I really don't expect Liverpool to lose only to Leicester because the opponent this time is not much different from the previous opponent, namely Aston Villa, Liverpool must be able to close this year with a sweet win at Anfield, one defeat will make them further away from the UCL zone and not a thing which is expected to see them not playing in the UCL next season.

Leicester is not a good club like before in a particular year, and they are not playing that good in this season, if they compare the club and Liverpool, Liverpool would likely win. Liverpool has done the right thing before and knows what it can do, and If Liverpool plays their game, Liverpool can beat anyone. With their first 3 matches after quite a long break now this could actually be a problem because 2 of the 3 matches that will be taking place are big matches. Their first game will be away to Inter and this will be troublesome and their third match will be no less troublesome because they will host Juventus.
This is a real test for their consistency and this can be a reference whether they can still do consistency or not.
Inter odds are bigger than Napoli in this match. Maybe the home effects might be considered, yet Napoli should not be underestimated imo. Juve and Roma games in January are important to know if Napoli could continue leading alone or let the other teams catch them! The positive points in case of Napoli defeats are that Milan has hard games too, Juve are easier in January overall. I think the odds are logic considering that inter will play home but i don't really think this will affect Napoli, this team is absolutely unstoppable this year and it's very hard to every team to beat them, personally i believe the winning chance will be 50/50 % and this will be a very interesting match to watch |

Atletico Madrid are indeed not playing efficiently at all. The percentage of successful goal attempts is very low despite being dominant in ball possession from the beginning to the end. Having only 4 shots on target is a very bad statistics for sure. There were three red cards as well in this game. Especially Quina's red card was really funny.  The guy entered the game in the 83rd minute. He got his first yellow in 3 minutes and the second yellow came 4 minutes after that.  If Elche had hopes for an equalizer he ended them for sure. However Atletico Madrid are still very unreliable as I said in my previous posts. But in the end they was able to get very important 3 points which they really needed to recover their confidence, they generally played well and crrated 18 goal attempt in the match and scored 2 goals and that's generally good, the next round they have a very defficultie match against Barcelona in comp nou and they should prepare well to at least get one point which will be very precious |

I have not yet seen any team that can compete with Bayern Munich, as for the first position no other team can get it. Union Berlin had opportunity for the first position but they couldn't maintain it. Bayern Munich shows more quality and good performance than other Bundesliga team.
Union Berlin has done a great job in the 1st Bundesliga so far. They will nott be able to play at a high level the whole season. If they finish at the end of this eseason in the top 5, then they can be really proud of themselves. With the load of Bundesliga, DFB Cup and international games they have done the best so far. Union Berlin made a really good start but they were so inadequate to maintain a good effort later on. They don't have a very impressive squad of course but they had a really good team spirit at first. It is always difficult to resist Bayern Munich's pressure but Union Berlin just gave the lead to them by themselves actually. Because they started a terrible form and it lasted very long. It was too difficult for them to keep the lead in the meantime. From now on they can at least fight for top 4. It isn't impossible as long as they make the same effort at the beginning of the season. They can get in the top 3 but the most important thing is that they must recover the confidence and start doing good results asap otherwise their mission will be very complicated, the next matches are crusial for them and they must focus on bringing back the good form and results |

With 3 goals in 15 minutes approximately, Arsenal managed to win West Ham. So far they are doing good and making things harder for City to catch them.
In another game, Liverpool won as expected vs Aston Villa and interestingly with 3 goals. Meanwhile, Spurs saved the day by getting 1 point after being 2 goals behind Brentford!
Although Arsenal were losing at the end of the first half, throughout the game they showed to be superior to West Ham. Ending up turning the result around in the second half. They are really to be congratulated, and if they continue, they have all the conditions to win the Premier League this year. For me the best player was Saka, who is playing very well, he is a fundamental player for Arsenal. Now the pressure is on City, who have to win tomorrow to keep up with Arsenal. Lazio have done a good job so far by having a good form in general. They are very good about keeping up with the top teams now. Maybe Napoli are at a very different level now but we never know what will happen in the future. We don't know what kind of a return they will make. If they lose momentum we can suddenly see a title race starting seriously again.
As for Lazio again, their next game is a comfortable one. It is against Lecce and I don't except any big mistake from Lazio here. This season they have a bigger potential to finish the season in top 4.
