Well i still got this thread on my watchlist, i still trade BOD at some times, providing you folks some liquidity and better pricing.

But i`m not buying any for long term until i see more activity in this thread.

makes sense... thank you for being here

there is not much activity, you are correct
mostly me talking to myself and to pool/node owners Smiley

only sometimes community member posts

Watching this altcoin closely, if it performs good i`ll buy some of it, but please work harder on it.

with all the updates since launch i worked very hard
i wish more developers can join me.

i plan next to create light-weight wallet
maybe web wallet and android

and long term working on crowdfunding platform

I would like some input from the community too, for what you want to see next. and how to grow the coin.
we have right now everything a coin needs to make a start: good pools, small exchange, nodes.
Yobit works great until now, and responsive to wallet upgrades.
we tried to get into bittrex and c-cex, so far unsuccessful.

I think that i was dedicated to the coin, making fixes quick, and respecting miners (i hope that some made good profits)

2 firsts:

 1. first quark with masternodes
 2. in opposite few recent coins. experimental reduce in block size - because it is a very fast block rate, 200000bytes block size is big enough, because we want to transmit the blocks quickly.

please update your wallets to 0.11.2.28 !

I see at least 2 nodes with 0.11.2.26
please update... when new wallet syncing and connected to node with 0.11.2.26 it slows down blocks downloads.

thank you !

isn't it good thing ? maybe some no-scam coins will gain more value
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin -Earn while you solve cures for Cancer. June 11 2015 Client update on: July 16, 2015, 03:19:48 PM
I don't know whether this topic has already been dicussed before (and 150 pages is too much to read  Tongue) but I'd like to suggest a payment model change for CURECOIN 2.0 (and why not FLDC).

I think that the idea to share 7488 CURE per day between the folders is not going towards the general interest of the folding and there should instead be an amout of CURE that should be payed per number of points generated (eg 10kPoints = 1CURE).

Today it's like if you were in a company and for the same job you do you get payed less and less the more people the company hires.

The concept of sharing the 50 bitcoins per block makes sense for Bitcoin because as long as nobody has 51% of the hashing power, that you have 1GH/s or 1TH/s it's exactly the same as hashes don't have other purpose than securing the blockchain.

But for CURE/FLDC the more people fold the more science is done so it's interesting to stay attractive to new folders forever and have them accept to invest kWh in folding. In my opinion payment should therefore be only relative to the work done and not to which percent of the total daily work you did.

And conversion from CURE to CURE 2.0 should be done based on the number of points earned so far. Today we live in a world where 1% of people have 50% of the global wealth. Why not seize the opportunity of cryptocurrencies to build model based on merit?

I think you look wrong at this...
when more people join the folding, each folder get less CURE, but each coin can have more value. because it was more difficulty to obtain.
(just like in Bitcoin and other POW coins)

with what you suggest, a folder can get constant amount of CURE, but the more people join, the coin can have less value.

this is not a Company, but a POW 'contest' Smiley

such indicators due to the fact that his system does not properly consider the profit for SAK. Unfortunately, users will get the pool is not the profit, which it is claimed (((

For me, it is always more profitable to mine solo, if have good hashrate
in pools mining together with smaller miners is sharing

sometime i see cpu miner in suprnova so they need help of bigger users to find blocks.

i still sometimes think that crypto currency is waste of electricity
but my friend say that printing real money, and bank servers is worse...

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - Mine for medicine, Scrypt and SHA256 ASIC proof on: July 15, 2015, 02:33:21 PM
could probably use the GPUs to mine something more profitable/innovative (or right now with less loss, or with high volume market)
but i feel too morally obligated to move my rig away from f@h

Nothing wrong with helping society! Some things in life are more important than maximizing profits

unless FoldingCoin will go to the moon Smiley
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - Mine for medicine, Scrypt and SHA256 ASIC proof on: July 15, 2015, 05:00:59 AM
did they ban XCP tx completely on the new versions Huh
i don't see XCP as spam because it transfer real value, even when not transferring much BTC ... and it pay fees to miners.

btc banning legitimate usage (which pay fees) of it's blockchain ? what kind of open source is that
What do you mean "ban xcp tx" are you talking bitcoin? Because XCP and its assets still work as far as i know. What problems do you seem to be having?

i mean that bitcoin sees XCP transactions as spam... even if they pay nice fees. and are not really spamming anything

is anyone interested in joining me working for this coin ?
for forming a bigger team of people developing and promoting

especially needed is web designer, graphics designer and CSS programmer.
also needed is more promotion and community

right now only 2.3 million coins in the premine wallet. so bounties are not going to be big.
not looking to pay bounties. but i wish, if there is any developer out there in the community, to join me in a team to support the coin

it is too quiet in here

thank you for updating
also all nodes and solo miners need to update. (i see at least 2 node still with 0.11.2.26 - it is important you update too)

tested new wallet sync from scratch, and it works better now
