Some gamblers who are not into crypto might use a betting agent, but it would need to be someone they really trust. They just want to make the process very simple, as studying how crypto works might be another burden for them.

You did the right thing bro on tagging the account, they did not offer a guaranty on your bet they just post how their service work and leave their telegram its literally scamming people by making it appear how easy betting is, this is the first time I read about Crypto betting agent, I haven't encounter a thread offering such service that guy is the first one.

Its good that the community take action and expose this guy, he made an error posting it here he even defend his service.

Betting agent only works on offline betting platform they have a license and a shop to show to their bettors that they are a duly license betting agent.

The cryptocurrencies casinos are up exactly for this reason in the first place,for full decentralization and no need of third parties like a betting agent or a platform to deposit funds,you deposit directly into the casino wallet assigned to your accounts for deposits of any cryptocurrency that they support so this absolutely make no sense at all except pure trying to scam people who has no clue and can be super new to the crypto world.

Those of us who are quite familiar with online gambling and the operation of devices online will definitely see such betting agents as just a waste of time. because we can actually do it ourselves and directly.
The most likely to trust such betting agents are those gamblers who struggle online. they can't operate the device online or simply don't have online access.

The main target market of this scam scheme are those user that wants to gamble but don’t how to open an account because they don’t want to explore online. And there’s also gullible newbie users that want to try this service offered because they typically promise a high winning percentage.

Those who are losing frequently will be curious to try this service since they are already exposed to risk when gambling. I doubt someone in the forum that regularly hangout on gambling board will be gullible enough to try one of this service since it’s very easy to open sportsbook account to place own bet.

It's legal as long as the betting agent is regulated, as we know crypto casino isn't even regulated, how we can expect the betting agent is regulated in the first place?

If I'm not mistaken many casinos have a rule like "don't bet behalf of other people", so using betting agent isn't accepted on those casinos.

I am not interested to use a betting agent to stake on crypto gambling because I can do that by myself so I don't needs helps from them. If there is no office it means that it is a scam. If a land based casino shares their casino to different branches it means that the person in charge of a particular branch is the manager and the manager is the agent of that  branches and it also means that the person in charge of that branch is promoting the casino. But when a person doesn't have land base casino and he or she says that he is an agent of a casino it means that the person is a scammer. However this is a modern era and smart phones are everywhere, if one wants to gamble he or she should try and buy a smart phone and create an account in a reputable online casino then fund it and have fun.

That doesn't make any sense when staking your funds at our own risk when talking about money since we are purchasing coins to stake at gambling sites. We don't know what's the progress in the long run, and for whatever the offer is I don't think it's safe to entrust our money to them. However there's kyc but still we can't deny the fact that there's always a fears behind it, so it's better to use small amount of coins rather than expecting too much returns from staking.

Anyway, in general, if they don't have regulations, don't issue receipts, don't have a real official service, it's basically using a sort of black market for betting/gambling....with all the risks involved.

It is not. I'm guessing even the site that they were playing in isn't even legal in their local country which is why they are doing this in the first place. If you're playing on a reputable casino in the first place, you wouldn't have to have some guarantor that would secure the money for you so when the casino jump ships or didn't allow you to withdraw when you get a win you can still take your money back. Even worse, this just adds process that is unnecessary in the first place cause you could've just deposited your money on a reputable site, instead you have to pay agents just so they don't run away with your money (provided you don't know who your agent is). It's a whole convoluting process that makes it even harder for users to trust and gamble safely.

Don't know about these agents giving you some sort of "advantage" though, honestly don't think they do as well cause these people are separated from the casino itself, so they couldn't provide such advantages/favors to the players even if they wanted to. Just another false advertising to make it seem as though these "agents" are necessary.

Bothersome for them? Laziness? Idrk. It's probably the same reason why some people order for delivery at a restaurant a block away lol. I guess there are still some sort of complications sometimes but with how online has developed I highly doubt such a thing would still be a problem for most people. Even avoiding scammy bookies/casinos is doable with enough effort.

Betting agent could vary on types and we cannot predict we'll on how experienced they are until we have something to do along with them, agents too have their own commission they earned from each gambling we are taking because the company  that employed them will always made demands on that base on percentage the more they are bringing in new gamblers betting, everything now is making business in gambling such that no one is loosing.
