im offering a 50000 grs bounty for a merged mining implementation where diamond(with groestl algo) and groestlcoin can be mined simultanous including support implrment the merged mining code into diamond and adaption of dmdpool towards merged mining
Hi Cryptonit! NOMP pool software supports coins switching right out of the box (see my NOMP post on previous page). You just need to provide a script to detect which coin is more profitable and figure out what to do with login address. I was planning to implement this feature on my cryptohunger pool after you launch. Thanks srcxxx

I'm currently testing a new GRS pool using NOMP ( https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal). The pool doesn't require registration, just point your miners to stratum+tcp://cryptohunger.com:3000 and specify your GRS wallet as user name, password is ignored. 1.8% prop, payouts every minute, minimum payout 10 GRS. Note: fee is rather high, because NOMP pays for orhpaned blocks and there is no extra auto/manual transaction fee. UI frontend here (not much info currently, you can't even see your personal hashrate) Currently in BETA status, use at your own risk. I'm running it overnight with my rigs and will let you know tomorrow if it is safe to use. If you feel adventurous - join me. And if you find problems - let me know and switch to other pool (like the currently running grs.cryptohunger.com). As per NOMP documentation, everything should work right out of the box, but you never know. PS: I'm planning to use this pool setup for future Android/Web mining endeavours, as it doesn't require any registration. So you'd be able to mine straight out of your wallet.

Yes! I downloaded the new version, and I'm hashing now. The accept are coming through too. Thank you!
Good. Did you have to use the --difficulty-multiplier flag?

Thoughts? I like it, I think the lower case g and the '2' are a nice design touch. Yeah. Thanks. Also, this logo is "iOS 7 compliant" :-)

I have tried three different pools, changing the default settings to the pools specified settings (--groestlcoin instead of -k) I've gone through .bats trying to find out if I could change anything out, and get it to work that way. The --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 say unrecognized option.I've tried your pool, and still no luck. I'm really not sure about the "groestl kernel" I have a kernel folder in sph-sgminer-groestlcoin folder if that makes any difference at all.
It's simple. If your sgminer says unrecognized option, the it is not the latest version. You can get compiled versions from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0It has some command lines too

Что это означает :-) ?

Here is my screenshot. I still have nothing for shares, nor hash on either site. sgminer.exe -k groestlcoin -o stratum+tcp://mine1.coinmine.pl:3000 -u x.x -p x -I 20 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1600 --lookup-gap 0 --gpu-fan 55-75 pause
Try adding this parameter to your command line: --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 If the problem still persists - please switch to my pool (grs.cryptohunger.com) and I'll try to see if I can help by looking at my logs.

I have been connected to "Pool 0", but I have never seen my hash rate show up on either site I use. Is this normal for the coin, or am I not set up correctly yet?
I have the correct hashrate I should have, and am seeing new blocks, though I am not sure if this is a solo mine or what.
Hi! Please provide a screenshot. Also, to all people using ccMiner... If ccMiner shows you huge hashrate, it probably means that shader did not compile and you are not mining anything. Thanks srcxxx

LG p880
i get following results.
GroestlHashTBL : 10,7115 kh/s ( 10240 hashes in 0.93 sec) GroestlHashBSL : 3.6007 kh/s ( 10240 hashes in 2.7 sec) Neon Version : groestlhashneon 35.79 kh/s (10240 hashes in 0.27 sec)
Thank you for this. I inserted your results into the spreadsheet. Your device is quad core, so in theory you could be getting about 140KHs (that't about 10 GRS per day). There is also the possibility of doing hashing in RenderScript, which will involve GPU on the device. Your GPU is 12-core, so should be a nice speed boost. I might look into RenderScript later.

That's exactly the ccminer I am using. Same settings. Only 7.2MH/s What about overclock? My Radeons run at 1200Mhz core on Groestl and only 1066 on Scrypt.

Added GTX 780, latest ccminer 0.50 x64
CPU not possible, yamminer doesn't work
Thank you for this! yamminer does work, but looks like you need to try all builds to find the one that works best. There are like 8 builds of it. Also, on older PCs the original CPU minerd works faster.

OK, now NEON should work. Please try this. On emulator I'm getting this: !!!Note: this is NOT a miner!!! It's just a speed test. Also, it is single-threaded.

Thank you for your tests. Looks like we need NEON optimizations to get a good hashrate. Also I'm not sure if I compiled Release or Debug. I think I added NEON, but now it just crashes emulator. I'll continue research. If you can help, the code is still in https://github.com/srcxxx/grhashAndroid (for those devs, who want to contribute) Thanks!

Can somebody try this APK on their fast Android devices and let me know the speed and device name? Note: if you don't know what an .APK is, don't try it. This is ARM compile of SPH library performing GroestlCoin hashing. I'm also working on NEON (ARVv7E) version, but getting weird GCC errors, I'll keep you posted. The source code is here: https://github.com/srcxxx/grhashAndroid!!!Note: this is NOT a miner!!! It's just a speed test. PS: This is what I'm getting in ARM emulator :-)
