If you are going to ask me then I would say that I don't really give a flying fart what Elon say. In the first place even if he is a billionaire, his billions cannot affect the market of crypto. He can affect the social aspects of people wanting to buy and sell. But certainly not the market, not the coins themselves. Even if Elon sold all of his Bitcoins, it will not have an effect. So we can all just chill, buy the dip, and then thank each other later for surviving another interesting year for crypto.

Exactly right? the main drive of the current bearish is because the media keep spreading elon's tweet and trying to build opinion, their tesla holding isn't exactly significant to the market anyway but people fussing over it as if tesla dumped the btc the market gonna get brought down to zero.
Maybe instead of being all negative due to elon musk people should also learn to watch other institutional investors like grayscale or microstrategy that buying btc in bulk like there's no tomorrow instead because they know the real potential of bitcoin.

I have also never been a great fan of elon musk and when he entered the crypto space with his tweets about dogecoin a few months ago i was not happy about it like so many people here and in other crypto community but i was worried instead. Now that he made a lot of money with his bitcoin and dogecoin purchases he talks bad about Bitcoin and that alone is enough to drive the price down which is crazy and not completely his fault but he still should know that it can influence the life of a lot of people if he makes a tweet about a currency or an investment asset..i feel very bad for everyone who bought into crypto because of elon musk just before he caused the dump.

It's business to him and right now, Tesla is just another unprofitable car manufacturer so he is trying to scrape together funds anywhere that he can - this was all foreseeable. He basically performed insider-trading on the Tesla stock and has a highly erratic personality, yet for some people these are perceived as admirable traits that they want to copy. The best you could hope for is to try and take advantage of his tweets, for example there was a huge run-up on the price of Dogecoin the week before his Saturday night live performance.
