AFTER DAY 2 session 2     BANKROLL  = 7150 INR

Ok so keep us updated. Some questions:

In which site are you playing?
Is it fiat only?
Is 7150 INR like $100?
How long have you been playing?

A lot of people have done that but sometimes it's worth it if you have experience to deposit, take advantage of a deposit bonus and play directly at a cash level that is beatable for you.
4182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: December 29, 2021, 06:01:07 AM
Don't worry mate this will Open your mind about the right way to deal with gambling , now that you have been treated like this, for sure you will grown and never become addicted or engaging in those sites.
this will also teach you how to control your gambling habit because of how casino treats you in times of needed.

Are you kidding? What has happened to you now is not the first time it has happened to you. He has a compulsive behavioral problem with gambling and that's not fixed because he's lost money now. It's not a matter of opening his mind. The OP has a serious problem and should seek help, as well as use all the tools he can of self-exclusion, although this can always be skipped, as I commented before.

The only solution for him is not to gamble even once again, just as for an alcoholic the solution is not to drink even a drop of alcohol for the rest of his life.

I also do keto-low carb and IF. I agree with a lot of things you say, and I wrote about it a while back:

How the Government made you fat.

The food industry makes money by selling processed products, they don't like that you mainly eat meat (fatty) eggs and butter.

Eating only meat may seem surprising at first glance, especially with the nutritional guidelines that have been sold to us for the last 4 or 5 decades, but eating meat and eggs is much better for humans than eating cereals.

The agricultural revolution was perhaps the most important step in human development. There could never have been an industrial revolution without an argicultural revolution.

I would say that it was a nutritional development that, although not ideal, made it possible to feed many more people. In the same way that mass production and the food industry have made it possible to feed billions of people who were starving before, but with foods that are nutritionally sub-optimal if not toxic in the long term.

Again, this seems to be a case of changing a few words here and there so it doesn't appear easily when searching on google:

An excerpt:

The world of finance continues to be shaken up with more and more financial instruments that allow smart individuals to spread their wealth over time.

Apart from your standard stocks, another tried and tested financial instrument that stands strong to this day is foreign exchange.

Forex trading is the practice of trading and exchanging two different currencies in the hopes of making significant gains.

It’s a popular financial instrument used by financial traders that prefer less volatile trading options as compared to stocks, crypto, and commodities.

I saw the news the other day and I would like to think that with things like this people would learn the meaning of: "not your keys not your bitcoin" but I remain convinced that mass adoption is going to come with custodial wallets and El Salvador is a case in point.

I guess this kind of news is being magnified by the detractors of Bukele and bitcoin, but it doesn't seem like it is going to affect day to day life. Bukele is going to continue in his line, I guess the problems will be solved, even if it takes months, and the detractors will continue to look for anything to criticize politics regarding Bitcoin in El Salvador.

... I can now earn little money to take care of my financial needs all with the help of Bitcoin-related jobs both on this forum and off the forum. BITCOIN IS A SAVIOR

Could you give us a hint of what those Bitcoin-related jobs are that you are doing off the forum? You don't need to detail them if you don't want to for privacy but you can be an example for others in your situation.

I'm glad you're finding sources of online income. Over time you will surely be able to increase your income and you will surely come up with alternative sources of income.
4187  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 28, 2021, 07:40:50 AM
It amazes me that so many people say that the player is to blame. What is the self-exclusion function for, then?

We're talking about people who have a problem they can't control, a compulsion problem.

I haven't researched the historical origin but I'm sure that responsible gambling options are more the result of political powers enacting laws and regulations to control the casinos rather than something the casinos have willingly implemented themselves.

For the casinos, the players who don't control themselves are the most profitable.

What a coincidence that we have had several cases in the forum lately.

In decent casinos you can withdraw your money if you have self-excluded, what you cannot do is deposit or gamble.
4188  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. population grew only 0.1% in 2021 lowest rate since nation's founding on: December 28, 2021, 07:23:48 AM
Can you read this about my country:

Plan now for Nigeria's population explode

Yet, the rate of low quality living, unemployment and poverty is increasing in my country. I have been thinking how Japan have managed to maintain their population. Also 2006 data till now, I noticed USA is maintaining over 300 million but less than 400 million population. Also I noticed other developed countries are maintaining fair population, but countries like Nigeria and Ethiopia are increasing like flies.

What is most important is quality of standard of living, what many increasing population do not have.

In reality, it happens as in nature. A plant that suffers, that notices that it has problems for survival, puts out more seeds to ensure the survival of its genes. Similarly, nations where a high level of welfare has been achieved, tend to have fewer offspring and if the population is maintained or continues to grow it is because of immigration, while in poorer nations people tend to have more offspring. We are not so different from plants in that sense.

In reality, as the world continues to develop, the increase in population will slow down and we may even have a reduction in the total world population in the future, which would be good for the planet, because the most anti-ecological thing there is is a world with 7 billion people and growing.

4189  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sites to play poker game on: December 28, 2021, 07:15:58 AM
Hello bitcointalk am a new member here which site can you recommend for best poker games?

Actually there is no such thing as best poker games. There are some that are faster than others, with more or less players or in various formats (tournaments, sit&goes, cash).

It would help quite a bit to know if you have any experience. If you don't have much, which is what it looks like, you usually tend to like sit&goes and tournaments. If you give more details we can help you

We may not know what the stocks of the S&P 500 will do in the next month or two, but in the analysis of the last few decades, we have a pretty good idea that they will rise.  Most of us know what "stock" is, and that definition hasn't changed in the last few centuries.None of this is true of cryptocurrencies.  Some predict that coins will change all the time by interacting with money, and others warn of dangerous buzz. But no matter what a person predicts about cryptocurrency, it is difficult to imagine the future without cryptocurrency.

None of that is true, of course, with cryptocurrencies. Some predict the coins will forever change how we understand and interact with money and others warn of a dangerous bubble. But whatever a person forecasts for cryptocurrencies, it’s getting harder to imagine a future without them.

This screamed plagiarism to me at first sight. I googled paragraphs and could not find the source but it looks like he has changed some words, I don't know if it is what is known as word spinning.

... and just like that crwth engages in DT Trust abuse in an attempt to silence others...

... Just like finaleshot2016 ...

Any user can create his own custom trust list, have we not outgrown the complaints of why someone put someone on ~? you sound like your ego is hurt because of it.
However, you know that is not enough if just one user distrust you and this doesn't want to affect many other, I'm surprised you're making a drama out of it.

I'm going to believe the feedback left by marlboroza to Timelord2067. It simply says: Lunatic.

Let's see if I get it right because it seems to me that I'm going to put him on ignore.

Timelord2067 distrusted crwth before today. In the latest trust list update from last Saturday it appears like this.

And because today crwth distrusted Timelord2067 he says this is DT Trust abuse. Is that so? Because if so he is a total lunatic. I thought it was about the consumption of potent marijuana or hallucinogenic drugs, but now I doubt if it is not because he is not taking medication for schizophrenia or something like that.

But in Europe, climbing the ladder is easier than most people believe

...

Long story short, we have content claiming its easier to move up the wealth ladder in europe, than it is in the united states.

As with all statistically based studies, it is best to take them with a grain of salt because we are comparing long steel ladders with short wooden ladders.

I remember a time when many americans were thoroughly convinced that europe did everything better. Americans envied the universal healthcare system of europe, and wished the UBI system employed in some european countries could find its way into the USA. At some point that adoration of european policy appears to have diminished. It has been a very long time since I've seen or heard anyone praise european healthcare.

I don't know where you get that from, with Biden in power. If you said that when Trump was in charge, I would see sense in it but not now.

As far as I know LA is one of the most expensive cities in the US (even in the world) when it comes to real estate. I recently watched a documentary that states the reason for this is that very little is being built in that city, and that makes existing real estate even more expensive.

This is the result of left-wing policies based on regulations and taxes for the construction of new housing. Where there are fewer regulations and lower taxes on new housing construction, homes are cheaper.

This whole discourse on social mobility, like that of inequality, is based on the fallacy of considering wealth as something static. As if a rich person in 2021 were the same as a rich person in 1921 or in the year 1000. It usually ends up like the California housing example, magnifying the problems one promised to solve (and blaming it on an external factor, capitalism or whatever is convenient at the time).

The quality of life of billions of people has reached heights that were unthinkable centuries ago, when descriptions of hunger were a constant in literature, that's what's important.
4193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: December 27, 2021, 09:13:03 AM
I am very much in favor of responsible gambling features, and in an ideal world all casinos would have such features so that someone with a problem like the OP could avoid being able to enter any casino.

The problem the OP has is that there is always another option. There are non-kuc casino for example. You have to try to solve your problem from the inside, because there is always another site without responsible gambling options where you can go and lose your money. Even playing live if you exclude yourself from casinos you can always end up in an illegal game, so I would focus on solving the internal problem you have that leads you to gamble compulsively, lose your money, regret it and after a while do the same thing again.

4194  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 501(c)(3) approved : Donations to OpenSats will now officially be tax deductible on: December 27, 2021, 07:23:17 AM
Sounds like good news to me, one more in the normalization of Bitcoin, the only thing I was thinking:

The idea is to stimulate charitable giving but if you intend to donate it is better to donate Bitcoin directly rather than donate with US dollars.

is that people who have their bitcoin without KYC, and we have a few on the forum, will probably prefer to donate dollars to deduct the contribution.

4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump Says Crypto Is 'Very Dangerous' ... but ... on: December 27, 2021, 07:18:33 AM
To me this is yet another example of the saying "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". We have seen a few examples already in this cycle, of bankers and people from the world of finance who a few years ago were saying that Bitcoin had no future, if not outright saying a scam, and today have turned into Bitcoin believers even giving predictions for the price of Bitcoin at the end of this year much higher than the price we are at now.

And many more that we will continue to see.
4196  Other / Meta / Re: Can a merit source use it's status to shill own project by giving merit ? on: December 27, 2021, 07:12:33 AM
I didn't know krogothmanhattan but I see he has impressive feedback.

Yes it is true that some merited posts clearly look like shitposts like "great project!" style you see in the alt section, such as these:

Very nicely done 👍

Super cool  Cool

I'm not saying that you can't reply in a forum sincerely to say these things but precisely in this forum posts of this style are not well seen....

I would not give it more importance because it is just one merit per post, and besides I see that there is something that has not been mentioned: krogothmanhattan gave merit to the first replies but did not give any merit to the replies from March 5. So, it's not the case that he is giving merits to everybody who replies in order to keep his thread getting bumped.
4197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That honest attitude is better than the thousands of spam posts you spread on: December 27, 2021, 06:58:39 AM
That's all well and good what you say, but you are comparing apples and pears. As noorman0 says, the problem is that there are a lot of honest people on this forum who don't get $1K by mistake so they can return it.

I gave it merit too (without being a merit source), but this is an exceptional thing.

I'm sorry but shitposters are not going to change their attitude because of this thread.
4198  Economy / Services / Re: Signature and Avatar for RENT! I need funds for REPAIRS. #ODETTE SURVIVOR on: December 26, 2021, 06:46:55 AM
Yes, as Charles-Tim says it is better to try to join a signature campaign. The problem with what you say is that we have no way to check it, and in the forum there are always people with sobbing stories asking for money/favors/employment.

On the other hand, for someone to hire you to wear the avatar and the signature you should show activity on the forum and that you are able to earn merits. So it's the other way around, just write a few posts every day, try to make quality ones, so you will earn merits and then you will be hired in one of the many signature campaigns.

You can do this!
4199  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 26, 2021, 06:41:11 AM
When we discussed the topic of Bitcoin and its decentralized nature and how it relates to the economy of the world, I lot of people seem to be confused about the place of Bitcoin in the economy.
First, we need to understand the nature of Bitcoin and also its legal tendency.
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not controlled by any one individual or government that is why it is referred to as decentralized currency,

That's all well and good but I think all of us who have been on the forum for a while know that. If you were posting on another forum other than Bitcoin you would be informing them, here you are just telling us again what we already know.

secondly, Bitcoin is an asset just like gold that the reason most people adopt it for its economic benefits.

Yes, it is an asset, but there are people in the forum who defend that it is mainly a currency and that it is an asset is secondary, pooya87 for example is a fervent defender of it.

I for my part would say that although today most people who buy it do it as an asset, if you look at the number of transactions it is clear that it is used as a currency.
4200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need a bull market blow off top ? on: December 26, 2021, 06:35:42 AM
As you know everyone is looking the final blow of top for the bitcoin bull market like it happened in 2017. I have a serious question that why we need a big blow off top to conclude the bull market and enter a bear market.

The fact is that as in the two previous cycles there was a blow off top, the predictive models expected the same for this date already. What happens is that the regularities serve more to understand the past than to predict the future and not because there was a blow off top in the previous two cycles there has to be this one.

Why can't bitcoin stay between 40K to 60K and slowly moves towards 100,000K taking 6 to 8 months and no bear market. Wouldn't it be good for everyone?

It can be like that or not. We are entering uncharted territory and we don't know if the price is going to do that or go 4 years without going above $70K, although I think those of us who are in this see that in the long term the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, both because of its intrinsic properties and the devaluation of fiat currencies.
