Pretty much Graviton is a scammer. He's made his money from NXT and now trying a new scam (NAS). I love how he pretends to warn people that NAS could be manipulated (as if he is covering his arse because he knows what is going on).
You can't tell from DGEX.com that he has made a killing, I don't think he was an original investor or DGEX would look like Coinbase. |

With all these PoS coins around are there any that are actually worth investing in? I haven't done much research on PoS coins and thought it may be time to buy some, or not...
I'm not sure, my trading advice is deadly i would not inflict that on anyone. Make a thread, and ask. POS seems a good way to go for energy efficiency... a lot of coins will introduce it soon i'm sure. So back to nxt and the clones... who can clone nxt and give more than 11 people a fair chance at getting a reasonable amount. I would be into a new PoS NXT or other clone that is fairly distributed. Faircoin attempted some sort of fair distribution, but then shit happened, the devs either got greedy or they fucked up. Blackcoin seems to be doing okay, it was distributed with PoW as we all know. So I guess the real question is how to distribute a PoS coin fairly? Facebook? - no many alts can be created and some people already have that. Captcha with IP address verification - no some people have access to many IP addresses. Sysadmins for instance. Airdrop - scams with centralized control BTCTalk accounts? - no many alternate accounts held by members. IPO - no it doesn't work for fair distribution. I don't know if this is possible but how about this approach - We take an established coin and use its addresses for fair distribution for this example lets say we decide to use LTC. A snapshot of the LTC blockchain is taken at a set date. The PoS coin uses the addresses to hand out coins. If you have say 5 addresses in your LTC wallet you'll be able to import those into the new PoS coin and for each one you get a set amount of new PoS coins. Can something like this work? Kinda like what Protoshares does. NEM coin |

NAS distribution is WAY worse than Nxt's distribution. The giveaway means nothing in real terms.
Someone needs to release a nxt clone that does not allow 11 people to hold 71% of the coins.... how difficult can it be.

Im pretty sure the distribution model is one of the main reasons newbies are drawn to NEM. I think in the long run for mass adoption of NEM - initial distribution most likely wont be of a conern as it is in the initial stages. Anyone who invested a full bitcoin into NXT, which was only 4-5 people ($130 at the time) got around 47M NXT. Valued at $6.5M a few times this year, I'm 99% sure that 99% of their stakes have been distributed at this point. Wouldn't you have already sold and quietly moved to Guatemala or Honduras by now? |

I believe once BitCoin gets back above $600 we will start to see the Alts moving up as well. We are working hard to keep spreading the world but need your help as well. Mintpal is under attack. It is very wise to move LTC from there until the situation is resolved. I doubt it has to do with Karmacoin. BTCe was as well today. Glad I don't keep any of my coins on the exchanges. You never know when something will happen. |

Are you sure Graviton was an initial stake holder of NXT? I don't think so, otherwise his website would look like Coinbase. I do love their Offspring client, we need to copy the shit out of that IMHO. |

I did the same for my first 50 millions a 5 satoshis, the next millions bougt was at 20 ltc satoshi and 10 ltc satoshi.
Now i keep the coin to help the price to go up and i will not sell it for a long time .
More like 9-10, but look where bitcoin is now, down 50% as well, so even if Karma hadn't been multipool attacked and we hadn't gone down, we would all have suffered a huge loss since everything still must be judged through the value of bitcoin exchange. One doesn't suffer a loss until one sells at a loss, or loses coins hehe Of course, but try explaining that to my wife |

auction is a good idea, would be cool if NEM would be known for trying new things and having fresh ideas. A community who is not just following old patterns but actively creates new ones will be much more interetsing and attractive to all kinds of investors.
Im not afraid of NAS, but NXTL makes me a little nervous.
Hope that market wont get saturated with 2.gen too quickly.
What is differences with NXTL and NEM? I have given a look and screenshots look good for NXTL I don't know what NXTL is, but in case its a copy of NXT, thats a difference. NXTL is another launch that is coming, funding has been sketchy as dev's English is a little rough, and he was eventually forced to stop funding until he showed some actually working code. They recently completed "Phase 3" which was a web based client that assigned original genesis wallet. Seems to be coming along, maybe launch before NEM is completed. I've invested in NXT since January, but it's crazy that DGEX.com hasn't increased it's security or graphical interface, I wouldn't want to launch NEM on that exchange first, as lack of 2-step verification is often a non-starter for many. I would hope we launch on mintpal, or cryptsy if they have fiat by then. |

No. It won`t be real. For 2 and a half years I have never saw a pool or site like coinwarz that is giving exact values. What is real is what you actually mine. Stop looking at this numbers, because they will never be real no matter what coin you are mining and no matter what pool you are using. The same is valid for the hash rate. The real thing is what you see in miner, not what you see in pool stats. And nobody is trying to cheat on anybody, there are just some obstacles that does not allow this numbers to be exact. Amen brother. Everyone needs to hang in there. I bought 450M, mostly at 4-5 Sats, I haven't sold any yet. This coin will rise from the ashes of the BitCoin dump, we have the name, a great team, and will be ready later this year when investors come pouring back in. To paraphrase Buffet, this is not the time to be fearful, but the time to be greedy. |
