I can assure you that no one is getting paid to spam this project. As a large holder in Spectrecoin for sometime now I have actually offered to pay people to make educational videos on this thread and have yet to receive any offers:

Our community continues to grow at a very rapid pace and is strictly grassroots marketing from a diverse group genuinely interested in the potential of this project. I advise you all to join.

Wow, this coin will add Tor support to its wallet, good future for this coin, and the price goes to normal as usual.

I have already sold all my coin to the market for only 6000satoshi, the price won't go back to normal.

'Normal'  Roll Eyes

430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Withdrawal for Canadians on: December 31, 2017, 01:55:43 AM
Hello guys! I will need to withdraw high amounts like 10,000$ + to my Canadian bank account, I'm just wondering which website is the best to do?

I've been using https://www.canadianbitcoins.com/ but their withdrawal limit is about 3000$ which is too low.

Thanks! Smiley

Any chance of masternodes in this coins future?

No, masternodes are centralized and go against every privacy aspect behind this project. You can stake with any amount  Cool
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spectrecoin Introduces 'Stealth Address Staking' - An Innovation in Privacy on: December 29, 2017, 07:21:51 PM
@Trofo

Less than a month ago everyone was complaining about the opposite with marketing. This project has been actively developed for a year sitting well below 0.50 USD. Whether you like it or not, the aggressive marketing got your attention otherwise you would've purchased at the less than $0.50 USD price its been sitting at for well over a year. And with how our tech sits revenant to other privacy based cryptocurrencies, a little 'aggression' was certainly necessary but not in the form of a signature campaign as Deep Onion has. This is strictly community driven. No hard feelings.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spectrecoin Introduces 'Stealth Address Staking' - An Innovation in Privacy on: December 29, 2017, 01:06:44 PM
What is a concern to me is that all these newbie accounts created to spam this forum with Spectrecoin, snip...

This exactly. There is a user I don't remember the name that has put the same Spectrecoin post across half the topics I am watching. And I even received PM about it form some newbie. To me that is clear spamming and I choose not to be part of that community. The same goes for Deep Onion.

The coin looks good on paper and private coins are very popular at the moment and if there wasn't such aggressive marketing I would have already invested in it.

Thats terrible investment advice.

And Spectrecoin has every feature DeepOnion has and many more. Nor does the Dev control the majority supply. Don't compare the two.

Spamming by definition is:

irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients.

I see the content here both relevant on a cryptocurrency forum and certainly profitable had you followed the 'Spam' you've received. This is grassroots community driven marketing. We aren't sock puppets and its a beautiful thing.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spectrecoin Introduces 'Stealth Address Staking' - An Innovation in Privacy on: December 28, 2017, 09:09:48 PM
What is a concern to me is that all these newbie accounts created to spam this forum with Spectrecoin, I don't see anything new that this coin is introducing that other coins don't have, there is a reason why the coin as a relatively low marketcap because no one is using, and I believe come 2018 most of these coin will be surprised because they will be outdated

The thread title in itself is exactly why Spectrecoin is significantly different from any POS cryptocurrency. Furthermore, no other cryptocurrency has the OBSF4 security which has already been implemented. Please read my post for the sake of a community that is based solely on grass roots marketing. Based on the facts, you are incorrect. I really don't mean to come off as rude here.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Spectrecoin Introduces 'Stealth Address Staking' - An Innovation in Privacy on: December 28, 2017, 04:22:41 PM
Potentially regarded as the most undervalued ICO in history which now ranks 3rd in ROI having just passed Ethereum is Spectrecoin. When it comes to the supply production and privacy, mining facilities are hard to silence your electricity bill or the physical presence of your hardware. Spectrecoin has been private from the beginning, an ICO where funds were sent through stealth addresses and trusted escrow (OG Nasty - ‘the treasurer of Bitcointalk), which failed to raise enough funds to support development. A very welcoming, diverse and enthusiastic community has now tripled down to support development with a soon to be released wallet that will allow a staking for development donation slider. Now that distribution has remained private, this will now continue with the supply production of staking inflation.

Spectrecoin has already implemented obfuscation (OBSF4) into the wallet allowing the wallet to run without trace in TOR blocked regions (China, Iran, Saudi Arabia) and has recently announced via roadmap for early Q2 2018 that stealth addresses will become the default staking addresses. This innovation is quite mind boggling. Both the rich-list and the blockchain (which are already inaccurate), will become completely obsolete as we will know the supply production in circulation but will have no idea where the staking supply majority is coming from. This innovation will make history in cryptocurrency.

If you’re wondering where to pick this coin up, regardless of trading volumes over 500,000 USD per day, this coin will likely never see a listing on any centralized exchange that requires identification to make any withdrawal as it completely contradicts the primary purpose for this project to become the most anonymous cryptocurrency of all time.

Please join us on slack for any questions and inquires @jbg is lead developer behind the project. Jbg is extremely transparent when answering tech related questions on the spot. Discord has made a serious push in the last few weeks for marketing and will continue to do so.

Contact me @vvc in any of these channels and I will pay you in Spectrecoin for delivery of educational videos if you genuinely believe in this project and have something to deliver.

Please discuss any innovations in POS privacy focused currencies relevant to this subject. If you are a Monero fan, most of us are too, but a truly deflationary cryptocurrency needs to back a cryptocurrency subject to inflation to parallel lost supply and population growth. The two can coexist.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XSPEC Spectrecoin - IS THIS 100% scam or what? AVOID on: December 21, 2017, 03:43:21 PM

This is not a get rich quick pump and dump POW coin, this is a long term project that has and will continue to try to produce some of the best innovation in privacy that crypto has even seen. It's a shame that you won't be a part of it.

How do you dole out staking rewards and maintain privacy? That seems like an impossible trick.

EXACTLY, and this is a very good question. What people don't realize is that stealth addresses are on route to becoming the default staking addresses. So we will know the amount in circulation but will have no idea where the supply is coming from. For all we will know one address could be staking 99% of the coins. This feature is not on our roadmap, but the cryptography behind this has been confirmed and will be implemented in Q1 2018. No other cryptocurrency has done this. Please come into slack and ask @jbg this exact question. It is a very significant concept that is tough to wrap your head around.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Spectrecoin predictions on: December 21, 2017, 03:30:37 PM
Until about a week ago Spectrecoin had near bottomed out in price and has passed its one year anniversary proving that it is so anonymous that no one has heard of it. This coin is powered only by community funding as the ICO raised less then enough to pay one semesters tuition at an American Colleges and at an 86 Satts ICO price, it still ranks 5th in ROI amongst all ICO’s in history. What keeps this diverse cult of a community going is a lot something very intriguing. Spectrecoin development has confirmed the cryptography behind releasing untraceable staking in Q1 2018. Therefore, when looking at the current Spectrecoin blockchain, the public addresses, along with the richest will become default stealth addresses. This means staking will be untraceable, and not recorded on the blockchain. Therefore, we will have no idea where the supply is coming from, just the amount that exists in circulation. Picture this as physical cash, we know how much has been printed, (in an ideal world of course) yet we have no idea where it is, just how much exists in circulation. Taking this to an even further level, we will not know which addresses are heavily staking the majority production. Therefore for all we know, one address could be staking 99% of the Spectrecoin and no one would have any idea.

MUHAHAHAHAHA

Long Live Spectrecoin

How could you say you are the most secure coin when you have to sign up your identity to participate in your ICO? How can you say you are more transparent when you have not published Github repositories? Look at how Spectrecoin used trusted escrow and stealth transactions as distribution method and take notes if you claim to be "the worlds most secure coin." You blatantly forked our coin prior to many bug fixes and claimed it to be your own.

Any idiot who invested in this coin is buying Spectrecoin without its updates at a much higher rate.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best anonymous coin to buy for long term? on: November 19, 2017, 11:45:04 AM
Have you guys heard of TokenPay? Looks very interesting and if they can pull it off this can be really big. They say they are the worlds most secure coin. Check out ANN here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2400499.0;all

Spectrecoin has all those features, and more. That is why they did not incorporate Spectrecoin into that chart.
