I heard a little about cloud-mining.

Thinking og renting a VPS on DigitalOcean, to mine on. I know it's CPU mining and it isn't good, but has anyone tried this? How does it work?
You should find answers here, and support through the thread, good luck! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333238.0

There are real reason's behind the rules hope you read through them, the wait is a good time to search around and familiarize yourself with the forum, if you have any questions you might find they have been asked and answered already-use the search bar often- hope you get to your destination soon.

This is all funny as hell, a horrible attempt of FUD and a bunch of intentional (and sometimes weird) crud following it up, who the hell cares how China does with crypto's, I hate waiting for goods to get here from China, and since I order alot of food mainly I prefer fresh food so local is where i want to buy (still order fish from Japan though, they are bigger than usual lately at same price).

Hey Guys,

I've been curious to learn how mining works and testing it out for myself so I've been wondering if there are any good coins out there which won't be too hard to set up mining and could actually mine coins on a fairly old laptop?
I am mining stablecoin on a not so fancy desktop and on a laptop, its a script coin so you can setup cgminer and mine from your cpu, check out the mining threads on the forum http://forums.stablecoin.net/index.php

428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DogeShit. such crap. so scam. much mine. do dump. on: December 18, 2013, 03:41:44 AM
Ha! Why would you care when someone makes a joke coin, why would anyone care if it gains value? I cant wait for a street coin that is "so gansgsta" that someone has to "Be cool" to obtain some "shiz", Or a Rabbit coin that is "Hoppin hot", who cares if a brainless investor sinks their cash into a coin that fails? Maybe, just maybe, you should get ready for altcoins to be hijacked by the Hipster scum and your precious altcoin will be rated along with "crackcoin".
Can't wait to see the war'z coming, lol!

Please explain how any crypto coin is going to bring down the Fed, The U.S. will bring out their own system with similarity's before that ever happens,.

And as for the NWO, does anyone really think that ancient cultures are truly going to be brought together just cause a bunch of politicians want them too? I think that was a seeded idea that has grown with the growth of the U.N. and was built to increase the strength of the walls protecting freedom (haha), if anything, crypto currency has the ability to bring everyone in the world onto the same page, and is actually a threat to those people that are dead set against tearing down border walls and uniting with other people in peace.

Quark coin runs into opposition only cause if there is no fire then there is no refining, a little heat makes gold the lovely yellow color we all love, a little heat will make the quark look good too.

No argument here, but a retort to your proposition that the Fed will bring out their own system. It would have to be supporting by mining efforts of those of us, who choose to support it, which would be very few of us, considering all the profits would go to them.
I think a bank could get the processing done on browser's, the people trust the establishment enough to entrust their hardware to them, all of the new computers could run cycle's without even feeling it.
Looks like you know something of Maritime law bitrebel  Wink

I can understand why someone might like to protect their identity form everyone that looks into whois, yet if I am going to buy coins through a site I would like some type of finding out who is responsible for the site so I can hang them if I do not get my coins, just saying, I looked at the site and its a little slow to load for me, I do like that buying does not require any personal info, i also like you do not try to run it as an exchange, it appears to be very simple to use and after i am able to trade my doge for cash I will risk it all to order litecoin or btc through it.
Much thanks for your effort's  Wink

439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Dead Alt's With No Devs? on: December 17, 2013, 03:54:00 AM
my 2*, maybe you could work on something for stable coins? it kind of fits in with your image, although its not dead, I would really like to see some type of a button for merchants to apply to their website that converts a mixed coin to the merchants coin of choice through some type of quick trade through an exchange, your a coder is it possible?
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bter.com down since yesterday on: December 17, 2013, 03:40:33 AM
i am sure this is all an attempt to maximize profits for the company, there has been a high increase in traffic to the exchange's and watching closely i can be sure that it was unexpected, Xmas vacation is going to be a horror. (my opinion is derived from a conversation with someone who recently was charged with system operations of  software for use in the medical field of the V.A.) these guys running the exchanges do not want to overspend and cannot predict what amount of traffic is going to run through their site, I expect to see many upgrades over the next 6 months.
