421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After Effects Of Gambling In Your Health And Pocket on: July 16, 2024, 10:24:38 AM
For me, the consequences of gaming can only be a waste of all the money. All other problems, such as nervousness and loss of sleep, fortunately, bypass me. However, since I am an unlucky player and, in general, I can hardly be called a player, all my money, which I sometimes allocate in the hope of getting a little more, flies away at the speed of light. But I don’t know how to experience such difficulties as finding additional money, taking out a loan, etc., because I am cautious about the family budget.
You make a good and quality posts always and I respect that a lot since I was a newbie. Not that I want to correct you but I just want to point to the fact that gaming and gambling are not the same. They are different because there are games that are not even on gambling sites although all games can be made for gambling purpose. The distinct difference between them both is that you can be gaming and not use money for it which is not gambling but games that requires money is gambling. So you are taking about gambling and not gaming.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How engaging was the forum without signature campaign? on: July 16, 2024, 08:17:18 AM
I just want to know, what was the engagement like in the forum discussion before signature campaign and how has the Advent of signature campaign affected the forum? Is it positively or negatively?
Low quality posts were more before signature campaign began but spam was less. After signature campaign was getting many on this forum, spam increased. But most people that are spamming are people from bounty campaigns. But reputable members post quality increases and they are in signature campaigns.

Should there cease to be signature campaign on the forum, what's likely the effect it will have on an average member of the forum?
You can easily know this if you study the accounts of those that are not in a campaign after a campaign ended or the person is removed. You will notice that the person will not post like before. Posting will significantly reduce and some people will not visit this forum again.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ecuador Vs. Argentina Yesterday- Did anybody bet on ? How did your bet go? on: July 15, 2024, 07:36:13 PM
Yesterday was te final of Copa América, but the game was Colombia VS Argentina, and not Ecuador.
It was today in my country. Time zone is the reason for the difference.

I didn't bet on that game and i'm glad that I didn't bet because my prediction was Colombia as champion and Argentina won the game on the se onda part of extra time.
The match was 0 goals to 0 and nobody won until extra time that Lautaro Martínez scored at 112th minutes. I thought Argentina would win and it won but I did not bet on any country to win.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After Effects Of Gambling In Your Health And Pocket on: July 15, 2024, 05:39:14 PM
Losing money and losing sleep are the two worst feelings a gambler will feel after losing that money that they cannot afford to lose, which is why it's essential that you only play with money that you can afford to lose, that way, playing has no pressure to win, and you can fully enjoy the experience whether you win or lose.
The time that I lost money more in gambling and trading, I slept more than when I do not lose money. But what I do not like about it is the depression it is associated with the loss of money. But I will later forget about it and not think about it again. This was common to me when I started to gamble but I later know that gambling can not be a way of making money at all.

To be losing sleep because of gambling is very bad because it can harm the person's health.
425  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Am I the person at the origin of QR based hardware wallets? on: July 15, 2024, 08:46:35 AM
You mean what you can use QR code to do?

It can be used for making payment. You will use it to scan the bitcoin address if the wallet can generate QR code address and the other device can make use of camera to scan the QR code.

Another use is to set up a watch only wallet. The wallet will generate the address or the master public key which the other wallet can scan to set up the watch only wallet.

It can be used for what you want it for which is to transfer transactions that are not signed to a signing device. Wallets like Electrum can be used for it on a device that is permanently offline or using it on hardware wallet like Foundation Passport or Keystone.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Income statement: can it be used to mitigate huge losses due to addiction. on: July 14, 2024, 02:42:13 PM
Many casino already ask to submit KYC, but there's no action either the government or the casino to limit or exclude the gambling addict, so even the casino will ask every gambler to verify their account, I doubt they will take care with those addicts.
There were some actions taken by some governments but in a way that it is not effective. Like on some gambling sites, the gambling site would ask you to select the maximum amount that you can afford to deposit for a month. But if you have deposited up to the amount and lost it all while gambling on the complain site, the gambling site will not allow you to deposit more money but you can go and edit it after 24 hours that you set it and increase the amount and you will be able to deposit more. So we can still say that you are correct about this.

Both casino and government are making money from the gamblers losses, casino will earn money from the loss and the government will earn since the casino need to pay tax.
Which makes the government not to care. The regulations are towards generating more taxes but no concern about how people are losing.

going through KYC alone can feel like your privacy is being violated already, and if it has become a requirement that you have to provide an income statement, I feel like a lot of people would further feel violated. I am certain a lot of people would disagree with this.
Most gambling sites requires KYC now. But with KYC, this is not still possible because of how gambling sites are.

anyway, gamblers could simply just create another account on another casino if they reach the maximum amount they can deposit on the casino they were previously gambling on.
This is true.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Single Broker: Any Users Here? on: July 14, 2024, 02:32:31 PM
Let us know the link of the single broker site. Definitely it would be one of the the existing scam sites. There is no single broker or what you call it. Do whatever you want to do on the legit exchanges and not use anything that can become scam and feel sorry for yourself when it is already too late after you have been scammed.
428  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evason rule for Profiles representing Businesses [Inquiry] on: July 13, 2024, 02:14:47 PM
I think theymos will have to be the one to answer this question. But I think if an account is banned because of plagiarism, any account related to that person known on this forum are also going to be banned. It is not about business or not business. If a company is affected because the person they hired is banned, the company can appeal for the ban.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The probability is unimaginable! on: July 12, 2024, 03:03:43 PM
But the question is, what if you know the real probability and you know your chance? Will you still continue to gamble?
Yes as long as I am gambling with the amount of money that I can afford to lose. Like I have mentioned before on a post today but of a higher percentage now that if you earn $500 weekly and you gamble with 5% of it which is $25 and you go for $1 slot games. You can gamble as many as possible times and you may hit the jackpot. If you did not hit the jackpot and you lose all, you can afford to lose the money and you stop when necessary that you should stop.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 'play till you hit it' mindset on: July 12, 2024, 02:52:02 PM
Not everyone can be a jackpot/big hit winner and that's something we ought to accept I think.
What are your thoughts on this? Is constantly chasing big wins a practice you consider ok in gambling?
If you keep doing this, you will end up losing your savings and livelihood and even your mind, there is limitation on how far can you chase your losses, and you must know when and how to give up.
This is true but not entirely true. Assuming you earn $500 weekly and you are using just $5 to be looking for $5000 on a high odds games, that is not risky too much and the person knows what he is doing by chasing big winning. Even if he continues to lose the $5 every week, he will not see it as any big issue at all.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies available at LottoPark on: July 12, 2024, 02:28:52 PM
I saw some bad reviews recently about your service on Trustpilot. I believe more in bad reviews than to believe in good reviews.

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/lottopark.com

On another reviewing site, your site rating is 2.3 out of 5 which is even below average.

432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange in the UK has the Lowest fees for buying (only) Bitcoin on: July 12, 2024, 11:30:19 AM
I have read that Kraken withdrawal fee is cheap but I have not used the exchange before. I do not know about the trading fee.

I prefer to use OKX for bitcoin withdrawal. I think OKX is allowed in UK?

But if you are not the person that trade often but in just few time and you want your coins to be in your wallet after each trades, you can use http://exch.cx/. The exchange also support lightning network.

For small amount and if you are willing to use lightning network.  Binance, BitMart, OKX, Kucoin, Bitget and some other exchanges have lightning network payment.
433  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-07-12] Bitcoin Faces Market Challenges as Prices Fluctuate on: July 12, 2024, 11:16:15 AM
The best time to buy bitcoin is when the market is red and people are fearing to buy bitcoin. But the bear market may continues. To avoid losing too much if you want to invest, it is better you start DCA to take the opportunity to make money. If the price is falling more, buy more. The market bull time will come again.
434  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are Casinos Really Different from Regular Scams? on: July 12, 2024, 08:30:53 AM
Victims do not know that someone wants to scam them. It happens before they will know that it is scam.

Casinos are providing risky games to entertain people. On the casino ToS, you will see that people should not gamble because they want to make money. That they should gamble for fun and entertainment. Gamblers consent to that before they can proceed to finish registration on the gambling site.

Gambling sites generally are not scam because gamblers consent to their terms of service.
435  Other / Meta / Re: SMF patch, to display unlock at the top. Can it be done? on: July 11, 2024, 09:55:48 PM
While this might work efficiently for PC/laptops/desktops, the case is different when it comes to iPads/notepads/mobile devices. You still get to scroll manually to where you need be.
On phones there are much bigger issues than the location of this rarely used feature.
On phones, tablets and other devices that you can scroll up and down with your finger on the screen, it will take just less than 1 or 2 seconds if you increase the force that you used to scroll. If the network is good and the images load very fast, it is also easy on phones to scroll down to the last part. This is not an issue at all than what some users are posting about it.
436  Other / Meta / Re: SMF patch, to display unlock at the top. Can it be done? on: July 11, 2024, 03:05:29 PM
I do not have problem of where the move and lock links are which is the lower left corner. I can easily just scroll down and click on any of the two.

What I think is that if such links are on the upper left corner also, it will not be as beautiful as it is now. I prefer how it is now.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you using betting agent to stake on crypto gambling sites? on: July 11, 2024, 01:27:40 PM
Some gamblers who are not into crypto might use a betting agent, but it would need to be someone they really trust. They just want to make the process very simple, as studying how crypto works might be another burden for them.
People that do not know about cryptocurrencies can easily use fiat gambling sites instead. Have you seen any crypto betting agents before? I have not seen any before. Crypto gambling sites are for people that knows about cryptocurrencies already and using it or know how to use it. Traditional gambling sites are existing and should be the alternatives for those that do not have the knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with stablecoins, Fiat, or crypto? on: July 11, 2024, 07:23:21 AM
Personally, I like to gamble with crypto not only because it's "KYC-free", but also because it represents freedom. The only downside is market volatility.
Its volatility can also be an upside actually.
What I know is that the gambling sites are not KYC free even though the coins can be held on noncustodial wallet.

Imagine if you win some crypto and then its price hikes up, did you not only get profit from gambling but you also earned some profit from holding such crypto. There’s a lot of crypto out there not only bitcoin so if you think that bitcoin’s price is too high or too volatile you can always try to stick with much cheaper coins.
Bitcoin is less volatile than altcoins. Bitcoin price is too high should not be the reason you should go for altcoins because you can buy small amount of bitcoin and send it to the bitcoin address seen on your gambling site account. You can even send $10 worth of bitcoin to a gambling site to gamble. Make sure you check the minimum deposit for each coins and tokens.
439  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Request - USDT350 Fee 10% For 5 Weeks Payment on: July 11, 2024, 06:53:48 AM
Oh I see, there's something people often do to earn merit, by sharing links of their posts to help each other for getting merit, but I don't do that. By the way, I'm going to delete it because maybe I'm not competent enough.. thanks for the advice  Smiley
If you like, you can find all possible means to earn merit as long as you are making and posting quality posts. Quality posts are what that matters to earn merit. People that are having merits and reputations and also be in signature campaign are the ones that are likely to be given non collateral loan.

I can help you with the loan, but you have to prove the bitcointalk account is legitimate or not, I want to know if you are the owner here is a title of yours from 3 years ago https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic= 5300339.msg56128654#msg56128654

There is a published ETH address, can you give me a signature about it to verify it?
Either you are trolling him or you are working towards scam. If it is the later, sending him any amount of money will finally result to scam. Which means you will be scammed by this user.
440  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning versus the Liquid network on: July 11, 2024, 06:47:31 AM
It's a bank that stores Bitcoins, and this bank has useful tools for making transfers.
If it is bitcoin, why not call it BTC. It is called L-BTC. Lightning network is also another layer which is called offchain layer but it is still called BTC. BTC is BTC and not L-BTC. But BTC is pegged with L-BTC.

I do not entirely consider it as an altcoin as it is not totally separate from bitcoin main chain.
It is totally separate from bitcoin blockchain. But not only that, it is not also included in any of bitcoin BIP.

At best it is a token but since it is still connected to bitcoin, I would not consider it as an altcoin. I can compare it to ethereum's many networks. It is still ethereum but in different networks so that you can avoid the high gas fees of ethereum main chain.
There are many other coins that are altcoins but pegged with bitcoin.
