421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Free LiteCoin Mining - Get 0.003 LiteCoin Per Day Free on: August 31, 2017, 03:42:16 AM
Ya after thinking twice, this is obviously a scam. How can you earn back your payment in just 5 days?

Testing out the free version isn't hurting anyone. Let's see how that goes. Let's see if they payout. I'll stick with the free payouts for life to avoid any issues. How is that risky?

Any Litecoin wallet address. So yes to Bittrex. Any exchange with a Litecoin wallet too. I included litevault just in case some users didn't have a Litecoin wallet.

The "Mining" section of this forum, the section we are in now, has everything you need. There will be threads that have been started by other members that will outline the process for you. All you would need to do is locate some or 1 of those threads and begin working. Good luck with your Mining efforts.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining... advice please... on: August 30, 2017, 03:39:49 PM
If you don't have the funds to build out your own mining operation why don't you try cloud Mining? I use Genesis Mining as well as others but consider Genesis to be the best. The URL is http://www.genesis-mining.com and you can use this promo code to get 3% off "ZOHNkL".
426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Tutorial on: August 30, 2017, 02:33:43 PM
Hello

Does somebody know a good tutorial or site where I can learn about mining and how it works?
The pages I've found are either explaining it in a very basic way or they are getting too specific.
I have an IT background and I would really like to learn how the process exactly works.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Swoop. Just wanted to say welcome to the CryptoUniverse. Since you are an IT person you will have an easier time than most figuring things out. I know that when I first saw "MH/S" I was like, "what the heck is this?" Now I'm pretty well versed in crypto. Still much more to learn but I've came a long way. I know your question was about resources related to mining however I just wanted to give you a bit of encouragement. For me, I kept reading posts on this board, did a lot of Googling and watching videos on YouTube about mining. This forum and YouTube had been the biggest help for me.
427  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit bitcoin mining company on: August 30, 2017, 11:02:30 AM
I'm newbie here,Are there any legit bitcoin mining company or basically most of them are just scam.

I think the word "scam" gets thrown around too loosely these days but to answer your questions, no, legit mining companies are not scams. There are some HYIP sites that proclaim they are using mining as a means for everyone who invests makes money but a real mining operation is not a scam. Some HYiP sites that proclaim they mine can be. Some of the better cloud Mining companies are Genesis Mining, HashFlare, Hashing24 and NiceHash.

429  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Rumor: Bitmain S9++ (75 Th/s, 1200w) on: August 30, 2017, 03:55:39 AM
Anyone heard about this yet?  Is it real?

75 Th/s - 1200w - $3000 USD

I would like to know that too. 75TH/S would be a major upgrade over the S9. 3 times.
430  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: friggin S9's..... on: August 30, 2017, 03:53:29 AM
So I flashed my S9's this morning with the latest firmware from Bitmaintech. Now they are LOUDER than they used to be! Both fans running at 4200 RPM rather than one at around 2200 and the other around 3600 like they used to. UGH!
Was wondering if any has tried using 120mm --> 140mm fan adapters and getting larger fans with the same or higher pressure ratings but run WAY quieter? These things are going to dive me nuts.  Angry

Thanks!

i think you are stuck either way. the sucka's are loud as heck for sure.
431  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it possible to build a BTC miner? on: August 30, 2017, 03:52:27 AM
Hello,

I'm new to bitcoin & the forums. I've been searching for this in the forums, but no luck yet. I've been wondering is it possible to build a modern miner scratch from parts? And if so, how difficult & what would costs be?

Thanks for you help.

of course it is and it may be cheaper to build your own. the difficulty will be based on the person's technical ability or ability to learn new technology quickly or the ability to follow instructions for things they never built before. I would expect the cost to be lower just like it would be to build your own computer however I could be wrong since I never built a miner before.

433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to win free Bitcoins in a short time ??? on: August 30, 2017, 03:18:06 AM
Hello to you.
What are the best sites to win free Bitcoins in less than 60 minutes of time ??
I already know https://freebitco.in/ but to win Satoshi, you have to wait every hour (1 hour) of time. It is too long.
Are there other serious sites that give Bitcoins in less than 60 minutes ??

Thanks in advance for giving me these sites there.

Bitcoin faucets are a waste of time. You can't earn much with them.
434  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to mine BTC on iphone ? on: August 29, 2017, 09:04:10 PM
OMG. Im confused. People who want to mine with their phones, read some information about mining first!

We shouldn't be so hard on them. I am sure we knew very little about mining at one time. Being lazy about answers to questions is the real crime. If someone wants to learn about crypto and mining they should have at least conducted their own research to know this is a lost cause.
435  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to mine BTC on iphone ? on: August 29, 2017, 09:02:15 PM
Hi BTT Friends

i want to know that can i mine BTC on my iphone?
if yes then pls guide me. i want to mine it.

also want to know if anyother curypto is minable on iphone.

Thanks

You are absolutely wasting your time trying to mine on an iPhone or any smart phone for that later. You will probably earn about 10 cents per month and your data will go through the roof.

I like Genesis Mining contrary to what others may say. I get my payouts on time and I don't have any issues.
437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A real Question about Wallets on: August 29, 2017, 06:55:32 PM
So, this has been rounding my mind for since i started to believe in crypto.

I there exists plenty of wallets and various types, but this is a questions focus on trading wallets, and dealing with exchanges.
What happen when you are not using a wallet provided by the exchange (eg. Bittrex), but then you want to sell a coin the coin ASAP so you dont miss the peak.

HELP!

You have to transfer the funds to the exchange that has the coins you want to buy. If you wait for the last minute you may not get your funds onto the exchange quick enough to get the new coin at a lower price. Remember, the transaction will need several confirmations before the transaction is considered complete and the funds exist to be able to purchase another coin.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you give me Newbie tips and questions on: August 29, 2017, 06:48:07 PM
Can someone give tips of the things that I should be aware of in the future?

What wallet I need to use can you give wallets? that you used back than when you where started here

Offline paper or Hardware wallets are the best wallets to use. The fact that they are offline gives them some added security versus an online or online mobile wallet or payment app.
439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a beginner how to invest in Bitcoins easily and safe? What marketplace? on: August 29, 2017, 06:32:33 PM
You need to get an account with a bitcoin exchange to buy your coins. There are ones such as Kraken, Bittrexx and Coinbase. If you decide to go with Coinbase use this link and you will get $10 in free bitcoin if you deposit $100: https://www.coinbase.com/join/59750d034d3af202774f6d1e

Once you have purchased your coins it's preferable to move them to a wallet. Better off with an offline paper or Hardware wallet for added security.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: paypal chargeback questions and and would this prevent it? on: August 29, 2017, 06:28:09 PM
I just curious guys let sat i sell 100 dollars worth of bitcoin and now  have 100 dollars  in the account .I transfer that 100 to another paypal  account of mine nothing to link the 2 accounts both different name email addresses .A charge back happens. There now no money in the frist account .Will paypal take the money out of the second account ?How many accounts will payapl track the money two and will they do a chargeback on each account? Are  will they leave it at the first account with -100 which i never instead to pay those fuckers back they can be left holding the bag .Yeah your out bitcoin and money while paypal and the scammer is siting pretty hell with that  .Trying to think of ways around it .Wonder would this work Huh

Sorry to hear about your issue with PayPal. Sometimes it hard dealing with buyers online and then having to use PayPal as a payment processor because it's so common online and then you get a scumbag customer who knows that PP will side with the buyer most of the time. Sometimes you just have to chalk it up to doing business as usual.
