I think that if REV 3 doesn't make the price rise, XC will probably die a slow death, which would be unfortunate.

Also, I thought the reason for the buyout was because everyone lost faith after those coins were stolen. Are people really gonna trust these clowns more than the old owners? they seem clueless to me.

Yup. I couldn't have said it better. They took over from a bad situation and have pretty much run the remaining reputation of Mintpal straight into the ground LOL. Their only hope is the zero trading fees enticing people to use it. Good thing XC didn't tie any PR into this v2 launch...what a FUBAR it has been. Bots are going to run amok on zero fees...if Moolah ever gets it together. did moolah always had there own trading section? I'm sorry guys. I was naive (evian backwards ) and I saw dollar signs. I thought I could sell and then buy back more with the extra BTC. Don't fall victim like I did. If I may ask, how old are you and if you are above 18(don't say your age), what country do you live in? That 1500 XC is all of your savings. Im in my mid 30's. I used to make a lot of money - but with an injury and a drastic employment change a few years ago, i ate away my savings - All of it. Jobs were with temp agencies. So i would work for 3 to 4 months then be without a jobs for 3 to 6 months. I now have a steady job (just about 2 years at it). I've been putting every extra dollar I had after each paycheck into buying XC. I do have a 401k, but i've only been putting a small amount into it every paycheck for the last 11 months (that's when i became eligible). I can't touch the 401k without huge penalties. Remember, not everyone is always financially stable. When I made a lot more money in my mid to 20's to early 30's, i used to never give to charities and looked down at those people - asking them why are you begging. I never understood them. Now that I've live their lives, i try to give people that are even less fortunate than me something. Just to be clear, I'm not asking for a hand out. I want people to stay clear of this individual and not be scammed like me. I was greedy, thought I could make a few extra dollars to get some toys for my kids but I was burned. I'm basically at zero and will start buying XC again when i get paid this friday. What is the 401k? I never heard of that. What country do you live? 401k is company sponsored savings plan linked to mutual funds and/or the stock market. My company takes a few dollars out of my paycheck (pre tax) and invests it into a mutual fund of my choice from their list. I live in the USA. Oke, thanks for the explanation I guess. I just don't get how you can have that without a job, because you just said you lost your job right? No no, im working. Ive been in and out of jobs since my accident. Been hard finding work but i'm Ok now and i'm furthering my education. Going for a bachelors in animation and design. Money is tight, but I make it work. I skimp on things like cable tv and a basic cell phone plan but I make it work Oke, that explains it better. |

Mintpal's new layout looks like somebody puked and that came out.
I preferred the old layout Me too. I don't like all the dollar signs in green circles at the top. Old layout and theme was cleaner. You can tell this is all being handled by a new team. Hey Everyone! I have sad news. I was scammed. And being naive and not knowing enough played a role at this. Also greed was in this. There is a user named BobbyL and he also goes by Michail1. He was looking to buy a large quantity of XC. We talked and he agreed to buy everything I had because he was offering me 3.5BTC for 1500 XC. 1500XC was my total amount I had been saving since June. I've been buying a few here and there every week (especially when it was cheap back in June). He setup a wallet on blockchain.info with a username and password with 3.5 BTC in it. When I logged into the wallet to check, I saw the BTC. I didn't get the private key to transfer funds out. He told me to send him the XC and I will get the private key. Well, I sent the XC, but he never sent anything and changed the password very quickly. This person wont return my emails. His email is passat.ltc@gmail.com - He goes by Michail Hoffman. I lost my life savings. 4 months of saving XC and it's all gone due to greed for some quick turn around cash. I feel bad. If anyone knows how to get my XC back, please help. Why did you do an off-exchange exchange? You could have seen this coming. I hope you get your XC back, I can't help you with it though, sorry. |

I think the mobile wallet should have XChat included, but I also think you should be able to download XChat separate from the wallet so that people who don't want the wallet can still be anonymous on the Internet.
Why not keep the wallet section anyway. people dont have to use it, but one day it might come in handy for them and they might go and buy some XC.  Some people might not want it for some reason and I think XC should respect that. But that is just my opinion. |

Which means, my screen and a lot of other people to.
Just consider changing it to another font or at least have an option to change it.
You do realize they are discussing the mobile wallet app UI, right? If your phone can't run apps, why are you even complaining? I am not complaining, I am just giving feedback on how it looks. But I guess I shouldn't, because I don't have the correct phone. |

Ultra-thin fonts are the trend these days. They're seen as elegant. Previously they weren't employed because lower screen resolutions make then look pixelated. The advent of retina screens and HD smartphones have changed all that, fortunately. :-) It looks crap on screens that aren't retina. Which means, my screen and a lot of other people to. Just consider changing it to another font or at least have an option to change it. What's your screen resolution? More relevantly, what's the resolution of your phone's screen? Regardless of how it looks on any given device, it's a good idea to stick to design trends when you're a new brand entering the market. We need to look current. My laptop screen size is 1600*900.
