I've been poking around on the "new" Paycoin site and have to assume that the Build-a-Business Challenge is going to be the "next thing" GAW rolls out to continue to prop up their scam. Josh Garza could be your personal business mentor, you could get a "major award" as well as 100K in funds (XPY, anyone?) to help you start a business on top of a ponzi scam!

They continue to keep changing logos and fonts -- I'm appalled at the amateur hour we're all getting to watch unfold. The kerning on that skinny ass font looks like something out of MS Publisher. Good grief.

Hey guys I saw the posts on hashtalk and reddit and I think you're making Josh Garza sad by being mean to him. Did you know that he thinks you're all meanie poopooheads??
We know, we know. He just needs a juice box and a nap.

Bottom line though, it does not matter as I do not see any difference in operation form my units, just curious now that I see you do not have any either.
I'm under the impression he was being sarcastic.... Oh no, I know he was and I am by no means knocking my SP20 units. I am really curious now what are the differences between the type of errors. I dug around before but could not find any information about the main page errors. Right on, I wasn't trying to be an ass. I should have thrown a ;-) in there to be safe--carry on!

Threats and bringing family into the mix is not cool. I hope the authorities track down anyone who has threatened weasel boy and they end up behind bars with him. That being said WE ALL have a dog in this fight. The damage being done to the cryptocommunity may be reaching a tipping point.
I don't agree that we really have a dog in this fight. The amount of ill will being generated IRL by Paycoin is negligible when compared to the effort of companies and entrepreneurs building the BTC core and BTC related services. Paycoin is going to wash up publicly soon, even if the coin itself is shuffled off to penny day traders when it's all over. In my opinion it's a blip on the radar and not worth much of our attention. Josh Garza is also worth none of our attention at this point, the momentum here will carry him on the rest of his journey. Seems like he and his ventures are getting a lot of attention and that is what I am talking about. He's getting attention of the crypto industry, but I promise very few of the people hearing more about Bitcoin every day have ever heard of "Paycoin." Maybe if they poked around on Reddit yesterday, but it's mostly off the front page right now. People will hear about this mess, but it's going to be an order of magnitude less damaging to the community than was Mt. Gox. That's just my opinion, man, I'm not even really arguing with you!

I ask one thing and one thing only please stop the stupid threats of violence and the posting of pictures of Josh's family, as much as you might hate GAW and Josh these things are just not right.
Agreed. Making threats to someone's family makes this community look like idiots, and while some of us are idiots, let's not do our best to point it out to the rest of the world. Some of you may still have a dog in this fight, most of us do not. That said, let's do our best to be on our best behavior. When this thing (inevitably, in my mind) blows up don't you think the mess will draw all forms of attention to this thread in particular? Do you want to be that guy that's spewing hate, or would you rather be seen as a moderate voice? I know that "we're here" for all intents and purposes to keep more people from getting scammed but let's keep it f'n civil, shall we?

I paid on 12/18 and my units were shipped on 12/23. They spent some time with customs in Tel Aviv, then customs in Cincinatti. They made it to Dallas Monday, but my delivery driver decided to take them off the truck and delay delivery for Tuesday. Someone else at the distribution hub then accidentally sent them back to Cincinnati, where they sit on hold right now. Due to the holidays, I don't expect to receive anything until next week. DHL has done this to me before and I have lost confidence in their US operations.
Mine are also apparently stuck in customs in Cincinnati. I suppose there is nothing we can do about it but wait.

So what could it run if the room is about -30C or lower?
Just curious, how do you manage that temperature?

"When the coin opens to the public on Jan. 2 with what Mr. Garza says will be an anticipated market capitalization of $250 million, the company will partly back that with a store of fiat currency worth around $100 million."

Neat! I'm glad the Internet has a copy of that....

These off the wall hate posts are so over the top it makes me wonder if they are not actually some sick Cointelpro from the GAW camp to discredit what is being said here in this thread. After all, GAW does not have a leg to stand on when it comes to facts, so the best they can really do is try to discredit the messenger. Plain old mounds of useless bullshit posts from obvious shills was not getting the job done to hide the truth being exposed here. Is it coincidental that out of the blue our crippled reporter who is obviously a GAW shill of some sort (knowing or unknowing) shows up in this thread at the same time someone who seems like he was scientifically designed to attack him in the most vulgar manner possible? I smell a rat. The kind of a filthy smirking rat that would stoop as low as something like this so he could shield himself and continue a scam.
Food for thought gentleman, I bid you all goodnight.
Cheers, Mr. Revere--it's always a pleasure. You summarized exactly what's happening here nicely. GAW and crew know exactly what's happening over here, and will spend as many resources as they can spare to make us look like "trolls" or "haters." Fortunately for us the Internet has a long, long memory. Homero knows it's coming and is starting to get worried about everything he backpedaled on. I feel shitty for the people that got conned, but this has been an interesting show to watch. It's a shame it's coming to an end.

I think a better analogy is what if "1 million people" were in a burning tacobell all rushing for the exit at the same time. Few will escape, some will get burned, & most will die. Taco Bell tacos is actually a great analogy for paycoin2... Those taco's may not be exactly meaty, but at least they aren't locked up in "Tacotakers" for the next few months....
