421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: March 23, 2024, 07:20:37 PM
My life experience shows that not everything that happens in your life should be told to someone. There are things of a personal nature, and if you don’t want to talk about them, then that’s your own business. But there are some cases when you cannot remain silent about your passion for gambling, if, for example, a person gets married, then his spouse should know about such things, over time he will find out anyway, because God makes everything secret obvious, and this is a serious issue that can affect the entire family's well-being

Of course not every stranger should not that you gamble. You dont even have to tell it yourself to others. But my idea is not to keep it in secret on purpose. There is no need to do it when nobody is at home only. If asked what your are doing or if you gamble - answer honestly. There is no need to have a special secret bank account to gamble with that money only (but it might help to those who cant control their finances). There is no need to clean browsing history straight after gambling and etc. If asked by family of friends - answer honestly. They wont judge, and they dont have right to judge you.

Concealing our gambling habits is only effective and acknowledged, for safeguarding non gamblers. Not everyone is capable of discussing gambling without being subjected to gambling someday, secretly, or openly. On other notes, gamblers are free and not outlaws. There'll be no need to hide their gambling habits. I prefer letting people know, over bottling it up. When nobody is aware, gambling awareness won't be achieved. A player can lose his awareness, but a close friend can help revive him. Condemnation and arguments instantly start, some friends cutting us out and adding salt to our game, letting others know that we gamble. These factors have led most gamblers to focus on the game, and not discuss it with anybody.

It's a self-determination, players own their life and time here. I don't think convincing anyone on what to do, when they didn't ask for our help, is a wasted effort. That is, a player who is comfortable concealing his gambling habit, isn't doing any wrong. What is most crucial is staying responsive. I've never seen where both factors keeping it a secret or not, changed the gambling behavior of the gambler. Both types of players can get addicted. Aside from addiction, third-party contributions don't count. Everyone has their purpose for any action they commit. Nobody controls the impulse of being bullied with our money.

The first mentioned on Op's list, winning jackpots, has deceived millions of naive gamblers to get into problem gambling. It's possible to win the money, but not always easy to control and maintain the funds. A new gambler who has not been wealthy, made rich in a few days will easily fall back to poverty, compared to a wealthy player. Sudden riches help a gambler achieve the fantasies in his brain. He'd want to immediately get whatever he once dreamt of, and most of the items on their Wishlist wouldn't contribute to fetching them consistent money. They'll look out for methods to fasten the growth of the funds, as it drastically dwindles, each day. Emotional stress or pains may develop in the process of achieving these goals. And watching the funds get down at a fast pace, leaves the gambler restless.

He'd gamble profusely, till the money was gone. Life changes for the person indeed, but it could be for worse. Paying for properties that he can't maintain will be bad. Once the money is gone, the player is faced with responsibilities that are too difficult for him to condone. Hence, gambling is quite too wide, and people shouldn't consider only playing for money. Being inquisitive adds to a player's confusion when he wins big. He never thought about what would be next after winning big. What will the money change in my life? How does it affect the lifestyle? Will they find themselves in trouble through this change? Holding money without long-term mastery leads to transient riches. The person will only perform best in squandering the funds.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 23, 2024, 06:39:07 PM
I considered gambling for fun to be the same as going to a bar and spending a few dollars to have a good time, and back then I often did it on the weekends with friends.
And now when I feel bored I turn to online gambling which I like to play on the weekends for just a few dollars, and I don't think much about the winnings even though they sometimes exist. Because the most important thing for me is that I can enjoy the game with my capital of only a few dollars and if it runs out I stop. And if I win I will also stop so that I can enjoy it no matter how big it is, and most importantly I can feel like I am enjoying the game.
Gambling for fun is the things that we must do to prevents the problems such as addictions that many people already had in gambling. It is okay to spends some dollars and have a good time because that's what we do when we wants to playing gambling in our spare time. But not many people can do this because many people still used more money to playing gambling and they are trying to chase the wins even if they already losses before. They change their reason for playing gambling from having fun to making money which is difficult to gets. If you wants to limits your gambling activity, you must have the other activity so you can used that activity besides of playing gambling. Your minds will not thinks about playing gambling when you are in your spare time because you will thinks to do the other activity.

Healthy gambling also includes calculated wagering on games to the player's satisfaction. However, it's not guaranteed that one would be satisfied whenever he gambles. But the few days a gambler feels like he got what he wanted, helps in balancing the interest of gamblers. Most gamblers stay limited for a long time without trying a few minutes of high wager. It all depends on the gambler's behavior and what they need. Some can maintain the new steps and stop after trying the high wager method. Without affecting their spending limit. The mistake happens when a gambler then forgets that he's meant to shortly try wagering high, and retreat, unapologically, to his low wagering habit. So, they lose it easily and run after the big money. Gamblers don't feel that urge after losing out few cents or unit dollars. Hence, the greed isn't controlled.

It's not wrong to up the amount, taking it above our capacity is quite wrong. Thereby risking the habit of the gamblers. Sometimes the casino could offer a win after wagering big, that'll be a nice amount of money, but the fun could be erased after realizing that nothing is left to go home with. Hence, the fun isn't for such a gambler. But a player who doesn't make this his principal aim of gambling feels happy to test out his fresh strategies. He rarely thinks of where his money went and chasing it is the last idea on his mind. In a nutshell, the analytical gamblers who focus on achieving happiness through gambling will get what they want. What a player has in mind while gambling affects his behavioral end product.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 06:15:51 PM
I asked him what happened? What the sudden need for financial assistance? He tried lying (I noticed from his turn) but later, he opened tell me that he had some funds on him which could possibly have sustained him until this month ending to get his salary, but he didn't know what came over him, he went to a casino last night and in the process of trying out one and two games, he gambled and lost every single penny on him, and now, he has nothing to fall back on for the few days remaining before he gets his salary for the month of March.
He got broke as a matter of gambling with greed. How can someone gamble till he lost his sences of reason of not knowing when to stop. I think that is the baisic problem of gamblers they always want to win big by chasing after loses, and end up becoming broke to the extent of depending on people or friends to survive. I guest he may have learnt his lessons this time. For me I think you should have just given him some money despite you knew he was lieying about the rent issue, then tell him never to do such again let it now be on his head.

Giving him money has double meaning between these two friends. On one side the Op gets worried about what he'd end up doing with the money. If his friend's addiction gets worse, he'd have to blame himself for sending out arms to him. Lending him money is like offering him money. It'll be difficult for the addict to think of paying back his debt. However, the addict may be reaching out for financial assistance to everyone he's ever known. What is most crucial to gamblers is having money to satisfy their gambling urge. However, if his friend, the Op, didn't send out the money, his friend could have an alternative on who's next. I think it's confusing on the side to pick on such a situation. What Op did, seems right to him, for some reasons, which include that he's a friend to the addict. But the right thing is checking up on him. It's funny he wouldn't use the money to grab food or other utilities. He'd wager them.

Hence, his journey of financial help isn't a short one. Once he bypasses this level of financial stress for a few days, he gets used to this and ends up finishing his salaries earlier every month. Within him, he's gone through this and will next time. No way everyone would understand what he's doing. People do this out of addiction. And due to the actions of addicts who wager all their money till they end up broke, my idea on Op's friends was generated. If he's not able to take care of this earlier, it could affect his progress financially. So, Op has other jobs to do, like calling him once in a while to exercise his mental capacity, and then help him deal with it if such troubles erupt again. New mistakes occur each day. Gamblers need a guide.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 22, 2024, 09:18:58 PM
Normal things can happen with the urge to win
but mistakes definitely exist and are repeated continuously by gamblers.
And losing is also normal and that's why most mistakes are repeatedly done because many of the gamblers sees things normally as if losing is part of daily lives which is true. As the losses have been accepted and expected, there will be mistakes that shall be stopped and learned but new forms of these mistakes can come out again like it has never done before. It is the cycle of doing mistakes, learning from it and on top of that, another mistake comes.

I agree with the idea of continuously experiencing fresh mistakes. Gambling is a continuous process, and we must find ourselves making mistakes. One can't master the process, because the losses keep appearing. Hence, gamblers will definitely feel like newbies at some point in their everyday gambling sessions. Embracing the mistakes and learning ways to cut them down, is better. What matters is figuring out the best idea for dealing with these mistakes? It's not the gambler's fault to feel happy after a win for instance and want to wager more in celebration of his wins. The professionals, even, get greedy while gambling, the difference is that they tend to level it and not abuse the greed. It's natural for humans to get greedy at some point. Especially when money is involved.

View gambling as though you are looking at life, problems don't end. Humans keep meeting unique versions of troubles, that keep making life look harder, but deep down it's those obstacles that make the life journey fun. Hence the gambling mistakes that continually occur help gamblers to continue gambling, and not get tired of it. Consider when you are done with a video game and feel like you've mastered it, playing it won't be fun anymore compared to when it gets harder each time you try. Gambling losses happen consistently to make players understand they haven't mastered the game. Hence the house controls it this way to get hold of every gambler's curiosity to win all the time.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: March 22, 2024, 08:55:11 PM
In many occurrences it's alarming how people win big on their last wager. The person due to the fun, doesn't think of stopping, unless determined. This rarely happen, and players do lose their last cash. Although it shows a strong urge to take the last shot, yet gamblers need to review the risks. What happens next after winning or losing the game, should be an embraced question for every gambler, who intends to take this step. Will he have to trek, long distant, before he gets home. Or wager his wins again, till it exhausts, or go home with enough funds to take a ride. Those are three different occurrences attached to such a prediction. The player needs to show he's ready to face the obstacles. When the last cash wins money, what will it bring to the gambler? More stress or rest? Gamblers are troubled with lots of factors, making it difficult for a gambler to stay steadily aware of what could happen with him and his funds.
A gambler can lose their lasts cash but if he can accept the results he gets in gambling, he will not have too worry about his lasts cash. He will considers that is the lasts shot before he quit gambling and will not think much about that. If many gamblers can do that and don't thinks about the outcomes, they will not have to feel too sad because they already knows the risks. Besides that, it's just a gambling which have two options, win or lose and he will place his lasts money. But if he can wins with his last cash, that will be a surprised for him because he can winning before he go home. But a gambler must thinks about how he go to home if his last cash is the lasts money that he have and lose his money. If that is the cases, he must not place a bet because he can't go home without money. But if he go to casino with his friends, he will not have to worry.

It's bad to begin what we can't finish. Such a gambling habit can be dangerous when it registers in the brain of the gambler, he could try it next time. Not doing it is better than taking the risk. The win will be quite small and won't be worth it, since it's the player's last cash. In this context, last cash means transport fare. Hence, the amount is not big enough to fetch the gambler a big win. So, moving away with the fund is more cool than putting ourselves in emotional trouble, when next we try it and don't win. Humans, definitely, will repeat what they've done in the past. This means the gambler will soon develop this feeling that gambling his last cash is fine and acceptable.

He could get addicted to doing this and going all-in immediately. It's the worst form of addiction, going all-in immediately, which means whatever money the gambler takes to the casino will be considered his last cash, as he'd wager it all at once. Not saying, Op will get to this level, but a thousand-mile journey requires only a single step. It's of no importance, joking with our emotions and last cash. Luckily, Op was able to end the gambling session after winning, some gamblers would see it as an added time to gamble. Then lose out both the wins. If the gambler visits the casino with a friend, what would be his/her fate when alone in the casino, and the behavior already controls him relentlessly?
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: March 22, 2024, 08:22:07 PM
Whatever I will be suggesting to your friend for sure he won't listen. He didn't even listened to you when you've explained that he's addicted.

That's how it is going to be with those gamblers that are seriously addicted already. No suggestion will be good to them because what they are listening with is only themselves.

They can't admit that they're heavy gamblers and they're losing a lot and have been doing crazy things just to gamble.

No way, do you expect an addict to quit fronting on his addictive behavior, he'll definitely lie and bottle it up. The healing work is on others to help the addict, as he, indeed needs it. Don't mind his strange action, it looks like he doesn't want to help hands. Neglecting them won't be the right choice, working on ways to help change the addict is better than watching him misbehave. While they listen to themselves alone, sooner they'll want to talk to somebody. Deep down, they'll try to save themselves from the attitude, since they personally got into addiction, their self-consciousness will make them believe it's possible to come out with nobody's help. I think that's the main purpose behind why they avoid helpers.

Due to their psychology being affected, they wouldn't make it out alone. That's why sometimes a gambler will decide to open up and reach out for help. Which remains the best time to help an addict. When he's in need of it because he wants it and is tired of the lifestyle. In your context is fine to give them a space. But, to some extent, it's risky, as their attitude can get worse when left unattended. Staying in touch with the gambler helps revive his brain towards changing. Addiction isn't interesting for anyone, seeing his acquittances talk to him, will make him think of being like his unaddicted friends. Sooner, he'd confide with them and seek for help. When neglected he may not try talking to anyone. Thereby stressing his brain, on saving himself.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: March 22, 2024, 07:55:34 PM
I agree with you, that makes sense too. because every person has a different financial situation, and in my opinion this also depends on the gambler's approach to gambling, because even though their finances are bad, if they have a strong approach to gambling because they are chronically addicted then they will gamble even though They don't have good finances, but if they are seriously addicted then it is very likely that they will force themselves to continue gambling by doing anything that can make money for gambling.

That's true, indeed gambling will only end with two possibilities, namely winning or losing, but in my opinion what will happen more often is that the end of gambling is losing. We have to be aware of that, because it's true what you said is that the possibility cannot be guaranteed in the end, but with gambling the only thing that can be guaranteed is defeat.

Good point, we'll leave aside the rich or poor bit and it's true that it all still depends on how they approach gambling, if it's basically as you say that they have a strong ambition and enthusiasm for gambling along with some addictive mindset then it doesn't matter if they're poor they're still going to treat gambling with an aggressive approach, and the point is rich or poor if you have the wrong approach to gambling then obviously the rich are going to be poor and the poor might sacrifice their lives just for one spin based on luck.

One of the reasons why losses are more common than wins is because casinos apply a larger percentage of losses than wins, and I think it's a natural thing because after all this is a business for casinos which as we often hear that overall wins are actually only for the casino itself in the long run, and gamblers only get occasional wins that come by "chance" and also those that depend on luck, this is the reason why you can lose more if you basically put seriousness because all wins are nothing more than "possibilities".

Both responsible and irresponsible gamblers consist of high and low rollers. No cheap gambler, gamers can't be tagged poor, it's better called low rollers, as we can't determine for sure who's poor, indeed. A rich player can decide to be a low roller and a poor high roller. That is gambling above his income. Hence, the attitudes of these sets of people must differ, gamblers who are irresponsible have the same behavior regardless of their financial status, same as the irresponsible players. We all know what happens when one chooses to be irresponsible in gambling. If he's rich, he could end up poor as you said. Risk in this context means who gambles with a huge amount of money. A poor person can't afford to wager a huge amount, but what makes him a high roller, can be a low rolling for a rich player.

So, the risk for a person who doesn't possess lots of money could be going the extra mile by borrowing, illegal businesses, to raise money for gambling. However, trying to match this context of reason can be difficult in terms of behavior and type of gambler. Looking at the perspective of a rich player who chasing losses, is he actually in need of the money or addicted to the behavior? He's rich and may not be seriously on the lookout for more, to the extent of chasing losses. He could wager a huge amount and wait for another time to gamble. Unless he wants to go broke, then chasing losses while wagering huge amounts will take him there. Gambling is a risk for everyone, and the amount we wager doesn't define whether we are rich or poor in real life.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 22, 2024, 07:10:47 PM
The fun is widely written on the player's face, for everyone to see. When you look at a player you'd know if he's happy for losing money or not. Hence, what matters is the amount of money he lost and the strategy he's utilizing in the game. However, it always feels like losing in gambling is wrong, but it's wrong, losing is a part of the game, and should make gambling fun. If we never wagered money while gambling, no player will be sad for losing. A player who knows his game plays happily till his session's duration is exhausted. Note this, his duration, not his funds. Gambling shouldn't end our funds, instead, we should end the game when we choose. That's the importance of running a strategic test and understanding what works or not for us. So how we feel after losing money is a choice. When I do lose money, anger hunts me, but I decide whether to accept it or not.

The outcome can't be changed by our feelings, no need to stay sad. Whatever a player thinks his happiness matters. I'm happy that fun gamblers are doing a great job in circulating the message of perceiving gambling as a fun game. No need to neglect the truth and follow the other message that says we can earn money via gambling. I think a player wins both emotionally and financially when he's gambling for fun. It's not about the money, but the feelings. Money must be spent, forgotten, and gotten again, but our emotions can hurt us forever. Thereby causing harm to our thoughts and gambling habits. If a gambler wagers a smaller amount of money, he'd feel fine losing the money, as it's not big enough to change his mood. In a nutshell, fun gamblers don't play out of greed, instead, they tend to enjoy the game and learn other skills it provides to their brain.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 22, 2024, 06:49:19 PM
The fact that sports betting isn't purely luck is a major draw.  Analysing team form, player statistics, and home advantage, allows for informed decisions.  Imagine a chess player meticulously evaluating the board before making a move.

However, even the most thorough analysis can't eliminate the element of surprise.  Upsets happen. Injuries occur.  Unexpected red cards can turn the tide of a game.  These are the elements of chance that keep sports, and by extension, sports betting, exciting but unpredictable.

Sports betting offers a unique way to engage with the games you love.  By combining your passion for sports with strategic analysis, you can increase your chances of winning.  But remember, even the most informed predictions can be upended by the beautiful chaos of sport.
Because of the analytical and statistical nature of such teams' performance, most likely the win or loss ratio will be adjusted by handicaps to make betting fairer and more unpredictable, despite careful analysis, the handicap factor sometimes causes us to lose very narrowly and win very little, casinos always reverse the advantage of analysis. I also like sports betting but that only belongs to the world's major events and seasons, within the framework of clubs, very few bets when the surprise is too little and the odds change too much

Sports have multiple betting techniques, a gambler can decide to stake on corner kicks or substitutions, which increases their opportunities of winning. Although gambling has to be specific, the gambler needs to specify which team does substitution first or not. But it looks easier to win on this decision. The varieties for staking money are much on sports games compared to slot or casino types of gambling. Where the gambling only depends on the house's choices and how they programmed their machine. However, gamblers who play strictly sports, have their ways of losing like the slot players. Sometimes it looks like the casino controls sports, as well. Matches can be strange, in the UEFA EURO game yesterday between Georgia and Luxembourg, a goal scored by Luxembourg was canceled after they equalized the game.

Such things demoralized viewers, though I didn't stake on any team, but it shows how cruel football matches can be on gamblers. After feeling happy for a moment, the goal will be disallowed. The slot doesn't work this way, once you win it's counted and never getting removed. It guarantees that joy is here to stay. Not some games that are decided by officials, in some manners that look strange. A gambler needs to be sure he lost or won in a game. Having doubts in him and blaming officials for being biased doesn't give the gambler the complete fun he deserves. Casino games are between the player and the house, he, the player, only requires self-control to scare through with lesser troubles.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: March 22, 2024, 06:21:05 PM
So I brought this topic to let us know that in gambling, if you just play it as though you don't take it seriously whether you win or lose then you might surprisingly win an amount that will amaze you one day ...
This has a lot to do with psychology, as if we don't need to win in some matches and if we lose it's not a problem, but what comes is not defeat, but instead an unexpected victory. We are ready to lose, but instead we win, and this has happened to me myself...

Luck does not come according to what we expect, but winning in gambling with this kind of psychological method cannot be repeated. Its presence is truly coincidental and cannot be easily predicted. I consider this just a coincidence that is difficult for anyone to repeat.

Gambling works this way, and it's a nice feeling to win when we least expect it. That's the aim of most gamblers to earn money while having fun. It's the definition of fun gambling. While betting on games the right thought is to accept whatever outcome that shows up from the game. No player is meant to think he'd win, definitely. Hence, gamblers must choose this kind of gambling habit, thereby reducing their anger when they lose. What actually affects the facial reaction of gamblers is the massive losses. In a casino, you'd see gamblers leaving the house very angry. It's a sign of gamblers who thought they'd win but later got a loss in return.

Such feelings or outcomes as you said "Bayu" can't be repeated, yes, but, given time, if a gambler continually stays responsible and enjoys his games, he'd, one day, win again, like previously. The only difference is that he won't win again immediately. The mistake of new gamblers, after winning, is that they want to win again, instantly. It's wrong and creates in them the urge to chase losses. The moment they lose they try again, till nothing is left in their bankroll. The best joy in gambling is winning out of luck, not playing aggressively to retrieve our lost money. It doesn't make a player feel happy, even when he wins using this process. Because he's lost enough trying to win, then the current win won't amount to a better profit, as he's lots plenty while chasing a loss.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 22, 2024, 02:57:06 PM
Gambling often becomes a habit because people can experience adrenaline and excitement from gambling. This can lead them to gamble more and more without controlling their spending and time. The way to combat this is by first recognizing the problem and admitting that you have a problem.
It is also important to seek help from specialists who can help develop control strategies and teach them how to manage their desires. Remember that gambling can negatively affect your life and relationships with loved ones, so it is important to combat this addiction.
Does one need professional help right in the beginning when they want to heal their addiction and get out of it? I don't think so. Once a gambler acknowledges the fact that they are in a problem and they want to get out of it, people who are close to them and are always with them should try and help them with that because sometimes the assistance of the close ones can solve the issue, but if they see that it is not working, that's when they should look for an expert to handle the case.

Generally, a gambling addict can get away from their addiction if they have someone with them all the time who keeps them away from gambling and keeps them busy with other activities and engagements, this is why it is important for one to first try and get rid of it without professional support.

Sometimes when gamblers realize they're addicted, concealing the habit from close ones will creep into their mind. But it's common amongst players, at the early stages of addiction, they'll never accept help from anybody. The task is on the people around him to closely observe the player and find out if he's addicted, already. Because these addicts are skillful at hiding the problem, little changes added to their behavior should be honestly questioned. If he recently started to stay indoors more than usual, he may have been locked in his thoughts of gambling. Talking to him about his recent change of attitude can get him talking. No need to go straight to the point, this must be cunningly done.

Maybe after a long-lasting conversation, which he enjoys. Then hit him with the question, of why he's been acting strangely, and let him know the importance of communicating with people around him. And why he shouldn't isolate himself, the disadvantages of isolation can increase his problems, if he has any, that sharing with others can help save him from the fight. These few effective added conversation questions will easily get him thinking and may involuntarily say things that can be traced down to addiction being his internal pains. However, the whole process must be planned to near perfection. As it's a brain or emotional strategy of investigating if a gambler close to us is now addicted.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: March 22, 2024, 02:19:27 PM
The necessity or compulsion that will prevent us from experiencing the effects of risk in gambling is to limit money when gambling, as you said, this is clearly true but will only be done by a small percentage of all gamblers. Because the temptation of casinos is so great, sometimes when we are careless we are easily influenced to bet there.
Yes, if we don't want to experience significant losses, we must try this step as best as possible because we will definitely experience the results with great happiness.
Limiting the money to playing gambling is one rule among many other rules that we must have when playing gambling. We must stick to the rules if we don't wants to gets trouble in gambling. Many people already breaks their own rules and can't survive in gambling and becomes addicted to gambling. The temptation of casinos will always be there but if we can stick to our rules, we will not tempted and will enjoy gambling as an entertainment. We can treat gambling as a fun activity and will not used much money because we don't wants to gets trouble. When we losses, we will not try to recover the losses because we knows that can makes us lose more money because that can related to the emotional that can increases.

Limitations are a nice idea for gamblers and will help anyone to excel in gambling. The problem revolves around self-control and discipline. Gamblers, find it hard to realize why they can't stick to the limitations they made available for their good and financial stability. However, they forget it's an actively steady action that shouldn't be neglected. Lossing can help a gambler erase his limitations from his thoughts. The urge to continue gambling consistently occurs in the gambler's mind. Hence, he may not get hold of himself anymore, as he needs to get back his funds. Addiction sets in the moment a gambler is no longer in control of his behavior. The addiction level increases gradually, and the player forgets every single financial target he has to practice.

I prefer that naive gamblers get a coach who'll guide them on what to do or not. Gambling urge remains what it is, players need to focus on becoming responsible at all costs. Imagine the pain addiction puts on an entire family or society. It's something we have to be careful about. Playing on our own self-promises can be dangerous, many players have tried this and failed. Read lots of gambling books as a gambler and realized how hard it is to gamble alone, with no mistakes that could lead to addiction. Having a gambling buddy can help us cross-check our behaviors in the form of examining the fresh habits of one another.

Gambling addiction is chronic, and its healing process consumes time. Nobody undergoes this process with no long-lasting trauma. Unless the bond between the addict and his friend isn't strong, they can forgo the painful thoughts of the healing process. Therapists due to work and one rule that states, "remember you are not the cause of the player's trouble" don't stress themselves thinking about the pains of the addict, added to it, the therapists don't spend lots of time with the addict. Unlike a loved one who worries over the wellbeing of a friend, and may spend nights and days with him, he'd undergo lots of depression during the period. For the rule stated above, it's not right that a friend suffers pain or gets affected by a gambler's addiction. The healer is free and wasn't the cause of the trouble. Although we are humans, and lots of our thoughts are reflexive, we'll find ourselves getting worried over it.

That's why referring him to a therapist is a superb idea. Because the pains don't register in the therapist's brain, he's the right candidate for handling the healing process. However, not everyone is capable of paying for a session, an alternative method plays a vital role. This is the idea you wrote above, letting him remember that he's loved. Telling him he's wrong may not work, hence trying to teach him his game is not effective. Concealing our intentions works best, working alongside him to guide him will build an interpersonal relationship between the gambler and his friend, to a point where the addict, depends on his friend for advice and gambling techniques. The goal is to let the addict lead the process, then hijack his thoughts or strategies and replace them with ours, as a friend.

when addiction has occurred then big losses cannot be avoided, and perhaps it is true that what you said is that in order to recover you need help from other people, however I think that if the main perpetrator does not have his own awareness then it will be just as difficult, so if you really want to recover from addiction then The main actor must have his own awareness first and then others. because there are people who are addicted to gambling who get suggestions and advice from other people but they can't accept it because they feel that they are addicted to it and they feel right about what they are doing even though it is detrimental to themselves.

If the conversations don't align with that of the gambler, then it'll be hard for the gambler to comply with his therapist. That's why it's crucial to reason alongside the gambler. Whatever his strategy is, he should be left alone and watched. Then, along the line, he can gradually be taken out of such thoughts and changed entirely. The mistake with such people, addicts, is that they get affected by the statements of people around them not aligning with his reasoning. They'll only be your friend if you think and claim to act like them. And the goal is to achieve a good relationship with the gambler. This happens with everybody, we only love those who think like we do, and then they can influence us easily.

Arguments don't help good relationships, compared to effective conversation. Hence, the person who is working on helping the gambler needs to be careful not to get carried away by the lifestyle of the addict. As it's a long-term healing process. We all need to figure out ways of dealing with psychotherapy, it'll go a long way to save addicts. I had a conversation with a friend who is related to a drug addict, she said they end up disagreeing with one another because she tries to caution the addict. I told her, the point is to have a good conversation with him, because the victim, also, thinks he's right. Building a relationship that'll make him want to be around us is very crucial. At least, someday we can chime in our thoughts slightly until he starts to think responsibly. These problems are not easily solved by the victim, it's not simple on their end. So, we must not rush them, that's why Psychologists tagged it as a long-term healing process.

Gambling addiction is easy to harness if a player isn't capable of controlling his actions. Responsibility includes being able to accept the losses as we do the wins. When a player loses money and insists on winning back the exact money, he'll easily get addicted. Hence, financial status or working class could be tagged as a contributor, but that's not to be generalized. Gamblers with a good source of income, still fall prey to problem gambling, due to their inability to control themselves towards chasing losses. When a gambler is not concerned about making money he'd have a better gambling experience. Winning money helps in bringing us back to the casino, but not all. These days players have learnt their lesson and chosen to gamble for fun purposes. It feels better than ending up sad after losing out in the name of chasing money via gambling.

As you said, Su-asa, it's a big fat lie to make enough profit in gambling. The disagreement comes into play in line with jackpots. But delving deeper into the concept of a casino's jackpot will take up lots of time to explain. Marketing is one aspect of the jackpot idea. Yes, it looks like the winner has been made financially, but it's not completely favorable on the gambler's side. The casino gains bigger profits due to this, because gamblers who disagree that gambling doesn't guarantee financial freedom, will jump on the jackpot cruise and gamble away all their funds, hoping for the day they'll win it. When someone else wins it, the desire increases, thereby fetching more funds to the casino. Remember the winner doesn't get satisfied, he'd go back looking to win another jackpot. It's quite deep and shouldn't be stressed. What matters is staying responsible.
If you are really just that responsible then i dont see any problems that would really be created on a certain individual when it comes to possible addiction because things do really get messy on the time that you would really be that irresponsible with your actions because things can really be control if you wanted to but sometimes due into those unrealistic approach and wishes that you do have in mind on which it would really be causing up that kind of impression and approach on which it would really be leading into more engagement which would really be neglecting about those risks that you've been wary earlier.

Came from recovery from gambling addiction might sound simple but this is a fight that not something that you could really be able to pull that easily. Self acceptance and self discipline
would really be the key but of course not all people would really be that be able to do so.

The two elements self-acceptance and discipline are crucial in the healing process of an addict. Fighting addiction is so hard that it requires extra humans and effort to help the addict. An addict's feelings can be contrary to that of his acquittances and helpers. Thereby, building up the toughness of the fight, then take up years for the battle to be over. However, nobody is brilliant enough to know the fastest method of healing an addict. But, with a collaborative effort everyone wins. Society gets to receive funds from the addict, instead of losing it to the casino alone. When an addict stays around us, it affects everyone. We must endeavor to change them, so it won't escalate to other citizens of that locality.

When people around gamblers are against problem gambling, lots of responsible gamblers will be birthed. Lack of limitations and external help puts many into addiction. No teacher to enlighten the naive players on the risks of gambling recklessly. However, the gambling community is working hard online to level up the understanding of the problem and responsible gambling. A lot of people need to know this because many are following the addiction route every day. Hence increases the addiction rate each moment. Gambling proves that we reap whatever we sow, if a player plays recklessly, he'd continue doing the same thing for a long period, and then face lots of troubles. The same applies to playing responsibly.

Underaged gamblers would be their biggest buyers, and that's risky. The casinos can't trace this or figure out if an account has changed hands or not. However, selling a casino account is wrong, but the account business has been on the rise since the emergence of social media lifestyles. Hence, people now have the urge to purchase accounts after getting banned or not eligible to use the platform. Such things can't be stopped. Provided the buyer utilizes the account very well and doesn't break rules he'd be in the casino forever. Moreover, the casino is focused on tracing people who go against their terms of service, than those who purchase accounts. The risk is on the buyer, yes, but in rare cases where the account is flagged for some reason, caused by the original owner. He could lose out on his deposit and balances.

Though it's wrong in all ramifications, underage players wouldn't mind going through this route, to be eligible to enjoy their habit. There are other beneficiaries of this account-buying business, those who sell data, and create accounts in bulk, then the marketers and resellers. Since the market has been established it'll be around for a longer period, regardless of the risk. Buyers and sellers wouldn't stop trading. Addicted gamblers who got banned from using a casino can also utilize this service. I learned that the casino that banned him works as hard as possible to see that he doesn't gamble elsewhere, because of his addiction. Hence, he's not eligible to run KYC using his date anymore. Online casinos are getting broader each day, and gamblers are eager to achieve their goal, the jackpot.

Reason why some people is addicted in gambling is because there are not financial buoyant and they feel like it is only gambling that they will make money so that is why many people who is addicted in gambling always gamble so that they can be able to earn a living through it why the more their gambling the more they are losing and the more they are spending their money so it is good for me to calculate the total amount of money we will spend in gambling weekly or monthly so that we will not experience much logs in gambling, day today people who does not have a work take gambling as occupation and the source of revenue that is why they addicted gambling member Desire than people who is not addicted in gambling
actually it's true. And also it's easy to become addicted to gamble mostly when you don't have a side hustle that will be taking much of your time, for a jobless person that thinks gamble can make him/her become rich it's fat lie. Gamble is not a means of making quick money, incase a gambler is doing it he will likely get addicted at the end.

Maybe that's the case for people that are lead by their emotions, I think that rather than training to be emotionless, why not embrace those emotions and at the same time and not be a slave to them, you're probably better off that way since that shows class rather than being an edgy teenager trying to bottle it up. That's a really low end if you ask me and it shouldn't be that way, maybe make it 10% if you're not earning 6 digits a month so you can make the most out of your gambling habit, 1% will only matter when the number is in the millions up to billions of income so don't do that to yourself, be generous when it comes to your habit at the least, if you're in control of that anyway, you won't go overboard so gamble away. If you're consistently gambling at 1-5%, it's still probably and addiction although an unsatisfying one especially if you don't make a lot of money.

Getting emotionless isn't the goal, controlling, at least, how it affects our thoughts is the point. We can't go, all, emotionless. It'll affect the brain of the person. Concealing our pains, won't heal the injury. It puts a thorn in the flesh of the player or gambler. Where he may not figure out ways to treat his pains. Dealing with it is better than claiming it never happened or existed. Trying to know ways to handle the emotional problem helps the player to get over it and adapt to the right healing method. However, gamblers must be emotionally intelligent to embrace their emotions. Not everyone is trained to think like you did, on your write-up. Growth is a big factor in behavioral change. They may have been trained to bottle up their emotional problems.

Changing such an adult may not be simple. However, it's helpful you stated this, for players to understand their emotions. A player who neglects his emotions may feel he'd never achieve his goals in gambling and another life target. Consistent emotional tensions can lead to depression. Lossing all the time feels painful and erupts the thoughts of rejection on a gambler. Thereby enlisting the periods of losses on his brain, whenever he's alone, and helpless. In a nutshell, the lost money should be moderated, and the limits shouldn't get bypassed. Thereby, enabling a minimized painful thought on the gambler, he may not have to bother with his lost money anymore. As it's not enormous to get him worried, emotionally.

I recommend your friend t seek professional help. You can also encourage him to seek therapy or counseling and join support groups. He is stuck on the cycle of trying to recover his losses by betting even more. He should set limits and find healthier ways to cope with stress. Recovering from gambling addiction requires commitment and perseverance, so important to let him know that he is not alone, that there are people who care for him and want to see him recover and overcome his addiction.

It is such a shame that most gamblers get the wrong perspective of gambling and this propels them to mistake gambling to be a form of investment that you can use to multiply your fortune and this makes them to take risks that they wouldn't ordinarily take on a normal day. It's important for people to be fully educated on the risks involved in gambling before they even start gambling, perhaps this would help them make better financial choices when it comes to their gambling life.
Yes that is what I want to said. Most of the time most of the gambler choice the wrong path of gambling they fall into trap of greediness and that's why this choose gambling as there income source and as a result there life in a risk because that time they stake their fund even then they face loss or cross their afford to lose. And we see most of the gambler who have habhit like this those all are in a bad condition in the life they never get the healthy life.

First off, they'll find themselves in problem gambling. They'll face too many struggles while on their gambling journey. Disappointments, depression, self-doubt, and emotional tension revolve around the player's thoughts. A gambler who gives in to the fact he'd be rich via gambling, figure out later how bad his life has become. Many get reminded by friends that their lives are getting worse daily. The gambler may never notice this in his entire days of gambling. He focuses on generating money for gambling. Neglects other important aspects of his life. His troubles get beyond his understanding at the moment, he can't provide funds for gambling. His productivity may have dropped drastically, wherever he works.

It's disappointing, yes, but the fault goes to ignorance. They were introduced to gambling in the wrong way. Imagine a gambler who joined the niche, because he loves Bruno Mars and tries to do whatever he does, including wearing similar tattoos. He'd go into debt. The reason or enforcer is crucial. Most players who got into gambling problems had the wrong orientation on gambling. That's why they act the way we see them behave. The attitude is not out of their control. Hence, a third party or friend has the responsibility to drive them away from the habit. They need someone else in the driver's seat of their life.
