361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 04, 2023, 09:07:00 AM
The second major ICC tournament of this year will start by next week. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup will witness the participation from 10 countries, and will be played in South Africa from 10th to 26th February 2023 (the same venue where U-19 Women's world cup was held a few weeks back). India and Australia are the favorites to win the trophy this time, with England and South Africa also in contention. Bangladesh and Ireland have progressed from the qualifier tournament (which saw participation from 8 teams).
Ten teams and same pattern look like we are not going to have any changes in this world cup as well because from these two pools Australia, New Zealand and then England and India will be in last four others will be suffered badly against the quality of these big-4 because no other country is having better domestic set up for the women's cricket just few are now on the way for the better future but it's never been easy and also time-consuming as well.

But I am happy now we have ICC-19 women's event which is surely going to help them for increasing quality and brining better players from early ages as well in group a with New Zealand and South Africa we can expect some fight otherwise things are not good for having any good entertainment.

Honestly, I am not very interested in women's cricket. I am interested in the men's ODI world cup coming up this year. Call me and misogynist, but I do not think women's sports are interesting in general at all. In cricket, we already have a lot of cricket boards that are not very rich. That's why they are not able to produce a good team even though I think they have a lot of talent in the country. And meanwhile, we have women's cricket, which is hardly generating any revenue. Correct me if I am wrong, but I honestly do not think the ICC is getting any revenue from women's cricket. And that is probably a big reason why there is so much pressure being created for the BCCI to hold women's IPL. And that is also probably the reason why BCCI did not want to arrange women's IPL in the first place.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hitting it's target on: February 03, 2023, 09:55:49 AM
That's a great point about bitcoin vs fiat, but I'm curious, your country only accepts cash payment and no other payment options like online banking or e-payment wallet like Payeer, Paypal, or WebMoney...? In my country, for the large amount, we don't use cash, but bank transfer, and there are many options. In this case, if you already have an internet connection, you have more options than bitcoin.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 03, 2023, 09:46:02 AM
We do not yet reach the finish line, so adoption will continue until the moment that everyone has already been using this whether in terms of investment or currency. As we can see, only a few percent that is already using this, but there are still a lot of people we need to encourage. Even 10 years from now we're still far from happening.

However, it was really good to see that crypto gives interest to the community, and therefore, I can say that Bitcoin is not a failed project.

Bitcoin is still in its infancy for quite some time now so just wait for the world to see and witness that bitcoin is getting bigger and they are throwing that useless paper off the face of the earth and out of their pockets yes of course we may need to wait another 10-20 years to be able to witness all people use bitcoin in their transactions but if the halving happens I think people will see bitcoin and add to the adoption of other ordinary people, even if they only see bitcoin as an investment sector but gradually they can use it as currency.

Nowadays, people just know about it and want to learn about it because of its volatility and profitability. Around my area, the demand for bitcoin is growing rapidly, but it is about investment, not for payment or currency. If someone needs to use it as a currency, they will stay with fiat rather than bitcoin because bitcoin is harder to use and store. I have been in the market for a while but have never wanted to use bitcoin for payment, I prefer to invest.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: February 03, 2023, 09:37:46 AM
Suppose I am doing business through an online Facebook page and website and want to accept Bitcoin. But now if I look at cryptocurrencies it comes with high volatility, and I have doubts whether accepting Bitcoin will be profitable for my business.
I really want to know your opinion on this and what are the initial steps I should take if I adopt cryptocurrency for my business? Because I see many people on the forum are taking steps to accept Bitcoin for businesses and that's why these questions araised in my mind.

I think it will only benefit without harm because by adding payment options, your business will attract more customers. If you are afraid of bitcoin volatility, you can add an option with a stable coin, I think people will be willing to spend a more stable coin than bitcoin. Since people are trying to keep their bitcoins instead of spending them, accepting bitcoin payments won't be any more efficient than stablecoins, IMO.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 01, 2023, 10:54:27 AM
Crazy ending to that Lakers game. LeBron got another chance to get a game winner but this time he passed the ball to Anthony Davis who then committed an offensive foul which ended up with the game going to overtime. They still won and LeBron moved a little closer to the record. Westbrook seemed to get a lot of crunch time minutes as well.
That was a lucky break for the Knicks, it's just that their last play was not planned well, I think it should be Brunson who should take the last shot as he is hot in that game, for sure if he missed it, he might get a foul. I don't understand why it was Randle who took the last shot.
Randle, as I observed him, he wanted to be the go-to guy of the team. I also consider that it should be Brunson to take that last
shot as he got a much better percentage, and he's not new in carrying a team.
Remember when Luka was out during the semis against the Sun's this man really help the team to win games and not to allow
Suns to take advantage of them.
But nothing that can be changed now, good to see that Lakers wins might be another controversial missed call.

The Lakers played well as a team. At a point, I actually thought that it might go south for Lakers. But in the end, everything was all right. LeBron James and Anthony Davis played well. Lakers have been through a bad form recently. And it was good to see that Lakers have won this game. They have not been consistent at all. Hopefully, this will be the time when they start being consistent. Five wins in the last 10 are probably not up to the standards that Lakers set for themselves.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 30, 2023, 10:49:31 AM
Milan's main goalkeeper may be out of the squad due to injury. But Milan's overall performance is poor. AC Milan players could not score any goals in the last two matches against Lazio and Inter Milan. Their overall team status is now somewhat unstable. So it should not be thought that Milan's performance is poor only because of the goalkeeper. However, AC Milan have plenty of time before facing Tottenham. If they can solve the mistakes, maybe Milan will be able to fight against Tottenham.
S. Pioli says their team will only focus on the Champions League but how can they focus on the Champions League if their performance is so bad. milan's back line is really in trouble and their core goalkeeper is also injured, facing tottenham later, i doubt milan will win, it looks like they will be overwhelmed against Tottenham.

I don't know how the AC Milan coach wants to focus on the Champions League title. Is he daydreaming? Almost every team in the Champions League is very strong. Each has strong squads. Milan are also dropping points against weaker teams in Serie A. I don't know how they can win against the giants in the Champions League. I'd say they'll lose badly against Tottenham too. The team conceded 5 goals against Sassuolo. How will they resist Kane and Son's attack?
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 30, 2023, 10:42:42 AM
I don't expect Liverpool to finish in the top 6 of the points table. Liverpool's performance is erratic. Another reason is that teams like Brighton and Brentford are performing quite well. And consistently these teams are able to play well. And so even if Liverpool can perform well, it is very difficult for them to get into the 6th of the points table. And less likely. Despite having so many star players, it is difficult to accept Liverpool's performance.
Firmino, Arthur and Diogo Jota will fully comeback on the late February, but before that there are 3 matches Liverpool need to face, it's against Wolves, Everton and Newcastle. I will say Liverpool will have bad result in those 3 matches because they will play without 3 players which I mentioned above, Liverpool can drop to 12-14th position at the worst case. But after then they will start to recover and may likely become top 6 clubs since there are still many match to go.

Some of Liverpool's key players will return from injury and join the team in maybe 3/4 to weeks. But not being with the team for a long time will definitely have an impact. I don't think they will start playing well once they get back into the team. However, even if Liverpool plays consistently well, it will be difficult for them to finish fifth or sixth in the table. Because the performance of teams like Tottenham, Brentford and Brighton is consistent.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 30, 2023, 10:22:29 AM
The reason why Bitcoin is not accepted by the government is first of all because Bitcoin is not under the supervision of the government, the government cannot do things as it pleases, the government cannot ban Bitcoin, and Bitcoin will not be killed.

They can ban bitcoin and restrict us from using it, but they can't completely destroy it because bitcoin is decentralized and popular all over the world. The government doesn't accept bitcoin because they can't control it and they don't get any benefit if they accept it. Bitcoin frees us, and that's what the government hates the most...There are too many reasons for them to reject bitcoin.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question on: January 30, 2023, 10:12:17 AM
You are wrong to give them financial advice because if the price doesn't go up as expected but goes down, they will most likely blame you immediately. But the price of $ 23k is not too bad, so you do not need to worry, this is still a very good price to buy because compared to ATH in 2021, this is a low price.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 30, 2023, 09:59:08 AM
The 29th Match of Bangladesh Premier League started today at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet. Dhaka Dominators vs Rangpur Riders these two teams entered the field to play. Rangpur Riders won the toss and decided to bowl. Dhaka Dominators scored 27 runs in 4 overs.  .But Dhaka Dominators lost two strong wickets. Azmatullah Omarzai of Rangpur Riders is bowling very well. He bowled 2 overs and took 2 wickets with 15 runs.
Dhaka Dominators lost 2 more wickets to lose a total of four wickets.  And the Dhaka team faced a lot of pressure as the 4 batsmen who got out did not score a good run for the team.  And Dhaka collected 97 runs in 16 overs which is very easy for Rangpur to win.  Rangpur has been performing well since the past.  If Dhaka could have scored 200 runs from 185 then there would have been a chance of winning with Rangpur.  Meanwhile, Rangpur's bowling performance is very good, today's victory is very likely for Rangpur.
Dhaka has been able to give a target of 145 runs. I think this is a good enough collection to cover Dhaka. Looking at Dhaka's batting, I thought that Dhaka will give a low target today. Their batting was good enough in the last few overs. Usman Ghani scored 73 runs off 55 balls. He batted wonderfully.

Rangpur lost opener Naeem at the start of their innings. Rangpur lost the first wicket collecting only 5 runs in 1.3 overs. Mohammad Naeem faced 5 balls and failed to collect any runs.

Even though Rangpur lost the first wicket quickly, Mehdi and Rony are able to play very well. Mehdi scored 26 runs off just 12 balls. At the end of 6 overs, Rangpur's collection is 48 runs. Rangpur now needs 97 runs off 84 balls to win. If Rangpur does not lose quick wickets then Rangpur will not face any problem in defeating the Dhaka team.
Dhaka may be defeated again today. The Dhaka team was able to win the last match after losing 6 consecutive matches. I thought they might win a few more games. But their overall performance is still very weak.

An equalizer by Reims at the Parc des Princes denies PSG a victory. Despite having all three stars, this PSG team looks like medicare. At the moment, PSG is struggling. When did they last win a big one? Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe played together to secure a draw against Reims. For PSG, Neymar scored, and for Reims, Balogun scored.
It was a shame for PSG to have a draw at home because the PSG players were unable to score more goals in the first half and also only one goal in the second half through Neymar. And that was rendered useless when Reims' Balogun scored in stoppage time leaving PSG's players no longer having time to respond.

Very strange that PSG failed to win this match. I've seen the game, during the full match PSG was dominating the match so far, at least in terms of possession, I think around 60 to 70% position was held by PSG. I honestly thought that PSG should win this match. After all, they were playing against a team which is in the middle of the table. So in my opinion it shouldn't have been too difficult for PSG to win this match, but they didn't.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 30, 2023, 05:09:04 AM
Both the captain and vice captain held their nerves to clinch a nervous win yesterday. I am not sure why there were two run outs as Indian batters are known to be very vocal and coordinated than other team batters. It is very rare to see run outs now days. Still a crucial win for the Indian team as they can now play the series decider match next in Ahmedabad. Newzealand did their level best to win the match after scoring the lowest total agains India in a T20 match. Indian batters had to play till the 19th over to chase 99 runs.

I would say the Indian batsmen's performance was poor. The Indian bowlers bowled so well that they managed to restrict the New Zealand team to just 99 runs. Every Indian bowler is bowling very well. However, batting only for a target of 100 runs, the Indian batsmen faced a lot of problems. The top order players should have batted responsibly. India needed 13 runs in the last two overs. And these 13 runs were difficult for India to collect. However, the Indian batsmen will definitely need to perform better if they want to win the last match.

Balogun is deserve as man of the match today besides scoring goal in the last minutes which makes PSG failed to earn 3 points from this match he also performing well and during this match his movement is very difficult for PSG players to guard

Balogun's performance was good throughout the match. And he keeps Reims' attack strong. I don't think Reims players will play such an attacking strategy against PSG. Balogun and Flips performance in this match was excellent. Reims were lucky and their players were very confident in this match so they managed to get points in this match. At the same time, it has become riskier for PSG to hold the top spot in the points table.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 30, 2023, 04:58:42 AM
Next matchday Madrid host Valencia CF, a team that is in mid-table but has historically been known for playing great games against Madrid and Barcelona, only to blow it against teams like the bottom team the following matchday. A slip up in the next game could start to make people very nervous at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid's performance may be a bit erratic right now. But Valencia is a very weak team. They have lost three of their last four matches. They have lost 8 out of 18 matches this season. And so the possibility of Madrid losing points in this match is very low. If Madrid players make big mistakes or defenders perform poorly during the match then it will be easy for Madrid to get 3 points in this match.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 30, 2023, 04:53:35 AM
Meanwhile, there is a team called Liverpool that used also to be a top one, but this season it shows a nightmarish results, they even got kicked from FA Cup by Brighton.
Could they guarantee any European competitions spot for the next season seriously?
As a fan of LFC I can say that it is very difficult and it might even be a season that will not see Liverpool playing in any European competition, their only hope is to win the UCL but this is even more difficult than fighting for a spot in another European competition. Seeing how they lost to Brighton twice in a row is really unexpected and how their 3 strikers after the change didn't work at all is disappointing.

376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin always shames social media experts. on: January 29, 2023, 03:58:08 AM
One unique feature of Bitcoin is that it always put social media acclaimed "experts" to shame. Sometimes these social media bitcoiners claim mastery over bitcoin. They indiscriminately predict its price as if they invented the coin with Satoshi. Even Satoshi now might not understand the price movement of Bitcoin because the creation is now economically powerful.

Through trial and error, some of them might have been predicted correctly in the past. And they have large followers that believe their analysis and follower their predictions.  One social media so-called expert recently shut down his social media platform because he predicted that bitcoin would keep falling until it goes into extinction. It was his followers that attacked him until he forcefully closed his page.

Happy bull run.

But the problem is that even if their prediction is wrong, they still have millions of followers, what about you, does anyone follow you? I mean, it's their job so they have no shame in doing their thing, because their ultimate goal was to make money and they did. I believe you are following those people too, because if you don't follow them how do you know they are wrong about bitcoin? So stop chasing and laughing at them, focus on how to hold more bitcoins than them, that's the goal you need to aim for.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin now so you don't have to regret it later. on: January 29, 2023, 03:49:49 AM
I was fortunate enough to learn about Bitcoin before it became so popular. Similarly, I'm one of the idiots who saw this as a huge opportunity to make money, didn't think twice about it, and let it pass them by.
Back in 2014, I started my first full-time job online on Fiverr, and I had a couple of friends who were passionate about Blockchain and Bitcoin. It didn't take long for me to make a friend named Michael. We talked a lot about programming and new technology like IoT and AI most of the time. We used to play video games together most of the time when I visited him.

One day, after finishing the game, I took his phone to call my girlfriend, and then I noticed something on his phone. It appears to be
1BvBMSEZstWetqSFy5Au4m4GFg7xJaHVG6.

I noticed that he wanted to send it to someone. I was like, what kind of nonsense is this? He said it wasn't gibberish, then he explained everything I needed to know about Bitcoin addresses and blockchains, and his enthusiasm for the subject captivated my attention so much that I didn't want him to stop talking. But then I recall most of the Ponzi schemes that I fell prey to in the past.
The more he talked about it, the more Bitcoin appeared to be the better option for me. It was worth a shot.
One of the biggest issues I had that year, and it was the worst year of my life, was that I was very poor, and I didn't have extra money to gamble on something I don't know about. As a result, I concluded that I can't gambling on this.

I'm furious at myself for not purchasing bitcoin sooner. Though I'm a happy man now because I can now smile at my wallet.

Invest now, so you will not regret it later.

There are millions of people who have missed an opportunity like you, not just you, but those people have no regrets or anger because they know that the future is unpredictable. And they fixed it by investing bitcoin as soon as they found out all about it. You don't need to regret or whine, you still have a chance to get started with bitcoin.
What I want to know is did you invest in bitcoin when you realized its potential or did you keep whining and not buy bitcoin thinking it went too high?
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 29, 2023, 03:44:20 AM
...but I want to ask what is your goal by spreading bitcoin stickers in public facilities? do you have a goal to improve the community's economy? or how?

His goal was to make people aware of the existence of bitcoin and it was a success. Even if you, or I, cannot improve your own economy, don't expect a way to improve the economy of an entire community. We can only show them the opportunity and it's up to them if they can make it happen, we can't help them with that.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: January 29, 2023, 03:39:17 AM
So, investing on bitcoin will assure with the better rewards for their kids than mere earning out of traditional investments.

Saving bitcoins for our children is an interesting idea but is it good or bad is still a question. Bitcoin is not like gold, the future of bitcoin is a question mark and if you are not willing to take the risk then choose gold as a savings asset for your children instead of bitcoin. I don't want to risk my children's future, so I will choose the safe, I will save the gold for them and the bitcoins I will use only for my venture investments.
380  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 27, 2023, 02:37:24 PM
Please don't let my question cause so much hate on me but rather let's also be realistic at times.
Though I haven't invested a reasonable sum in Bitcoin, I've at some point after watching how the market and price of Bitcoin fell from over $60k to less than $12k something similar to what altcoins do and it prompted some questions like
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?

It will be if this questions are answered without sentiment as I'm open to learn.

It's almost impossible for bitcoin to drop to zero in my opinion and I've never thought of that so I don't know what will happen after that. I think once you invest in bitcoin then you should trust it instead of doubting it because when it fails it won't give you any profit but when bitcoin goes high it will make you lots of profit.
