Using a strategy of 5% win chance, 6% increase on loss, return to base bet on win, I got a lose streak of 173 and then I stopped rolling to not loose everything. It's good to mention the probability to get 173 loosing steps in a row that is 0.01 %.
I didn't get this event on any other dice site that I used so far because the probability is incredible small, but not for freedoge.co.in.

Also, if I have calculated correctly, with a 5% win chance and 10,000 rolls you have a 6.669% probability of a losing streak of 173. With 100,000 rolls, this increases to 50.335%. So, it is not as improable as you may think. it's a fun time waster but I think it's a scam frankly. the hi/lo game claims you 'win' if you hit "hi" above 5250, however I've had numbers rolled higher than 5250 that don't pay so i think it's either a scam or their program has a major bug and they don't care because it benefits them. though i don't know how since it's a free game anyway!
The numbers that you need to hit to win change when you change the multiplier value. I would like it if you could post a screenshot where you were supposed to win but didn't and also the seeds for the roll if you have them. |

With a 5% house edge, and based on the number of rolls this site gets (which reduces variance and smoothes out user luck, which can be lumpy), shouldn't the profit margin on the dice game be relatively close to 5%? We actually have a lot more variance than other dice websites because most of our users only make small bets and so a few high rollers can create a lot more ups and downs for the bankroll. However, things have been looking u the last couple of days. That makes sense. So at this point, with ads off, is all the revenue the site generates then from people who deposit coins for the purpose of gambling? We still have in-house ads which show up occasionally. Other than that the revenue comes from people gambling and some buying lottery tickets. |

I actually don't mind a few ads if it means a higher rewards, lol. freedoge is still having a few ads, am I correct? Yes, freedoge.co.in still has ads but they will probably be removed soon as well. On both sites, users can still create ads and only those will be shown apart from 1 banner every 24 hours per user from a-ads, so not 100% ad-free but about 90%. If I could give out higher rewards by having more ads, I would but from my experience apart from Adsense, the income from other ad networks is quite unreliable so I am unable to make any long term commitments to pay out higher rewards. Hence I made the decision to just remove the ads and make the claim process easier (1 page instead of 2 pages previously). I plan on adding more games to the website and hope to make up the revenue shortfall from there. Also the rewards are now lower because of the increasing bitcoin price which has gone up about 50% in the last couple of weeks. I actually wouldn't mind too if you put a little ads but still on the same claim amount, just make sure you didn't suffer any loss. I think that is the least we can do. I've been using this faucet for some time and, in fact, this is the only faucet i still use. Putting the ads back would only help about 10-20% but would inconvenience users a lot more hence I am reluctant to do that. All ads made via our website have to go through a manual review process so we have a lot more control over them but from what I have seen other ad networks do not have any kind of controls in place which results in flashing and distracting banners showing up which i really dislike. I want a long term solution and current ad networks only provide a short term fix. Do not worry about my losses, I am here for the long run and have a few thousand bitcoin of my own to back the website so short term losses do not concern me much as long as I can create a sustainable system for the website to keep paying out for years to come. |

We are provably fair and all rolls can be verified. Sometimes the server that stores the rolls history gets overloaded and so rolls can take a bit longer to show up in the rolls history (even then the delay should not be more than a minute or two). If any rolls are missing, please let me know the nonces that are missing and I shall check but I doubt that any are, it is just slow at times.
Previously when we had adsense ads we had different rewards based on the user's country as we earned different revenue from users of different countries. However since adsense blocked the website from their service, I have just normalised the rewards so the average rewards are still the same but they are now equal for all countries. Most other faucets who got their adsense accounts disabled have either shut down or reduced their rewards drastically but I have been able to keep the rewards more or less the same. We are still paying out 3.5 - 4 bitcoin in free play rewards and affiliate commissions every single day and I doubt that there are many other faucets that can claim to do the same.

I don't know. I'm pretty sure I am done with this site. It has taken a massive turn down the shady side IMO. I have used this site for almost 3 years now and it is the only 'faucet' I have used in a long time because it paid well and the rolls win % were actually pretty close to what the site said.
Now, since the site was updated the other week, hourly payouts are crap and with a weekly payout limit of 25000 means that someone rolling the smallest amount would have to roll 86 times in one week to get a payout. That means that they need to roll 12 hours each day to get your goal of 25000 in one week.. Before this change, with the 10k weekly payout I was able to meet it in about 20-30 rolls.. Also now after each hourly roll you get that annoying popup shows every time. Obviously you want people to roll and give you back the btc they won. Which leads me to the multiply btc part..
Before whatever on the site changed (for 2 years probably), my win % used to be pretty close to that 47.5% until the other week when the site was updated. Now it is at like 34% win rate over the past 40 rolls. Even the roll history isnt correct. I rolled 5 times this morning, won the first roll and lost the following 4 rolls but the site only shows my win, while my balance is at 0. Sure it could just be crap luck.
And yes, i know what you are going to say "Its a faucet, what do you expect? its based off btc price!" and yes, I know that but with the 10+ ads shoved in your face every hour, plus the miniscule hourly payout now, plus the "C'mon and multiply that btc!", plus the 25000 weekly payout. You have no choice but to attempt to roll your winnings in order to get the payout that week. Unless you happen to have 86 hours available each week to roll or you get lucky and win more than the lowest. I run several ad-supported websites do i know with all those ads the site probably makes some decent change per user. I dont use those advertisers, but still..

Although the game is fun to play with the faucet but the risk so big of losing all. Why not lower the house edge for people who deposit and not playing the faucet. Possible this will attract more serious players. I am working on a points system that people can accumulate and then use to lower their house edge, increase free play rewards among other things. |
