Reading the Reddit feed made me highly suspicious of some of the people shouting scam.

These people had allegedly collected the minimal withdrawal amounts of the various CoinPot coins in a very short space of time.

How did they do this legitimately I wonder? I certainly don't see how this would be possible in the time frames/bonuses figures they've quoted.

Sounds like they weren't playing fair and their withdrawals got stopped. What did they expect?

Proably scamming referrals? Ora having huge amount of referrals? Just search on twitter "coinpot", a couple of accounts will popup but they're not official accounts, they use coinpot's logo but they are just used to spam referrarls by fishy users.

I admire a service like this, whereas the web and crypto is full of shitty websites and services trying to fool you with insanely huge withdrawal thresholds or silly games such as btcheat who almost fooled me once.

The work behind coinpot must be huge, many sites, many coins, many users to keep up with. If it's only one person behind all this, chapeau.

You need to send 0 PoS to yourself. For gas limit use ethgasstation. If you tried with 5-10 at the moment I am writing this your transaction would probably fail. At the moment you need more than 40 gwei for gas. I remember the good days when I minted with 1 gwei Smiley

I did my first 4-5 mints with 0.01 gwei and they went through fast without any issues... ah good ol' times now gone, thanks kitties and birds  Angry
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: January 05, 2018, 08:59:22 AM
Unfortunately I met IntenseCoin today, but luckily I knew it in time, I can not miss the chance to see this coin being requested by people, apparently the mining CPU is no longer interesting, what could it be? Why have prices lost half the value in the last few days?

Because we have passed round 2 of 4 of the signature bounty payouts and 400'000 ITNS have been paid to those who fullfilled the requirements. Many of them unfortuntaley, I'd say, not blessed by some basic long term trading strategy, decided to dump their coins at so low price just to make a small profit in order maybe to put some gasoline in their motorbike, that's why price suffered a dip. But where dark occurs, even a small spark of light is more appreciated, so I'd say nice opportunity for those who get to know this coin late to stock some at a discounted price.

I get 1700+Doge every day from investing on Yobit
-removed-
from investing in yobit you get 1700 doge every day? Looks like a joke.
But it sounds pretty interesting. can you tell me how you do it? I also want to get 1700 doge every day  Grin

What it looks real is that he's promoting some kind of referral link in his twitter status indeed  Grin
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ZOIN---Zerocoin Protocol NEW TEAM-NO PREMINE-NO ICO---ZOIN on: January 05, 2018, 07:42:36 AM

Go to slack.zoinofficial.com and #voting and vote!
Imagine that you are walking down the street, met an advertising agent that interests you. You ask to talk about the product, and it answers "not here, go here at this address - there you will learn everything!".
You will go? me not.
Learn to respect the newcomers and respect their desires, do not tell them where to go and what to do, help them. They want to see and receive information in their usual way, so the forum helps to keep the chronology of events that adds credibility to the project!

If you send everyone to the slack, you will lose potential investors.
1) Many trust this forum and look for information here.
2) Promotion should begin with an active discussion here on the forum. This topic should be on the front page.

Until you understand this, you will sit in your slack and talk to yourself, without new investors.

Start spreading the information, discussion ...

Those are good points indeed, but the voting system is not doable in practice in a thread. In slack there is a widget/tool that let handle the votes and automatically calculates the percentages. I think it would be very difficult to make it here, a poll maybe is the closest solution for doing that but it would require a new thread, I don't know if it would be acceptable to use the forum for these kind of internal mechanics!

By the way in a general way, your observation on the importance to bring stuff and news on the forum is totally true. Much is going on under the hood with this coin and it's true that the fact it's not getting discussed here is a pity since this coin saw a price rise in the last two weeks from ~1000 satoshis to ~22'000 satoshis to assest at ~15'000 satoshis and it wasn't due to some strategical planned pump but was totally spontaneous.

my balance information at bitfun, bonusbitcoin and moonbit return to 59k .. but in coinpot still 24k ...

Uhm, it's correct for me. I can read same balance on coinpot's bitcoin core and on moonbit, bitfun and bonusbit. Strange. Do you use the coinpot's email addresses on moonbit to login or a wallet address?

my moonbit balance today
...

remove that pic link, your email addr is visible there.

Sorry I can't suggest anything with the issue, you have to write to the support and hope that the admin will read it and fix it, sorry.

The balance column only. I don't take screenshots, but I log the numbers every day. I'll post exact numbers if this happens to me again, but I don't think there is anything to be afraid from. I love frrebitco.in!

Yeah, because what it counts is the balance on the top right, and as for now I've never seen it decreasing fortunately Cheesy

Current coinsmarkets.com exchange sucks big time. Just registered and it sends me to a blank page. Can't be a better cheap exchange found? https://stocks.exchange ?

Has it occured to any of you that the past balances change on the earn btc tab? I record it every day and sometimes there are some corrections in the negative direction. (I know that the interest is added on a random time and no i don't give out percentage to referrals)

Uhm no, I never noticed this. You mean if a row at some point says:

2017-12-25 0.00100000

If you check it maybe five days later it may have changed to:

2017-12-25 0.00095000

?

any ideas?

what kind of troubles are you experiencing? you put the address and it gives out the staking reward. but it will be 0 if you last minted less than 3 days ago.

It is impossible to withdraw from the stock exchange! See the response of the exchange

The official wallet does not work.

Hi Vova1234, it works if you restart it?

It works fine and has been working fine for a long time now.

Before you show up and make declarative statements like that after you're likely tested the wallet is (1) environment and (1) scenario, please be considerate and ask questions.

I've tried all the versions. After the block 125010, the wallet hangs and knocks.

You may want to try to preload an already downloaded blockchain.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=15uh4WwiT5Der8QK_6PpTCKf3w4Yxn0Tg

Quit the wallet, download the package above and extract the relevant files in %appdata%/zoin/ than start the wallet.

Happy holidays everyone! I think something is going on over at vrm.poolinat0r.com. It's the only place I've ever mined VRM but it has been about 4 months. Since VRM is going up, I went back to mine. I was sending over 300,000 h/m but my estimated earnings wasn't budging. I thought maybe it had something to do with the mining difficulty going up but then my estimated earnings started going in reverse! I stopped after about 8 hours and sent a message on their online form.

I then went over to https://beertendr.com, sent over all my hashes, and after 10 hours I have 16 VRM ready for confirmation and payment.

Something is definitely not right at vrm.poolinat0r.com and I hope it's just a problem with the dashboard as I don't want to lose all that work!

what exactly are you mining with to get 300,000H/m?
pictures of your rigs would be a treat to see.  Roll Eyes

Well, all I can say is that I'm not doing anything illegal but I'd prefer to keep my technique off the radar for now. I'm still experimenting and will spill the beans as soon as I feel comfortable. For now, here is a screenshot of my current mining at beertendr.com:

yes, skimming isn't illegal, it's just theft of mining shares. You don't want to elaborate on your methods, OK.. i for one don't trust your methods.

Guys what are you talking about? You're saying maybe a pool is stealing some shares from every workers?

I have no idea what the poster is talking about. I've only heard the term "Skimming" in the context of ATMs. However, I recently discovered that beertendr.com is not meant for high powered miners so if you came in like I did with a crap ton of hashes, then it does take away from the other miners. I didn't realize beertendr.com is meant for low powered miners so I sent a quick message to the operator and let him know that I didn't know. I'm guessing this isn't a common issue so for those of us that have the means to point a bunch of hashes at a pool, make sure it is in balance. I think I will just stick with solo mining and possibly do my own VRM pool once I learn a bit more about how to do it. Also, I still don't know what's going on with my account at vrm.poolinat0r.com but I do know that sending too many hashes was not the issue.

Ok thanks. I was way lower on the reward from 16 VRM per day as reported by an user, but I'm also very lower on the hash rates, so maybe I should move on to beertender from polinator.

I'm seeing you often doing posts similar to this, that doesn't make much sense for a first time user who opens and reads through this thread. Could you elaborate in detail?

I have the sensation that many ITNS of the bounty are already sold in stocks.exchange.  Huh  Angry Angry Angry

It seems so, I don't understand the strategy of these guys, must be very courageous and love the risk to dump a coin with such much potential only for a few bucks, but it's their coin, their choice...  Wink

440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a Scam? on: January 03, 2018, 12:52:10 AM
Well it's a "kinda sort of an anti-blockchain philosophy", so therefore labelled as scam, because it violates the decentralization aspect of 99% of other cryptocurrenciens in the sense it is a "friend of old style banks" way of the distribution and organization of big money flow and transactions.
