I've come up with a new word: "shillstorm". Everyone, don't take it personally, it's a joke Grin

Lol shills torment it is...
Instead of showing rockets just buy the 25k wall.

We're still much below 1m$ marketcap. IMO we're a minutes before rise above 17k

It will happen when it happens.  Christmas is close, and most people investing need to keep their extra funds to pay for the holidays.

On the other hand vnl has been rising slowly against a strong BTC for almost a month and a half now, so a break out is probably imminent.

It probably would have happened already if BTC had stagnated.

That being said
I'm happy to sit at a 50% growth/month following a trend of puntuated equalibrium.  We will still reach ATH but somewhere in the beginning of March.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the hottest alt coin right now? on: December 11, 2015, 12:47:21 AM
After its recent low at the beginning of November of 6800 sat VNL has been on a steady rise and is now sitting at 12k sat.  This coupled with its new chain blender white paper and constant updates makes it the hottest coin around!!

Chun-li  of course!!

Actually it's bitcoin considering removing the ability to use 0 conf that is causing the hype.  If retailers and coin base can no longer do 0 conf trades while accepting the risk, bitcoin will be dead.  In fact the complications of transaction fees and miners may cause this problem either way.

THE ONLY COIN THAT HAS SOLVED THIS PROBLEM IS VNL.

ok so this "investor" is talking about bitcoin, not vanillacoin.

vanillacoin did not even enter his head.

vanilla holders logic: BUY UP DA BOOKS SOMEONE SED ZERO!!!!! MEANS THE WINKLEVOSS TWINS R INVESTING GOGOGO FOMOOOO!

Wow troll shooting from the hip without doing his own research...  how unusual is that.

Also VNL uses its own code that referenced peer coin.

But if you are asking how to fork a coin, You shouldn't be forking another coin.

Here is a link to the zero time white paper

I am interested in seeing people's take on it.

I'd say there are two platforms that could in the future become something of worth

ETH: Because of its potential to bring crypto to regular business

And

VNL: Because it is working on making crypto transfer instant and competent for use as a currency.
How does eth cooperate with businesses more than bitcoin does?

and emunie has achieved instant transactions.

However since eth is a fairly new crypto there is a lot of buzz around that at the moment. So in a way you could call that hot at the moment.
Emunie has created instant locked transactions, but VNL has created instant and respendable transactions.  Not the same.  One just shows that there has been a confirmation and locks it so it can't be respent,  the other is instantly transferred.

ETH allows businesses to incorporate block chain tech in whatever fashion suits them.

blockexplorer expired. Whats up with the new dwvs frim kore, looks like this coin is history

that would be a shame, VIOR had potential (once upon a time)
If anyone can keep the Telcom crypto dream alive it's Mike Mike. ..  if I ever get back in a financial position to help with that dream I will.

Sorry for disappearing,  but after repeated attempts to reach the old viorcoin dev to procure the gateway code with no success, I gave up.

Wallet version 0.4.0 RC2 released
(Source: https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/260/version-0-4-0-rc2-release)

Quote
Changes:
Reduced memory usage.
Improved Berkley Database Performance.
Ability to dump all private keys and addresses to a CSV (comma separated value) file through RPC "dumpwallet".
ZeroTime locked transactions now prefer on-chain inputs over off-chain inputs.
Now uses multiple threads for processing asynchronous IO.
Reduced voting traffic for both Node Incentives and ZeroTime.
Incentive collateral is now kept in a reserve balance so as not to be included in Proof-of-Stake.
Automatic Rotating Wallet Backups at startup (no more than every 24 hours).
Coin Auto-Denomination through RPC "walletdenominate".
Improved wallet handling of keypool size changes.
Performance improvements
Bug Fixes

Denominated transaction support serves one purpose, to take an amount of coins and split them given pre-defined amounts. This can be useful for splitting coins for staking or potentially for performing (anonymous) transaction blending.

An example of a denominated transaction is as follows: https://blockchain.vanillacoin.net/tx/1bbbdaf1b13482ae3012a02d214d801140ce7f0f0dfba1d85e240307b7caa111

The following builds will be updated as we move forward:

http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2_32.zip
http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2_64.zip
http://vanillacoin.net/downloads/Vanillacoin.0.4.0.rc2.dmg

Thank you for your support.

Great update.  VNL is really becoming the king of crypto currencies
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: have any of you even read the VNL whitepaper.... groundbreaking!!! on: November 23, 2015, 06:22:21 AM
Sorry that last post was off topic, though it was in reply to a reply of an off topic reply.

Lol just so I don't remain off topic, does anyone have any reason to believe that having random ports may cause a problem? Or was that just the typical FUD response?
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: have any of you even read the VNL whitepaper.... groundbreaking!!! on: November 22, 2015, 11:16:49 PM
Didn't bit coin ever have a year with three price surges each greater than the last that ended with the new bottom price being higher than the lows from the last cycle?

I don't have the charts from pre bitstamp so I really am unsure.

Looks to me like accumulation phase is coming to a close, someone is priming the market

I'm guessing that he was referring to jl777's coin going from $100k to $9 million, but I'm not certain.

Oh....   my bad forget I wrote anything.

newbie means nothing just mean i made it today and it wasnt fud

Exactly...  throwing random fear uncertainty doubt comments about a developer while hiding behind the name of a newbie account..

Accumulation phase has been going on since 15k sat... or 4 cents us

The volume of sells with the continuous support of btc holding the price for maximum effect supports my thoughts.

I think you are confusing accumulation phase with acceptance phase
