Would you share how are you calculating the profits on each sale? Are profits = sale price - material expense? Because I have seem some shady charities that pay their CEOs and staff large amounts which decrease the profits. Here it comes, I am an asshole for asking this right. Even though it is a valid concern
If it's a complete sellout, we estimate a total donation of approximately $15,000. We have to take into account our costs for the metal panels, canvases, paper, ink, employee costs, handling/packaging/shipping costs, etc. I think a $15K donation is pretty substantial. I also really like the fact that any excess that is not used is being donated to Bitcoin Venezuela. I know they are in dire need of food for the folks out there, so this is a win/win situation, either way, in our eyes! Elizabeth Stark is already aware of this, by the way. And as I mentioned on Twitter I'd be happy to donate bit-by-bit, not just after a complete sell out. Will post screenshots from any and all donations. Sold x1 metal panel this morning. Funds should be deposited within 3 days, at which point they'll have a donation coming their way. Might be easier to batch the donations weekly, however. |

Little confused about this, so are u saying u have 8 individual lots? 5 individual chips in Lot1? Just want to clarify so i don’t make mistake while bidding. I think if u keep lot1 as simple composed of 5 chips it might be easier.. Yes. Lot 1 is comprised of x5 individual coins. Each individual coin's starting bid is .005 BTC. They are being auctioned separately because some people may only want one or two coins rather than all 5. If you are wanting to bid on all 5 coins, you would start the bid out by saying .005 BTC per coin, all 5 coins. Or you can say .005 BTC for one coin, etc. |
