4181  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 19, 2021, 06:32:39 PM
Eventually this had to happen. I mean we have been going up for so long and I did expected it to go up a bit more before it dropped, I was expecting 100k to be reached because we got so close, but apparently other people had other ideas. It is fine really, I am sure it will bounce back one day, I do not suggest selling and getting out right now if you do not need the money right away.

The smartest decision right now is to wait for it to go back up, even if you bought at 64k, if you can afford to wait (which you should, if you joined with money you need you made a mistake from start) eventually it will go up. Maybe it will take a month, maybe a year, maybe a few more years but eventually one day it will reach above 64k once again and I am sure of that. Which is why I believe this is going to be the period where "loss" and "potential profit" will show the differences.
4182  Economy / Economics / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: May 19, 2021, 05:08:07 PM
I really didn't expected this to happen but I got in very early so I am not bothered about the drop as of right now, it can drop another 50% before I would be worried about the situation, but I can honestly say that this is definitely looking like a bear run for sure, it is not a "correction" anymore like the previous ones.

Let's be honest with each other there were like nearly 10 times in the past 1 year when the price dropped but then went up higher, it kept going down 20% and then going up 50%+ and that way we went higher and higher, so anytime price dropped people started to not care and keep buying because they believed it was nothing important and since we always got back higher they were right. However this time it looks different, from 64k to 34k is not something that can be called a correction anymore, it is a full on bear run we are in for sure.
4183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A common enemy in the crypto world--Elon Musk! on: May 19, 2021, 03:45:35 PM
For some people he has turned out be source of high profits and I don't think they hate him in the crypto world. For instance the Dogecoin millionaires US brothers who invested $8k in Dogecoin and now they are playing in millions. This is how market works and if you keep the pace with the flow you can also make small or large share in profits depends upon your perspective.Tesla is still holding its Bitcoin after suspension of Bitcoin related payments and who knows he is buying this dip and disclose it later. You might have sell at low and find Musk guilty for this dips but you need to know that many initial btc supporters turn to be against it after having their profit share..When you understand the foul market play you win.
I didn't like him when he was making some people profit, I do not like him when he is causing people to lose money as well, I knew this day would come. There is no way in the world where people could keep on making profit from some guy tweeting, sure it could go to a point but it will eventually crash and burn, that dude could come out and say "I changed my mind, dogecoin is a shitcoin" and the price would go down 50%+ in a few hours.

This is why never leave anything to chance, never let someone else take the charge of your financial situation instead of you, people who leave it to Elon Musk were idiots and I always said that but they said "I have made 5x profit so far!! suck it!!" and all kinds of annoying stuff, kudos to the ones who made profit and know when to get out, but now we are left with so many people who lost money because of Elon.
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: May 19, 2021, 01:58:03 PM
I've been reading CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph, but those are general news sites in my opinion.  There isn't a lot of news about the smaller coins.

What sites do you read?
https://cryptopanic.com I have always used this website and they are by far the best at what they do. Sure there are good news websites about crypto but this website collects them all, all the good websites, all the bad websites, all the known famous peoples crypto tweets, basically it is purely a place where you can get all the info and news about crypto in one place instead of going to many different places.

This is why I think it is quite honestly the best website there is out there for getting news about crypto, because it is not just one place, it is all the places combined into one, what can be better than that? There is also comments section where you can see what people are saying about a certain thing, that comments/chat part of the website also allows you to not only get the news but also get the reactions to the news as well and that is very important.
4185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: May 19, 2021, 12:48:59 PM
Elon created a whole new deal out of this (pun intended) but the reality is that finance world is killing the world so much that bitcoin using up some electricity is not even remotely similar. I mean wall street is the one that keeps making oil companies rich while they spill it everywhere, wall street is the one financing fracking companies to hurt the world, basically the fiat world has been screwing the world way before crypto was even a thing. 20 years before crypto was even started, TWENTY YEARS AGO, al gore became a candidate on saving the world.

Hence I do not think that we can blame miners on current situation, plus if we block all the bad ways of generating electricity and go with just renewable ones, then the miners would have to get that instead of the current one, so I do not think why people do not focus on getting more renewable energy instead of shutting down things that uses energy.
4186  Economy / Speculation / Re: More individuals like Elon musk, the price might fall further. on: May 18, 2021, 09:16:00 PM
There are not that many people like Elon Musk. I mean sure there are rich people but they do not change the price. Warren Buffet has been against bitcoin for a decade now and that did not dropped the price, Bill Gates is not a huge fan neither I suppose and that did not dropped the price, Samsung is a huge company and puts a crypto wallet in their phones because they like crypto and that did not increased the price neither.

Honestly what makes Elon so powerful and allow him to manipulate is not his richness, nor his fame, it is luck which started when he first promoted dogecoin and it went up a little bit and all the other people who saw that joined more and more and more, that's all there is to it. That is why I think it is quite important to realize there is really nothing that could be done about this without any changes to peoples mindset about Elon and how "powerful" he is because they are the ones that gave him the power.
4187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not be able to stay above $50k for 10 consecutive days ever again on: May 18, 2021, 08:12:34 PM
Proudhon is like the guy who knows bitcoin will go up, buys bitcoin, supports bitcoin, but keeps up a funny schtick about how bitcoin will not go up. I do not think that he believes what he says, I think he knows bitcoin will go up, I know he knows bitcoin will be over 50k 10 days in a row, I mean these are quite normal and expected things, he doesn't say something like "bitcoin will not be over 500k ever" which it will be eventually one day but I would understand someone saying that. Whereas this is 50k and just 10 days, like not even a month, and we all know how proudhon talked about how "bitcoin is a ponzi" and "bitcoin is a bubble" and all that and joked about it, and how he had this "bitcoin won't reach 54,55,56,58,60!" type of correction funny topic.

So, I believe he is not sincere about 50k for 10 days, he is just joking here and people believing he is serious.
4188  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bounced hard from the $42,000 key level 🔥🔥🔥 on: May 18, 2021, 07:41:58 PM
Honestly this is better than expected, I feel like people are not giving that "bounce" the relative importance that it should have. These type of things are usually meaning "bitcoin buyers are willing to let it drop a bit but not that much", like for example for the past 4+ years we haven't gone under 3k, whenever it tried and dropped under 4k it shot right back up and that is what happened with 42k and that is scary, I am very scared of that. Why? Well if the new "not going under 3k ever again" is 42k? That would be awesome, and when a great thing happens I am usually very scared of it because it means such an awesome and superb thing that I have hard time believing such a good thing could be happening in my life (I know I know I am pessimistic).

So, I think this 42k could mean something huge, we need time to see if it is really like that but if it is, then this was a start of something huge.
4189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price crushed? on: May 18, 2021, 06:43:09 PM
indeed, what @elonmusk says really influences what happens with bitcoin, because what many people follow @elonmusk to do that, even though it is clear that as a businessman it is clear that there is a certain intention to do and it is certain that the benefits will be obtained , but there are still many people who can be affected by it.

at the moment it looks like the biggest correction has happened to bitcoin over the last 3 months, because it usually never reaches a price below $ 42K, but now it has touched that price, obviously this is a worry too, because if it drops below $ 40K we can't imagine What will happen. although many are ready to buy bitcoin immediately.
That has been the case for a while, the price goes up, then goes down a bit, then goes up, I mean people do not realize how much it can go up and down. When you tell people "it will go up and down" they mock you because "what else it can do", like yeah going up and down is the only option that is true but bitcoin going between 48320 to 48610 all day versus bitcoin going from 48k to 55k in a day are VEEEEERY different things.

So when we talk about how it will go up from here, we are not saying 100 bucks, we are saying thousands of dollars, and when we say bitcoin will go down we mean the same thing, and that is what people are missing. I am not sure if this is the start of a bear run, I feel like this could still be a huge chance to make a profit from the bull run that will keep going but also famously summers are not really a great period for crypto neither so who knows.
4190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 18, 2021, 05:58:04 PM
Mine is simple DCA and has always been a simple DCA and it has worked wonders so far, it's incredible. I personally do not get people who are trying to over complicate things when they do not understand about the situation. I mean sure if you are great trader then go ahead and do whatever you want to do but if you are not a great one then there is no reason to keep doing complex calculations because they are not going to help you more than DCA if you are noob.

I just buy bitcoin as much as I can time to time, sometimes it is higher in price and sometimes it is lower in price but I always end up buying bitcoin, and that's how I end up with making a good amount of profit. It is still technically not profit because I am still keeping them, but I may end up selling them soon if it goes to 100k, I know the price is dropping that's why people are worried but I feel like 100k could happen this year if there is a good recovery.
4191  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see yourself quitting after this bullrun? on: May 16, 2021, 04:30:30 PM
I quit 5 years ago. I didn't see the point on keep working for a regular company when I can make profit from crypto. Obviously I am not a trader alone, I also work and I have been part of 4 different projects so far and I have been working as a ceontent creator for the past 3 years as well.

That is why I quit, not because I knew that I would make a profit from the trading because I know that there will be good days and bad days in trading and I couldn't risk it, but the content writing helped me a lot during this period and that is how I have been making my income. That is why I was capable of quitting 5 years ago and I tell the same thing to everyone, if you could find a job in the crypto world that you are good at, you will be capable of doing this for a very long time and you could basically just do whatever you want without worry of your boss.
4192  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason Bitcoin Investment will be preferred more than Oil on: May 16, 2021, 03:19:20 PM
Oil has been getting worse and worse because of renewable energy. We all know things like gas, oil, coal are getting to become the old ways of generating energy when you could potentially use wind and solar without hurting the world, which is why there are so many places who are moving towards clean energy and that is why oil prices are not good at all. At certain point last year you had to pay to own oil, literally pay to own it, normally you pay to get it but do not pay to own it, last year it became less than 1 cent at certain points because there was no place to store it at all.

This means overtime bitcoin which is something that everyone wants did became bigger compared to oil which was something nobody wanted for a while, now they want it again but it will get less and less with more and more renewable energy becomes the standard.
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: May 15, 2021, 08:36:53 AM
Ada has been the latest trend and I have friends that are investing in it, I'm just the only one that has been missing out on investing in it. But I do follow up with it and I do check the charts and watch where it's heading to, because I have interest in investing in it soon. The way I have seen it, there is the possibility that the price can even go further from the current rate is below $2. But going all the way up to $20 is what I can't really tell you for sure, right now the whole market is kind of getting bullish, although I do know there are coins that are still growing really much.

People are just speculating about the high price as they would usually, but they are not so sure about it. But, now would still be a good time to invest in ADA, even if it doesn't reach that high price, it's still going to reach a high price.
4194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping time guys. Fill your bags now. on: May 15, 2021, 07:07:28 AM
We have been thinking and waiting for a big big dip after watching markets going constant upwards. Now is the time you should buy your favorite alts and wait for their recovery, this is not a financial advice so do your research before buying anything and stay away from futures, so many traders got rekt few minutes ago. You can wait too if you think the markets are going to present more circus before the dust settles.
Sometimes I do wonder why people will always talk about having a decrease price and when that decrease in price finally comes, you will see all of them complaining about how they have lost their money and then they move on to saying that they are going to be selling their assets, while at first they have been saying that they want the price to crash so that they can even buy more assets lol.

People really need to know this and know peace; when the market goes down, you should see it as the opportunity you need. Don't start selling your assets because the market crashed a bit to an extent, because you're going to be the one that's going to lose. Unless you're into swing trading and the market goes down a bit and you want to sell while you are still on profit.
4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Jumps 22% as Elon Musk Hints at Improving Network’s Transaction Efficie on: May 15, 2021, 06:31:10 AM
Well it might be really nice for some people now as they are able to make profit from the price manipulation. But I think it's very bad. Yes, although I can't really tell whether he's the one that's behind all that as people do say, because I don't follow up with things that are happening in the dogecoin community and I don't invest in it (I'm considering investing there though), but it's very bad if one man can be manipulating the whole community/market easily like that. It's not good.

That means he can just do anything at any time to make profit and cause others to lose. That is one of the reasons why I like Bitcoin because no one can come out and easily manipulate the market because it's already really huge. But all these small coins like dogecoin can be manipulated by rich guys.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 14, 2021, 06:57:14 PM
I personally see Leicester and Chelsea are still in a tough situation to be able to maintain their position, so with that I personally believe Liverpool can make good use of this situation. Indeed, I also realize that sometimes Liverpool fail when playing against mediocre teams, but at this moment I am very sure the spirit of the players will still be good to get good results as well because this is only a very close difference and it is still possible for change. With the Chelsea-Leicester match still remaining and in the next match I don't think these two teams will win easily, then this situation will be very beneficial for Liverpool to be able to end the season in the top four.
I do not see how bad Leicester could get? I mean it is true that both Chelsea and Leicester have 3 games left whereas Liverpool has 4 games left however do you really think that Leicester will lose that many games? If Liverpool wins that extra game it is 3 point difference, and it is also 2 point difference to Chelsea, so I agree that it is not that far away, however one of the two will 100% go to champions league that is not even a question in my mind.

Because Leicester won and because even with a tie they will still go, a 2 win plus a tie would be enough for them to be in champions league, that is really good enough if you ask me and something Leicester can do. However even if Leicester can't, Chelsea will, one of them will definitely go. Only question here is will Liverpool take one more step and drop one of these two? We do not know that yet but their job is the hardest for sure.
4197  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoins did Tesla earn from selling cars? on: May 14, 2021, 06:23:30 PM
Historically the demand for tesla EVs has always been significantly greater than production & supply.

More consumers want tesla cars than their factories can produce.

They didn't need bitcoin support to boost sales demand. They had no trouble filling all available orders without crypto.

It all depends on how much of a rush they were in to take orders in BTC. Perhaps they expected the price of BTC to climb and wanted to hoard more.

Its all speculation unless official numbers are divulged in tesla's next earnings report.
That is both a success story from Tesla obviously but also a bit about how they are relatively a new place that doesn't have manufacturing all over the world. For example 4 different car manufacturers who are all foreigners have their manufacturing places in my nation, all because there are 100k+ cars sold here per year which means if they manufacture it on their native nation and send it here that would be very difficult, they would have to ramp up the production by a ton, instead they just started one here, build it here and sell it here, or even nearby nations to my nation.

Tesla has very limited amount of manufacturing places, eventually it will be a lot of places, and those places will get even faster and bigger, at that point it will be like any other place. Plus cars are expensive to manufacture, so most places do not just make a million and wait for it to be sold, they calculate the requests and manufacture accordingly as well, rarely ever excess amount left.
4198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: May 14, 2021, 05:46:51 PM
I am pretty sure that NFT was the "big deal" in crypto world for a few months before all these apes and shibas and doges all emerged and became huge, that is understandable and it is true as well because it really happened that way. However I also believe that there is an element of NFT not being a profitable busines in the long term and that is one of the deals. Obviously speaking we are not going to see a ton of changes in NFT world soon because they were basically not going to keep going like that it was always impossible.

People were giving thousands of dollars into gifs, did anyone really believed that it could continue like that? I was just expecting it to drop at any time. This was the same thing that happened during cryptokitty period, people spent insane amount of money to buy kitties and breed them and create the most expensive one, and eventually most of them started to worth less than gas fee.
4199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs Investing (The major differences) on: May 14, 2021, 05:23:27 PM
The study says this one, traders are losing because they lose opportunities in the coming years and I have to agree on this one since I do trade BTC before and I regret doing that because of the value today. Anyway, we all have different strategy and we cannot blame traders for actively working on the market so they can achieve their goals. I personally play long in stock market and do trading in cryptomarket, its about your risk tolerance and of course your availability.
Good strategy though, the stock market is more secured as it's less manipulated compared to the crypto market, but in terms of profitability, we can make a bigger profit in crypto if we are smart enough in finding the right opportunity. The high volatile market could give better profit for smart traders, that's why we can't blame some people who focus on crypto as there's big money in here.
Stock market is as easily manipulated as crypto, even more so in that regard. The only difference is in the stock market world there is SEC which would stop you if you do not bribe the politicians first, in the stock market world you could literally bribe a politician, get a new law passed, and after you make a deal with the politician about it, do a huge buyback of your stocks, then get the deal officially put into law, then sell after the stock increases and you made a huge profit. This has happened a billion times already, it is perfectly lawful as well.

Crypto is decentralized, it can't be manipulated that way because there is nobody at the top making decisions, however it is also manipulated because with one Elon tweet it can go up or down, but it is still all the people who buy and sell that make the decision. For example, SNL sketch of Elon was seen as something that would increase the price, it plummeted it.
4200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn in crypto in 2021 on: May 14, 2021, 04:38:37 PM
I guess the best way to earn is by working, I have always believed that to be true. There are soooo many people who are into crypto just so they could "buy crypto with fiat, wait, crypto price goes up, sell crypto for fiat" and that's it, that is all they do. However for that to work there are tens of thousands maybe over a hundred thousand people working in the crypto space, from small time interns to high paid CEO's and founders there are countless jobs in the crypto world and since it is a global business people from all around the world work together for it as well.

Long story short there is really nothing that would be shocking if I said working is the best method because unless you have a huge capital and a great trader, the best thing is to work because it pays well if you know what you are doing and provide a quality work for people.
