4181  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: February 16, 2021, 10:59:18 AM
Lol, i refuse to believe that 2021 will not be good. I am a big fan and believer of the saying that "it only gets better" so it will only get better. 2020 was not so much a good year to some and very good to others. This year will be good for me because I am fairly very optimistic about it regardless.
4182  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle pain? on: February 14, 2021, 10:52:09 AM
If you constantly experience pain and you are not a fan of painkillers, it is best that you lead a very healthy Lifestyle filled with daily simple exercising and stretching. Every morning when you wake up, make it a lifestyle to engage in a simple stretch routine. Research has shown that people that engage in regular stretching and exercising and less likely to habe muscular and joint pains.
4183  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has BTC impacted your live? Come share your story ! on: February 14, 2021, 10:37:17 AM
For me, i would say that btc and crypto at large has offered a way out of poverty for me. Before the start of crypto, a lot of individuals like myself have often wondered how to run into wealth. Early believers like myself that had a token to invest and buy some fraction to keep are now reaping the benefits. The future is bright and i am forever thankful to Satoshi Nakamoto for this breakthrough.
4184  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of PC chair do you use? on: February 14, 2021, 09:42:33 AM
I currently work long hours on my pc because I am a graphics designer, i make use of an armless swivel chair without the armrest. I particularly like this chair because it allows me get relatively very close to my table. Although it is not very comfortable for very long term sitting, it is very okay for me for the now.
4185  Other / Serious discussion / How much money is enough money? on: February 14, 2021, 09:21:55 AM
The chase for money especially in this dispensation is never ending. People are willing to go all out and do anything (legal and illegal) for money these days. The real question that i am forced to ask is, how much money is enough money?

At what point will one say that he or she has had enough money?
4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: February 14, 2021, 09:12:10 AM

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

If you gamble full time, be ready to incur losses and always be in anxiety. Gambling is a game of chance and chance may not always be on your side. You might loose all your money and property if you gamble full time.
4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 14, 2021, 08:22:12 AM
Manny Pacquiao is favourite for me to win this fight, judging from his impressive statistics. Though Terence has an undefeated run with 37 wins and no losses, i believe he is no match for Manny coming into this fight with an impressive 62 wins and 7 losses.
4188  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Let's talk severe depression on: February 14, 2021, 08:07:21 AM

I trust that many of us on this forum have struggled with depression at one time or another. Some chronically. It also doesn't seem like there is an easy fix for it.

Every one has in one stage experience or will experience depression. Some people will describe depression as a sickness that affects the mind. It is a disorder that can result in unending sadness and a lack of interest. If you are depressed, please talk to someone about it. (A professional preferably)
4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Valentines Day on: February 14, 2021, 07:42:21 AM

I am hoping that Elon Musk would be using this day to be on the news...like he is giving 1 Bitcoin to his own wife or any family member in celebration of the Valentine's Day, the day for giving love and affection.

Lol, this is something to really hope for today, a news like this today from Elon, will definitely raise the new current ATH of btc to somewhere closer or above  the 50k mark. Come on Elon, we await your tweet.
4190  Other / Off-topic / What is your spec? on: February 14, 2021, 07:30:52 AM

I had a discussion with a single friend about the kind of girl he will like to be involved with, he replied with the funniest response i have ever heard. He said - "I want to date a crypto conscious girl, (Lol) I laughed so hard and wanted to find out his reasons, he said he wanted someone that together they will be speculating and watching the market, deciding which and which coin to either buy and sell.

What do you look out for most in the opposite sex?
What is your spec?
4191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it weird to wake up 2 hours before anybody else to have time alone? on: February 14, 2021, 07:22:21 AM
All the great men in history that have marvelled their generation were not so much lover's of sleep. As much as it is important to have a good sleep/rest regularly, too much sleeping is not something good. Starting your day very early before others wake up is very good because it gives you a head start to the day. Imagine someone waking up by 7 a:m to do what you already did by 4 a:m.
4192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The very fundamental of wealth, jealousy, how can we abuse this human behaviour? on: February 14, 2021, 07:17:33 AM

Rich men induce jealousy with money, poor men get jealous.

There are two types of jealousy, the good type of jealousy that motivates and gingers you to want to do better and  the bad type that is full of ills, sadness at another's success and bad wishes. Though it might not be in the intention of anyone to spore up jealousy, it is a human trait that is inherent. It now becomes the decision of the individual to choose his own jealousy. Even the bible describes God as a "jealous God", it is not being jealous that is bad, it is the type of jealousy that you choose to have that will decide if you are good or bad.
4193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Trump be indicted ? on: February 14, 2021, 07:08:11 AM

Trump not convicted ...what a surprise.

Not so much a surprise to me, despite the charge of insurrection levelled against Trump, it is quite difficult to imagine a past president in prison.
4194  Other / Politics & Society / Misconceptions about valentine. on: February 14, 2021, 06:53:24 AM
I believe in love everyday and not love only on valentine's day, I believe in gifting loved ones even when there is no occasion for it. I believe in sit outs and eat out, lunch and dinner dates with people or someone you love on any day and not necessarily on valentine's day alone. If one truly loves someone, one should show it everyday and not only on a specific day.

Valentine's Day celebration in our society has taken a new turn. It is now a day where those not in a relationship or married feel left out, it is now a day where those who do not get gifts tend to feel a little less loved. A day where common things like gifting and movies, eat outs and dinner dates etc are made to feel as though they were uncommon things that could not happen anyday else.

What is your view on Valentine's Day? Is it a day to fake love and show temporary affection? Is it only for lovers?
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 100% faith on: February 14, 2021, 05:35:52 AM
Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and as he has said -"Bitcoin is faith"  and not so many have faith. Let's face it, not everyone has to be like Elon and Dorsey who are believers. Though his statement might desuave the interest in btc of some who see Mr Jeremy as mentor, it is good news that his statement has no total control effect on the market. Whatever he thinks, doesn't matter.
4196  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Testing a vaccine against a low risk virus. on: February 14, 2021, 05:22:47 AM
The vaccine Developers plan to test their new vaccines on young healthy volunteers. This confuses me, as the immune system of these volunteers will be on top of the virus as soon as it sees it, and it will be difficult to determine the effects of the vaccine. Another problem stems from the fact that 80% of the population has probably developed a natural immunity.

I believe that the results from the experiments will not be completely true. The vaccine might be given the praise that the immune system is suppose to be given. Many friends of mine experienced one or two symptoms of the virus covid (Some mostly reporting a loss in smell and taste) something that they have never experienced in their lives, many did not visit a hospital to get tested or quarantined, they simply stayed home, ate well and took a few medications (mostly vitamins). After some few days, their senses of smell and taste returned. It is safe to say that alot have developed immunity on their own, and simply testing their vaccine on healthy individuals like this might not give a complete and thorough evaluation of the drug (vaccine).
4197  Other / Serious discussion / Re: US Navy sold 9,000 personal data for Bitcoin on: February 14, 2021, 05:04:10 AM

Marquis Asaad Hooper and Natasha Rene Chalk served in the Navy.  According to the authorities, Hooper got access to the database of one of the companies under the pretext of checking personnel. According to the indictment, the couple sold personal information to more than 9,000 people for $ 160,000 in Bitcoin.

The details of your article and the the topic of the article are both not in line. Hooper and Rene served in united states navy, your topic makes it seems as though it was a collective decision by high ranking decision making officers in the navy to sell the private data for its people for btc.
4198  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Investing is a question of guts on: February 14, 2021, 04:54:20 AM
When it comes to financial decisions, one must be careful and tactical about it. Investment is a long term practice and before one can invest, one must be ready to exercise some patience.
4199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone else grow up poor but are better off now and it feels weird to buy things on: February 14, 2021, 01:00:32 AM
It feels weird buying things because of the kind of environment and situation you grew up in. Most times, we are affected throughout life by the situations that surrounded our childhood. However, because you grew up poor, and with a poor mans mentality, it is your duty to let go of such dispositions surrounding money and spending it, so you can actually attract wealth.
4200  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of life do you think is perfect? on: February 13, 2021, 09:59:59 PM
A perfect life is a life filled with peace, love and laughter. It is a life where there are good friends, family and money to enjoy together.
