project since the begining, and ask for the real reasons, not the excuse he made up after the fact like the way he tries to turn the departure of dcgirl into a problem dcgirl might have had. He's absolutely not credible. I am 100% sure he will not produce anything credible, as well as I am 100% sure he used the investment fund for personal gain.
I am also 100% sure he sold his share at the highest and does not give a damn about this shitcoin. He's just here to entertain the impression everything is perfect whereas it's not.
Now the ball is in his camp: if he can provide clean and accurate acounting, I may revise my position, but not before.

In the meantime he's just making people think he's working hard to promote the coin whereas the appearances do not plead in his favor: He's not doing anything besides sending patronizing meassages every now and then. He's just behaving a little too much like a windbag.

Drop the mask and stop the comedy.

Now who's the troll?

@RichardMiner: horrible things are being said, but what does the CAIx thread have to do with the UTC thread?

I'm invested in the long run in this crypto because I've honestly not seen a coin more scrutinized yet pass each test thrown at it. The people behind CAIx have worked diligently and investing in this allows the dev team to create more tangible products, which will result in great dividend payouts.
