422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Laundering on: November 17, 2017, 11:09:21 AM
Some say that you cant claim or transfer your bitcoin to a bank because they will suspect you of laundering.

They are literally scared of this giant that's taking over the world and they are losing on us with their traditional banking system which is why they don't want it to sustain longer and are using cheap techniques in order to make you stop using it, either voluntarily or forcefully.

Quote
So if youre using Bitcoin, youre basically a laundering and a criminal Huh

Obviously not. If you were, why countries like Japan and South Korea have gone all in on this by giving green signal to it?
Governments that say that using Bitcoins is clearly money laundering, don't really understand the meaning of what "laundering" is termed as.
If you show them how you obtained it and if it is legally obtained, none of those freaking puppets could exterminate anything of you.
Just remember, if Bitcoin comes into your country's tax slab, you need to pay it or you may come under their radar.

424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fantasy crypto portfolio on: November 07, 2017, 08:22:02 PM
Do you still believe in XRP as well as think that it will catch up?
Do you have 100k USD invested in all of them that you have shown?
Can you suggest one single coin out of the list that's presented in your portfolio for us to follow?
I wish to hear your suggestions on XRP especially because I am still holding it, and possibilities of it reaching back to those high prices where I bought them at.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NAVcoin x2 tomorrow on: November 07, 2017, 08:13:48 PM
No sources, no links, who are you? why should we trust in you? we dont even know who are you and if you are a real developer or something who knows what the Navcoin is going to do.
If you are saying it because it is really going to happen, try to explain yourself a little bit more, anyway, i have been looking at the market of Navcoin and it seems good, but it is not a good time to enter because you are facing a huge bearish trend, be careful guys.

It was just a ^NICE TRY^ by the OP to convince us to buy in for them to recover their "loss" they must be suffering due to the dumps that took place in the NAV market after those 22500 and 17500 price pumps. But I see a possibility for the coin to rise up a few % but not 2x because the charts are still showing bearish signs but a triangle pattern is being formed and a breakout is near which will decide the moves it will make. Hope you will succeed with this trade OP.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: November 07, 2017, 08:05:04 PM
6 month holding life running with altcoin. I don't get any profit from altcoin. my question is really have any future for altcoin? I just tired with altcoin.please drop your suggestion.
thankss😭

I believe that the choices you made could be wrong.
Either the coins you chose could be the ones which were never meant to increase in value due to their shady nature or something unusual related to it OR the time you got in, could have been wrong (like if you see some pump going on in a coin and you decide to jump in and then, it starts getting dumped). This has happened to me many times, but if that's the case with you too then change your habits of doing it.
- Don't buy a coin if it's already high and if you do, don't expect more than 10-20% profits.
- Don't follow tips that you get on these channels (I believe they just want us to buy "their" coins that they already buy cheaper and then signal us of some price hikes).
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of BTC SegWit2x? on: November 07, 2017, 07:59:03 PM
What do you expect will be the price of BTC in the forked Segwit 2x version?

Thanks,

Ed

Are you asking about the price of Bitcoins after s2x Hard fork?
Or is it for the B2X value? Currently, it's near to 1350 USD a coin for B2X futures and I believe that it will drop as they are just trying to make some free money out of it. Bitcoin will get closer to the 6500 level and stabilize for some days after which the boom period will start again and make it cross the next level of 11k which is in talks now.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 07, 2017, 07:53:39 PM
Will sewgit2x play a positive or negative role for Bitcoin?

What are your thoughts on this matter?

All I know about the only positive thing it could bring to everyone (or maybe not) is free money on the table.
There's nothing else that can be expected for s2x to play role in Bitcoin's viability because this is just some "shit" that the developers are possibly trying to throw "forcefully" over us to accept their decision but they all know that nobody currently locks in to support s2x and this will only affect the pricing to drop down a bit for Bitcoins. Do you think this is positive?
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Between Ether and Bitcoin, which will be on top in 5 years? on: November 07, 2017, 07:45:55 PM
Do you think Ether will catch up? The technology is more advanced, but will scalability of ethereum be an issue?

IMHO, nothing could beat Bitcoins because it holds the majority of the market share and something that holds the cause for the existence of this "crypto" world could not be put behind by any such technology for whatsoever reasons. If it was to put it behind, why is it slipping during Bitcoin's rise?
This shows the superiority of Bitcoins has taken an all new level and can put everything too much behind where none of these could even try to catch up.
430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing vs Trading and why? on: November 07, 2017, 07:40:49 PM
Hi everyone...

Just a newbie and am planning to put some money into crypto. Now the thing which is stopping me is whether I should go for trading as the currency is volatile and can give some quick gains or buy it and sleep over it for a few years. Or should I go with 50% trading and 50% investing.

Need experts guidance please

Trading needs experience and investing needs patience.
Trading could give you results but you may also possess the risk of losing while investing doesn't possess that risk to a higher extent.
Trading could make you sell in panic while if you invest, you will need to wait and you can wait for a long time and reap the profits out of it.
Trading could be dangerous if no stop loss has been put, but investing could let you win over time.
I believe you are smart enough to take this decision on your own after me elaborating everything here.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: minning is it cheap or not ? on: November 07, 2017, 07:35:19 PM
what is the minimum Graphic card to start minning ?

You will need ASICs to mine Bitcoins nowadays because GPUs won't work out for this.
GPU can be used for coins like Bitcoin Gold and I feel that AMD's GPUs could give you the best results if you decide to mine BTG.
Try out some other algorithms as well if you go for GPU, but Bitcoin, ETH, LTC and other few high valued coins' difficulty is too high to even think of mining them.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will down on: November 07, 2017, 06:59:04 PM
Everyone know Bitcoin is up to 50000 CNY. It is terrible. I admit Bitcoin is the first digital currency and it is more important than others. But after BCC,BTG were folked i do not think so. And is it fast, the answer is obvious. So technically it is not a good currency. Why people have belief on it? The price is from 16000 to 50000 in two months, it is just up,up and up. So what do u think about it?

First of all, they were not "folked" but forked.
Bitcoin Cash was up by devs with the intention of making block size to 8 MB per block, do you think your PC's space would survive it?
Bitcoin Gold was made for those who are interested in mining Bitcoins but cannot due to its SHA256 nature, for which these guys brought something which could be mined using GPUs. Do you think it's that valuable? I don't.
Now, the third one but won't be the last (I am sure some more types of Bitcoins will be up in future) is B2X which was shown to everyone as an upgrade but is clearly a split. Bitcoin is carrying its principles, doing major upgrades remaining under the protocol and being the first, I don't think there's any reason left for investors to trust Bitcoins.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler destroyed on: November 07, 2017, 06:46:34 PM
The win streaks that I saw are least in comparison to losing ones and I really can't believe that there could be a strategy that could survive for longer duration because once the glitch or strategy gets leaked to the site owner, they will do anything to protect the house as well as their bankroll. Your bankroll was very high and it's good that you made profits but everyone cannot afford such amounts because of the price of Bitcoins. If we calculate exactly, you must have put in ~$2100 (based on the price in August) which is too much and unaffordable to lose in a dice site. I have never seen any mechanisms that could beat the house edge forever as they will, someday, betray you.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your ETH to buy BTC right now? on: November 07, 2017, 06:36:09 PM
I've been considering selling my ETH all day to put into BTC. Just can't make up my mind

That's a good decision tbh because the value of ETH is sliding in flow with the alts' destruction going on with Bitcoin on the rise.
But have it sold immediately and buy back after hard fork as alts are surely going to see a great recovery after we pass this.
ETH and other solid looking alts (only a few ones) will survive and others which were just for pumps won't remain in the game.
435  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Whats the easiest/best exchange to use for a beginner in crypto? on: November 07, 2017, 06:22:18 PM
Exchange for Bitcoins?
There are many - LocalBitcoins, Coinbase, Kraken, BitFinex.

For altcoins, you may try Poloniex, Liqui, Bittrex, HitBtc, Binance. Polo and Bittrex hold the highest amount of volume in terms of trading (based on my knowledge) so you should definitely try them. However, Bittrex needs KYC verification now according to their current policy.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: The psychology of a HODLer on: November 07, 2017, 06:13:53 PM
I see you are still here on the forum and since your question was from 2014, I would ask you in 2017 currently that how do you really feel?
Sympathetic for those who waited till now in the faith that BTC will rise, which it proved?
OR for yourself, who sold off when emergencies were there or sold all immediately in a panic?
Am not against your decision then, but now I "feel" for you. It's the courage that gives us the strength to hold and hold so long.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pricing on: November 07, 2017, 06:08:42 PM
Why the price of bitcoin is changing quite fast....Why so?

To cope up with the coming fork that could lead the price to disastrous dumps and sudden drops because all this will make a lot of confusion occur in the markets with investors and miners to be seen as referees to decide their execution over the majority issues that are currently going on. I still believe that the current Bitcoin will dominate all these "alts" that are trying to take its place.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: November 07, 2017, 03:09:11 PM
Expecting too much from Bitcoins is not good atm because it is currently facing one of the most challenging days in its history and the rage is now increasing too much when the Hard Fork is becoming imminently going to take place on 16th Nov even after no such support that's needed by them. This time, it will be a decisive stance taken, not just by the community alone but the investors and miners. I believe 50k looks good and could be reached but I don't even see a 100k till 2020 because it will need superb volumes and that will not be achieved soon as many countries (including mine) are now trying to come up with their fiat-based cryptocurrencies making Bitcoin's acceptance hard.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the Value of BTC at December 2018? on: November 07, 2017, 02:54:05 PM
Many rumors about BTC value
What can you say about this...
BTC will hit 10,000 USD next year?
How much do you think?

Let me correct you, not rumors but speculations.
When the price managed to make 7.6x alone this year, do you think that getting another 2500 (a 35% surge) in the value will be any harder?
I believe it all depends on the choice of investors whether they will keep mining current BTC or will switch to B2X for some reasons. If BTC still goes on with the majority in support, none can stop it from getting to 10k this year itself.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price on: November 07, 2017, 02:46:36 PM
Will bitcoin price get to 7500-8000$ before the fork?

The price corrected to near 6950 today after topping 7600 which looks to turn as a resistance now and 8k is still possible because the price is still not dropping at a pace it used to drop when it used to be a pump before, so this is clearly not a bubble which others are commenting thinking it is. According to the momentum of markets, I think it should not be a problem for BTC to go above 8k.
