421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: November 20, 2017, 11:01:34 PM

And this is very good actually. Such news can not but rejoice, especially those who invest in bitcoins in longevity. Despite the jumping news background, and especially the last month connected with news from China, digital gold shows adequate behavior, updates the bottom, preparing to conquer new peaks. So, if someone doubts whether it is worth buying bitcoin now, be assured of you!
For me, this year was actually full of surprises, especially the second half which is still in progress. These months were very thrilling and the value gain that bitcoin showed us earlier was super stunning. It really did put on a good show and the great news is it is not done yet. Indeed, masses are getting attracted towards digital gold and it is grabbing fame gradually.
The first part of the year was about altcoins and many began to question the strength of bitcoin but the second part of the year everything has been about bitcoin and its amazing recovery of its dominance in the market, lets see what the next year is about.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: November 20, 2017, 10:58:14 PM
I don't think we should treat trading like a game. If we trade seriously and respectfully, profit will come to us.
It depends for many earning money is one of the greatest feelings in life so for them earning money through trading can be be something very stimulating and as such it could be considered as a game but for the rest us we take trading very seriously.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: November 18, 2017, 12:44:06 AM
When i sell my bitcoin after the fork will i still get Bitcoin gold on that adress?
Nope, you need to have bitcoin in order to receive the airdrop, even if the bitcoin gold fork already passed, this is true for any other bitcoin fork that is going to give to you airdropped coins.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: November 18, 2017, 12:36:58 AM
Today, it is better to buy altcoins rather than bitcoin because altcoins' price are lower and can be easily bought. For me, the best altcoin to buy is eth because you will earn more profit on investing to this coin.
But to buy any of those coins you need to get bitcoin first, so even if you do not plan to buy bitcoin one of the first things you are going to do in the crypto world is to buy some bitcoin.

you can buy most in eth as well, but it wouldn't matter as you buy bitcoin to instantly sell again for the altcoin you want.
You are correct but it is going to be very difficult to find a person that has never held any bitcoin in the first place, most people at some point in their trading careers have held bitcoin.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: November 17, 2017, 11:57:39 PM
I believe that the future of Altcoins is there, but not all. Who managed to enter the market first, who has a good technical base and quality goods, he will be on par with bitcoin. The rest, unfortunately, will be on the roadside of time.
There are good projects out there but there is not going to be one that rivals bitcoin, bitcoin has showed for many years its great resistance and no altcoin has showed that resistance yet so only time will tell if many of the alts that exist today are going to exist in the future.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 17, 2017, 11:53:34 PM
I doubt many people had the conviction to hold their coins bought in the single/double digits all the way to today. I've always found it quite fascinating that BTC has an almost built-in distribution system, whereby initial early adopters have large stashes of coins but subsequently cash those out at a certain profit level, where they are redistributed among a larger userbase, and the cycle repeats as the price continues to rise over time.
That is the most likely scenario but at the same time I do not have doubts there were some hardcore bitcoin believers that thought that an scenario like this could happen and decided to remain invested in bitcoin regardless of the great profits they got.
427  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: November 08, 2017, 03:08:56 AM
Awesome if someone give me 1BTC now. I will hold it and put on some invest or gambling site Smiley. And of course i feel very happy to use this gift  Grin Grin Grin
I think giving one btc to someone as a gift is a luxury. if it was, maybe it was normal, because the price is not too high. but, right now, 1 btc can even buy a car, even though it's not so fancy. 1 btc has a very expensive price today.
True someone giving a full bitcoin must have many other bitcoins in store, while I do not even have a full bitcoin someone giving that kind of gift must have at least 100 coins or even more in order to afford such an expensive gift.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? on: November 08, 2017, 02:55:25 AM
I would instantly move to this country, but unfortunately such a country doesn't exist.  Angry

In the past the fiat money price of bitcoin has steadily increased and if you are paid in bitcoin for example since 2 years then you made a huge profit. Even if the bitcoin price goes down for 20% temporarily it's still better then the fiat money that regularly loses 10% every year. You have to see the living in such a country long-term and not short-term.
I would not mind living in a country like that if it existed but I simply do not have the money to do so, a country like that is probably going to be very expensive and I can barelly afford living in my country.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: November 08, 2017, 02:51:46 AM
I've been thinking for a bit about day trading Bitcoin, and am curious, what is a good amount to start with? Would it be possible to start with maybe $100-200 and work my way up?

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section, pretty new to forums here.

I keep the below for such questions as this.

Before anyone starts trading they need to know the facts. Over 80% of traders are not profitable over time and only 1% make it big. The rest just struggle to stay above the line. For nearly 2 decades of part time (hobby) trading I have seen countless people think trading is easy fast money or at least easily possible to make good money in the end. The truth is its not easy and it takes a diverse set of skills + experience to be able to make some money on the side.

This is why people give up too soon. Every loss is valuable experience, many losses results in a lot of experience. If your interested in trading, start each trade small, stupidly small. Buy/sell on 3-5% margins and be thankful for your "wins". There wont be many. But learn from the stupidly small losses over and over again. Analyse your losses, don't go on feelings but data, both fundamental and technical, especially regarding crypto.

Set yourself $100 and make 5 x $20 trades on different commodities/coins etc try and turn each into $25 (excluding fees). You'll learn a lot before you get there. Trading will always be here, take some time out to perfect your skills, trade on data not emotions and enjoy the ride, its fun imo.
I’m bookmarking this since this is something that I have always thought people think that trading is an easy thing but that is simply not true, making money is always hard and in trading it is even harder, you need a lot of skill to overcome other traders and their skill.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: November 08, 2017, 02:47:11 AM
to escape to the world of FIAT where rich becomes richer and poor become poorer ! we must have every people to be knowledgable on what crypto can do in our lives and also it is the cheapest investment we can have yet most profitable!!
That is never going to stop, the rich will use their fiat power and convert it into bitcoin power if they think that is a necessary step they need to take, I know that I would like for things to be different but that is what it is going to happen if bitcoin becomes successful.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coin for investment on: November 04, 2017, 04:22:45 AM
BTC, the only one that matters.  If it fails then the whole things falls apart.  This is reinforced time and time again whenever BTC takes a dip and everyone sells everything off thinking this is the end.
You are correct but at the same time there are other projects that even if they are not as important as bitcoin can give to you great profits if you are able to get in for a good price and ETH is a good example of a coin like that.
432  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investments in the media on: November 04, 2017, 04:19:05 AM
Do you think it's realistic to find investors-partners for the development of such a project? Alone, it is difficult to pull such a project financially, and for the accelerated implementation of all our plans I made decisions in search of investors.
I would like to hear your opinion: Is it worth it to invest in the media about crypto-currencies and the forum?

It is realistic, however what are you going to give to the project, if you do not have the money to make your idea a reality then you need great skills in order to make this a success if you do not then no one is going to invest money with you.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drop? on: November 04, 2017, 04:16:13 AM
It happen usually if there is rise, the next move will be a drop and it's normal that if there is a fork the price will go down. Coz people might think the price will go down, as usual they will be panic selling again. Rise, drop, all is normal and that is how btc price works.
No it’s not true I’m not agree with this bitcoin price is high that why I suggest to everyone to check the price of bitcoin every day in order to we don’t involve in wrong information’s and bitcoin price will be more high in couple of weeks so always believe in true statements about bitcoin because bitcoin is such a currency which give hope not disappointment.

Are seeing the price first dude. 2 weeks before bitcoin price was around 6k US dollar but now almost lower than 5900 USD only so we have to see that bitcoin price closely give quote in any thread.
Price drop usually happens whenever the hard fork, reduction of blocks size, reduction of bitcoin supply and so on. I say you should not care about the bitcoin's value at anytime just buy whenever price falls down.
I hope you bought at that price, bitcoin is now trading above 7200 and if the experience with the previous forks is right then that means that bitcoin is going to up even higher since there are still some forks we need to go through.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody all in in one altcoin? on: November 04, 2017, 04:12:49 AM
75% of my portfolio are Waves and thinking to add more.

I made a big mistake not keeping one single BTC and now it's too late.

Don't know if buy more Waves or some Monero.
You already have enough waves, you need to concentrate in getting more bitcoin and nothing else, people always make the mistake that when they invest in alts they do not keep some bitcoin in hand and this is what happens you lose a great deal of the profits you could be making with bitcoin.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: November 03, 2017, 02:52:00 AM
Bitcoin has been above four digits for the longest period ever.Localbitcoins trading volume have reached $32 millions per week. This may be due to chinese switching to localbitcoins due to strict regulations of PBOC.As per google statistics, bitcoin searches have increased in many countries this year, especially in africa and the baltic region.Bitcoin ATMs have reached around 1081 ATMs across 56 countries.US andf Europe share largest share of bitcoin ATMs.Bitcoin community is growing upwards with increase in bitcoin wallets, transactions, price and trading volumes.Bitcoin progress continues on and on.

2017 is very important year for BTC,not only for significant rise of price, but also much much more people are ready to adopt, invest ... at cetera
Here, locally in my little country -Georgia (not state in USA)  enthusiasts try to "spread the word" about crypto as new possibility, as money of future
I think we are going to remember 2017 as the year things changed in bitcoin, as the year in which bitcoin did not looked back anymore and it grew in price in a way we have never seen before.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: just a simple question? on: November 03, 2017, 02:50:44 AM
I think china wants to buy more stack of bitcoin in low price.  its just my opinion.
And they Have much Bitcoin.  If they going to sell all of in low price. bitcoin will go to hell.
But they are not going to do that, they are not dumb, if they did that then the price of bitcoin will go down, that is correct, but they will be the ones selling their coins at a bad price and the ones that will have to buy at an higher price and they are not going to do that suicidal move.

In my honest opinion, I don't think that China do it in purposes. They just made the decision to turns its back against bitcoin and not necessarily to buy it when the price is plummeting. However, they are not totally banning bitcoin, on the ICOs. But the damaged has been done to the market already. And we are moving great without them.
Well their damage was surely limited with bitcoin now trading above 7k then it seems bitcoin has nothing to fear even if China banned bitcoin completely, it seems that every bad news coming from China has a temporary bad effect but a good long term effect.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: November 03, 2017, 02:44:46 AM
I really love crypto trading Its like playing guess and win game hehe. In order to get a big chance of winning profit in this crypto trading game  You must know the fundamentals of trsding. Learn chart reading and learn to read the news about your coin.
Enjoying while on trading are maybe good but for some this could not be because they take it more seriously so for me that good idea loving it just like you are playing it is not the way that you are telling that this is just a fun and games but you are tellingbthat you dont have to take more serious it may look so relaxing.
Trading can be considered as a fun factor. All that's required is the importance to it as an sideline earning. If that is possible, automatically we can consider it as fun and enjoy the profit. When it is considered as the mainstream earning we cannot consider it to be fun, because even a small loss affects our living.
But do not let those loss make you feel boring and get more stress, most important you need to keep your mentality always comfortable. So, in my opinion, see trading as a game is not a bad idea for help us decrease our stress.
Even when we lose money we need to be able to remain calm, losing money is bad enough but if you begin to panic then you are going to make everything even worst so your best bet is to take some time to clear your thoughts.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: November 03, 2017, 02:42:42 AM
This is a right time to buy bitcoin but never a good time to sell. We may even borrow to buy so that when next the price goes up it will generate more profit. Also do not used all you have to buy at once because the price may still be going down day by day. It may work fine if you divide your money into different batch and  buy bitcoin by batch weekly within this period of time.

We can't really say when it would be a good time to sell because people have different needs. With the price this high, it can even be argued that it's a good time to sell especially for those that jave kept their btcs since last year. As long as you feel good about it, its always a good time to sell.
But you are going to lose the rest of the profits that you could make, you should sell bitcoin unless you have no other choice but if you have it then it is a terrible idea to sell now.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 29, 2017, 04:04:15 AM
keep in mind that we will find our next bitcoin from those altcoins..so yes definitely some altcoins will have great future but that doesn't mean any shitcoin is good to invest money...
There are many coins that are worth our investment but at the same time there are much more coins that are completely useless and like always it is up to us to find the difference and invest in the right coin.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: October 29, 2017, 04:02:38 AM
when btc hits $5k everyone who owns 200 btc is a $-millionaire. in February/march 2013 200 btc would have cost $10k.

the last time bitcoin was "cheap" was in august 2015. 200 btc would have a price tag of $40k if bought on the dip of august 24th.

i do not think there were many average people that threw in $40k in august 2015. it was still not clear if the ongoing downtrend that started in december 2013 was over.
I think the same, I do not think there are many people from that time that are rich yet, many of the people that made a lot of money invested in bitcoin earlier than that however anyone that invested in bitcoin at that time is in a very good position right now.
