421  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: January 14, 2023, 06:09:46 AM
I do not know, in China I do not think nowadays that is common to use cash, they actually perform electronic payments generally
Not only China, many developed countries have also restricted the use of paper money and switched to digital or card payment methods. But the complete elimination of paper money is unlikely to happen in the next decade because in many places it can be said that the internet is limited, and smartphones are not yet widely used, so getting rid of paper money is very difficult.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your wishes for BTC in coming years? on: January 13, 2023, 11:41:16 AM
I don't have much desire for the coming years, I just want to be healthier and be able to take care of myself and my thoughts about bitcoin. This wish is realistic for me as I am not used to having high expectations of things, but whatever it is, I always wish I could earn more bitcoins regardless of whether I buy them or accumulation them with my signature income.

I just believe bitcoin is the best investment I've ever known, so even more I believe bitcoin will be more profitable than gold in the next 5 years. These are my motivations about bitcoin, but I just need to be more realistic about my financial situation.

Bitcoin is not the best investment, but it is the most profitable one, and I think it has now surpassed gold in terms of return, but in terms of risk, it is still the riskiest investment today. The higher the risk, the higher the return, that's why I don't call it the best investment, the best means it needs to be both profitable and safe.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 13, 2023, 11:37:36 AM
The government can only prohibit the exchange of bitcoins from various countries, and there is no other way. When Bitcoin was low-key before, the government thought it had no threat and did not take any measures. Now Bitcoin is so powerful that the government has no influence on it. They can only try to stop Bitcoin by adding one pointless law after another. On the one hand, the government is resisting Bitcoin, and on the other hand, it is frantically learning blockchain knowledge. "They" are as contradictory as ever.

That is not true, they still have an influence on bitcoin, they won't be able to ban bitcoin outright but to restrict it shouldn't be difficult for them. But banning bitcoin today is not in their favor, so instead, they will find a way to impose regulation on it, once there is regulation, bitcoin will be heavily restricted, and no one but us will be disadvantaged.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 13, 2023, 11:33:14 AM
Neither have I sold any of my bitcoins in 2022 nor do I have any reason to sell them in 2023 either. I believe 2023 is still a bearish year, I will try to accumulate more and only sell bitcoin when bitcoin makes a new ATH or surpasses the old ATH of 2021. Bitcoin is recovering but I am pretty confident that this will be a small rally and it will fall again soon.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 12, 2023, 06:46:30 PM
~
Ireland lost all wickets with just 4 balls to spare while Zimbabwe crossed their target with 12 balls to spare. So if Ireland could somehow score another 20 runs then Zimbabwe would have been under a lot of pressure.  M.Adair got out for just 2 runs so they fell behind a lot in this respect.  And on the other hand 2 more players got out for just 5 runs.  So they failed to score more runs.  On the other hand, Zimbabwe won very easily
Ross Adair and Stephen Doheny made their debut for Ireland and majority of their old players are retired i believe while Gary Ballance made his debut for Zimbabwe so it was an easy bet even the match started that Zimbabwe would win the match as they have their experienced squad with a couple of exceptions but the odds were not that great either.
A low scoring match but still Ireland was able to pick wickets and troubled Zimbabwe and 10 to 15 more runs they would have really struggled to cross the line.

I think if Ireland could somehow reach the 130/135 mark, I think they could have had a really good chance of winning the match. But obviously, that did not happen and it is also true that interns of the quality of the squad of both teams Zimbabwe were far better compared to Ireland. I hope that Ireland will be able to perform better in the next match. They will have to perform better in the next match and win because otherwise, Zimbabwe is going to be the winner of the series.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 10, 2023, 01:12:27 AM
Atletico Madrid's real opponents in the league are teams like Real Sociedad, Betis and so on in the league from now on. Because they have shown once again that they are no threat to either Barcelona or Real Madrid. The point gap was already very big though but the Barcelona game showed why the gap was that big again.
Simeone had better prepare for resigning from his job otherwise I think the board will decide to sack him at the end of the season. This is such a terrible season for them as they are in no European tournament and even their chance of finishing in top 4 might be in danger.

There is no chance for Atletico Madrid to compete against Barcelona and Real Madrid right now. In my opinion. Right now Atletico Madrid is going to have to think about the third position on the table. Because the first and the second position is not going to be acquired by Atletico Madrid.

And I am not sure that we can just say it is the fault of the manager. Yes, there are some mistakes being made by the manager, but the players that also not playing at their best as well. And both of them have resulted in the downfall of Atletico Madrid.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 10, 2023, 01:05:57 AM
Dortmund are on a losing streak of two games in the league and this has pushed them out of top four as a result.
Their next fixture is against Augsburg home. This is a comfortable game on paper but we will see. There have been some really competitive games between them so far as well. But I think Dortmund will return better after the break. They need to improve this bad form to enter top 4 and consolidate their place. It would be really unexpected for many people if we don't see them in the Champions League next time. It is still early to talk about this maybe but I just don't find them good enough in the league now.
Dortmund will need to focus on the Bundesliga more of course. But while they are doing this they need to be able to concentrate on the other tournaments as well. The Champions League comes first in this list and DFB Pokal is also there. They have five Bundesliga and one DFB Pokal matches before the Champions League restarts. They need to be targeting the maximum points and best results they can in these ones. Of course there are going to be really challenging matches against teams Leverkusen and Freiburg as well. But they will need to be extra careful in those ones.
Leaving all of these matches with decent results would be big morale for them before their Chelsea matchup. They will need motivation a lot there because Chelsea are already favoured by bookmakers.

Dortmund is not going to be able to perform well this season. They have not shown any improvement to speak of as well. I do not think I will be able to show any improvement this season. The team is not balanced. The chemistry between players is almost non-existent. And they are also not able to bring in good results. This season is going to be a disaster for Dortmund. And I think it all started because of them selling Erling Haaland.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 09, 2023, 08:42:05 PM
It is rumored that Erik ten Hag wants Wout Weghorst. He didn't have a good season at Burnley. He does not have a successful Premier League adventure. But since Erik Teen Hag made very accurate transfers, it is said that the managers of Manchester United trust him and they can sign the player he wants. I think they will solve the center forward problem with Wout Weghorst. Especially when the game is jammed, he can enter the game later and turn many matches thanks to his dominance in head shots. Erik ten Hag sees and trusts Wout Weghorst as an effective weapon in my opinion.
Erik ten Hag needs an additional striker to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, Weghorst was brought in on loan to navigate the 2022/2023 season. Weghorst was deemed unsuitable for Manchester United because he was unable to compete in Burnley main squad. The club's spending budget is so thin that Ten Hag has to find a solution in attack, Manchester United is in the process of changing ownership of the club which makes Ten Hag movements very limited in choosing the players he wants to bring in.
Previously Ten Hag had said he only wanted to bring good players to Old Trafford to strengthen the Manchester United squad. The agreement that occurred with Burnley for Weghorst transfer was not very effective, Weghorst was not a top player, especially since he would occupy the position left by Ronaldo. I think it will be a frantic transfer for Manchester United after several names failed to land.

The current situation at Ten Hag is that the team needs a lethal striker. As far as I can tell, he is targeting strikers like Joao Felix and Weghorst, who aren't clinical and lethal strikers, who are as far as I am concerned are not capable of providing an adequate service. In the long run, this might prove to be detrimental to them. In my opinion, they should really scout out some good strikers and look into the possibility of signing them.
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin What is the probability of 60 K+ again? on: January 09, 2023, 03:23:43 AM
Personally, I expect 2023 to be better than 2022, but don't expect much. 2022 was the worst, and I expect prices to start to recover with the start of the new year.

I do not expect to see significant price growth until the end of this year, after which we can see important movements for Bitcoin and the market in general.

So the best thing is to invest for the long term and follow the DCA strategy because we may not see these good buying prices again.
Nice to see people like you who are still optimistic on the current year because when I look around almost all of them thinks that 2023 is going to be the same with 2022. Well for me, I am also optimistic about this year. For me every new year is a new beginning and I always expect great things to happen not only limited here in cryptos but also in the real world and to myself.

Given that you are already positive, then why limit yourself? Why not push it more and hope that there will be a major recovery which can then lead to a bull run? DCA is great for long-term investors but not all of us have the patience. It's still possible to profit even if you are only a short-term investor or a trader.

I am not pessimistic, but I still want the market to fall more this year simply because I am a long term investor I want to accumulate more bitcoins before it goes up again Once bitcoin goes up, the accumulation will become difficult, and the profit will be less. So, the expectation that 2023 will be a bearish year is not pessimistic but sometimes they want to invest more while bitcoin is cheap.
430  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best crypto news is here on: January 09, 2023, 03:19:03 AM
There are countless crypto news websites and it is impossible to say which is the best to follow. Cryptocurrency news is endless and I don't think you can follow all of them. Try using social networks like Twitter and Reddit, where you will see the most important news discussed instead of trying to follow the whole news every day.
Blogs and websites are good and reliable sources for receiving news better than social media sites, as anyone on Twitter or Reddit and others can publish any false news, There are many good websites that the OP can check out for the latest cryptocurrency and bitcoin news daily. For me, I prefer the following websites which have exclusive news and simple and easy interface for readers :

1- https://cryptonews.com/
2- https://www.coindesk.com/
3- https://www.cnbc.com/cryptoworld/
4- https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news

@OP After looking at these sites that I mentioned to you, you can put them in the Bookmarks of your browser so that it is easier for you to open them from time to time.

Social networks have a lot of aggregated information and can post false information, but like forums, we have discussions and objections, so true or false news will always have someone confirm it, from which there will be better view. News sites don't always tell the truth, many traditional news sites still put out misinformation about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they hate them.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 09, 2023, 01:23:54 AM
Today we will watch the match between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
Before this game, there is another game currently been played that I wonder why there is no discussion about it. The game between Rayo and Betis. Three goals have been scored in just the first half and although Rayo got an equalizer after the early goal from Betis and played in the first half looking like the team most likely to be ahead during Halftime, Luiz Henrique scored a beautiful goal to give Betis the lead. With the number of goals scored in the first Half, it is difficult to predict how the second half will go and how many goals the game will most likely end with. Betis will remain winners to me at the end, lets watch.
Betis did not score in the second half of the match and Betis won the match 2-1. There is another important game at the moment and there was no goal in the first 30 minutes : Sevilla vs Getafe. I think Sevilla's squad is of good quality and does not deserve a low ranking. It seems to me that they are planning to win against Getafe and make a significant rise and I hope they succeed in that. Considering their past successes, a very important team is Sevilla in Spain.

Rayo Vallecano 1-2 Real Betis

There was actually no doubt that it was unfortunate, as well as the poor defending from Rayo Vallecano in the first half. In my opinion, if they had been able to defend the way they did in the second half, they would probably have been able to get one point from this match. But the first half of the game was a disaster from their point of view as far as defense is concerned. Real Betis, on the other hand, performed well during the match. It was a well-coordinated attack on their part.

432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 08, 2023, 06:06:03 PM
Manchester City - Chelsea is 3-0 and almost half time. It went very fast there. It just shows how volatile team Chelsea are. Winner of the CL a few years ago. I think the score will go even higher as Chelsea now has to take built-in risks. Or maybe accept this defeat and make sure no players get injured in the 2nd half. Even if Chelsea were to change course, it would still be a hopeless mission at Manchester City. There is a basic place for Ziyech. Both teams seem to play in the strongest formation in this match.

Manchester City vs Chelsea is going on right now, and Manchester City is absolutely dominating this match.69 minutes have been played in this match.

I do not think that there is any way for Chelsea to make a comeback in this match. They are going to get one or two consolation goals at best, I think this was expected. The way Chelsea has been playing this season, I don’t think anyone expected them to beat Manchester City. Quite surprising to me that Manchester City has not scored in the second half.  Grin
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what price would you sell? on: January 08, 2023, 03:31:04 PM
Like me, I am trying to accumulate bitcoins during this down season, and my plan is to sell them when the bull season comes. For example, the bull season is in 2025, then I will sell them for x2 or x3 profit, and I will keep waiting for the bears to come to accumulate bitcoins again. The market only has 2 up and down cycles, so just do it right, buy when the price drops and sell when the price goes up, we have succeeded. Don't try to think too highly to make things more complicated.

According to a few news pages and articles the wish to get Yann Sommer to Bayern Munich i guess is dover and wont be happen.
Because Gladbachs sporting director said that they dont let him go and have planned with him.
So i guess we will see Sven Ulreich in the future there and that Munich try to get young player .
Source : https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/fc-bayern-transfers-gladbach-stellt-sich-quer-platzt-bayerns-sommer-deal/12781383/34130
I also read in several sports media which reported that, Borrusia Mochengladbach confirmed that they would not let Yann Sommer go to Bayern Munich However, there is one media that reports the opposite.
I will quote a bit from the news, yesterday we got the news that Gladbach will not let Yann Sommer join Bayern Munich this winter. it should be over, but now there's a new twist. according to the very reliable Florian Plettenberg, the goalkeeper himself is working hard to get his transfer completed quickly this season.
IMO, actually Bayern could give Bayern Munich's second goalkeeper Sven Ulreich a chance. Bayern doesn't need to work hard just to find an ideal replacement, after all there are many choices other than Yann Sommers who is still young like the Croatian goalkeeper who performed quite brilliantly at the Qatar world cup yesterday. but I don't understand, what exactly are the criteria as a candidate to replace Neuer.
Source : https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/platform/amp/2023/1/8/23544578/bayern-munich-yann-sommer-gladbach-immediate-transfer-manuel-neuer-champions-league-psg-keeper

I do not think Sommer is the right fit for our team like Bayern Munich. Sommer has aged a lot and I do not think it is the perfect fit for them because we are seeing that Manuel Neuer has not been playing that well after turning 32 or 33. I heard a rumor that Bayern is interested in the Croatian goalkeeper Livakovic, maybe he is the best fit for them.

Looking at the pictures, you must be from Nigeria, the country that just lifted the bitcoin ban introduced in 2020. It's great to see bitcoin becoming more and more popular. Congrats on achieving your dream, and I hope by accepting bitcoin for business, your business will grow and have more customers, especially those paying with bitcoins.

I believe that everyone is aware of the risks of joining these lending platforms, but because they are so greedy, they ignore everything and when they know they have been scammed, blame others. If they are not greedy, no one can scam them, if you believe centralized exchanges are scamming you, then you just need to avoid them.

Not only lending platform but crypto currency exchanges and all centralized platform where we deposit out money (bitcoin), they are greedy indeed.

Although the fall of FTX, Celsius and all these platform is bad for crypto but these have created much awaited awareness that crypto need dex's.
Now people are afraid of centralized platform. Good to know this but this awareness came at a huge price  Sad

You say they are greedy, so are you greedy? If there was an opportunity to take their money, would you pass it up? I'm sure you won't miss the opportunity, so they are just like us. This is a financial market, not a babysitting place, where we wait for them to take care of us and feed us.

We are all very afraid of CEX and always wary of it, but it is a fact that we are still using it and cannot stop it. I bet you also have a binance account and have assets on it.

Bangladesh Premier League 2023 3rd Match has started today. In today's match Khulna Tigers did not score many runs by batting first. They gave a target of 114 runs in 20 overs. Dhaka Dominators bowled well in today's match due to which Khulna Tigers batsmen did not score many runs.  Dhaka Dominators scored 33 runs in 7 overs. So far Dhaka Dominators have not lost any wicket.

This is a low-scoring match in the Bangladesh Premier League going on right now. Khulna Tigers put on a total of 113 in 20 overs. And Dhaka is batting right now. They are actually doing a good enough job chasing this total. Dhaka currently needs 28 runs from 27 balls. That is certainly winnable for Dhaka. Especially because they have seven wickets in hand right now.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your experience with bitcoin in 2022 and your expectations come 2023. on: January 06, 2023, 04:52:25 PM
I have had a little experience since my time onboard the crypto space. At first, it was a loss thing in my early stage then a win-win thing as time went on but the experience was kind of hell as I invested much  in bitcoin then but the drop in price was something else and I do not want anybody to have such experience but I believe this year 2023 would be much better than the last year and I see a gradual market improvement in the  crypto space.

I think everyone should have some experience during this bear season, because only then will they really gain the experiences and lessons that the bull market never taught them. Those who make it through the bear season and continue to chase the market will be the ones who deserve the rewards they deserve.
It would be best if you were more prepared because there is no guarantee that 2023 the market will be better than in 2022.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their cryptocurrency on exchanges? on: January 06, 2023, 04:45:51 PM
You're doing the right thing by buying your hardware wallet and many of the members here got their hardware wallets, either Nano Ledger S or X or Trezor and its variants.
One reason those people store funds on exchanges is about being confident and convenient in keeping them there. That might be the major factor and reason why they're keeping it there for good as they think that exchanges like Binance and other popular ones are untouchable but little did they know, one must learn from FTX.

FTX crash doesn't mean binance will crash too, like coinbase it's been around for 11+ years, and have you seen it crash? While it is not recommended to store large amounts of assets on centralized exchanges, it is impossible to stop using these exchanges. Please assure me that you and OP are not using binance for day trading. If not, please don't badmouth the exchanges.
