421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 11, 2018, 07:16:25 AM
Hi Forum
I would like to know what real value you think HODLing adds. What is the point of just holding bitcoin till moon and lambo ? This is cryptocurrency, why aren't we using this as currency? If we all just hold then this whole thing takes on a completely different business model, we lose all real value that it has as currency and it just becomes a full on speculative bubble.

Bitcoin and other currencies have no value if nobody uses them. So I would like to encourage everyone to spend and replace instead of just blindly holding. We won't see merchant adoption skyrocketing if nobody buys stuff with bitcoin. And yes I know it can go up in value, but why not just spend your BTC and EFT some fiat over to your local exchange and replace the BTC you spent ?
If any businesses accept BTC or other currencies it is our duty to support them extra for it and use cryptocurrency.

Holding is always the best thing to do when there is a huge dump in the market of prices because most of the new traders are selling their coins at the lowest price because they are scared to lose more profit but they did not notice that they will just lose their investment since the prices in the market will still go back to normal.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 year old girl with 300 bitcoin, still in a pity situation. on: April 11, 2018, 07:11:06 AM
Met a girl who has been working on a restaurant for mere 200$ a month with some tips in hand. On a conversation she started to elaborate about her life and in between the conversation turned towards cryptocurrency. By the time, she stated she has got 300 bitcoin in her wallet. While the price was around $10 she has given it to her Sister to keep hold of it and keep it secure. Her sister has made use of it and invested into lot of properties. Now when asked about the bitcoin, she shows bare hands. Now she was unable to do anything, and surviving with the $200+ salary per month. Don't you feel pity, it really hurts on hearing the tearful words coming out from her.

You cannot do anything about that because bitcoins is not really famous back in the years before and now it was just starting to gain its popularity day by day and the girl was unlucky to have no faith on the growth of cryptocurrency.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: April 11, 2018, 07:09:20 AM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink

Bitcoin is an asset before when no one is really interested on investing in it because the price is very low in the market but no one really expected that the value of bitcoins in the market today will surpass $10k and most of the online stores are using bitcoins as payment for anything they want to purchase and we can call it now as a currency.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 07:07:51 AM
Hello there... I am from India, and Bitcoin is still in the grey area here. It is not legal, but it has not been declared illegal either. But the government has explicitly stated that Bitcoin is not recognized as a legal currency here.

The government is still working on deciding a framework for it, but we have absolutely no idea about what its verdict will be. So, people here are trading in Bitcoin for short-term gains. Make hay while the sun shines!

How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin and what's its position in your country?

Government do really hate bitcoins because their industry is affecting negatively and more of the complains are coming from banks because most of the people are preferring to invest their money on cryptocurrency more than placing their money on banks.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: April 11, 2018, 07:02:06 AM
Good day as I am new to the crypto world What is really the way to make $ in in crypto ? such as Bitcoin or other coins?

I understand as i have some invested. in my wallets the values go up and down, so you can cash out or sell when value up?

do you just buy and sell currency as the markets move up and down? or what other ways to make $ with crypto?
do you transfer bitcoin over to other websites etc?

or what should i be focusing on? thanks

just like to know what all the experts do?

There are bounty campaigns here in this forum and that is the best way to start making money when you have no capital on investing immediately in the market so there is always way for a newbie to earn cryptocurrency.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: April 11, 2018, 06:59:10 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

Bitcoin can be the new era of currency and if government will just allow cryptocurrency on every country they are handling then there is a huge chance that most of the people will use bitcoins for their daily needs.
427  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: April 10, 2018, 09:49:21 PM
I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?

Bitcoins will never die because of the people who are keep on investing in the market and because of that we can assure that the price of bitcoins will grow even more in the future since there are a lot of people already who spend a huge amount of their capital in order to earn cryptocurrency they are interested in the market.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 10, 2018, 09:46:28 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

The dream of getting rich with cryptocurrency is really possible because there are already wealthy gentleman today who invest a huge amount of bitcoins before when it was in $13 dollar and now they become an instant millionaire when the price of bitcoins has reached $19k.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: April 10, 2018, 09:43:00 PM
What do you think are the effects of btc in your country? Because in my country it thus not affect the economy of ours. Share yours.

Country has different industries but i believe that bitcoins can improve the economy of a country depending on the government on how they are going to look on bitcoins just like japan that is using bitcoins and other cryptocurrency in order for them to improve their own economy.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: April 10, 2018, 09:40:35 PM
Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit. Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?

They do not believe about cryptorruency because there are also governments and people who are creating fake news about cryptocurrency telling that bitcoins is a scam but if they just know how altcoins and other cryptocurrency rotate's in the market then they will surely realize that cryptocurrency is very profitable.

A beginner's guide to bitcoin

http://www.coindesk.com/information/

 Bitcoin is Freedom
 ---------------------

Bitcoin is Freedom from oppression, exploitation & tyranny by Banksters.

From cradle to grave we have all been financial debt slaves through the debt based fiat currency schemes that should have long ago been outlawed.

Bitcoin offers People an avenue of Safe Haven that assures a fiscally disciplined currency.

Bitcoin is vastly superior to traditional fiat currency schemes.

Bitcoin brings all Peoples Freedom by forcing Decentralized Monetary Competition, and by doing that it will eventually force governments to become fiscally disciplined with their monetary matters, or suffer monetary failures repeatedly until they do.

Bitcoin will ultimately free governments from their Bankster Masters (each countries Central Bank) when governments finally re-learn to print and issue their own debt-free currencies, while abolishing their existing Central Banks powers and controls over them. This will hopefully occur as the present system fails and governments finally realize they hold all the cards, not the Banksters.

So simply put:

 Bitcoin is Freedom
 ---------------------

Smiley

Bitcoin is freedom for those people who work on the corporate world because cryptocurrency is giving opportunities for different people to grow their lives and make money for living through trading in the market.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2018, 09:27:48 PM
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen is launching a cryptocurrency in his own name, joining other famous sportsmen including Manny Pacquiao in a new venture to connect with fans.

The retired England star announced Wednesday his investment in the Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) as he unveiled the “Owen Coin”.

Could this be a booster to cryptocurrency because these celebrities have big influence world wide and could invariably canvass more support for cryptocurrency.

Manny Pacquiao invest on cryptocurrency and planning to create his own coin, i hope that the price of his coin will grow and surpass bitcoins because i believe that he has a huge amount of capital for his coin not to go dump in the market.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: April 04, 2018, 04:22:08 AM
We all know that involving in bitcoin it takes your time and also money. Is it worthy to risk your time and money because of bitcoin?

Yes it is, because you are earning profit and that is the reason why people is keep on investing every time they have a spare money and the volatility of the market that every trader wants, because in this way they can hoard a huge amount of coins if people are panicking.
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: April 01, 2018, 01:00:40 AM
Hello my dear Bitcoin brothers.

I would like to ask you about your experience with day/swing trading vs. long term investing and also,
what was more profitable for you and what are pros and cons for both ways of trading?

This question interests me since market is very volatile and it can get quite easy to exploit daily range for a quick small profit.

Thank you fellas.

Long term and short term investments are not comparable because there are specific coins that has different potential and prices on the market, the best coin to invest is bitcoins because the growth is fast but since it was very good enough for you to earn profit then the price is also expensive so basically, you should invest on a coin that suits your capital in order to earn profit.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin will end soon? on: April 01, 2018, 12:56:26 AM
As you can see from the last couple of months price of bitcoin going down and down..
Is this the beginning of the end?

Bitcoin will never end and those professional analyst of cryptocurrency are investing a huge amount today because the market price is very low. Do not think of red days in the market as bad because it gives every people the opportunity to invest while the prices are low.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: April 01, 2018, 12:49:12 AM
If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.

I think that government will not allow for every people to use just a single currency because there will be complications in the system like how the poor countries can keep up on the currency if their business and economy is not good enough to supply the amount of fiat of every country.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 12:47:51 AM
Many of us here are hoping to be successful miners/campaigners or anything realated to BTCitcoin. Some people succeed many people failed. With that said, what are the biggest changes in your life since you started bitcoin? I hope these will inspire other people so that we too can be successful. Thank you very much!

It was really hard to travel while you are working on the corporate world so i prefer on trading in the market, it started when i was in college then my friend introduce me to this site where you can work on ico's to earn cryptocurrency and starting in that day i focus all my time to promote and advertise different ico's.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: April 01, 2018, 12:38:28 AM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.

We do not need regulations because the security of every legitimate wallets on the market today is really good in terms of securing the cryptocurrency you have invested and the reason why people is switching to cryptocurrency is that, they do not want government to steal their money from taxes, but still we are paying taxes through transaction fee's so it was still a good amount of bargain and cryptocurrency should not be banned because it is not illegal.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: April 01, 2018, 12:32:32 AM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

Bitcoins will be useless if the price is not volatile, the reason why most of the people are investing on cryptocurrency is its volatility that is really good and makes every people wealthy from trading in the market.
440  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 12:31:48 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"

I always hold my coins and never spend them till the price in the market increase and when the price of bitcoins is already in my desired value then that is the time where i will be going to cash out some of my coins and invest into another business.
