I donīt know whats the stress all around here. After the fork everything seems to be fine. Small issues with masternode payment is not that common. Pools which are still wrong will fix it also soon. The more people try to send pressure to devs isnīt good at all. Let them do their work and not getting rid of all this and throwing things away. Consider that a normal working day has 8h and not 24/7. If you are stressed because you bought in on high levels, come down and have a walk or something else to bring you to other things in your mind. If you personally like to work 16-20h a day, donīt expect this level from all others. DRK isnīt finished yet and there is a lot of work to do. Also people who decide to go with DRK have to accept these issues and have also work with their own wallets to be up to date. After i read the last pages a lot of people didnīt even work out to update their own wallets before fork happend. |

I see the momentary decline in price only related to DRK. I myself did a lot of research over the last three months and i endend in two coins.
DRK and VTC. I think a lot of people also were on the same track and as now for the moment DRK made the game a lot of VTC were sold for DRK.
As i tanked DRK on low levels i did not sold any VTC for DRK and only watch the game on the sideline and still have my VTC.
As BTC is the uptrend and LTC in the downtrend it looks like LTC with all the Asic miners going for ROI itīs time for me to say goodby LTC.
I already bought another 500 VTC the last days for LTC.

LOL, I won't get rich from this as I don't have enough dark, however if I did, I don't need a divorce, just a separate house that I can keep CLEAN! And a little time away. LOL I would wish only to not have to work 8h each day as i was hit by cancer. I was fighting a few years and now i am again on the way back on the track and back in life But will never be able to to as i did 20years before. I still belive heavyly in drk and as i don't want to loose some more DRK in daytrading i did send them home into my wallet to protect myself for doing stupid things. Good luck to all of you. As i decided to go into drk i had no daubts it could be very sucessfull.
A point i didn't had on the sreen is that too much cryptocoinusers wont like to have
any coin than btc and ltc to succed, no matter what it will be able to add into cryptoworld.
Too much haters around here. Also the comments on the coindesk article shows that more people than i expected will fight against. Also eduffield could be scrared to go on with his great work with soo much hate around.

Get proof of working darksend ! that's it . And starting at the next big solution . Does it not mean the owners of the masternodes get paid a lot of Darkcoin though? Yes they get paid 10% of all the coins get mined, miners only have left over 90%, but it has nothing to do with the coin supply. Mining gets less profitable and masternodeowner get payed in drk for their service. If you want to have a a masternode too, go and buy 1000Drk and set up on. |

But that's the real trick. It's easy to say buy-low and sell-high, but in my experience it rarely works out that way. Ive bought other coins at what appeared to be low values, only to see them go lower still. It's a 50-50 guess when I buy if it will go up or down from that point. I know that some folks have what appears to be a magic touch, but im my experience, just selling the mined coins at market has produced a steady return. That's what my wife likes to see. I have to bring money in or I get badgered about it all the time. As for a hobby, I already have tonnes more computer equipment than the average joe, so that doesn't fly well with her either. The only way I could get into mining was to commit to pay back the investment as quickly as possible. So if you were mining drk in the past you would not have only one over but your wive is happy. For me it works more than a lottery, buy a ticket and wait until the jackpot is out of the box. |

I don't see all these problems with anonymos transaction. That is not a feature, its a must be for a currency.

You're not wrong, just not a DRK holder yet. Still a way to go before we go above Litecoin I still see no reason why not beeing into VTC. I also was weeks ago on two coins, DRK and VTC as stupid bagholder. DRK has it days now and is great, VTC will have its days also soon. Asicīs overcomming scrypt networks and miners need a new home. For me both coins are no longer minable as i can buy 50% more coins a day than mine them on 0.36$ / kwh in europe. For my dayly buy ( money i normally would spend on electricity for mining ) in prefer VTC for the moment My DRK are safe home into wallet instead beeing on a exchange. I feel that people who mining .... or steal electricity or steal coins Who sells at this price I like VTC, it's saved my GPU's from becoming paperweights. That said, I don't "hold" VTC, as im still trying to eek-out my ROI for my rigs. Thus, I mine and then I sell at market. Not trying to be mean, once I reach ROI I would probably hold the coin, but for now I need to pay back my account to keep my wife happy. She's expecting regular payments comming back in from the equipment. but ... ... wait... you mean you have free electricity or THAT cheap? Since I see no other reason how you could get roi with this price against electricity mining cost... So if you doing this way you are lucky man living in place where you afraid not of electricity costs.... for me its like 0.23$ per kwh + I pay monthly costs of landing room + lpg in around 400 usd .... :/ So honestly if I would cash out from every coin I mined since a longer while till now then it would be like losing loads of usd daily because of mining... in this way if I had choice mine and sell vs turn off rigs ... yes the second choice would have more sense :/ So shit... As a long term client of BTC-E, whom I'm a great fan of btw, after doing a good six figures USD worth of trades there yesterday I opened a support ticket to request that they added Darkcoin, they replied today, which I quote in full (sik), and it seems that this isn't going to be happening, certainly not in the foreseeable future anyway:

I thought DRK was another pump and dump... Waited and waited for the bubble to pop and it didn't / hasn't.. Read more and more about the coin, liked it more and more, and I may now grab some... I am kicking myself as I should have done more research but was put off the coin by some of the comments in the VTC thread...
I am watching DRK for weeks now and build up a base of coins over that time. It was my second favourite after VTC. After loosing a lot of money on LTC i finally decided to cut my LTC loss and switched a quarter of them to DRK. After it begun too rise from 130K to 200K the first time i begun to feel thinking it is more worth to hold DRK than BTC. The next step was trying to build up my DRK by daytrading. On the run to 640K i lost around 86 DRK i wasnīt able to buy back on a bigger loss. Finally i transfered now all my drk from mint and cryptsy to my wallet, stored into wallet.dat, took it on serveral medium and places and only follow this now from the sideline. I have not the skills to run a masternode and thatīs the only reason why i did not fill up my wallet finally up to 1000 DRK. I thought this might happen. Edit - I did suggest an IPO a few hundred pages back for a master node as a service offering; Evan suggested a kind of fractional ownership a few pages back. Clearly we need an element of trust between someone with the technical skills to set-up and manage a master node and those with DRK to invest. The trust bit causes all sorts of problems, and asking someone to run a master nodes is time consuming and therefore adds to the cost. I'll have a think about some options to get over this. Yes, trust a third party is main thing here. Momentary a masternode has worth DRK of 14BTC which is around 6.5K$ Evan had the idea maybe somone make a service that looks like a pool that collect 1000 DRK from users to set up a masternode and shares the profit to users and get paid a fee for the service. First i thought, wow great - but thinking about it for a while i change my mind in thinking about scam and itīs too risky in danger of loose DRK for a profit. Way to solve this could be a image like BAMT. I would also be willing to pay a fee of my profit for such a service. |

LTC is dead.... Just will take longer to happen....
Maybe, but also maybe not. Thereīs nothing that make me think it wonīt go down but consider it is #2 in crypto now and will stay for longer time on this place in future. Thatīs a very big advance. There are a lot of bagholders, but there are also a lot of people that have to reach their ROI they spend on not now delivered and maybe getting worthless Asics hardware. The only way to do so is to dump all LTC you mine. If not something strange will happen to BTC price ( uptrend ) we will see a steady LTC decline. With all this in my mind a can not decide to dump my last LTC and convert in to DRK as i would do this with a big loss in FIAT for now. |
