4181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be carefull Newbies! Fake exchange promocodes scams on: August 22, 2020, 02:03:47 PM
It could be something like this?

This is a big problem not because if we try to make a search online, you can find a lot of things like these and really interesting to see especially if you are new to this kind of trick. Mostly noobs never think the risk about this but seeing this to be good to be true. No, we can argue that things as obviously scam artwork but can't stop people think an opportunity for them to earn. It is very unfortunate that they never realize it until such time that they had to lose their money.
4182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: August 22, 2020, 01:37:35 PM
All of them could be a factor of the market change but I see more for these two have a huge impact on it.
Quote
4. Companies switching to BTC as their reserve currency (just saw the first instance of it this month, I would guess more will follow with at least a few percent of their cash reserves)
5. DeFi (raising the whole market but also locking away Bitcoin for use in DeFi)

If we all come into using crypto and increases its demand, it eventually makes the price rise. $100k ain't possible but it really needs more time than we think that it boom within 2 years. Definitely, it will be surprising to see and maybe we can't witness that time to come for a chance that we have passed already before it shows.

Adoption is what we meant for but simply we can't think that it works so easily. We become optimistic with $100k and really worth to wait but I'm not sure if we all have that patience.
4183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: August 21, 2020, 02:10:47 PM
Maybe you are not consistent in checking that market chart, not even seeing for a year or two? And even you check the price since last month, you eventually know where we are now. I don't think it was not bold to see, but clearly we are moving high and is to believe that we are truly in good shape by now than of the last 2 years or even last year.

If you are in crypto space, you've probably known it. We are not yet at Bullrun but it was of big difference as you see before. It could be time to open your eyes and witness the growing market. I hope you don't miss a thing happening around, pls don't get sleep again.

4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 21, 2020, 01:41:52 PM
Anyone here heard about Chilliz and the partnerships they have been signing recently. I beleive the sport industry is going to take over the crypto space sooner or later because i see a great movement in what they are building. They have signed partnership with so many big Footbal clubs and i am so excited with what they are building.
It is so much to believe that not only in online gambling will adopt crypto but it will also be adapted to the sport industry.
The announcement has passed for several months but not hearing any development in regard to this.

https://www.eu-startups.com/2020/02/fc-barcelona-partners-with-blockchain-startup-chiliz-to-launch-a-token-for-its-fans/.
This could actually give a huge impact on the sports industry and likely to see huge adoption sooner.

If we could read this one https://usa.inquirer.net/54810/why-is-the-global-sports-industry-turning-to-blockchain-startups-like-fight-to-fame. It can say that we are moving ahead to blockchain technology and much near to crypto adoption.
4185  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: August 20, 2020, 11:52:19 PM
It is very difficult to see its development and change the looked that this country has if the leaders won't even see it and never have concerns of their people. They're such a foolish and greedy leaders who only think about their own benefits but not the whole country and their people.

*African people are most likely just a puppet from their leaders and foreign people/investors
*they have a lot of resources but never have the chance to make use and benefit from it

If they would like a change, it just started by their Leaders mindset but I can see a far from happening since the next and coming leaders will be acted the same and being influenced by the past leaders.
4186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Restaurant convert entire savings to Bitcoin on: August 20, 2020, 02:51:49 PM
How I wish the owner could be right of his decision and holds his breath to take a higher risk than keeping in the restaurant business. I'm afraid if he could be of big regrets once done and made losses after investing Bitcoin because of mishandling. Because for me, I will never gamble my business if I saw it was profiting already. I'm not sure if he thinking it wisely, having no sleep, and to come up with that decision.

But anyway, nobody sees the betterness of a thing if we never sacrifice something. Maybe he could see that investing Bitcoin will give him more than keeping his restaurant business, especially during this time.
4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi coins have turn the market into confusion on: August 19, 2020, 11:45:45 PM
The only thing that it makes confusing is that a lot of coins get hyped without knowing which one will have a long-term run or just it shut down after the owner gets what they want(money). Some investors benefited from these projects but the others suffered losses most especially for the newcomers. Hypes isn't new to us and we probably know what happens next ( dumps). people who'd come during the hypes usually leave with disappointment, this is what it happens the last Bullrun.

That is why I keep ignoring these Defi hypes because I'm not confident with it rather than sticking into Bitcoin. The potentiality that Bitcoin have its big difference from those altcoins that just being hype.
4188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting scared is useful! on: August 19, 2020, 11:02:49 PM
I love how to see people change their mindset from doubtful to believing, from fear to courage? It is everything we need to change in order to change our life as well. I know not all of us are have that courage to interact with fear in many things but we should have to make it otherwise, it could be a hindrance to our success.

If we keep ourselves being ignorant to the things around because we are fear enough to know and try it, not only scammers will attack us, it could be our self-esteem as well. And it for sure, we can't move our life status if we keep things like this. Crypto investment could be of high-risk but in the other way, it could also a learning experience.
4189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoin Cheaper on: August 18, 2020, 11:55:59 PM
I'd never find it being possible at this time since the price keeps pumping. It for sure no one will sell their Bitcoin in cheap just for you...lol

Where have you been when the price is still below $10k if you have taken that chance, definitely you have been profiting this time. If you are looking cheaper price that of the market demand these days, you have nothing to do but to wait and watch the market to dump. That is only the chance I'd see unless if there is someone would offer you a lower price.

I'd say that you missed the train already. You either to wait for the dump or to invest now. The market will turn bullish soon and investing by now it seems to be a good idea than to have regrets.
4190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 18, 2020, 11:30:14 PM
It gives me realization how important to see market developments out from getting stuck into the old one fiat money. We come into knowing that Bitcoin did a lot of things more than what we have imagined. I'd never believed this at first but I see how reliable it was and very unfortunate if we don't have to try it.

As time pass by, I mostly engage in online payment transaction and feel easy for me to use Bitcoin than having use of my credit card. I'd find it more manageable in time and being more productive compared before that it spend a lot of time just to pay household bills. I saw this innovative transformation great and a thing does not need to pass by.
4191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take for an order to complete? on: August 18, 2020, 10:42:46 PM
Hey guys.

I placed a order on an altcoin 7 days ago.
Is there no way to see how far in the queue I am? Like seeing if I'm getting my order completed soon besides from % filled?
This is on Bittrex.
Thing is, the coin is moving up and down 1 satoshi all day long for 7 days and I'm not getting my order completed..
I want to buy on 0,0000011 satoshi..and it goes from 11-12 all the time..

So basically..is there some sort of way to see kinda how far away it is for my trade to go in?

Sorry for bad english.
You can check back your buy order and tried to increase it a little bit high. One reason why it never filled up to this time is might your buying order is low than the others. By setting it up high, it could for sure it will be filled for just a few minutes. You don't just be confident enough that after having the buy or sell order could be that filled right by then, it sometimes takes long more than you expected. Constant checking at your order will help you realize where you need to improve and see's actually the trend is highly recommended than to have complaints of not getting filled.
4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian tool will make your transactions transparent on: August 18, 2020, 10:22:10 PM
I'd somehow get worried that anytime soon we already lost the anonymity feature that crypto may have. I'm not going in favor of this new tool as we can't protect our privacy anymore but just being bold enough to the community which might get abuse by scammers or even for hackers. I'm not sure how the community responded this as a good venture but most likely, they are also against it.

If their purpose is to track illegalities maybe it was acceptable but how about those who run it legally? I don't think it was a good idea, in fact, we have the blockchain record that might be enough to become traceable. I haven't thought this a fair idea but just leading this into destroying the anonymity we have.
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 03:31:40 PM
Hey.

I researched very much in the net. I read numerous comments in the blogs. I saw to much messages in the telegram groups. and discord forums

and I found that most of the people really don't know why they chose their coin/token. just they know their coin is good and the future is belongs to them.

The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)
Obviously they don't because they don't know also what they are doing. Those people having those words are those investors that they never invest in crypto instead of pretending that they are part of it. Because if actually did the investment, they surely know about the future of their investment and I believe that they come in crypto will knowledge and have their insights already what possibly it happens to their investment.

That is why I'd never trust feedback online, not I'm sure that they are investing crypto but in most cases, it happens that they just talk of what they think which is commonly out from the real scenario.
4194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin could be a scam ? on: August 18, 2020, 02:53:21 PM
Hi guys
do u think bitcoin could be a scam ? do you think bitcoin developper satoshi can decide to scam peoples
and create more supply then sell everything and dump the price to zero ?
Maybe you are over speculating the market and for Bitcoin, and to the one who created this. It is multiple times we said that Bitcoin is not a scam nor the creator Satoshi wants to scam people (as what you've badly thought). Because if that so, why this forum is still alive for more than a decade and why we are still here, for a number of forum members?

It was very unfortunate that people used the name Bitcoin to scam people and that it makes ruin the market image and those who never know about crypto, about Bitcoin will surely think negative and scam thing. But they wrong, absolutely wrong.
4195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice/ sent a crypto to wrong address on Coinbase. on: August 18, 2020, 09:33:57 AM
So no chance huh? I can’t fathom how they could not fix this. This mistake is gonna cost me $12,000. This is devastating.
We're not saying that you have no chance at all to recover your money but somehow, the chance is very slim for now since WBT is not at their list (maybe it can be listed in the future). Their support is terrible to think, they are not really responsive when it comes to this as they are tired enough to answers such the same mistake again and again. By keeping in touch with their support them might give you the luck to be responded and have their hands to help your problem. I also suggest not to get harsh with them, that is your fault, not them. So it needs to be patient, otherwise.
4196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 18, 2020, 09:06:49 AM
How the hell you can call it "one main factor" without comparing the rest of them? Don't blindly trust articles on the internet. Their methodology is flawed most of the times without adequate data or comparison to draw any reliable conclusion.
That is the problem when it comes to the internet. Some say good while the other says negative, we never know whos telling lie or saying right because they don't have enough data to prove that USD is losing its value or in the opposite.

@OP, the rise of Bitcoin price and some altcoins is not because US dollar is weakening, no they are not because it never happens that simple. We have this price spike it is because there is an increase of crypto demand, people are investing crypto these days more than a thing that they invest in local stock market.
4197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 30 sec - 5 sec chart on: August 17, 2020, 11:53:01 PM
I am looking for a bitcoin exchange/market place with 5 sec - 30 sec tradeview chart.

Does anyone know one offering that?
I'd never seen it already and it is a big punished to have the data in just seconds and have it published. Usually, we have seen minute interval and I supposed to think that would be only the lower gaps to captured. I can't imagine capturing it in seconds. I don't think that is very important because the minute market trading views it good enough to see and track the market changes.

I'd also do the searching but unfortunately, I saw nothing who offers that chart. They all just stop at hourly market chart.
4198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is the price rise on Coinbase pro different to Binance on: August 17, 2020, 11:34:15 PM
You can also find out that not only in Binance but to all exchanges. Prices may vary all the time as not all traders are of the same offer to the other exchanges, it is market behavior and you can't change it.

If you could take a look into exchanges that has a low market volume, you will surely surprise that the price out there is very low than the known exchanges. It is just how the exchanges work, it is actually a market competition and those who have a huge market volume platform is actually the one who offers a high price that traders would like to use.
4199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Updated]Grayscale to launch crypto ads on: August 17, 2020, 11:07:34 PM
As much as we hate Grayscale's crypto ad, it seems to be a very successful campaign for them as it raises to record their biggest fundraising for a week, a whopping $217 million investment.

https://twitter.com/barrysilbert/status/1294351696752185346

Really lame commercial, we don't know how much money they spend on it. But if we conclude that there massive fundraising campaign netted that much amount then we can say that is a success and it reaches more people and could have made them invest on Grayscale specially those who have big and deep pockets and seeing bullishness on the market after the pandemic.
They probably looked at that possibility and sees the money out of it. They never spend that huge amount of having no returns, of course, there should have to be with them. They are entitled to be appreciated of what they do, it is obvious that they have a (hidden) plan for this even wich they could think that they will succeed and have a profitable end.

Pretty surprising how they show up with that huge amount and not all have been expecting that. They are good at marketing strategy and it find out that it is very effective and could catch attention.
4200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project Vitalik! on: August 17, 2020, 01:35:26 PM
If you are here for the long run, it would be silly to sell ETH now, even if you bought it at sub 200 levels. I expect ETH to crush its old ATH next year and go on a path of much higher price discovery. I know that crypto "influencers" tend to overhype everything, but I think that 10K per 1 ETH at the peak of the upcoming bull run is more realistic than it may seem at the first glance.
Gonna find it unrealistic for me. Last Bullrun we only reach 1k. I don't think that it multiplies several times. It could be the whales makes some hypes but I'm not sure that they will push the price to move that high.

We've heard for the upcoming ETH 2.0 launching but not it warrants anything to make that price achievable. For now, I'd looked into $1k again, and I was already seeing it to have a big chance and realistic. Bullish could be that far as we can see by now, not even for Bitcoin but it was a good thing to see that we still able to move slowly away from getting stuck at below $200 for several months.
