423  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: November 02, 2014, 02:21:26 AM
Everyone seems to be missing something.

Say they are very charming and managed to get free mining hardware, free cooling, free rent and a free giant 10mw data center. That's great, well done PB! It's still impossible to run 1 Gh/s for 5 years for less than a dollar in electricity alone in the cheapest country in the world.

This simple fact should end any discussion as to whether they're mining or not.
there's no way they do real mining with hardware Cheesy
the calculation didn't meet, they won't make profit if do real mining
424  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: October 16, 2014, 02:28:25 PM
And what about Cryptsy?

I can't find deposit and withdraw methods for USD on Cryptsy... Can somebody post the link to read about?
hmm, maybe you should check it again on your account
there's a trading pair fot BTC/USD there
https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/BTC_USD
so we could deposit / withdraw using USD

431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: September 16, 2014, 03:18:34 AM
I really think they are legit cause I always get timely payments from them. I haven't come across an event of them being fraudelent in any sort of payment.
it's better if you read this comment.
constant paying not mean they are legit
VV
V
I have been using pb minng for about 4 months never missed a payment but at any time this could turn out to be a scam.
yeah that's why some user sell their account to prevent this
idk is pbmining allow this selling process now or not
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SignatureCoin (SIGN) | ANONYMOUS | X11 | Free Signature Distributions! on: September 12, 2014, 04:08:28 PM

433  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 12, 2014, 04:05:35 PM
slow but sure, many new signature campaigns require sr.member level to participate
is it because too many new member & full member already?
An anti-Gaw Miners campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=780100.msg8792162#msg8792162

Not sure how serious they are. Wonder if they'll escrow?  Cheesy.
lol, is this allowed to make campaign like that?
sadly their rate is so low Sad
i'm curious see what happen next Cheesy
434  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: September 12, 2014, 03:56:25 PM
It will be legit when they show their 2+ PHS farm, period!

Hope some cloud service shows up soon that presents everything to public with decent prices. It will be fun to watch pbmining going to dust.
yeah, but they won't show it to us
because they don't have it Cheesy
they can have hundred reason to avoid this question, but they won't be legit before they prove it to us all
435  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Most Reputed and Trusted Exchange? on: September 12, 2014, 03:47:43 PM
I think all these suggestions are the sites which deal in buying and selling bitcoins in usd, I was asking about the ones which deal in btc-altcoins and vice versa.
upss i thought that Cheesy
for alt/BTC, i suggest you to use bittrex and cryptsy
i traded there for some time and everything went smoothly
poloniex is another nice exchange too

We usually think the most famous is the most trusted, but if an incident happened that often in there.

We should
Never keep a significant amount of coins on any exchange. They are infamous for disappearing overnight.
yeah we usually think like that
biggest exchange = trusted exchange
but everything changed since gox case

agree, exchanger just for trade, not for store bitcoin (and another valuable coins) there
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN:BCT COIN, SHA3-KECCAK-BITCOINTALK COIN [BCT]-POW Listed on Mintpal on: September 12, 2014, 07:51:46 AM

437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Random address sent me 1 satoshi on: September 11, 2014, 01:31:25 PM
Hate dust, sometimes you pay even more fee just to send them..
yeah right, sometimes fee for bitcoin network is more higher than that dust Cheesy
but i think 1 satoshi dust won't confirmed by network
they will vanish after period of time Smiley
438  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Most Reputed and Trusted Exchange? on: September 11, 2014, 01:29:33 PM
imo, for now is bitstamp. many people trade bitcoin there
you can check their daily volume here : http://markets.blockchain.info/

but don't store your valuable coin there for period of time
nobody know what will happen in the future, like recent mt.gox case
439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy bitcoins in Europe? on: September 11, 2014, 01:26:07 PM
