As I toured the streets of downtown, I asked to question 10 people aged 25-30.
"Do you know of bitcoin or cryptocurrency?"
"Where do you get bitcoin information?" (If the answer to the first question is yes)
Of the 10 people I asked, 6 people answered never know about bitcoin and the rest replied that they know about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
From the second question I gave to 4 people who answered that they know the average bitcoin replied that they know the bitcoin of the ads that appear in some social media services like BBM, Line, and Instagram. They told me that they were initially curious about the ads appearing so they tried to find out information about the ads.
The majority of people in this forum want bitcoin to be a world currency if viewed from the results of the survey above it turns out most people still do not know what is bitcoin or cryptocurrency.
How can bitcoin materialize into the world's currency if people do not know what bitcoin is? What do you think about to help the wishes of all bitcoin users come true in the future?
encourage people to know about bitcoin is not so easy, not all people have a will to know about crypto, if their daily activity from internet is just social media, then they might know it from ads or some link shared. Your sample is just to small so you can't really get any data for it. I actually don't agree with Kprawn, and I think that bitcoin is mainstream already. Not in terms of adoption of course, but in terms of awareness. I know this goes against what the OP found in the survey he conducted, but like I said, questioning 10 random persons does not count as a sample from which you can get statistically significant results.
i think it depends on where (country) they actually did the survey, in some country there's also the lack of its existence. and of course not all of youth know about bitcoin. youth with knowledge with technology, im sure they will. |

actually, in my environment, no one that become crypto haters, but also they dont know bitcoin too much, its really relieving me  but when i dealing with crypto haters, i just ignore them, but still, they keep on my friendlist as long as they didnt disturb my life update the profit everyday and being watched by them are my only solution  when they ask for how profit i get, i just keeping said that i only get 100$. Because to haters mind, no matter what we say, they keep hate it. |

Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.
Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.
Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!
almost a same experience with me and bitcoin. but me ? i dont even deposit my real cash to bitcoin, i really work from 0 in cryptocurrency. starts from the financial problem to me and my family, exact a few months before the final test and graduation my friend introduce me this. and of course, i really interested in a something new, even if that involved with a word called "Technology" from i know to get a bitcoin is from faucet, and then i found out this forum, and last know about trading, the profit is really looks very legit. know, while looking for a real job, the profit from bitcoin keep flows to my wallet, even it more than month salary of real job Thanks bitcoin and my god for all of your gift in this way |

Indian Rupee takes 70 years to reach at No5 in the largest world currency and Bitcoin arrive on No6 in 15 years it is really big achievement. I think Bitcoin will be largest World currency in next few years.
but still, its bubbling effect is dangerous for new player in the cryptocurrency. FUD and other phenomenon that we can see everyday in cryptocurrency is really a big problem, especially it brings big affect on traders. how bitcoin reach the moment like this is great, but the worst case is, it also can hit to bottom rank again. |

i just did a simple calculation, about 35k bitcoins are traded on GDAX every day. At its current price of $6900 and a trading fee of 0.3%, the exchange puts about $700,000 in its pocket EACH DAY and it is ONLY for bitcoin. After including all other cryptos, this number can go up to more than $2MM. Since the exchange is active 365 days a year, the exchange's annual revenue can reach almost $1bn!!
no matter how the trusted exchange earn, it keeps that they must pay for the whole system manager, security, partners, maintenance and others. im sure with this transparent transaction, the exchange didn't really get as we expected. also the security is the most vulnerable issue of exchange, keep it is not as simple as we think. keep the security is like keeping their the partners |

dude, bitcoin works for long term. if you hope to get profit for short term, dont choose bitcoin. try another alts that still profitable. but i assume if you choose bitcoin and even you've invest 0.5 btc. that was a big stuff. dont lose your faith in bitcoin or you will get more depressed. |

I participated in many aridrop projects. It's usually scam and does not pay me. Now should I continue to join the new aridrop project? Please give me your advice.
Can't you see the hint? Stop participating ICOs if you are a regular victim of those scams. Learn from your mistake and stop giving time to those airdrops that usually the owners are profiting and not those airdroppers. Learn to trade and start making your time worth and valuable by purchasing those coins that are relevant and legit than those airdrops. If you have time for that, then why not? And if you spend time on more profitable work, then no.
He has time but look, he is always falling in those scams. He might lack of knowledge and falling to those wrong airdrops but still, stop wasting time there. so far, since september 2017 i got more than $2500 just from airdrop. in other way it was really works like a charm. it seems people are just watch on the airdrop and leave it after they join this, join that. we must really take care of those group and im sure it will reduce for us to get scammed |

im one of those believers that bitcoin will survive,the price and value of bitcoin will increase as time goes buy,even if today the price is too low and not stable,the speculation of others it will pump up in the middle of the year just like last 2017 bitcoin hit the value 1M.. so its possible to hit another 1M or maybe double the price,just stay calm and believe in bitcoin..
Just like you mate, I always believe that bitcoin will never stay this for so long because I have faith that bitcoin will survive and soon it will rise up it's price. But it will need a perfect hit of good news about bitcoin, sounds like none of the country ban the bitcoin or even better "they will legalize bitcoin" If no good news then, im afraid bitcoin price will keep decreasing day by day. Is it possible for a company to raise funds through an ICO even if it is not a startup? For example: Say company X manufactures chocolates but now it wants to further expand its operations and needs funds for it, can it opt for ICO instead of a Private Equity fund or a Bank Debt? Please help I am a complete newbie and this concept is confusing me a lot  Thanks That is can be realized, but one thing to make that happen is the "Company X" should bring a trust from investor. we know that many people do not like the presence of Bitcoin, Are you sure in the future people who hate Bitcoin will be silent and regret because of Bitcoin triumphs... I think no one gonna hate a stuff like bitcoin itself. If so, then the only people who gonna hate it is a someone that didnt know anything on bitcoin but just investing in btc. People still get a doubt about buy on it. Because its risk was high. Maybe the only that could fix it is partnership. When its already have a partnership with other crypto company or big famouse company. That will make trust score higher. |
