421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 13, 2018, 12:55:47 AM
Social media are the things we should not believe the most. The news is uncertain and sometimes it does not affect our portfolio too much. We should not listen to the words of journalists say, we have to design their own strategies to play with the market. That's the best way.
The thing with social media is that it gives room for certainly every single person and animal to do and say whatever they like as long as they derive benefit from it or NOT. So many people do certain things for different reasons, and for some, it is usually to just find a way to increase their followers at the detriment of those following them, or even at times, feeding on them by calling crazy tips for their benefit.

There is nothing as good as having the knowledge and practicing to get better on your own, and for those who are too lazy to do so, they will keep being a victim to these social media tips.

Just listen in this forum here in bitcointalk, and I think that social media tips isn't believable yet due to more fud circulating around the web networks. Their target victims was those who were innocent crypto researchers. This forum was created in order to help every people acquir enough knowledge, so it's better to stick here and nevermind social media tips.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still think it can hit 20k !! be optimistic on: September 12, 2018, 03:02:23 AM
As an optimist here with bitcoin, I am always looking forward to witness bitcoin price to hit that huge price soon. Hopefully this year wouldn't end prior the value could spike that profitable value. That tip peak of the price of $20k history last year might be surge back again and possibly be a target of all holders whom didn't able to grab much greater opportunity of dumping their holdings that time. We need to somehow be careful if bull run will come unexpectedly.
423  Other / Meta / Re: Most new accounts do not contribute anything on: September 05, 2018, 09:32:09 PM
I think some of the new accounts that are being created here are done by newbies who doesn't have any bitcoin to pay for the Evil IP thing and that is the reason maybe they abandon their account.

I disagree. I recently created a new account (for a company project to be announced soon) and I did not face any IP restrictions by the forums, even though I already own two accounts here (disclosed on my feedback page).

The Evil IP fee only applies to addresses that accounts have been banned on. So just creating a new account wouldn't mean you would have to pay. The spambots are using proxy services and when they sign up an account there is a high probability that it will be from an Evil IP address and they are asked to pay a fee which they obviously wouldn't. There was another thread looking at the stats here and they found 77% of recent accounts are still ranked Brand New.

Probably these users were spammers and they didn't actually contribute to the forum as of these days. Most of their thoughts were useless and some posted short lines with non sense ideas. This could not do anything good for the forum, and worst it made the bitcointalk forum flooded with their spams. With the merit system I suggest that this brand new accounts shouldn't be ranking up unless a merit will be given, and for that reason spam and non sense posting quality will be eliminated here.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: September 02, 2018, 01:56:50 AM
I think this is a good time to buy now, but it is undeniable that Bitcoin is really affected by the ETF, but I don't think this effect will last too long!

Perfect time to buy Bitcoin was before 2 week, then price was around 6000$ dollars. Now of course no bad time to buy too, so in one way or another, to earn money, you need to buy as soon as you can

Now is a good time to buy. We can see that market started recovery and up-trend. So buy crypto now is almost without any risk.

Yes, this is our best opportunity to buy at a lower price in the market because after this fluctuations we'll be going to the fast increasing price. Pumping price will be coming in our way, so grab this chance now. Bull run we be taking over and panic buyers will begin rushing their hands to buy.
425  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io 🚀 [Signature Campaign] 🚀 [Up to .015/week on: August 31, 2018, 11:45:33 PM
I confirmed the payment received here with this campaign Jeremypwr, great job. Hopefully we'll be working again soon for your another journey. I wish you more luck and better opportunities to come. Thank you and God bless Wink
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again BTC going down? on: August 30, 2018, 06:25:04 PM
today the wave to get there seems to be stalled, not knowing because of what happened so it has decreased.
for now it might still stop and in the direction of the current candle.

It has decreased because day traders were having their weak hands showing up. They don't even have patience over the current pumps of the price, and I also forsee the demand supress a little but don't worry for this minimal fluctuations at a moment. We will survive the current obstacles that we're going through, and even though this put us in risk many people still trusted the positiveness on how bitcoin will expand it's market day by day.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cannot be reached 20000$ this year?? on: August 30, 2018, 01:24:06 PM
In order to again exceed the price of $ 20,000, some very significant global events must occur. This year, most likely no strong push that would allow bitcoin to update its maximum - will not happen.
That is just it and that would be news that would really fuel in a huge demand for bitcoin in a pretty huge way than we can all imagine. I really do not see much happening this year if we are to end up relating it to the market movement towards $20k.

We will really need that strong push to get it up there with the fact that a lot of those who managed to hold still with the market trend after buying at the top, would quickly want to sell and get out. Some weak hands are still in the market, but despite the fact that some have lost hope, some are still just hoping for that day they will just simply get out which would obviously bring about a huge resistance as we keep going up.

Those weak handed people was too creepy when it comes to momey, they don't think on how bitcoin could go through much profitable potentials. These bunch of morons always acted like a little kid whose desiring to eat a lollipop, but not even looking for much better than it like an ice cream or something chilly. If this will continue to happen many greedy individuals dumped coins after some sorts of increase, then we'll not able to obtain that $20k expectations.
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price after another ETF rejection by US SEC on: August 30, 2018, 06:16:34 AM
In the coming months, they are   9 ETFs are there for approval awaiting from US SEC hopefully we can expect a positive outcome from Sec re-approval thought

If you aren't psychologically ready to take another 9 ETF rejections by the SEC then you aren't going to do well in bitcoin. The only way to keep a strong hand and don't do anything stupid is if you stop expecting that the ETF will ever pass. Assume the SEC doesn't have an incentive to pass it and move on with your life, bitcoin will do well without the ETF, hard money always wins in the end, the ETF passing would only speed up the rocket.

Agree with your statement mate, yes bitcoin will do well without ETF. It is not bad for now bitcoin will increase even ETF was rejected that we expect that after rejection ETF will have an effect to the bitcoin and it might sink the price in the market. But their prediction was wrong that ETF will have a big impact if it is approved by SEC. One thing that comes up in my mind, before bitcoin pumped up the price last year without ETF so there's no reason that it will not happen again.(IMO) Wink

Of course it will happen again without an ETF, it's just things will be different this time around, it could take longer. At the beginning of 2017, that's when the price was starting to slowly rise.  A lot of people heard about Bitcoin through friends/family that wouldn't stop talking about it (me being one of the talkers). They heard about how everyone that was holding Bitcoin was making money, so they bought some to get in on the money making machine. That is what really caused the bubble last year, that and the massive amount of media coverage.

Now that everyone knows about Bitcoin, in my opinion, the rise back to $20k will take much longer without an ETF. With an ETF approval, I think that very well would cause a short term pump which would help initiate the next bull run.

If this will be successful in the near future of bitcoin, and with respect to ETF or something that made the world of bitcoin more precious. Bull run will be happening as long there's a potential increase in demand which could trigger people at a certain situations. Nothing to worry all about, because this plans will have to provide an assurance of digital currency to be more sustainable to the public so that the adoption will become more in demand.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin must be regulated! on: August 30, 2018, 03:02:43 AM
I agree with you, there must be an improvement from the Bitcoin development team so that new investors enter Bitcoin and stabilize the market, but to regulate Bitcoin I find it difficult because Bitcoin is decentralized, and its anonymity is an advantage that Bitcoin has.

For now if this is regulated it would be hard for those traders who earned lesser profit. While the value of bitcoin wasn't gaining yet it's not good to regulate due to small capabilities of earning better income. If Government will dominate the system, I don't think it will be fair for long time users of bitcoin. This must be reviewed so welk before implementing such regulations if it will provide better results or not.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now in use Football Sports on: August 29, 2018, 10:30:21 PM
Very good news, with this it can be seen that bitcoin will be an alternative payment instrument other than the currency of the country, and will continue to grow, hopefully not only from the football sport that will use it, maybe the motto GP or f1, it is not impossible to happen, where a BMW-like company has started using bitcoin payments

It will improve the current payment system of the country in terms of fast service compared from fiat manual payment. This will help us build a strong foundation of bitcoin price and with respect to the demand it will continuously increase, because many people are fanatic on sports not just like football sports but also for basketball and other games. Hopefully this type of adoption could be implemented with other countries, so they'll be able to have more popular and easy ways of getting profit on their sports business.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: August 29, 2018, 10:10:24 PM
Bitcoin price is stable for some time , and it seems that this price dont go below his support line at 6000$, so It looks like the bottom has already been touched.
If it is true , from now on we could only wait for bull market start kick in and see or this time it goes over  20000$.
Yes you're right mate, the bull market should be waited and as part of Bitcoin community development. We as traders, should help other people whose newly been able to adopt digital currency to have faith and strong determinations. If you provide them the encouragements, like thinking longer terms they could come up a desire of not dumping their assets quickly. They'll acquire a mindset of having patience during bearish market situations.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many consumers own cryptocurrency? on: August 29, 2018, 09:29:30 PM
That data could not be used as a pattern to assess how many people are owning cryptocurrencies since the sample size does not represent even the third part of a country but it can be used as a reference to tell that cryptocurrencies are getting more popular and those numbers could go higher as the time flies, cryptocurrencies are really a threat for the fiats.

Actually these days people remain anonymous on their asset holding, because this was a confidential matter and considering it involves a lot of money. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency has it own secrecy depending on how you understand the true purpose of it. Mostly the strong and dedicated holders doesn't have it opened to public or even the closest friends they had. For my own understanding on this the actual numbers cannot be determined, because some are using offline wallets; so the numbers are infinite.
433  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin not the choice of criminals anymore on: August 29, 2018, 09:06:36 PM
okay, maybe you think crime has drastically reduced. How to deal with people who do free trade such as sex, drugs, illegal weapons, and funding an illegal community like ISIS. Isn't that a crime that must be eradicated?

I don't think crime must be erradicated through bitcoin, because it has an independent body that will be used for independent spending. The decentralized currency isn't a preference of these criminals and terrorists like as you said ISIS, due to traceability of blockchain transparency. Those unrightful acts of these people who had illegal and devious acts couldn't do at their freedom, because bitcoin cannot be into cash form if not being deposited to the bank or any money transfers establishments, like western union.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 29, 2018, 08:46:13 PM
Yes, as we know now, the price in the market, whether it's bitcoin or other coins, is experiencing a significant decline. but that does not mean this will be the end of cryptocurrency. because cryptocurrency prices are volatile or very fast changing, then there will definitely be a time when all returns to normal

You're certain mate, bitcoin will not end but the hope of those who dump early is the reality that ended. Some people weren't having a proper mindset on this matter, and their thinking wasn't aligned to what's positive with bitcoin now. We're closer to ber months now, even though the prices of all coins was in red arrows, it doesn't stop us from holding our asset as long as it recovers from time to time.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: August 29, 2018, 08:08:19 AM
I think some people invest because of hobbies, investing in gold and silver in my opinion is safe enough to do because the value is stagnant, that is part of the reason and of course many other reasons why many people like investing in gold and silver
I believe some people just truly enjoys collecting a variety of gold bars and silver bars from different manufacturers around the world, and I knew some bullion manufacturers does also launch out gold coins and silver coins with an unique design in limited quantity and some collectors are even willing to spend huge amount of money to buy it, this is also one of the reason that attract some investors to invest their money into gold and silver, as they believe they might be able to sell those gold coins and silver coins which are minted in limited quantity at a good price in the future.

Older people has been so fanatic of physical assets like gold and silver because of it's popularity, that gains more demand in terms of fashion and values. However the investment it takes for so long wasn't so fast to grow of it's price in the market. Some people prefer to have personal deals in selling their wealth which was considered as most precious assets, that can be sold when there's an emergency need for fiat money.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: August 29, 2018, 02:48:13 AM
I don't beliece on btc price predictions their is uncertainty for that. It may true once it hit the price so actually prediction is just predictions. Price of bitcoin is really volatile and it is hard to guess what be the price should be.

Predictions was just based on how people analyzed the current trend of price in the market, but the actual thing about bitcoin was the real time change of price value. We can't stop people in believing that the price will have specific amout to be achieved, and the most important is we know our limitations beyond our perceptions. The volatile character of bitcoin doesn't fall on negative sides, because volatility is a movement of price when fluctuations happened so it might trending lower of might be spiking up higher very fast or maybe  fast to drop lower.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Who really wins? on: August 28, 2018, 10:57:56 PM
With bitcoin I guess those who patiently waited for the right price really win over the current struggles. But for those who will panic, they're all green and just think of their own benefit despite of helping the community they make it more worst. So the end of the story will be regrets for them, and nothing to blame is their own self. We should be steong enough so that we'll be able to withstand with out principles with bitcoin's growth in its economy.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 28, 2018, 09:27:44 PM
I think that bitcoin is not bad and the current price is not bad for us compared to the previous 2 years. I do hope that bitcoin will rise but what I hope for this year is that bitcoin will continue to grow and the altcoin will return to its path

With regards to bitcoin's progress, I couldn't imagine falling of its value will erradicate more trends, because as trader I was immuned by this bearish market situations. No one would wonder this fall might continue to happen this year. There might be some certain fluctuations, but not to the extend that massive fall will happen because if that's possible nobo will hold bitcoin yet worldwide panic possibly affect lots of holders whose afraid of certain fake news.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: August 28, 2018, 08:21:26 PM
What is money even for in gambling when you don't even have skills and a brain to function? Money is useless in gqmbling if you don't know how the game works, it's all in the strategy, being strategic is everything here in gambling, and even if you have little money it does not matter, as long as you know how to win and how to bluff.

That's good to know if a person has all of that characteristics, but we can't expect all gamblers to on that aspects mate, we might encounter or observe none of that advantages will be seen. There's a lot of player who just play for good and not even thinking for what might happen, money is not their priority and they even play a bet just for fun without thinking for profitable wins. That's why in gambling it's been characterize as not a source of sustainable profit, but a form of entertainment which you actually have chances to win for lucky prizes.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will BTC dominance go? on: August 28, 2018, 07:59:47 PM
BTC dominance seems to continue creeping on upwards. How high do you think it will go without an actual bull run?
And how high have you seen it go?

In reality bitcoin dominance is much greater than coinmarketcap shows. A lot of alts have artificially inflated caps, it will go away soon. Many projects will fail.

I think that this statements is closely related to what's been goin on with the reality right now mate, and some of the projects which I've been part of were really failing. We need to be more vigilant in picking up those new projects which you wanted to be part of, whether its a bounty campaign or being an investor for the ico project. Probably those artificial inflated market caps, was their fishy strategy that has been detected by investors who happens to pull out their asset by dumping it all the way and suddenly fall down bitcoin's price value to the dipped scenario.
