421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: September 20, 2018, 10:58:24 PM
Presently, converting you bitcoin to ethereum might not be advisable. Just like i have been telling people, if you have fiat, this is the best time for you to buy either ethereum or bitcoin, from which you can also get others you would like to have.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: September 20, 2018, 10:48:02 PM
If you are going to hodl in this space, you have to be very careful of what to hodl and how long to hodl, because while holding sometimes, you might feel you are holding a genuine coin, whereas in another sense of it, you are holding shit coin that will not last for long.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First bounty Experience till 10000$ on: September 20, 2018, 10:42:03 PM
I joined this forum early this year, so i missed so many bounties that my friends joined. That not withstanding, was still able to join some profitable ones and this gave me more confidence that towards the end of this year, most bounties will yield better results.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Better? on: September 19, 2018, 07:44:46 PM
The question seems not to be very clear, but i think i can understand you to an extent. When engaging in either long term trading or day trading, that which is better? This depend on what you prefer as prefer individual and which you know how to do best. Both are actually good ways of earning, but try to learn first before going fully into any of the two.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC cycle to be repeated? on: September 19, 2018, 07:29:30 PM
There are lots of determinant factors that bring about price change in the crypto space. A typical example of such is the news that is being disseminated.  Most of the price changes we have had, were directly or indirectly influenced by news. Depending on the kind of info that is being peddled, then we would know if the market will recover or not.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Milestones and Deliverables on: September 19, 2018, 05:54:32 PM
Every ICO or project in the crypto space has its milestones, that is, checkpoints that signify achievements made or to be made, as well as deliverables, which are the actually outcomes of the project, which signifies its ultimate success.
It is quite unfortunate that we still have projects in the crypto space that give milestones that are not achievable. This act most times gives the impression of the project being scam.
Developers have to come to a point where, they should be realistic and only state what they can achieve or are able to do.
Some ICOs have folded up today, not because they are outright scams, but because their goals and aspirations are unachievable, which makes them to have zero deliveries.
Developers should be realistic, by giving us good projects with tangible deliverables.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: September 19, 2018, 05:38:39 PM
I can't imagine myself investing into scam ICO almost every time and i feel the sane thing is applicable to virtually everyone. Which is why we need to learn how to analyze ICOs before investing. The first thing that should attract every investor, should be a uniquely well written  and not copied from another ICO. The content must be original. The project must also have its tokens or coins backed up with a good product and a working team.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The crypto space must be sanitized on: September 19, 2018, 05:16:08 PM
We are in a system where so many ICOs come in to attract investors. Some end up succeeding, while a larger percentage either fail or end up being scam.
Yes, we are operating in a decentralized system, where individuals are in full control of their assets. Yet, a decentralized system can still be controlled under a trusted body, when it comes to lunching an ICO.
Yes, every developer has the right to lunch an ICO and we have ICO listing sites. Since most of these sites have compromised in their listing, why don't we have a trusted body, that would volunteer, without collecting any charges, at least to sanitize and purge the system of scam ICOs.
Every developer that registers with them should be questioned and be ensured to have good integrity.
Then investors will have the confidence to invest into any of the projects.
Well, this may not outrightly nullify other ICOs from lunching independently.
This is just a suggestion.
Views, comments and contributions are welcomed.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Patience: The key factor to succeeding in the crypto space on: September 19, 2018, 04:48:02 PM
A lot of folks do not understand what it means to the patient, most especially when it comes to cryptocurrency. Crypto is not a ponzi, where you just come in with the mindset of rushing out. Which is why many fall victim of scam projects and shit coins.
When you want to invest into any project, no matter how attractive it might look superficially, take your time to study it. Know the intent of the project and the team behind it.
Whatever you do not understand about a project, ask on their social media. Most times, telegram is used as a channel for open communication. So ask questions until you are satisfied.
Therefore, patience is key, because every other factor (intelligence, smartness, astuteness, experience, name it) will look useless if not taken into cognisance.
Thanks.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We're like this because of decentralization and no regulation? on: September 19, 2018, 04:31:54 PM
There is no need to centralize the system. Although, the decentralized nature of it has its own disadvantages. My view about it now is that, most of those in the crypto space now have learnt a lot of lessons, most especially in identifying the right project to invest in. Investing in a project with a good and sound product will not only help the developer or those who invest into it, but that it will also bring sanity to the crypto space.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the current market situation turn better? on: September 13, 2018, 11:15:19 PM
If you coins have plummeted so much,i would advise you do not sell, if you can be patient enough to wait, most of the coins you have will rise again. The market will recover soon. I can perceive a better side of the market come up.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: except for bitcoin, what is your prefer? on: September 13, 2018, 11:13:22 PM
I do not think bitcoin can be banned and it it is banned, it will affect all other altcoins. So to find a replacement might be very hard. That not withstanding, i see no reason why bitcoin will be banned, because it i already established.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: September 12, 2018, 09:21:03 PM
Crypto still has a long way to go and the main essence is yet to be accomplished. This is a technology that would be adopted by almost every government of the world. I am waiting for the time that all countries of the world would make it a legal tender.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a very prosperous year for cryptocurrency on: September 12, 2018, 09:12:56 PM
Those who manipulate the crypto market are just like a group. They are also involved in spreading FUD. They instigate others through their ignorance, to spread more FUD that would cause panic. It is more or less like a chain, where they cannot do it all by themselves, but succeed in influencing them.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: September 12, 2018, 09:03:10 PM
This i think is a general thing. Most bounties these days do not pay fast. Some complain about the market and would tell you they are waiting for the market to improve first before paying prior to listing. You do not need to give up. I still believe that the market will get better.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best ICO? on: September 12, 2018, 08:52:33 PM
I am yet to know what i would earn, because the first and only ICO i have invested in is yet to be officially listed. I strongly believe in the future of that project. The project is called XYO Network. Despite being my first time, i know i have not made any mistake investing into it.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ETH yesterday and guess what happened next on: September 11, 2018, 11:16:12 PM
Eth has not yet recovered. I just hope that bitcoin does not get below $6000, else it would affect altcoins, most especially ethereum and we might see it go very low again. I also think the the FUD about eth should be stopped, so that we can have a stable price.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fail 2018?! on: September 11, 2018, 10:48:05 PM
Someone sometimes ago predicted $50 and I said it cannot be possible. Now i am seeing $10. I strongly feel that by forth quarter, ethereum will rise to the amazement of many dumpers. I am still buying ethereum, because i believe it will rise again.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: September 11, 2018, 10:42:07 PM
I know of several projects that have failed and if i can remember vividly, so many of them do not have products. Several of these projects come from airdrop. Although, there are very good airdrop in the space. It's just that they are not as good as they used be.
440  Other / Archival / Re: Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2018, 08:24:16 PM
So many hopes were awakened on ethereum for some time, but now it seems the hopes are dying down gradually. Nonetheless, i still foresee a good future for ethereum. It might not be the nest bitcoin, but it will surely perform well in the crypto space. Bitcoin will always take the lead and for now it does not have any rivalry.
