422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: April 2024 recorded the lowest amount lost to hack. on: May 01, 2024, 01:44:50 AM
25.7 Mil is still huge but considering where we were in the past the number reduced drastically, is this due to the people are more aware of crypto scams and avoiding hacks by tightening the security measures?

It’s definitely the product of recent developments. This is such a good news to the crypto community of course because this means more investors managed to keep their safe at such crucial times and at the same time this promotes confidence and trust.

We can finally beat the idea that crypto is nothing but a scam ideology that the general public has. Hopefully this will cause a surge of more investors in the market.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in a newly project is worth it or not ? on: May 01, 2024, 12:39:57 AM
Please note that investing in new projects is very risky because we could lose our money very quickly if the new project we are investing in ends up being a scam or the coins are worthless.

This is why doing your own research is very important. I see some people blindly believing anything they see in social media saying he or she said this coin has potential and then immediately invest in it. It might be difficult and a bit overwhelming to decide for yourself which would be the nest coin to invest to or how much should you invest in.

Usually it’s better to invest only what you can afford so that if you lose it wouldn’t hurt your overall financial stability as much. Do not put everything of your money into one coin.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 30, 2024, 11:45:15 PM
How can you tell someone who introduce you into bitcoin investment that the risk of your funds is on him,
Obviously your money=your responsibility

Your gain=your loss
Quote
that is why is not good to force someone to join something that she don't even have any idea of,
Op clearly just suggested since she was looking for options to invest in. Op did not hold a gun to her head and forced her to invest in bitcoin.
Quote
maybe when she agreed to start bitcoin investment she's hoping that Op will refund her back the money when she lose, I think that was the main reason why she accepted when OP ask her to join in the first place.
Why would she assume that  Huh

It’s not like op is the one who owns or controls bitcoin. Maybe she isn’t well aware of how bitcoin works or maybe she is just really entitled.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: White paper evaluation on: April 30, 2024, 12:38:22 PM
I am taking orders from projects or individuals that need help with their whitepaper, pitch deck or press release writing. Add me on Telegram @ICO_Services
I think it will be much more effective if you post this in the services section and if you include some of your portfolio or the things to show your capabilities. It would also be helpful and less time consuming if you give your rates right away so people interested can immediately get down to business.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving is hours ago. Will you hold your BTC to April 2028? on: April 30, 2024, 07:04:06 AM
Of course. It's always about prioritizing saving over spending. You need to know how to properly manage your finances to be successful in life.
Honestly it’s very easy to get lost in spending when you see profits. That is something we all have to avoid and keep ourselves focused on the long term goal.
Quote
Unfortunately, current global economic uncertainty, makes it difficult to save or even invest into risky assets like Bitcoin and Gold. Most investors will be tempted to sell all of their assets to help pay off their debts. Only those that are wealthy or have a significant amount of money to waste are able to "hodl" for a long time.
This is why they say that you should only invest what you can afford to lose because if things go south you might have no choice but to take your holdings and spend them, it’s the best if you separate your money and categorize them into what you can spend, savings and investments.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: April 30, 2024, 06:35:48 AM
You're a newbie and possibly didn't know, and it's also understandable because everyone keeps mentioning the halving,

Halving is a historical event that a lot of crypto enthusiasts look forward to so it is quite impossible that op did not manage to at least encounter one post whether here in forum or in social media about it.

Personally if there is something I encounter that I am not very familiar with, I will go research further about it instead of believing whatever I already had made up on my mind especially if it concerned my money.
428  Other / Off-topic / Re: So Hot In here , advise please .. on: April 30, 2024, 05:38:56 AM
We are finally experiencing the consequences of climate change. As individuals I am afraid we can not do much from now on. The planet will keep on heating more and more if we do not act now. The government needs to focus on environmental practices that can ease the heat we are feeling.

They need to launch a lot of planting activities and provide shelter to a lot of public spaces in a form of trees. They need to minimize the waste being produced in different fields. Temporary solutions will not solve the problem. We need to start changing the way we live now if we want to protect out planet.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin season on: April 30, 2024, 05:19:55 AM
You mentioned a lot of altcoins with number of expected profits but added no information nor any detail about any of those coins. A lot of these coins I have not heard of. Maybe they will reach 15x-20x return but until when? Surely after you reach that number it will just dump

#bitcoin    won’t make you rich, you need to buy good #altcoins.

Unlike a lot of altcoins, bitcoin is much relatively stable in terms of price. Investing in newly launched altcoins is a lot riskier especially if you do not make enough research. I think that investing in both bitcoin and altcoins would be the best way to earn maximum profits.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ways to Buy and Hodl Promising Tokens for Maximum Profit. on: April 30, 2024, 03:41:49 AM
My strategy now is to hold onto my investments with passion until the market turns bullish; what about you?
That is exactly what I am doing. I have taken out my coins that have already doubled in profit during the peak of the market and took it out to put it onto stablecoins. Now I am looking for a good entry point to put my coins back in before the market experiences the bull run completely.

Quote
I'm curious to know if there are other strategies you all are employing to maximize profits from your crypto holdings

Aside from holding there are numerous ways to profit from crypto. You might want to check in for trading. Instead of just holding your coins, you basically buy low and sell high on a continuous cycle. A lot finds this to be highly profitable although a lot riskier than just holding.

Others also do mining if you have the required devices and software. Skills can be learned later on.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ionet Ignition Progam Airdrop Campaign on: April 30, 2024, 03:15:59 AM
Tips:

For Tier 1: Submit Solana wallet address on #wallet submission channel
...
I like the part where wallets are asked to be submitted.

There are lots launching projects that are trying to gain much investors even before the said listing by doing airdrops and many tend to participate as airdrops seems to be the new ‘it’ thing nowadays. If you manage to receive an airdrop that happens to have value you might as well be on to journey of becoming a millionaire  Grin

However due to the excessive amount of projects it’s a bit difficult to separate which ones are scams. We just submit our wallets and click a bunch of buttons and soon we’ll see our wallets drained.

But I see this project is just filled with very good words from participants so I am hoping that we are rewarded sweetly soon.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the real bull run begin? on: April 29, 2024, 06:59:02 PM
I have been investing in crypto since January 2022 and it is beginning to test my patience waiting for the bull run.
Mate I feel your frustration and sometimes I also feel impatient but your trust in bitcoin should ease your mind. We have to be patient or else there will be mo rewards for us.

Looking at the 2020 halving, the market didn't really start moving until 4 months later - is this likely to be the case after this recent halving too?
History repeats itself. It is not only during the 2020 halving that it took quite a while for bitcoin to sky rocket. It happened on other previous halvings as well and most likely will happen on this one too.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: April 29, 2024, 06:46:52 PM
I have heard of people doing it and then just losing its value because of inflation.
To be fair if you store your money even in a bank it would still continually lose value. The only advantage is that at least in a bank you can easily get it when needed compared to having to dug up dirt and soil first in cases of emergency.
Quote
Gold is better in that way.
Storing money into any valuable investment is always the key and best option, in my opinion.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting an MBA before starting a company or directly starting a company? on: April 29, 2024, 05:05:52 AM
By having this degree you are expected to be more advanced than those who don't have that degree.

You still need to have at least a little background knowledge so a MBA would be extremely useful albeit it is not necessarily a requirement to build a company. I know lots of businessmen who did not have educational attainment but started a business and when their business grew they decided to go and study.

The point is if you have the chance to study then I say go for it but otherwise don’t be discouraged if you can not afford to have a degree.
435  Other / Off-topic / Re: Read the Cryptocurrency Industry Report for the First Quarter of 2024 in 1 min on: April 29, 2024, 05:02:37 AM
Overall we can say that crypto has had a good run this year so far and I am confident that this is not where crypto will end. I am sure that we will see much more good news for the whole crypto community in the next following months.

The community has not stopped growing ever since and more and more people are being influenced to finally take the step and invest.
Yeah, this start of year is already great and this gives us to set the expectation that the bull run is going to be greater as it starts.
yeah i also expected something very big after this halving so I kept holding up to now and planning not to sell until I set my goal price to selling all my holding.

Quote
Halving was done and before the date of halving came, we've seen the ATH reached and crossed over and that's why it's giving that positive speculations before this year ends and for the next year to come.
this year is the waiting time , but there are lots of speculative thread that we will be seeing that 6 digits or that 100k price not this year but in 2025 , are you also agree on that mate?
436  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: April 29, 2024, 04:44:58 AM
gambling is one of the most expensive business because of the opportunity of players to win jackpot and
that will bring down the business if not taking into consideration , and yeah best developer  must be there because of being prone to hacking and security must be in put.

I think it's not necessary that you'll have to set up a huge capital on your gambling platform to pay the jackpot when someone wins. There are plenty of casinos nowadays that only uses their site to be a facilitator and when you gamble, you'll be redirected to their providers and it will be their providers that will pay the winning amount through their site, it's just similar to them making a commission of the bets. Also, if a casino offers a sports betting, oddsmakers have this algorithm that would balance the bets, so it's not really a problem if some bettors won big money because it's ensure that everything is balance and the casino will not run dry. IMO, a big portion of expenses only comes from the marketing side, because once a casino already have its gamblers, the operation will continue to be profitable.
ohh yeah , I forgot to point that mate thanks for putting it here because indeed that most casinos now stands as facilitator from game provider that they are only for marketing and the expenses from those wins comes from the game provider , thank you for this clearing mate I really forget about that.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: April 29, 2024, 03:22:30 AM
right and this is not about who is right or wrong instead who is addicted and who is not because that will save the one
and will damage the other , gambling is a luck base game and a super risky that only few percent become winner and
the majority is the loser.
How much are you willing to spend and how long are you willing to stay
With so many gamblers losing at gambling, I think this is a natural thing, because losing at gambling is a certainty that will happen. However, by responding to this defeat, in my opinion, you can see who suffered a big loss. when they can respond to defeat well, this means that when they experience defeat they do not have the desire to continue gambling again under the pretext of wanting to recover their losses. If they can handle gambling well, including the losses that will occur, it won't cause them to lose more.
and that sends us all to the attitude and self control , because how even we have learn from advises yet w are the one that will suffer from this consequences .
chasing losses is the shittest thing a gambler should do so better not to deal with that.
Quote
with those who react wrongly, such as continuing gambling again after experiencing defeat, I think people like this will experience big losses, and this can happen to those who are rich or poor. So it seems that it really depends on their approach to gambling, if you differentiate between rich and poor it seems impossible to be sure, because the rich can be addicted as well as the poor, and if they are addicted then clearly they will not stop gambling in the sense that they will be in a cycle of loss. surely.
I will never act such way because this is the only thing that will makes a gambler a complete loser.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: April 28, 2024, 10:00:13 AM
There is no other coin that can be trustworthy as bitcoin. Don’t be fooled with altcoins and be deceived with its too good to be true offers and opportunities.
Lots of projects often promise that they are going to be the next bitcoin. This should tell you a lot about just how successful bitcoin has been and how it has become the default standard of all to follow cryptocurrencies.
Quote
But still, make an extensive research prior to bitcoin investing so you will be aware of its risks and won’t make wrong decisions throughout the process.
Bitcoin is trustworthy but it still depends on you how huge or even if you’ll have any profit from investing in it.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: April 28, 2024, 08:12:50 AM
Investment in altcoins are good decisions and those will trust more in it who have gained profit from it and I think top coins should be held more while new altcoins will be not profitable if held longer.

Top altcoins like ethereum seems to not be breaking into a higher price but since they are good for long-term investments you can be rest assured that you won’t be exactly losing a lot of money compared to new altcoins wherein rugpull is very prevalent. If you want to take advantage of that better to quickly sell ahead of everyone else maximizing your profit.
440  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: April 28, 2024, 06:11:16 AM
Marketing requires wisdom and strategy, we cannot go into making an advert without having our first target plan on how to execute such, we need time and strategy in making an effective crypto casino marketing plan,
actually what needs more on capital and that is what we have to gather before considering opening a gambling business , that is the main thing here and next to what we have to believe will happen.

Quote
it is not some thing we can start with and have nothing to show in doing it, that is why we must have a target and also work on achieving those targets one after the other in stages, the intention for making themselves is to attract a global recognition to the use of the casino for gambling.
and of course we must have understanding and deep knowledge about system because gambling site is prone to hacking and other bad elements.

We needed to have enough capital when considering having a gambling casino as been said earlier, also we may also have to understand the little aspect of the risk involved in having one because we are prone to attack in any form except if we are able to build a strong team that can fight back against any attempt on that,
gambling is one of the most expensive business because of the opportunity of players to win jackpot and
that will bring down the business if not taking into consideration , and yeah best developer  must be there because of being prone to hacking and security must be in put.

Quote
these and many more are to be in consideration before establishing a gambling casino and the gamblers will look in for them, not to talk of the funds required in marketing the platform.
when you have enough capital nothing is impossible , and we have seen that in many casino here and there.
