421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 17, 2023, 05:26:04 PM
The weakest human in the world is a human who is willing to take his own life, his mind is very short, there are many gamblers out there who lost more money than him but they have no intention of ending their lives.  Therefore, every gambler must have good thoughts and strategies when gambling, try to set a budget when starting to gamble, not more or less, don't create debt just to gamble, if you lose and run out of capital then stop for now, continue tomorrow, capital that has been lost is impossible to return again in a short time.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 16, 2023, 11:40:04 PM
Napoli managed to win, Mazzarri is safe fon now.

Osimhen is a great player, ready for Premier Leauge.
Napoli successfully won 2-1 over Cagliari and those who scored the goals were Osimhen and Kvarat, there are really rumors that Loverpool is very interested in him, he has promised not to move in the near future but i'm sure it will be different from what he said, he will definitely move to one of the teams in the EPL.  While Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw against Genoa, it was rare for Juventus to be at the top, despite only a few points between Inter and Juve.  Serie A this season really interests me, i can't wait for another great match for the teams competing today.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: December 16, 2023, 11:16:36 PM
Yeah, I heard this from Robert himself and I will say that it's very controversial, what works for him might not work for everyone.

Since people don't have the ability to use debts for good, it's better they get avoided.

I also know Kiyosaki's work well and in these types of threads I always repeat the same thing: using (good) debt to create wealth only works for a small percentage of intelligent, self-controlled people. For the vast majority of the population, if you want to improve your economic situation you have to avoid debt, especially consumer debt (taking a mortgage to buy your house is OK) and save and invest. That's all there is to it.
i have experienced it when we think debt is a way out but in reality it is a trap that makes your money run low, i always think that debt to start a business is quite scary, especially since we don't know what will happen to our business.  maybe we won't get a buyer, let's be wise in managing our finances, don't let debt be a way out, it's better for you to have only $1000 in assets but no debt than to have $10k but your debts are piling up out there.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: December 16, 2023, 08:07:37 PM

CONCLUSION
Establishing a strong and firm business doesn't come easy. It involves patient, time, passion and hardworking. Young entrepreneurs should try to learn from failed businesses and guide themselves with successful businesses.
only those who work hard are able to build their business from zero to big, and this is what i see CEOs of large companies who set up their businesses from a small scale have, i am also trying to run a small business and to be honest there are many trials what i often encounter, especially when my customers are quiet, is that managing finances well is something that every entrepreneur and businessman must master, although it is not easy, but slowly you will definitely master it, as long as there is a strong will on the part of that person.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 16, 2023, 07:41:53 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.

My favorite is sports betting, although I don't bet on all sports, i have a pretty good analysis of every sporting match that will occur, especially football, sometimes i also like boxing and car racing, but i focus more on analyzing football matches, even though the winning percentage i didn't pass 75%.  Focusing on the bets you are interested in can make your winning percentage higher than the percentage of losses you will receive.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember when Twitch banned gambling? Now they allow nudity! on: December 15, 2023, 10:51:19 PM
Not a long time ago, we had a lot of news and discussions on this forum about Twitch platform censoring gambling lives and content, due to their decision to keep the social media "family friendly".

Ironically, now artistic nudity is allowed (And who is going to define the limit between what is artistic and what is pornography?)!

Here we can see the double standards of Twitch's developers. Gambling was condemned as something outrageous, but nudity is fine as family friendly content...

Why do you think gambling has been being treated in a different manner by Twitch?

Twitch revamps rules on sexual content
Every platform owner has rights and obligations regarding how their platform operates, well in some countries nudity is not considered a form of wrongdoing, while gambling is considered a form of wrongdoing, if we want to complain then it is a wrong action, there is something wrong with it.  i think, if Twitch doesn't ban nudity then Twitch developers definitely want to move towards providing pornographic content, in some countries this is banned, this is like a boomerang for them, banning gambling content but allowing nudity.
427  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 15, 2023, 10:19:27 PM
We have cryptocurrency you still use Banks ?
The bank online many times not working slow Also i want to transfer fast to Canada to russia i cant do that or india to USA i cant do that i need instantly.
Also i asked money my bank dont give so If the bank don't help me to get rich then i dont need them.
Do you still use Banks ? Im using only cryptocurrency debit cards and they always work better than bank.
So Im still surprised If anyone still use Banks they are old

Do you use more crypto or banks for your daily or average transactions ?
Do you have had problems with hackers or someone steal money from your cryptocurrency or bank
Do you think banks not working reliable any more ?

I teach all my family to use cryptocurrency becouse i dont trust Banks and i think If you can tell your bank mind your business you are scam i told my bank If you not give me loans or credit i dont need you and i close it
i could say that almost 90% of the transactions i make still rely on banks, that's why i can't leave the bank and switch 100% to cryptocurrencies, another factor that influences me not being able to switch 100% to cryptocurrencies is because i still haven't Many merchants accept payments via cryptocurrency, this is also influenced by regulations regarding cryptocurrency in my country, i once accepted payments via cryptocurrency in my business but the response from customers was very bad, they thought cryptocurrency was a thing which is not normal if used as a means of payment.

I make Spurs favourites for this game but it will not be easy at all. Nottingham Forest will fight like dogs at home. Should be an interesting game.

Spurs need a win to stay in touch with the top 4 and Forest do not want to slip closer to the bottom 3. Kick off in 40 minutes.
The lineups of both teams have appeared and i see that Nottingham Forest uses a 3-5-2 formation while the formation used by Tottenham is 4-2-3-1, as the host it is clear that Cooper is using a defensive strategy in this match.  in the previous match, tottenham managed to win 4-1 over newcastle so this time this match will definitely take place with an advantage over tottenham, well their current performance is improving.  i estimate the final score is 2-0 for Tottenham to win.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is arbitrage still possible in crypto ? on: December 15, 2023, 09:23:31 AM
is arbitrage still possible in crypto ? anyone has any luck with this method ?
Arbitrage is still very possible to try, but as many other members have said, you have to have a large amount of capital to be able to make a decent profit, apart from that, you also have to think about the fees you will pay, don't let the fees you pay end up being bigger. of the profits you might get, i still have a friend who uses the arbitrage method quite often but he said that in arbitrage timeliness is the key, don't ever think you will make a profit if you buy and sell too late, well factors such as the internet network also have a strong influence.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: December 14, 2023, 08:04:25 PM
I agree with you about investing. It is a long term commitment and we can not expect to make money right away. Starting with a small amount of money is fine because it lets you learn about investing without risk too much. I m glad to hear that you started small and then added more money with time. It is impressive that you invest when Bitcoin was worth a lot and when it was worth low. It show that you are dedicated and willing to take smart risks.
And Investment is second name of long term. If you have invested so just wait for the best time. If you are you are trying to invest in short term so I think this is trading not an investment(long term investment).
Therefore, before we get to know or do research on the assets we will invest in, we must first understand the concept of investment. Everyone may be familiar with the word investment, but not everyone knows what the real meaning of investment is and the essence contained in it. After we understand that, then we start to understand the assets we will invest in, in this case bitcoin for example. It doesn't stop there, but we must have a long-term plan about the investments we make.
The basic thing to remember is, investing is not something that will make us instantly rich.
There are quite a lot of people out there who don't understand what investment really is, they think an investment is just buying and holding for a long time, and that's wrong.  when you invest, there are many things you have to learn, namely about asset choice, and timing and also the strategies that use to buy, meanwhile, if you invest in Bitcoin, you must not be careless, you must have a thorough plan and a good strategy, so choosing this strategy is what can make your investment profitable in Bitcoin.  My advice is always to use the DCA strategy and also buy the deep in investing. in bitcoins.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 13, 2023, 11:06:35 PM
Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

For them it's about your addiction, and that's what brings in more money, and I am here to announce to you that time fixation is also a good way in gambling, spending 20 minutes in casino a day is better than someone who spend 1 hour.

1. Have a amount limit you can risk on gambling every week.

2. Choose your favourite day in a week for gambling.

3. Have a time count down when gambling, to avoid spending too much time.

Go back home or close your laptop once your time is up, and wait for the coming day, go back to your daily life and business, chase your goals using your business and invest more money on assets.

Do you agree or disagree? Drop your reason why.

Everything you said above is part of gambling responsibly and people who are safe or not become gambling addicts will definitely apply methods like those on your list.  Responsible gambler, will never want to get themselves into trouble, they will always try hard to control their desire to gamble because they know there are other things they have to do in real life, they can't possibly play 24 hours a day.  Just pay attention, usually a gambler wins big in the first few hours he plays, not when he plays for many hours.

*The high volatility attach to it can be very risky.

* It's not generally accepted by all.

* It can be stolen if your system is hacked.

* It's almost near impossible to retrieve if sent to the wrong address.

  advantages of having it

* It can make you filthy rich during the bull run.

* It decentralized, no third party like banks and financial institution.

* It's a self custodian asset, the privacy is priceless.

* It's very accessible at any given point in time.

I don't know if I missed some that I didn't mention.

Bitcoin price volatility will actually never cause losses to any Bitcoin investor if that person doesn't sell the Bitcoin they own.
it's not a hacked system that can make you lose your Bitcoin, but if you carelessly save your password and private key.
i would like to add a little about the benefits of Bitcoin, that is you can transfer large amounts of money between countries and continents in just a fraction of a second, even without fees of up to tens of dollars.
the bitcoin you own will not be able or impossible to be stolen by other people if you protect your password and keyphrase.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 11, 2023, 06:16:03 PM
If Man United looks for a new goalkeeper, there should be 1-2 goalkeepers to be out from Man United because Man United has 3 goalkeepers now. Besides Onana, Man United has Altay Bayındır and Tom Heaton. I don't think Man United will keep all the existing goalkeepers because it will spend too much money for goalkeepers' salaries. As long as they don't break the limit made FFP, I think Man United will have no problem to do it. But honestly, it is too early to buy new goalkeepers because they just signed Onana and Altay Bayındır in the previous transfer window.

Man United has too many problems, they have a problem with defense line and attacking line. I think both defense and attacking deserve to rebuilt. So, I think it is okay if Man United are looking for attackers. But they also need to rebuild the defense line as well.

the issue of disharmony within Man Utd has already been heard quite a bit, before Onana came to Man Utd, Man Utd management reportedly wanted Emiliano Martinez instead of Onana but Ten Hag did not agree with Man Utd management, so actually the recruitment of goalkeepers at Man Utd was influenced due to Ten Hag's decision, in the next transfer season there is a big possibility that Man Utd will hunt for another goalkeeper to accompany Onana, it is also possible that they will continue to target Martinez and 1 or 2 of the existing back-up goalkeepers at Man Utd will be sold to reduce the salary burden.

As a newbie that I am in this forum, I have been very observant in things that have be going on in this forum, but one thing that stands out too me that I found really impressive is the law, and measures put in place to do follow up on defaulter.

No body is above the law, an this forum demonstrate that to the greatest effect that I have ever experience.

Sometimes we do make mistakes as humans that we are, but in order for the forum to be transparent and clean the law and the standard need to be maintained.

435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 11, 2023, 05:28:28 PM
i actually plan not to gamble during this Christmas holiday, well this month there are really a lot of expenses, we even plan to go on holiday to another city during Christmas so in order to maintain my finances, i will try to restrain myself from gambling this month lol.  i remember the story of a neighbor near my house, whose husband actually lost a lot when gambling on Christmas Eve several years ago, he thought he would be able to win big but in reality that wasn't the case, so he couldn't celebrate Christmas and New Year in peace with his family, his that story was actually one of my reasons for going "off" from gambling during Christmas and New Year.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 10, 2023, 09:23:19 PM
That’s how the world is structured, someone buys, and someone sells. The financial system is designed in such a way that people have to work and produce goods and services, and this is basically what economics is, and I also forgot about taxes, where would we be without them.  I agree about garbage, in developed countries they are effectively fighting it, whereas in other countries they only talk about it and do almost nothing about it.
Everyone in the world really needs to take care of all this in order to avoid "garbage" that pollutes, a glance at the economy, of course, to maintain the world economy, the resilience of people's purchasing power is really needed, so often goods are not actually needed for humans, it is mass-produced to keep the economic cycle solid, and just imagine how much damage and unemployment will arise if the production of goods or goods stops, let the world continue as it is now, trying to stop it will only drain your mind.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 10, 2023, 08:55:53 PM
It would be too much if Girona were targeting the title this season. I don't see anything great from Girona at all and with what they have shown at the moment it looks like it's just average. The season is still quite long and there is a possibility that several teams in La Liga will spend more on players in the next transfer window. Girona will face Barcelona and of course Xavi will not let Girona party at their home. The Blaugrana also really need three points to be able to stick closely to the top of the standings. I'm pretty sure Lewandowski will be celebrating the win over Girona today.
what actually happened to Girona, the first half match has not yet ended but they are already 2-1 ahead of Barcelona, i also looked at the statistics of the match, they actually don't have a good strategy and a lot of star players but they played very compactly and orderly.  i don't know how long Girona and Michel will be this lucky, but seeing how Girona has only lost 1 time since the start of the season, it seems Girona will be able to stay in the top 3 until this season ends.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 10, 2023, 08:36:26 PM
Hey house someone need a few clips here, don't know if a post of this exact nature has been discussed though.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.
taking care of children is the responsibility of both parents, it is not only the wife's responsibility and not only the husband's responsibility, but in a social society that has existed for thousands of years, women are the ones who have to put a lot of effort into the household, so that is based on your question, my answer is that the wife must stop gambling (the wife is obliged to yield to her husband) to become a truly responsible wife, my words may seem old school, but fate between men and women cannot be equal.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: On retirement on: December 10, 2023, 08:13:34 PM
What term retirement usually denotes to is, to stop working. People often don't like job, so to retire usually tends to be on top of the list. However, if one likes what he does, he will do something similar to pass the time even after retirement.

Now, I'll be honest, I dunno what I am driving at but I wanted to spark topic about retirement. Now, you go,
A hobby is something that a person cannot possibly give up even if that person is old and retired, so direct your hobby to something positive and constructive.  Most people misunderstand the meaning of retirement, they think that retirement means immediately stopping activities, even though the retirement period should still be used productively, there are many successful people today who emerged because they retired early from their old jobs and then they became strong. be creative and make great things, be creative and keep honing the skills or hobbies you have for your own development.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 10, 2023, 07:00:03 PM
If someone is a problem gambler and has repeatedly relapsed to problematic behavior related to gambling, I have come to the conclusion that it's best to quit cold turkey.

With other things it can sometimes be recommended that the addict slowly winds down their consumption of the addictive activity or substance, but that doesn't sound very realistic with gambling, does it?

Quitting cold turkey, contemplating on your mistakes and talking about it with a group and some experts sounds like the best path. What are your thoughts? Could a problem gambler quit slowly and expect realistic improvements?
Even though it is not a 100% effective method, there are many gambling addicts who stop slowly using counseling methods and also open up to each other in a treatment group, but there are also many who cannot stop slowly, they must do it immediately, the point is that the recovery process for every gambling addict is different.  Curing gambling addicts who have been gambling for years is not easy, it requires a consistent and gradual process because if it is not consistent then the chances of returning will be great, but trying to stop slowly in every gambling activity is a technique that is quite recommended.
