Now this is what you called "Lack of Financial Management".
Not only that people nowadays need to know "Financial Management" they also need have "Financial Literacy". Financial Literacy is like Expanded Financial Management because in Financial Literacy, you are not just going to manage your funds, you will also need to know where money is coming from and what are the tools that you can use to grow your money with you.

This guy lacks both and besides what happened to the garbage guy is not common. Anything that you gained without breaking a sweat will be gone before you know it.

Among the recent updates here are the two that I love most

"3. User levels reset every 3 months now (not every month) meaning there is more time to gain XP, level up and stay on the same Cashback percentage."

5. Levels do not reset to Bronze anymore, only 1 rank is lost every 3 months

Most specially this promotion

"Double Cashback Bonus will be active for 3 months, starting on 1 October 2019 00:00 AM (GMT +0) and ending on 1 January 2020 00:00 AM (GMT +0)"

Very nice update Admins!

Plus you have to worry about the integrity of that old phone you want to use just for cold storage. There is a reason why that person isn't using that phone anymore aside from them having a new phone the old one would have some issues ranging from being laggy to a unreliable battery, once it gives up then you have no choice but to repair it and if I were you I won't trust my cold storage phone to be handed onto anyone just to fix it. This isn't really an ideal alternative for any hardware wallets out there as I would rather buy a new and reliable hardware wallet then to risk it just to utilize my old phone.
Problem with hardware wallet (ledger or trezor) is they are too small and the possibility of it to be misplaced is high, unlike using an old Iphone like an Iphone 6 and if its lost or stolen, you can use the find my iphone feature, same with using an android phone, I heard they also have almost the same function so at least you will have a peace of mind in case you iphone dedicated for Cryto transactions are lost or stolen.

I doubt that you can really misplace something that valuable if you are really a responsible hodler. Think of your hardware wallet as a piece of jewelry or even a photo that has a sentimental value for you, this items are not just placed onto any surface but is kept on a secure location that you know. Same goes with hardware wallets after you buy it you have another responsibility to carry in order to protect your cryptocurrencies. Having cryptos on your mobile phone in the other hand is no different than having a web wallet installed in that phone, you do know that hackers has other ways of getting your phone connected in the internet remotely in various ways.
Unfortunately I am that clumsy when it comes to keeping small things as small as USB. I lost a lot of USBs already thats why I would rather go for a portable Hard drive than usb or flash drives. However, you guys are right, if ever a thief would break in my house, 1st thing that they look for are the gadgets like smart phones and laptops. So I guess its not a good idea after all.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: October 08, 2019, 03:01:02 PM
I cant make up my mind between the 3 fights that I watched recently

1. Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman last July 20, 2019. The trash talking Thurman eats his own words after being schooled by Manny Pacquiao for 12 rounds of boxing. At least in the end he admitted that he lost unlike Broner who thinks he won the fight.

2. Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr last June 1, 2019. I dont know if I will vote for this fight as the Fight of the year or the upset of the year.

3. Gennadiy Golovkin vs. Sergiy Derevyanchenko last October 04, 2019. I thought the fight will be all GGG but it was a close fight. You can see Sergiy answering back on what GGG is throwing at him.

There might be more of them out that that has not revealed that they are into sports betting, of course some of them dont want to be exposed and labeled as addicted to gambling. I found 3 blogs that says Ben Affleck is among the top 10 and he is into poker another is Tobey Maguire who is also into poker.

I just received a third notice email and I thought about sharing this for people who might have missed it. You have 3 days left (11th October) before the following coins get removed: BITS, BSD, COVAL, VRM, XMG so you should withdraw them, otherwise, you'll have to pay a fee for Bittrex to retrieve them for you.
That's odd, I didn't get such notification in my inbox. Is it because I don't have any of those that is scheduled to be removed thats why I don't get the notice or its because I didn't request to receive such updates and notices. Its sad that COVAL or Circuits of Value is also included in the coins that will will be removed in Bittrex. COVAL use to perform well.

Looks like next stop for Israel Adesanya is Paulo Costa, a Brazilian with a record of 13-0-0, he defeated Yoel Romero in UFC 241, Uriah Hall in UFC 226 and Johny Hendricks in UFC 217. After beating Wittaker in UFC 243, You can see Israel Adesanya giving the DX Generation "suck it" move and Paulo Costa pointing his fingers back to Israel Adesanya. Plan is have a PPV match between this two at March 2020. Lets see if this will happen.

$50,000 Performance of the Night Bonus goes to Israel Adesanya, Yorgan De Castro and Fight of the Night award went to Brad Riddell and Jamie Mullarkey. This is the 6th Fight of the Night award for Israel Adesanya out of the seven UFC event appearance that he made. Now I am wondering what was that event that his fight was not appreciated by UFC.

432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Is The Right Time To Trade Your Tokens on: October 06, 2019, 11:21:58 PM
Depends on whats your plan with the token that you bought

Sell the tokens right away when the token is listed in any exchange site, this way you can recover the investment that you have in this token. Usually when tokens get listed in an exchange site, the price is high but the price drops fast as almost everyone wants to do the same.

Keep it and Sell it after a few months if you believe the price of the token is higher than the price listed in the exchange site. If the project has a lot of future development or more milestones to come, usually the price will go up but again, it depends.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down below $9k! Buy the dip now? on: October 06, 2019, 05:35:08 PM
Problem is how do you know if the price that you see now is the so called “dip”? You may use TA to predict it but if another issue surface like fake news that affects the price of Bitcoin then, the dip that you are looking at may not be the dip after all. One thing I know of is that price of BTC is just temporary, it will go up but for now just enjoy the price of Bitcoin and buy if you have idle funds.

Huge news... Khabib's dad agreed on a Conor McGregor rematch in Russia... this will be epic:

https://www.mmamania.com/2019/10/3/20897858/ufc-khabib-father-conor-mcgregor-rematch-russia-timeline-eagle-return-mma
Great news to the fans of the notorious Conor Mcgregor and this time it’s like watching Rocky 4, he will be a guest in Khabibs homeland which is already an advantage to Khabib. I guess Conor really wants this fight badly if he agreed and signed. Imagine the pressure of fighting with the crowd against you.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 05, 2019, 02:06:34 AM
Many of us here are hardcore bitcoin believers. If you are anything like me, you've put most of your savings in bitcoin.

However, how painful is it to watch bitcoin price plummet?  Cry   Undecided  Roll Eyes  Huh  Sad  Angry

April 1st signaled the start of what seemed would be yet another bull run… however, the rally seems to have been cut short without getting close to the all-time high.

What do you think would be a smarter way of hodling bitcoin other than standing still, bag in hand, while watching the price go back down to the $3K range?

I use to buy Bitcoin and just hold it for a long time but since I already witnessed Bitcoin spiked up and dropped like a ball, I don’t hold on to it for a long period of time. Nowadays when I place a Buy order, I always have a Sell price in mind. If you don’t plan your exit ahead of everything, you will end up witnessing your money going down the drain.

When you buy at $8,100 today at what price do you plan to let it go? I said price because if we look at days weeks or months, lets say you committed yourself to Sell after 60 days and yet the price on that day is below your Buy price, are you going to proceed and Sell?

I am not an expert trader, but when I trade, I see to it that I can earn at least 2% -3% then move on.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There isn't always a clear reason why BTC went up or down on: October 05, 2019, 01:34:30 AM
There’s always a reason why the sudden change or drop of price of Bitcoin and there are times it will take days, weeks or perhaps months before someone can offer an explanation why the price dropped. Remember the 2017 bull run that ended on the first month of 2018 or the last week of 2017, some offer an explanation that it was the stock market traders who bought Bitcoin on the last quarter of 2017 until the price spiked to ath and then they dumped. Question is do believe it or we just ignore that explanation and just take our profits.

Imagine while we are busy looking for reasons, others are already gaining profits because they were able to position themselves at the right time.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 04, 2019, 07:41:42 AM
Never bet against Pacquiao. That's what I've learned in all the years I've been watching him fight. He's getting older, some would argue. I would respond with he's getting more experienced. Pacquiao is as technical as they come. He calculates every round and his speed mixed with high altitude training is a force to be reckoned with.
Remember that 2 years ago, Senator Manny Pacquiao lost to an Australian named Jeff Horn and for me Jeff Horn is a no name in the world of boxing until he won the fight that was judged by the three blind mice. Manny Pacquiao is already 40, any of his possible young opponents in the future might give him a hard time to settle for a decision.

That was rigged! They thought they could use that Australian clown to hype up upcoming matches because he defeated Pacman ( which is a very obvious fraudulent act) but right after that, karma struck him so bad after he got exposed by Crawford. His dirty tricks didnt work so well during that match, thanks for the Pacquiao fight, his headbutts and little UFC like tackle got exposed.

Well Spence is a good opponent for Pacquiao though, and Crawford is a more dangerous one for him.
To us we may say its rigged because of what we see and believe but in the record book of boxing, its just a number without an explanation that it was rigged and Horn was exposed after that fight. Crawford is a good name to toss in the pool of possible opponent for Manny Pacquaio. Floyd Mayweather is definitely out of the list, he just want easy money.

Sounds like a very nice idea however, I wonder what version of Android are they supporting. Is it going to work even if the phones android version is old example if the Android version is Gingerbread, some apps in Google Playstore does not support lower android version so question is, is it still going to work if android version is low? Right now latest version of Android is Oreo I think.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 04, 2019, 05:22:50 AM
Here are the odds for UFC 243. I took this from Nitrogensports

Main Card
Robert Whittaker (-106) vs Israel Adesanya (-106)
Al Iaquinta (+145) vs Dan Hooker (-166)
Tai Tuivasa (-120) vs Sergey Spivac (+315)
Luke Jumeau (+133) vs Dhiego Lima (-151)

Preliminary Card
Jake Matthews (-287) vs Rostem Akman (+239)
Justin Tafa (-120) vs Yorgan De Castro (+106)
Callan Potter (+250) vs Maki Pitolo (-301)
Megan Anderson (-526) vs Zarah Fairn dos Santos (+385)

Early Prelims
Jamie Mullarkey (+135) vs Brad Riddell (-154)
Nadia Kassem (+150) vs Ji Yeon Kim (-172)
Khalid Taha (-234) vs Bruno Silva (+200)

Both Wittaker and Adesanya at -106 so its up to you guys to decide which one is which.

And there's more action coming in on Adesanya.  Some sports betting sites now got him as a slight favorite.  It's making me scared.  Lolol.

UFC 243:  Embedded Episode 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzQCsdzQcws

Odds now at Nitrogensports for Robert Whittaker vs Israel Adesanya is as follows
Robert Whittaker -104
Israel Adesanya -108
As the fight draws near, odds are changing as well and slowly going in favor of Robert Whittaker.
Now i'm thinking that Israel Adesanya might loose to Robert Whittaker and that's not going to look good at his record.

440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 03:57:51 AM
A loan is a loan, regardless of how much "you think" you will earn from the investment that you plan to make using the proceeds from that loan, its still a loan. You can't count your profits yet until you have it in your hands. Even when "you think" the chances are high that you will earn from it, still its a big no as known investors always say, avoid loans at all cost. As long as you don' have that money in your hands, your investment is at risk.
