4181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash? More like bitcoin crash! on: August 01, 2017, 11:03:42 PM
When it reaches a stable point, it will be profitable to buy it and hold it long term.
Hold for long term, I agree may be 10 years later that is long term. WHile bitcoin can be 10.000 USD ten years later. I think I will hold bitcoin better than fake bitcoin.

The term fake bitcoin is very confusing now since the BIP is activated. The bitcoin that we know is not really the original bitcoin that is dreamt by Satoshi Nakamoto because he don't want a SegWit (as stated in other posts) but the BCC is based on what Satoshi is dreaming of so we can say it is not the fake, but it is forked out of bitcoin whoch seems not the usual one.
From this, I will be asking you, which fake bitcoin are you talking about?
4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Segwit an altcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 04:03:27 PM
Someone say yes. someone say no. Could anyone explain easily in scientific way?

Maybe this quote be perfect for beginning discussion.

Yes because it is (BTC Cash)a divergence from the current bitcoin so would mean it is an alternative version of bitcoin so altcoin it is, regardless if more people support it and it becomes the leader it is still an altcoin, in my eyes anyway.

this has somewhat fazed me as well... the original bitcoin didn't have segwit and didn't have larger blocks, so, the bitcoin running now, which has segwit, and the forked one - bitcoin cash, whose blocksize was increased, are both modifications of the original.  Grin so that means the original bitcoin is gone (?)  Huh

From my point of view, Bitcoin SegWit is not the original bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto dreamt bitcoin in other way, so that means the original bitcoin is the digital currency which is in the mind of its creator.
As they've said, Satoshi Nakamoto don't like SegWit so we can say that the original Bitcoin is gone. And, the BCH now is the digital coin Satoshi Nakamoto is dreaming but it is an altcoin so we cant say that it is the original one.

Don't worry Yahoo. We had trust in you.
Thank-you for the information.

ya know... some times its best not to say anything  and simply show your trust ....
but not say things in really bad English "as i am sure it is second language for you" "AS IT IS ALSO FOR ME"
almost insulting that person!
had is past tense and the phrase you wrote  means " at one point you trusted him but after that point you lost trust in him..."
i hope it was a simple mishap and you could correct it with no one saying anything but  HOLY SHIT try to understand the language your writing in please!

Making a statement about something that you know is good and in a forum, second or third language, we don't care. A forum do not need a good speaker but a good informer.
4185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 31, 2017, 02:47:59 PM
For me, bitcoin is one of earning sources online. But i am not sure, can be rich instant from bitcoin. But need to admit i have earned 3x from my salary working.

That is right, there is no certainty that one can be instantly rich just by earning bitcoin. You really need to be active at the same time focus on these currencies so you can reach your certain goal.
As you've said, butcoins is just a way to make money, but it is a door, an opportunity that may lead us to the doorsteps of success.
4186  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kung may isang milyong piso ka... on: July 31, 2017, 11:17:02 AM

4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: July 31, 2017, 09:42:43 AM
The more you lose in the game big amount, is the more you become greed unto it, due to you want to win big. That's why, greediness is the number one source why we lose bigger than the balance to our bankroll. So it is much better for real to quit or stop gambling anymore mate before you become totally wreck.

I think that is the total opposite of myself. I am the type of people who surrenders easily, the time that I know that I can't be successful with that type of work or activity, I stop. I think we must have that type of thinking even in a little percentage, even a little part of our brain especially when we are talking about gambling which is only about risk and luck
4188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 31, 2017, 07:55:56 AM
I just read about bitcoin thing during my vacant time in school and browsing in Facebook. I find my self wanting to learn about it. I was totally amazed how other people earned and get rich. I want to become rich too in my very own way.

That is amazing, people are making a way to advertise bitcoin even in social media. I think it will not be long before bitcoin become more popular to people especially to individuals who wants to invest on it.
I know bitcoin through my classmates and taught me how to earn them, after that they let me walk my path to earn them, because of them I earn some profit that I use to help myself.
4189  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 31, 2017, 06:09:30 AM
I don't think of any main factors that controls the price of bitcoin, the surge and dump of its price is uncontrollable or unpredictable. Bitcoin is different from alternate currencies its so special and its a masterpiece, Maybe the only thing that can be control over bitcoin is ownership or volume that holders have but not the price actually.

For me bitcoin is not that special but it is really one of the masterpiece a man can invent. Because of bitcoin, many more alternative coins are made and their technology are being applied to other not only in digital currencies. But as you've said, bitcoin's volatility will not be controlled by anyone but it can be affected by some happenings.
4190  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 31, 2017, 05:21:06 AM
okay first please pardon me sa pagging newbie/noob ko. Pero what will be the benefit of BCC to us? May nabasa ako somewhere na after ng split, ma ddouble ang BTC because of this new crypto "Bitcoin Cash". I made quick research and ang nag suupport sa BCC are those who opposed segwit2x. sa standard user na tulad ko, ang iniisip ko lang kasi is itago sa peso wallet muna ang pera and abang sa mangyayari bukas, if sumadsad ang BTC, that's the time na mag cconvert  ako ng peso to BTC wallet. For average user ng coins.ph/btc, is this a good move? may nababasa kasi ako na delikado itambay sa btc wallet ang pera.

4191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain wallet safe during the fork ? on: July 31, 2017, 04:50:03 AM
Bitcoin may split after the fork. So its better to transfer all your bitcoins to a exchange where they can provide BCC. Perhaps you will get the equal share of BCC you have in BTC. Blockchain.info might not be safe during the fork so its better you move your coins on a hardware wallet or paper wallet.

"Bitcoin may split?" Fork is like another term for split as the word fork suggests. As sir Theymos posted here in the forum, we must really take care of our bitcoins because it may dissapear when we still transact in the day of the fork.
So, to be more safe, you must told that days before because the fork now is closing and your transaction or coins might be on risk.
4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 31, 2017, 02:58:10 AM
I think it will be in the form of currency in the future.
Let us just wait for that to happen.

It is a currency, a digital currency, so even now, bitcoin is a currency. Maybe what you are saying is that bitcoin will have a physical coin in the future which is not gonna happen because the decentralization will be gone to it's features.
Be comfortable the way bitcoin is accepted by some country now, though let's hope it will be of more use in the future making it's value to rise more.
4193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: July 31, 2017, 01:37:03 AM
Why do you have to be shameful? You have done nothing wrong. making your own money is never something to be ashamed of, you're not stealing or scamming anyone. Don't feel ashamed feel proud about yourself, you are not doing something wrong.

The reason they become shameful is because the culture of their countries are different. The gamblers there are being labeled as freeloaders whose profits or earnings are not as stable as the ones who do their jobs everyday.
Think of it, you have a classmate in high school which you two graduate at the same year and then after years he or she has a work while you are a gambler not having a stable income, that is a shame.
4194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: July 30, 2017, 11:21:55 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
Definitely yes, from me not only luck but also experience, skills and knowledge does matter in gambling. I do believe that if you have enough experience upon gambling you could manage your emotions. Yet, it could be a great help fo you to win the game by giving a high chance for you to win.
yes no doubt that experience is matter in gambling and specially in sports gambling.

When you have an experience you will realize something, that is not you are having a good time gambling but you are wasting your time in such activities when you are putting your money on risk instead of investing it.
Most of the result of these experience is a gambler find a place of specialty and control to themselves especially to gambling. Also, they are being tired of one place and find new places or ways to gamble.
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fork on: July 30, 2017, 04:43:42 PM
Is Bitcoin going to split in two currencies on August 1st, 2017? And what to do, If I don't control private keys to my bitcoins?

There will be a split this August 1, it will be Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. There are wallets that has been said by sir theymos that is safe and can be trusted when the fork comes. I think just don't make a transaction before August so you will not regret that, also if you are reading the updates you must try to avoid putting your coins into exchanges sites.
4196  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: July 30, 2017, 12:15:23 AM
I don't directly spread things about bitcoin, they just notice me doing something and then explain to them that I'm in a forum about bitcoin. It is a digital currency and what are its features. It can be an part time source of income for me as a student. Some gets interested. I am just telling them that they need to explore it on their own.

The same as you, I don't really spread some of my knowledge about bitcoin unless they ask me directly. I am a shut in so I don't really go outside, I just do when I need something.
Most of my neighbors see me as a gaming addict but the truth is I don't really have a gaming rig to start with. I am addicted to animes and also, I am earning bitcoins through Sig camps. My parents and friends asked me about it, I gave them links, and gave some brief explanations.
4197  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Rebit.ph may nakasubok na ba? on: July 29, 2017, 03:09:23 PM
ano po ba mga cons at pros ng coins.ph at rebit.ph sa isat isa para mas makita natin kung saan sila both usefully magamit

May mga pagkakaiba ang coins.ph and rebit.ph in terms of converting bitcoin into Philippine peso or php. As sir Dabs said, magkaiba yung price nila.
And also, rebit can give you a good number of bitcoin na pwede icashout, pagdating sa coins, mas mababa. If I am not mistaken 40K sa coins and 200K sa rebit.
4198  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 29, 2017, 12:12:09 PM
Bitcoin takes constant instability. You can continuously buy and sell bitcoin. For many people this is the primary earnings. If you use a bitcoin-only store to sell bitcoins in General it is impossible because they are constantly increasing in price.

I don't get what you are saying. But that is right, you can buy anytime number of bitcoins as long as you can but you must be sure that you can afford what you invest.
Also, when you are buying, makes sure that the price of bitcoin is worth buying. There are times when bitcoin is so expensive so you need to wait for a dump, even a small dump. When you will be selling it, you must have a reason and not just because you want to sell them.

4200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 27, 2017, 03:49:28 AM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?
Since your rank is a Newbie, try to increase your activity until it reach Jr. Member in order to join signature and bounty campaigns. I think there are campaigns that allow Newbie, I'm not sure, but there are more opportunities when your rank is higher. The profit in every campaign when you finish it, is bigger depending in your rank and campaign. And after that , if you are starting to earn, you can do trading to make your returns bigger.

Signature Camapign is just one of the ways you can earn bitcoin, the truth is, this forumis just one of the forums that offers services to pay you bitcoin.
And also, there is no way that you can't earn bitcoin without investment. When you say investment, it don't always mean money but also means time and effort.
