421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is the most dominant? on: April 27, 2018, 11:42:46 PM
Why bitcoin is the most dominant among all crytocurrencies?
Is it because it is the first crytocurrency?
Is it because of its popularity?
Is it because of its value?
Please enlighten me.

What you've said above are some of the reasons why it is the most dominant cryptocurrency of all cryptos. Being the first cryptocurreny to be invented and launch gives it great advantage to be popular and well known and to lead the market. Also because of being the first crypto, it is the first coin to have great value/price for the reason that people thinks that it has the great potential leading the market. Also its feature of being decentralized is another advantage of bitcoin. These are only few of some more things that makes bitcoin to be the most dominant among all cryptos.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: April 26, 2018, 11:42:58 PM
Temporary dips are very common in bull runs, that's the way the market works. After a big run there is always a small correction, and after that comes the next run. Don't be afraid and hodl your coins.
Yes I agree, after continuous pump or increase in price, there will always be small correction to happen next in the market. But this correction won't last forever. People should get used to it, after all, the market always recover from this small corrections and continuously pump and make a bull run after. What we should do is to be patient and wait for that bull run to happen.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 26, 2018, 09:37:32 AM
I don't think bitcoin will be limited for anyone. Yes some governments as well as banks are doing everything they can to take control or to have access in crypto world but that doesn't mean they can have FULL control over it. People are the market and market will decide whether bitcoin will be successful or not, and  if ever that government succeed to have access to bitcoin, people they would limit in using it will decrease until no one will ever want to use bitcoin. From here, price will decrease and it will be the start of cryptos down fall. But still, it is impossible for them to succeed in this matter. They will need lot of time and knowledge to be able to succeed in taking over cryptos.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: You only need 1 good year for Bitcoin to be a good investment on: April 23, 2018, 12:00:09 AM
Maybe last year was your lucky year just like those people who earn good profit as you are. But every year differs from the possible profit that may ones gain/earn. We cannot expect that this year will be the same as last year's price reaching almost $20k but if it is true that the market repeating its history, then maybe it can but there is no assurance on that. Hope that it will go same as last year's though. Let's just all wait and find out.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Green days are coming for bitcoin on: April 22, 2018, 11:52:34 PM
The market is green and with that, it lessen the worries of holders and traders. We can expect that in more coming days, it will continue to be in green mark and hoping that price increases and rise up again like we all wanted. Right now it is increasing little by little, but if the right time comes, it will rise up rapidly and will be the start of the bull run again. Let's just wait for that right time to come.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade or HODL? on: April 22, 2018, 11:31:30 PM
Hi guys, I have a couple of alts in my wallet right now and I want to gain profit.

I want to earn a profit while waiting for a better market value. Should I enter trading(where I don't have an idea on how to and where to start) or should I stick on HODLing my coins?

Looking at the market movement, is it a good time to start trading?

Is it risky or not an ideal move if I start to study trading using some of my holdings/alts?

I am eager to learn how to do trading(short-term or day-trading).

Any thoughts? TIA

If you think your alts have lot of potential to grow in the future, better just hold it and wait for that time to come but if it don't have that much potential, try doing trading. The market is green and it is a very good time to trade. There are lot of good and have potential coins out there you can aim to trade with. Or you can also do both, hold half of your alts and trade the other half. After all, you'll be the one to make a choice. No matter what the outcome is, make sure to learn from that outcome/result. Good luck.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 22, 2018, 08:21:41 AM
Owning bitcoin would only be a crime if you got it from illegal activities/doings. But owning bitcoin alone and buying it as an investment is not a crime but rather an asset/investment. Bitcoin is not really accepted in other countries, this is one of the reasons why they think it is illegal. Also their are no laws regarding crypto currencies which are some people basis to consider it to be legal.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Holding Bitcoin affect the stocks on: April 20, 2018, 12:50:53 PM
Yes definitely, holding bitcoin will increase its price because supply will be limited and the demand will increase. This is one of the reasons why price increases. But what will happen is that if these people holding big/great number of bitcoins, and they decided to sell their coins, it will affect the price of bitcoin and drops down again just like the way bitcoin bitcoin rises.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: April 13, 2018, 05:14:25 PM
This pump makes me so excited about our coins going to the moon. I'm looking forward to see bigger pumps in more coming days. Hope it will continue until we reach last year's $20k or even greater than that, but still, we should not expect too much. Market is so volatile that anytime soon, market might drop down and we might see red marks again, but still hoping not to. Let's all enjoy this green market again guys.  Cheesy
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government destroy Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 10:13:15 AM
I think it is not possible for government to destroy bitcoin. Many tried but none of them succeed. Even professional and great hackers tried to hack the blockchain but still, it seems impossible for them to have access and to take over it. Maybe someday, they can, but as of now, it would be hard for them, they still need to learn more about it.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 05, 2018, 10:25:33 AM
All investors are experiencing same losses as you are experiencing right now. Some are losing half of their investment, some are losing even more than half of their investment but still, they keep waiting and waiting until market stabilizes again. Just look at those people who invested and hold their coins for years, when bitcoin reached $20k, they earn profit almost 10x of their investment, it can happen to you too, just keep holding and believing, you'll surely get what you wanted to.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: April 03, 2018, 04:40:18 PM
I think it would be hard for other cryptos to replace or to outdated bitcoin. Bitcoin comes from a long run for almost 10 years now and it is the pioneer of all cryptos, it's price is obviously higher than any other cryptos, and one of the most advantages of bitcoin is its decentralization which is much preferred by investors unlike other cryptos out there which is centralized. This are some of many advantages of bitcoin that would be hard to reach/pass by other cryptocurrencies. If other coins out there would want to surpass bitcoin, then they should be like bitcoin with much better advantages.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency on: April 03, 2018, 04:23:23 PM
As far as I know, blockchain is where transactions in bitcoin is recorded. It is like a passbook or ledger that is used in banks where transactions are recorded. Blockchain is important just like bitcoin and they can never be separated where blockchain is the key to know every cycle that is happening to bitcoin even though there are only addresses to where and from where each transactions come from or to, it plays an important role to know how many bitcoin is circulating in the market.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why all crypto world depend on one old tech coin it's ridiculous on: March 27, 2018, 06:49:32 AM
I think you're older than bitcoin. Haha. Bitcoin is not yet old. Cryptos depending on bitcoin is because bitcoin is the pioneer of all cryptos and it is the most heard and popular coin ever. There may be lot of good ICO projects out there with high potential to lead in the future but I think for now, they will all be depending to bitcoin, it is because bitcoin has proven lot of potentials and it faces and passed lots of struggles in the past from where we've seen it keeps on rising from the ashes. This proves that bitcoin is the real king of all cryptos.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Will future paper money disappear? on: March 24, 2018, 12:26:48 PM
I don't think so, fiat will always be part of our daily lives just like how gold does, it will always be part of our lives especially to those people who cannot afford to use bitcoin and other cryptos. I think it would only be possible if all people, even poor and beggars have gadgets and internet to use in order to transact and if they have knowledge and know how to use bitcoin as well as altcoins, but I think it would take forever before that happens.
436  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 23, 2018, 03:19:29 PM
I know that some of you guys agree that having merit points in order to rank up is what's best for this forum and for us, users to avoid and lessen spammers spamming messages, yes I know that that is the intention of this merit system but the thing is, not all good quality posts here are given merit points. I agree that it is so hard to rank up now that we do have merit system. Some posts are not given merits no matter how good and constructive it is, and there are still spammers anywhere, they do not rank up as well as those people who are trying their best in order to construct good quality posts, we are both left behind by those people whose posts are given attention and are receiving merit points.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Virtues of the Great HODL on: March 23, 2018, 06:08:31 AM
No matter how down is market now, there is no point of doing selling of tokens/bitcoin/altcoins right now. If we want to have bigger profit, we need to keep HOLDLING no matter what. We don't know until when will this market be like this, there is no exact time but we should learn how to be patient, that is the only key to earn bigger profit that will lead us to success.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Excited to see the people who trust bitcoin when price reaches All Time High on: March 23, 2018, 05:29:37 AM
I'm also excited about that too just like anybody else here does. I can't wait to see bitcoin's price rise up again just like last year's or even more than that price, it is so exciting seeing and knowing new millionaires from cryptos, it encourages more and more people to invest in bitcoin and other altcoins out there but I think it would take a lot of time from now for it to happen. For all we kow, bitcoin is facing falls and dumps right now because of some "i don't know" factors. I just hope people will be patient to keep hodling and believing that bitcoin will rise again, just like what we all want to happen.
439  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Signature Campaigns taxes on: March 23, 2018, 03:26:47 AM
I think people joining signature campaigns in my country don't need to pay taxes unless they convert their tokens/coins into fiat and cash it out to some banks accepting cryptocurrencies. Government here in our country is not against cryptos but I think they are doing some regulations to put taxes to those people who are engaging and earning money in cryptos, but as far as I know, this is not yet approved and still being processed.
440  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is forcing a woman to have sex considered rape if the woman has an orgasm? on: March 22, 2018, 02:53:26 AM
forcing someone to have sex is considered rape. No matter how much force you used, it is still rape and nothing can change that. Even if that sex or rape bears child, still it is rape. If the victim is responsible person and parent, she will take responsibility of being a mother to raise her child even if that child was made out of abuse of some people who only wants is to fulfill his lust even by forcing someone.
