do you know any coupons I could use for my order? Smiley

I also asked how often does the balance update on zenminer, since it shows 0.000 now heh

oneminer gives no coupons but offers a lower price.

the same s-3 on gawminers is 499  I can find coupons for gawminers,  but no coupon bigger then 25  so 499-25 = 474

zenminer should update about 11:30 pm eastern standard time.
41962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My pool experience with cloud zenminer dot com on: August 08, 2014, 11:44:32 AM

I posted last nites numbers. the s-3 looks good the scrypt are shakey

my first miner [s3] is activated now Smiley

I'm wondering how often do we see our earnings?
once a day?

I'v also seen the 450$ order is still active on http://oneminer.com/

has anyone used the website, is it legit?

yes it is legit  I did an order from them.  they belong to gawminers.

here is my order. I used a cc

Is it a good idea to remove heatsinks and apply new thermal paste immediately when receiving the units?

never do that.  the first thing to do is run it at freq 218  for 6-12 hours checking the numbers it gets.

if it is good at 218 go to 225 run it for 6-12 hours checking the numbers it gets.

if it is good at 225 got to 237 run it for 6-12 hours checking the numbers it gets.

do not open or mod the machine or change firmware until you know something is wrong with the machine.

if it ain't broke don't fix it!
41964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My pool experience with cloud zenminer dot com on: August 08, 2014, 03:29:25 AM
Yes and the s-3 did well again.  They had a sale on s-3's on oneminer the 449 price they sold out fast.

I am tired will post numbers in the morning.

The falcon and the gridseed were low the s-3 good.

I should get a second s-3 on line on the 8th  which is friday.
41965  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 08, 2014, 03:14:42 AM
A cx600 would be useless to over clock a s3! I need 2 cx750 to have two overclocked s3s

Why do you say that?  Have you actually run an S3 with a CX600?

Even if an OC'd S3 draws 450w at the wall, it only represents a 73% load on the CX600.

That's not really how power supplies work. Overall wattage is not the representation of how much power it can give on the 12v rail.
The cx600 has a 46A on the 12V rail, this is 552watts. That's 81.5%load without the added power draw from the wall minus efficiency of the power supply.
Seems it only comes with 2x PCI-E adaptors, so you would need molex to PCI-E or sata to PCI-E if you wanted to connect all 4.

OK...let's make this simple.  A CX500 will absolutely, positively power an S3 at stock clock ...I've been running three batch 5s for two days now - avg 438Gh/s on the CX500's (I used 5 CX500s to run five S1s previousl - they draw nearly the same AMPs as an S3)  The CX 500's are selling at Newegg.com for $29.99 after $20.00 rebate right now.

One PSU per miner means if one PSU dies, only one miner dies (not that any of my Corsair, EVGA or any other name brand PSUs have died since I started seriously mining about 5 months ago).

I don't get why y'all are buying these huge, expensive PSUs to support multiple miners...what's the point? And the next person that tells me they are buying gold or platinum PSUs because they are "more efficient", better be able to justify the additional expense vs. actual electric cost savings over 80 or so days...show me the math that proves the "more efficient" PSUs actually ROI better for our very specific scenario.
 you want math here

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-1300G2-ATX12V-120-G2-1300-XR/dp/B00COIZTZM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407467214&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+1300

cost 188   rebate 20 = 168 for 3 s-3's   or 56 for 1 s-3.

I paid 155 for mine which was 51.66 an s-1.

10 year warranty.  you get 3 years.  you pay 29.99 for your first one then 49.99 and 49.99.

your total cost 130 my total cost 168.

so after I am done with my s-1's I use it for my s-3's

 feb to july s-1's
I still have 9 plus years warranty.  These will be used for years to mine.  how long is your warranty?

I use 1 power cord.   you use 3 power cords.  I get a quality psu trick switch which means if I burn up my house I can sue them.

you use  a paper clip good luck with that in  a court of law.

hey you want cx500's cool enjoy them.

you pull how much power to run at a 237 over clock ?

 I pull 365 watts and can run 3 s-3's if I want

41966  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin difficulty may actually go down in ~7 days! on: August 08, 2014, 01:54:05 AM
bitcoinwisdoms diff algos rely heavily of the previous change. Thus early on in an adjustment period it is basically saying the diff will inc by the prev amount. Right now my models show 2% increase.

My models rock. Smiley

Next difficulty looks like 7-9% based on expected delivery.

Actual increase was 8.08%. Rock on new models.

Next predicted difficulty increase: 4-6%

And yet again I land squarely in the center of my range. 4.9

Look for a 3.5% to 5.5% increase next adjustment.

yeah these 3 to 8% jumps rock. really help with roi.

my 200 day models are

 25%  june 2013 to dec 2013

18%  dec 2013 to july 2014

we  should do 12% july 2014  to jan 2015   if btc stays at 550-650 usd
41967  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 08, 2014, 01:39:07 AM
Anyone else having issues with discarded shares? I hooked up my 2 new S3s yesterday and have 60k discarded vs 11k accepted as of this morning,

Also, One of the S3s does not show the fan speed but I can see it running. Is there an update for this?

3rd issue: One miner only mines at 415 GH/s. much lower than the advertised 440. Again, is there an update? The other one mines constant at 450 GH/s.

Thanks in advance.

Are these in stock clocks or you overclocked them? Which batch is this from?
Which Power Supply you are using and how many Antminer S3-s are connected in it?
Also post your Miner Status page here from both the S3s.
Also show your pool data by hiding the username and password.

They are stock clock from batch 5 running on 2 S3s on one Corsair RM 1000. The hash rate has come up but it's not too stable.
Any idea about discarded shares?
you can see in the second picture what I was saying about fan speed missing.

the temps are decent so  other then the fan speed meter
your miners are great  discarded shares are a meaningless stat.

the math for miner 1   hw/diffa + diffr + hw =  83/4965376+11776+83 or 83/4977235  = .000016675 x 100 = .00166 percent error rate.

accepted shares are 19396 on miner one

accepted shares are  19617 on miner two  close to the same for the same time   and the av gh = 440 and 438  which bears out to your accepted share number

the 5 second speeds are bs they move all over don't worry about them.

for shits and giggles do the error rate for miner 2

it will be about  .0333 percent  that is 99.67 good.       and 98.00 is pretty much passing.

Introduction of this project
I am a re-seller of Dragon 1T miner from china and have sent mort than 100 miners all over the world successfully. You can check the detail information here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514758.0
Then I realized that many money will lose in this way, the shipment fee for a package weighted 16kg was about 200$ via ups or DHL. and it will take at least two days to arrive and the miner won’t be able to mine for you during this time. If the miner was delayed by customs, you will not want to know how much you will lose.
thus we are trying to find a place to host miner in china, then both our company and the customer will win.

1. online time
If the miner offline for more than 3 hours, i will send you the equal amount of btc as it expected to mine based on real-time difficulty,

2. Insurance for the host miner
To ensure the people who buy host miner in my place will not lost money, we provide the following insurance
All of the host miner will have an option to resell after four month host and the price is calculated based on the following equation:
                R= I+(H*4)-(M*E)
R:   Re-sell price
I:  Initial price of host miner
H:   Host fee:225$
M:   Mined btc during the four month,
E:   Exchange ratio of btc/usd from btc-e

Here is an example for understanding:
A buyer who have bought one host miner at the price of 2900$(I), the miner switched to his/her pool on Apr 18, and host in my place for four months, and mined 6.035 btc during these time. And the real-time exchange ratio of btc/usd in btc-e on 18 Aug is 410$ . Then this buyer will have an option to re-sell the miner to us at the price of
R= I+H*4-M*E=2900+(225*4)-(6.035*410)=3800-2475=1325$
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If i have miner as hand, your miners usually will online within 1-3 hour, if all of the miner at hand are sold out and i need to buy miner from factory, it will take 48 hours to get your miner online.

Q who own the miner and can i ask the miner shipped out to my place
A: it is the buyer who own the miner and you just host in my place. You need at least host it in my place for one month, then you are free to ask me to ship it to your place. But you need cover the shipment fee.

Q: Where is the host place?
A: currently the miners are hosted in HAICHAO ROAD,GAOYOU city, JIangsu Province, and we will build a new data center soon in TAIZHOU city, JIangsu Province.
https://maps.google.com.hk/maps?q=Haichao+Road,+Gaoyou,+Yangzhou,+Jiangsu,+China&hl=en&sll=32.022631,120.875015&sspn=0.307964,0.676346&oq=haichao+road,gaoyou&brcurrent=3,0x0:0x0,0&hnear=Hai+Chao+Lu,+Gao+You+Shi,+Yangzhou,+Jiangsu,+China&t=m&z=16&iwloc=A

so I found the buyback terms.  since my 4 month time comes in 12 days.

So here they are:

Guaranty
1. online time
If the miner offline for more than 3 hours, i will send you the equal amount of btc as it expected to mine based on real-time difficulty,

2. Insurance for the host miner
To ensure the people who buy host miner in my place will not lost money, we provide the following insurance
All of the host miner will have an option to resell after four month host and the price is calculated based on the following equation:
                R= I+(H*4)-(M*E)
R:   Re-sell price
I:  Initial price of host miner
H:   Host fee:225$
M:   Mined btc during the four month,
E:   Exchange ratio of btc/usd from btc-e

Here is an example for understanding:
A buyer who have bought one host miner at the price of 2900$(I), the miner switched to his/her pool on Apr 18, and host in my place for four months, and mined 6.035 btc during these time. And the real-time exchange ratio of btc/usd in btc-e on 18 Aug is 410$ . Then this buyer will have an option to re-sell the miner to us at the price of
R= I+H*4-M*E=2900+(225*4)-(6.035*410)=3800-2475=1325$

I will get back with  the math done.

but I paid 2860 and  host fees. were 225+ 215 +  185  + (185 due) = 3670

 mined apr 20 to  apr 29 at  a diff of  6,978 ---   9  x .07214 = .64926 btc
 mined apr 29 to  may 12 at a diff of  8,000 ---  13 x .06293 = .81809
 mined may 12 to may 24 at a diff of  8,853 ---  12 x .05686 = .68232
 mined may 24 to june  5  at a diff of 10,455 --- 12 x .04815 = .57780
 mined June 5  to june 18   at a diff of 11,756 ---13 x .04282 = .55666
 mined june 18 to june 29  at a diff of  13,462 ---11 x .03740 = .41140
 mined june 29 to july  12  at a diff of 16,818 ----13 x .02993 = .38909
 mined july  12 to july 25   at a diff of 17,336 ----13 x  .02904 = .37752
 mined july  25 to aug  7   at a diff  of  18,736----13 x  .02687 = .34931

will mine aug 7 to aug 20

total = 4.81145 btc x 584 usd btc-e = 2809

so 3670 - 2809 = 861 ?  pay back if it ended today>

Now today is the 7th I have about 12 more days of mining.

So it will change a bit  .   I am posting to be sure I am close

How do you have yours powered ? Like one PSU two two units etc.

I use evga 1300 psu's they are running 2 s-3's each.  I plan to see if they will run 3 each as i will order 2 more s-3's in a day or 2.
The EVGA 1300 G2 runs 3 S3s no problem at all.

Ok, the first image is the unit I thought had high HW issues, and the second image is the unit with low HW.

Restore the stock frequency on the first one. You can even overclock it, these HW rates are nothing to worry about. Anything below 1% of DiffA is fine, and you're nowhere near that.

Edit: set up a real backup pool, you don't want downtime if btcguild goes down.

most likely you do not have an hw issue.

for a back up pool   join bitminter  very honest operator  i used him since the summer of 2012.

list him third on your list.

your error method of hw/accepted would read 256/26646  .00960744577047  x 100 or .9607 percent

the correct method is 256/6821376+9472+256 =256/6831104 or .0000374564083 x 100 or .003745 percent

while the most important number is accepted it is not used for error calculations.

you can fuck with your accepts if you set diff very low or high say 16 or 2048

on btcguild while it should be 256 or 512.

rates are drifting up.  more s-3's are shipping. maybe some sp30's

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty ----------- 19,670

http://bitcoincharts.com/ --------------------------------- 19,101

total ---------------------------------------------------------- 38,771

Avg ------------------------------------------------------------ 19,385.5

current rate ------------------------------------------------- 18,736

so 18,736 to 19,385.5  = 3.46 percent jump with about 1311 blocks to go

Word has it that Bitfury is also loading up a new massive DC too. And don't forget about all of the other big vendor-controlled DCs that continue to grow and the new private farms starting up every week.

Bitfury has great power prices they have access to very low power prices under 4 cents a kwatt.

So if they run under volted old chips that use 1 watt a gh they are still ahead of the game .

Hey how is this for a conspiracy:

Putin helps them with power because he wants global warming to accelerate .  His goal is to melt out the ice caps by 2050.  Why is that Russia is a cold weather country and stands to be much less damaged then most of the world when the icecaps melt out.

The USA realizing this is sending  3 satellites into space they will orbit in a triangle holding a 1 square mile piece of mylar film designed to shade the south pool and prevent Putin's master plan.

This will be the new James Bond Movie for summer of 2015  with huge BTC references and cause the price of BTC to drop then soar.

3 tickets please! 1 for the gf and I and another for me to see it again!
They make that movie I will send them to you fedex over nite.

and once again op has touched the weakness of BTC.  So here goes.

Software does exist that will not report a block.  Not a rumor not fake it is as real as mining itself.

It was created  by accident and truly hurt BTC Guild before it was discovered. Most likley cost me around .2-.3btc personally as I was underpaid due to the accidental with holding. Along with many other btcguild miners.

The pools have not resolved this issue no solve has been found.  The only solve is solo mine since the only person hurt by with holding is the one that found the block.

Here is the simple math  a big pool with deep pockets that has that software  can attack a small pool and hurt its luck.

Most likely this will kill bit coin in the long run.

So to the op this could be simple bad luck/variance or this could be a deep pockets pool attacking a weaker small pool.

Your only prevention is to solo mine or don't mine. Or do what I do put mining power in five pools.

back to reality next jump set to be about 5 or 6 percent.  comes in about 94 blocks or 14 hours.

we move from 18,736  to 19,700   .

why 5 or 6% jumps   pretty simple.

1)  asics are hitting a power wall seems to be .5watts a hash
2) summertime mining needs cooling
3) btc price close to 600 usd
4) a lot of borderline gear  running at 2 watts so when  you buy new power saving gear you drop the old gear off your grid.  or you undervolt it.  at one time the s-1 was 20 percent of the net work  it pulled 2 watts  so  say the 20 percent was 20ph.  now that  20 ph runs at  lower freq and lower volts say it is doing 12ph  that means 8ph was pulled off the market.

I won't say 20 percent jumps will never happen again  they will.  But only if BTC price makes it worth while.

my asic breakdowns at 200 day avg

were 25%  june 2013 to dec 2013

then 18%  dec 2013 to  july 2014

My guess is 12%  july 2014 to jan 2015

2 big  factors are btc price stays around 600

asics dont get past .5 watts a hash.

Thanks for the reply...  you were right.  It looks like there were two packages for the one tracking number.  I called USP and they acknowledged that something went wrong, but the second package is on the truck for delivery today.

Thanks again.
good.  glad you asked us and someone helped.  UPS  needs to be watched carefully they make many errors.
