OK, good job on bumping up marketcap while the core and mobile wallets are so buggy they crash or can't IS.  My guess is this pump was needed to get on the "undisclosed exchange"?

Just going to point out.  InTheWoods and Buster are in no way supporting Dash anymore.

You fail to state what Thedashguy did for dash.   He created several websites, including the awesome dashndrink.com site, whatisdash.org, and many others for the community.   Whatisdash.org was a far better site than dash.org and was completed in a month vs the dash.org redesign that took 1.5 years and still has broken links.  Since he was totally blasted by core members for trying to help with dash.org and was totally disrespected when he offered a marketing proposal he stopped helping Dash.  (FYI, that same core member that blasted thedashguy, yidakee, was quietly fired - so it was even admitted he was in the wrong)

And I have been heavily involved in dash building the Dash N Drink soda machine to show off InstantSend along with other examples of merchant tools like DashNGo.  It was all looked at as a "too early" examples of Dash technology.   The core just wanted to wait for Evolution before touching anything that could be used with merchants.  It is all too fishy.   Why wouldn't Dash put resources behind merchant tools and technology?  It looks like the entire project is a scam to partner with big companies to leach the budget and bring in more investors to raise the coin price.

So you ask why previously devoted Dash enthusiasts are now against Dash?   We learned about the real intentions of the developers....and it isn't to grow transactions or make the currency useful.

Just to be clear, I currently have no businesses accepting Dash or businesses selling anything Dash related.  Dash is too risky to mess with right now. 

Coinfirm is tracking every transaction(very easy with so few everyday) the government can easily implement retroactive legislation to cause problems.  It is also very likely masternodes will be tracked to their IP and public address making them big targets.  I just don't see any of this ending well for Dash.

That is besides the fact that Dash has no advantage over Litecoin right now without InstantSend.   Sure it has pretty masternodes and a pretty core controlled budget system and maybe some hope for a fancy Evolution of Paypal in 2018.   With so very few transactions, there is more anonymity just by using a coin with more transactions.  And Litecoin has wallets on the app store so Apple users can actually use it, along with lightning months away.  There are many other coins that are actually developing new ideas - not trying to copy the banking system.

I approve this thread.  No worries.  Nothing can be done with Dash N Drink or any Point of Sale idea with Dash until a mobile wallet can use InstantSend again.

Do you know how the Jaxx wallets work?   They are more like block explorer checkers.  Of course they won't work with Monero, the blockchain isn't visible.

Monero should be able to get on Coinomi that uses real servers.  Looks like Exodus will add Monero this year.....anyway...

Don't know why this is news in the Dash thread.  Dash should be figuring out how to get Apple to accept Dash - so that the Jaxx wallet can use Dash on the iphone.  Or add instantx capability with the Jaxx wallet.   Or fix instantx on the android app after the 12.1 upgrade.  Unbelievable that at this stage Dash has no working InstantX mobile wallets.

No, actually Dash is uniquely susceptible.  Masternode IPs are required to be static and public.  They also require collateral stored in an address.   No other currency (besides Dash clones) links a public address with funds and rewards to the IP address.

The 3 year limitation is only if you want to get a refund back.  If the IRS finds that you owe money, there is a 10 year limitation.

Is this supposed to be bad for Monero or something?  I seriously doubt the feds are going to be able to coerce view keys from transactions to put any links together.

Why did they pick Monero?   Here is the quote - notice they mention "catches on".  Which privacy coin has highest market cap?

On the other hand Dash is partnering with Coinfirm.   Coinfirm should be able to track IP to masternode address to how many rewards each masternode gets to where it is spent.   At that point, any law that comes into play can force a warrant to get the user of an IP address and file criminal charges....tax evasion, mixing(laundering), money transmitter, not declaring crypto holdings over xxxx amount.   The law may not exist now, but the blockchain is forever so expect retroactive enforcement.  Ironically, it would be a piece of cake for the Fed to go after Dash "criminals".  What about mixing?   Feds can just declare mixed coins laundered too.

There is a solution.  It is called IP blinding.  Has that been implemented as a standard feature?  Nope.   Or mixing could be default so coinfirm can't track all of this information, but that idea was put to bed too.

I really could care less about Monero.  But it sure would be nice if Dash would pay attention to what is happening and improve privacy instead of assuming every other coin is inferior.
