Canvas Update:
as long as we do not notice any errors after building all of the canvases, all canvases will begin shipping, tentatively, on Monday the 22nd.
Thanks everyone for your patience. This has been a process.
Other notes:
If you are a US-based customer, you will receive your canvas via FedEx Ground.
If you are an international customer, you will receive your canvas via USPS Priority Mail International.
If you're curious what number canvas you received, perhaps you didn't have us reserve a specific number, you're welcome to message me; I have an excel file of each number with the associated buyer's name, so I'd be happy to tell you.
The ONLY poster prints that have not yet shipped are ones that were ordered with canvases as we are combining the shipping. I believe there's only two of those.
I will have some updated pictures on Monday evening / Tuesday morning as the canvases start rolling out the door.

I believe that is correct, that casascius4thewin is the winner.
The auction was extended the 15 minutes as per the terms mention. But greenplastic's bid came in at 15:13, just 13 seconds too late.

Lynx Art Collection in collaboration with Ruben Megido are brought to present to you Bitcoin, Break the Chains.
This is a 1 of 1, hand painted, oil on canvas. The canvas measures 18"x24" inches. We were originally going to also release a limited set of prints with this piece, but we've decided not to do that as we wanted to make this much more exclusive. This is literally a one of one. It has absolutely no remakes. This is the first time we have ever released a 1 of 1 original like this.

This piece took a whopping TEN weeks to complete. It was 7 weeks of collaborating, sketching, and painting, and another 3 weeks for the painting to dry.
This auction will run for one week.
The canvas will include a gold engraved 1 of 1 plaque along with a hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
Sniping: No, each bid in the final 15 minutes adds 15 minutes until no bid has been made for 15 minutes
Forum downtime: If the forum goes offline in the final 4 hours of the auction I may extend the auction at my discretion
Shipping: $30 Domestic. ~$150 international.

Can someone please explain why I feel like there’s only two prints that are being bid on?
the other prints sold out during our regular sale when we released them. they were sold within about 24 hours. We held onto 2 prints for auctioning, numbers 1 and 50. we also held four canvases for auctioning, one of which sold privately, another that is a pending private sale, and the remaining two that will be auctioned here (#50 canvas auction is live in the other thread) |
