4181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2015, 10:07:15 PM
I think the concept is that transaction fees will replace, or even exceed block rewards.

Consider 2000 Visa transactions per second, and PayPal at about 120 transactions per second.

If there were just 20 Bitcoin transactions per second at a .0001 BTC transaction fee, this would make 1.2 BTC per block in just transaction fees. If some of these transactions had higher fees in order to get priority, then fees per block could be 2 or 3 BTC or more.

Unfortunately, today Bitcoin can only handle about 7 transactions per second, but with some of the proposals on the table, this may change very soon, then only further adaption is required in order to keep mining profitable as block rewards drop.

TT
only 7 transactions per second ? O_o
Source? this is actually a major issue imo , nothing compared to banks tho... Wink

Here some interesting discussion about this "problem" :

- http://hashingit.com/analysis/33-7-transactions-per-second

For the moment it is not a problem , but maybe in the future it will be a real problem.
4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2015, 09:58:15 PM
The block reward will seize to exist at some point in time.

What could be used as a further incentive to mine?

I can't imagine if all miner stop their mining.

definitely will not be something good for bitcoin.

If all the miners stop the mining activity the bitcoin network will die instantly, because the various transactions will be never "confirmed". I don't think all the miners will shut down their hardware machines at the same time.
4183  Other / New forum software / Re: How the "One Million Dollar" forum looks like ? on: March 04, 2015, 09:36:50 PM
Yes, the project is still on and a public beta should be expected soon. In my opinion it has a pretty slick design.
you should , as Redsn0w mentioned upload some preview pictures. We'd be really happy to see them : >

There has been a posted preview pic of the new forum, I saw it before, but I can't find it again. Will update here if I can find it.

It is old. It is from December. I think a lot of changes have been made after that.

Where can we find it MZ ? cause i got really intrested now , and want to see it : >
if you could link it for me i wouldnt be able to thank you enough.

These are some image :

I've find only these two image on the github repo (https://github.com/epochtalk/epochtalk/). The last update was 6 days ago.
4184  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Potential Sr. Member Account 0.1BTC on: March 04, 2015, 07:39:21 PM
This is really not hard to understand.
OP states he has an account with the acitivity level of 238.
In two weeks time it will be 252 activity therefore making it a Sr. Member.
Simple.

No he has a forum account with 70 of activity :

I have an account that currently has 70 activity but will reach 238 activity after you make 238+ posts.
I know 238 is a Full Member but it will reach 240+ activity anytime and then it will become a sr.member in a very short span of time.

so he is selling a member account for 0.1 btc.

4186  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMHASH] 10 BTC REWARD FOR INFO ABOUT AMHASH OWNERS on: March 04, 2015, 07:14:54 PM
I think he (and his group) doesn't own that bitcoin address (15FrtzQkVLJsk9d4tikBA4qN6XJE4M2xRh) so he can't sign a bitcoin messagge from it.
4187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: March 04, 2015, 07:12:55 PM
I think the bitcoin will reach > 1000 dollars after the next block reward halving, but I'm not sure at 100% (Maybe we should wait until the block reward will be less than 1 bitcoin).

I don't think we'll be alive when the reward is <1btc

The block reward will be less then  one bitcoin in the ~2032 : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply#Projected_Bitcoins_Long_Term

So now it is only a sr member ? Can you prove the ownership of the account with a simple signed message?  I doubt someone will pay you 0.10 btc for a member forum user.
4190  Economy / Gambling / Re: •••• COINICHIWA • SUPER FAST ROLLS • 1% EDGE • JACKPOT •••• on: March 04, 2015, 06:40:50 PM
Had some wins:

Good site as far as I am aware, withdrawal worked out:)

My issue was with the blockchain and I didn't know blockchain was having issues Tongue

But I still have not received my 0.0249 deposit I sent almost a month ago now

Can you post the transaction id, I will send him another PM (but I doubt he will reply) maybe he is busy with his real life. I don't know his "peronal email" so I cannot send him an email.

4193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked - 7170 BTC stolen [DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE] on: March 04, 2015, 05:43:43 PM
if BTER must change the office may mean they have no money for rent.
In one week, no one can move to a new office and make a new website.

Maybe they have some funds, but they cannot reimburse all the costumers (this is obvious). However let see what will happen before the end of this week.

Hi,

Please reply/pm your service and your charges.
The website to be promoted is www.satoshiquiz.com
SatoshiQuiz is a quiz website where users win bitcoin for correctly answering questions from various categories.

Do you want to run/manage a signature campaign ? I think it is the best choice for you.

Ok I am interested in signature campaign so what are you offering?

Nothing I only suggest you to run a signature campaign, it was only my persona suggestion. Good luck.
4196  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMHASH] 10 BTC REWARD FOR INFO ABOUT AMHASH OWNERS on: March 04, 2015, 04:09:24 PM
It would certainly be nice to see a signed message. It seems like you are cutting out a portion of your "hunters" by not posting a signed message proving you control the funds.

Just message me with proof of RELEVANT information holding and from there we can talk. We don't feed trolls/morbo/curiosity nor lose time over any lurker saying "show me yours!!"

Maybe if you will sign a message I'm sure we will start to "believe" you and maybe also help you. Good luck.
4197  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMHASH] 10 BTC REWARD FOR INFO ABOUT AMHASH OWNERS on: March 04, 2015, 04:00:22 PM
News about the signed message ? We are waiting for a simple message from this bitcoin address : 15FrtzQkVLJsk9d4tikBA4qN6XJE4M2xRh

Thanks.

No, we have decided not the feed the trolls, we will not act based on your demands. If anyone wants proof of money holding, first will have to show proof of information holding.

Come on guys it is only a simple signed message , or maybe don't you own that address? Reply please, maybe I'm wrong.
