421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaurd yourself this year against crypto scams on: January 29, 2024, 08:49:58 AM
👉get rid of your get rich quick mentality : I know a lot of persons would be expecting me to say read their whitepaper, but like I said this guys are getting more smart and making a good whitepaper with excellent road map and all would not be a problem to them. But thign I know they can't change so easily is their offers, they would always work on your greed, trying to entice you with silly offers that are so good to be true. I'm crying 😢 right now cause I also wished they were true, but sorry they aren't and don't fall to such this year.
Investing in bitcoin does not require someone to have a get rich quick scheme mindset. Investing in bitcoin should give you the mindset of comfortability and not that of get rich quick. It is only whe investing in shitcoins and meme coins that the mindset of x200 will be in the investor.
Checking the whitepaper is still a good way to know scam projects. A scammer would not use 200% of his time and effort to write a whitepaper he will likely dump the next month. They end up plagiarising the whitepaper.

👉 track their anonymously: so far I've noticed that most scams don't project any team members to the public and if they do they are mostly fake and this way could be very effective than reading a whole whitepaper. Check if the project has any real life representative and follow them up and see if they are posting in line with their big project in hand. Why i feel this is a good idea is because they are still afraid of the government too.
Tracking the people behind the project has always been a good means to know a genuine project. Ensure real people with a proven track record are behind the project. And not people with unreal social media followers and hiding in the face mask. Money is hard to make and shouldn't be given out easily.

👉 yeah and  finally stop listening to influencers: many persons that have fallen for scam was found following one influencer or the other. Just know this people don't have you in mind and would promote any shit to get paid. Always do your own investigations if you must invest in any new project.
Most of the times, influencers are co-scammers but wearing the shepherd's clothing to deceive gullible investors.

👉only invest in bitcoin 😎:  by know we all know that bitcoin is the only reliable crypto right now. And I have history to prove that, to me every other  project is not decentralized as they claim to be because they still have a kind of supervisory body even tho they claim not to, people did fund those projects remember and they would want something, nothing is free, no altcoin is completely decentralized.
You cannot advice that we should only invest in Bitcoin, what happens to the other coins? Also bitcoin is not the only reliable coin but you can say that Bitcoin is the most reliable coin and that's good. I endorse freedom, anyone should invest in any good coin. Ethereum is nice, BNB has made name and likewise some other altcoins.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Steal Hundreds of Millions in BTC And Still Get Caught? on: January 28, 2024, 10:23:57 PM
three reasons

A. most scammers dont steal $200,000 from one victim. instead they steal $500 from many victims where by each victim does not feel its worth fighting because after legal costs of chasing the money they waste more money. so just treat it as a loss and not chase the money
(the "buy $500 giftcard, grandma" scam)

The efforts to locate one victim to scam $200,000 is quite lesser than to locate 400 people to scam $500 each. This could be a good reason they channel all their energy to one point rather than to numerous points.

If the scammer made a mistake like having all the Bitcoin that the scammer scammed in one wallet address then there's a chance that the scammer will be caught since Bitcoin transactions can be traced where the funds is going unless the scammer use a service to mix the coin. There are scammers who got away and I don't think scammers will get all most of the time. As you have known, scammers use many ways to scam people so we can assume that the scammer also have many ways to sell the crypto into fiat without getting caught.
Bitcoin is no longer highly decentralized. There's a possibility of moving the coins through a CEX and convert to a stable coin which is freezable. The government is fully against mixers and of the criminals go DEX, they could also lose what they stole. There are no much exit route for criminals.
423  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion payment for those new member on evil IP. on: January 28, 2024, 10:05:28 PM
So I decide to make new account follow dot at last character , look like cool for me and fine.
I know am new here, but I would like to given a suggest for make a new payment with bitcoin lighting or alt-crypto?

If that username means a lot to you and you cannot pay the evil IP fees, then continue posting here for two weeks to a month and PM me. if I find you made a high quality posts and earned ~3 Merits, I will add your account to my white list and you will be able to post using that username without paying.
Very nice offer Huge.
The essence of allowing the Op to make high quality posts and earn atleast 3 merits is to ensure that OP is not a random spammer. I believe OP can beat this challenge and maybe get help from others to enjoy your offer. What then happens if the former username is whitelisted. OP will end up having 2 accounts and the later username could be likely more important than the former because it will have merits. Maybe as a merit source, you will have a way to compensate him in the former account.

Here is what I don't understand: you first registered with the Gokana username and were met with the evil IP issue. By that time, you knew what evil IP was and that your IP affects that metric, and how much of a "penalty fee" you would have to pay to fix it. Why then, if you wanted to use the Gokana account in the future, did you create a new account (Gokana.) and pay the evil fee for that one instead of your original account?
The user became wiser to understand that he could use a clean IP to register to evade the evil fee and later return to his evil IP.

@upgrade00, even with on the bitcoin payment available, many newbies will see it as a scam. Imagine where you haven't been before and you are asked to pay to atone an evil you did not commit.
I thought that theymos has given LoyceV, Upgrade, hugeblack and others the authority to whitelist people and has included same in the welcome message. OP could have toed that lane.
424  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN]: Hacker1001101001 on: January 28, 2024, 04:53:49 PM
... and you have no right to question for your ban.
Are you trying to turn here to a court?
I am surprised that you are a senior member and yet you don't know how things happen here.
If there's room for appeal, it therefore means there's room to question. Here, freedom of speech is key.
425  Other / Meta / Re: [SAD] activity on: January 28, 2024, 02:31:12 PM
Don't know if I'm being too emotional here but I think my activity's stuck when it's just 2 left for me to achieve my senior member rank. Anyone here has an experience of what makes mine stuck  Cry ?
I tried reading through the forum about merits and activity and it seems activity is supposed to add up every 14 days so does this mean I have to wait for 2weeks 🥺
You are a full member and already enrolled in signature campaign, so this shouldn't be a new experience for you. Besides it is better that activity is holding you from ranking up than for merits to hold you. There's actually nothing to worry about because the difference between Snr member and full member is not very much. I will understand your complaint when you stuck for so long in the hero rank and want to rank up to legendary rank.

The activity system works differently for everyone, some peoples activities which I've seen, updates along side their post counts while some works randomly.
Doesn't that happen only when you're at Newbie rank or something like that?
Yea, it happened to me when I was a newbie and I think I used your inbox and you explained to me that activity increment is always in 14days. How time flies.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: January 28, 2024, 01:53:25 PM
please anyone can give a summary that i start using their app or this is a scam.

why i use pi or why i don't use pi?
The thing is they haven't launched it, so you can't tell if it's scam or not, but I have a friend that have passed his KYC (Know your customer) and have transferred his transferable pi to his wallet,
I also have a friend that sold his pi to someone for a huge amount of money, and was still looking for more to buy, so I think if pi will be something big then that will be in years time, and not definitely this year or next year.
I don't actually know when the pi project started but I can remember that someone sent me a link somewhere 2020 even before I knew this forum. I mined for some weeks but was not comfortable with the project and the stress to visit the app every 24hrs. As at then, I do not know much about cryptocurrency, but with all the promises they made, I still had the gut to uninstall their app because I thought that their main goal was to program my mind to stick with their app and that is why they had to ensure I open the app and mine atleast once every 24hrs. I had been controlled and being stressed, that was why I uninstalled it.

The thing is they haven't launched it, so you can't tell if it's scam or not,
This reasoning is faulty. This thread was made 2020 and this 2024 and the project is yet to be listed in any known exchange. Ok, you mean if they don't launch till 2030, we shouldn't conclude that it's a scam and maybe wait till 2050 when they will launch?
We can continue counting from here

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the possibility of discovering a memecoin that could change your life? on: January 28, 2024, 01:13:55 PM
I think that when doing your search, you should not try to be a millionaire overnight. This is one of the things that make people lose money. The desperation to have very great returns and all of that imagination. No one knew Bitcoin would do what it did, no one knew DOGE, SHIB, etc would do what they did. So, don’t think that you can know for the onset. Just invest into what you mind asks you to invest, if you’re lucky, the rare odds will be in your favor.
There are actually different mindsets when investing in bitcoin, altcoins and meme coins. To me, investing in bitcoin gives me peace of mind and I do not care watdafuck happens with bitcoin price because I own it for a long term purposes and I do not expect bitcoin to turn me to an overnight millionaire. So, it can be said that I expect nothing from bitcoin than comfort and stability. I do not believe that bitcoin can make me super rich but it can keep me comfortable for a very long time in as much as I own a fraction of it

This mindset is quite different when I investment in altcoins. I have a mixed feelings that some hi cap altcoins can bring about financial stability and can also make me rich but the chances are not high. So, this is the reason I do not buy them much or buy them at all because I believe there's no need for them when I can own Bitcoin.

The story is totally different for shitcoins or memecoins. The mindset is that they have the tendency to turn me to an overnight millionaire, which is true ofcourse. But then I also know that buying it is like gambling, that your capital can drain down the tunnel which already happened to me in the past.

* Diversification is good.
Maybe these advices need to be explained very well from the adviser's point of view. When we talk about investment diversification, many people mistake it for portfolio diversification. If you have bitcoin or altcoins, and go ahead to buy bonds, real estate or gold, I think it can be called investment diversification. But if you own bitcoin, and buy many altcoins in the name of diversification, you are wrong. Although, I don't know the adviser's point of view

Quote
* Save. Get to the point where you have enough to cover multiple years of expenses. Financial safety is freedom.
I consider this a good advice, but then saving in fiat is risky because of inflation.

Quote
* Be boring with most of your portfolio.
I don't understand this please. Does this mean you do nothing with your portfolio, just HODL?

Quote
* Don't use >2x leverage. Just don't.
2x to profit is 2x to loss...10x to profit is 10x to losses.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 27, 2024, 06:19:04 PM
Yes it's very valuble it's limited source but it can be working as currency and while world is full of crisis and more need to be printed some currencies Will value like wc paper.

It's funny but let's look the good currency have value and people need this and If fiat currency becomes devalued or low value then it has Even less value than real soft toilet paper.

Imagine in your village something happens then Im sure you can use to exchange toilet paper to food becouse toilet paper have Same value as oil food or some other commodities and in times of Crisis toilet paper value it's even higher.

So i bought a lot that in my basement lol ...i can borrow this with % and set up the local exchange rate in case for Crisis Im not expecting to see Crisis but Im just telling that's good valueble Asset.
Honestly, I consider this topic weird. I read through the Op but I do not actually understand what he was writing about. I tried to comprehend but the whole stuff was just strange to me. I considered to report to the mod but on the second thought I decided to read down the 3 pages conversation and to my greatest surprise, some people didn't consider the topic absurd as they were still contributing to the ongoing conversation. It was then, I thought that the post has a deeper connotations and not all about toile paper. But as I read more to quench my curiosity, I observed that OP was actually talking about the real toilet paper that I know.

Actually, as there are different countries in the world, so also is their problems, needs and solutions different. In my country, the people in the rural areas does not have any need for toilet papers as they can wipe their as with any soft leave or old papers. Children grew up wiping their ass on the ground. Now as I am an adult, I do not also use the toilet paper. You cannot find the toilet paper in my room, as I use clean water to clean my as which is more effective and hygienic. So, if there's ever going to be a scarcity of toilet paper, it might not concern me and my country men.

I remember seeing on the news footage of people in supermarkets, racing to buy toilet paper & fighting over it during Corona Virus. I find it ridiculous myself, if we ever find ourselves in an actual deadly pandemic that kills more people than survive it, the last thing I will care about is toilet paper. I will wipe my ass on anything I can find before I start fighting over toilet paper.
I do not even imagine that such news existed that people were fighting over buying toilet papers. Even during COVID 19, the most important accessory was nose mask and not toilet papers. Maybe it happened differently in different countries.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepare for the Next Dip before the Real Bull. on: January 26, 2024, 02:03:34 PM
The best way to invest in bitcoin is to use the DCA method because no one can predict the future. If you know technical analysis and look at bitcoin charts, the sharks and market makers can do that too, so never be too dependent on what the charts show us. If predicting bitcoin's trend is based solely on charts, you're not the only one who can do it.

I'm not saying that DCA is a bad method or accumulating as soon as possible is stupid, I'm just reminding @I_Anime not to rush. Is it wrong?

DCA is a good way to invest in bitcoin, but in some certain situations or circumstances, DCA is not always the best method. For instance, with the current market conditions, if I have a good sum to invest in Bitcoin, I am going in at once. I have my reasons which is; bitcoin has already corrected from 48k, there might not be further corrections and secondly, ATH is not met yet, so that's a great opportunity to make huge profits in the future. You might want to go with DCA and before 2 weeks, the market will fly very high thereby making you loose a good opportunity to buy at a discounted price.

This is not an investment advice as everyone has what works for them. The market is too dynamic and there are dynamic ways to make money and lose money in the industry. As old as I am, I am still making some newbie mistakes. No one knows it all, even an expert or your mentor sometimes makes some ridiculous mistakes and decisions. But what makes you the boss is standing firm to bear the consequences of your decisions, whether or not in the bull lane.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To any Bitcoin holder who lost their seed: How did you lose it? on: January 26, 2024, 01:28:27 PM
What mistakes did you make, and what advice do you have for others to be careful?
It is mainly early adopters of bitcoin that lost their seed phrase and maybe there was no seed then. It used to be a private key comprising of overly lengthy combination of words and numbers. There was no much awareness of how to secure ones bitcoin then. So, many of them relied on whatever means they thought is best to secure their bitcoin. It was during this period that the majority of bitcoin lost in history, either to scammers, Ponzi schemers or personal lost. People are wiser now and are able to secure their bitcoin.

What are the best and worst ways of storing a seed in your opinion?
One of the worse ways could be memorising your seed phrase while one of the best is saving offline in more than one location.

I made a mistake in the past by not considering the importance of storing my seed phrase securely and making multiple copies of it. I saved my seed phrase in a notepad on my personal computer. Unfortunately, my computer suddenly encountered a blue screen error. As I didn't have any backup copies, I wasn't able to recover my seed phrase, and consequently lost access to my Bitcoin.
I don't have to disbelief this story. But my question is how much bitcoin was in the computer that you could not fix the screen to retrieve your seed phrase. Well, I consider this as one of the thousands made of stories to complete post quota
432  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: January 26, 2024, 01:03:55 PM
Greetings everyone!

I really want to know if merit is necessary in other to secure my account, my friend who introduced this site to me said, I must have merit
If you have waited a while, you would have figured out yourself how important merit is in the forum. I have also seen that this thread has span upto 5 pages. But I still want to answer your question incase you are still reading. Merit is very important to everyone, including those that has thousands of it already. While lower rank members need merits for rank up, older members who already have thousands of merits need more for prestige. You might not have needs for merits if;
  • You will not want to join any signature campaigns
  • You don't intend to become a campaign manager
  • You do not want to join some contests and give aways
If you are here only to learn about bitcoin, you are free to even read from the guest mood and everything will be fine. But if you are here to earn, just like many, you will need merits.

Please how do I get this merit and how is it important.

You get merits by creating quality posts that teache new ideas or communicate old ones in a new way. You can earn merits by answering questions in the forum. You are likely to earn more merits if you are regular in conversations.

my friend who introduced this site to me said, I must have merit
I would leave a neutral feedback to your friend account since he spreading lies. Tongue
This sounds like a joke though. But do you by chance know the friends profile? I also think that his friend doesn't deserve a neutral tag because there's no prove that OP wasn't the one that misconstrued the one who introduced him here
433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Did you like this forum on: January 25, 2024, 11:53:59 PM
Furthermore ,I Dont know How much you like the forum...
Maybe I don't know how much I like the forum. But I know that I don't like the forum more than my girlfriend. But then I like the forum more than any other forum on the internet. This forum is known exceptionally for the dishing out of high level information for free. That is the most reason I fell inlove with the forum to the highest level. When I was a newbie, I had thought about what was the motivation behind the members answering questions without payment. Later on, I said it's because of the signature campaign of the forum. But then, I saw some users who were not on signature campaign but were still posting in the forum. Just like JayJuanJay or so and others. I then discovered that it is just the passion and love for Bitcoin that made many people remain here and consistent. I think Satoshi planted something here, and we are all Satoshis.
434  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: January 24, 2024, 12:29:29 PM
Although the network is still congested but not as crazy as it was. Instead of LN, I have these suggestions;
  • Bi-weekly payment
  • Deduction of $1 worth of BTC from all participants payment to augment the fee
  • Bestchange sending the transactions with a fairly reasonable but not outrageous fee and we'll wait till it drops.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any good explanation to this dip on: January 23, 2024, 03:20:15 PM
Re: Is there any good explanation to this dip
There many explanations to the bitcoin price dip, but what I cannot guarantee you is whether the explanation is good or not. According to your thread title, you are seeking for a good explanation. Whenever there is an increase or decrease of bitcoin price, it is always associated with news or explanation to why it happened. It is believed that the price cannot just move on its own without a cause.
I have heard that the FTX GBTC liquidation is the reason behind the price dump as noted by Oshosondy;
I have also heard that because traders made so much profits during the pre ETF approval rumours and they have to sell. I do not believe such rumour that much because I think that many people were holding for the possible bill run.
I just know that there's definitely a manipulation to allow people who took profits to re-enter the market at a discounted price. I am not happy that as big as bitcoin, despite its market cap and price, it is still manipulatable. This is not a good thing for the king and the cryptocurrency market at large

I just pray that the arrival of the institutional traders on a legal form should somewhat bring stability in the market but it seems that the reverse would actually be the case because the signs from when ETF was approved till now is not actually a good one.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 23, 2024, 02:28:55 PM
This year African Cup of Nations came with alot of surprises. Many people did not expect these surprises and especially seeing the big names in Africa as long as football is concerned crashing out of the group stage of the tournament. Who had expected that the Black Stars will exit from the group match. How about Cameronian team that was humiliated by Senegal. Although, Senegal is the defending champion. The case of the Ivorians is another big case to ponder about. The more these countries realises that Drogba and his teammates are no longer in the Ivory coast team, Samuel Eto and his team mates are no longer incharge of the Cameronian team, there are no likes of Stephen Appiah, Essien and Gyan in the Ghanian team, the better for them. It is high time the country begins to breed another set of patrotic footballers to make them great again. For the case of Nigerian Super Eagles, I don't know what to say. They have not been performing excellently and their strikers not scoring goals but yet they have qualified from the group match. Let's see how their next matches will be.

iam not believe ivory coast with good player good team with much play in europe.
lost from Equatorial Guinea 4-0.
and should be eliminated from the african afcon cup.
Obviously, Drogba was as mad as Samuel Eto or even more mad than Eto. It was a huge disgrace to Ivory coast that a country which could be considered as a non football nation humiliated them in their father land right in front of their home fans (mothers and fathers). Will there ever be next time?
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Look out for a good Altcoin and buy now! on: January 23, 2024, 02:10:37 PM
Since Bitcoin ETFs have been approved the next big thing would be Ethereum ETF. The chances of it getting approved are high now and that is the reason it has been pumping after the news. It has already pumped more the 9% and the best bet in the current market is to invest in risk-free Ethereum. I have not seen any major push in the price of Bitcoin as anticipated earlier after the approval by the SEC. But, all major altcoins are doing very well today and most of them are pumping hard.
That is the irony of the market. Many have thought that bitcoin price will pump and after the ETF approval, but the reverse has been the case . This will however ease the expectations of the people about Ethereum ETF approval because it can still take the steps of the bitcoin ETF. I can confidently confirm that the ETF has no positive effects on bitcoin, even if the bitcoin prices rises tomorrow, there will be no confirmation that it is because of the ETF that pushed the price upwards, besides there's bitcoin bull run that is upcoming, it could take the glory even if another moves the market.

yes the ETF was approved and after that the price of bitcoin rose drastically, but recently the price of bitcoin has actually decreased. Always be careful with your investments because after there is a peak there will most likely be a cliff. All the altcoins you say are popular altcoins and worth investing in (for me Doge is not included), but you also have to do an analysis to determine the best time to buy.

Despite of the success Dogecoin has and how it's value significantly increased, not to mention the hype around it, but not including it on the list of the altcoins where you put your money is considered a good decision. I wouldn't want to risk my money in something that would vanish anytime now in an instant. Being a coin that has no real use cases is such a big no no for me. I'd rather have bitcoin purchases in small fractions via DCA, that way I have higher assurance of profit.
Please remain with your idea of buying bitcoin with DCA, buy as much as you can even now that the bitcoin price has reduced. The last time I made a mistake to buy another coin apart from bitcoin, I am still suffering it now. For the case of dodge coin, I think the time of dodge is up since there are so many other promising meme coins like Pepe, bonk and others. Anyone investing in doge should ensure that Elon Musk has not left the coin.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? on: January 23, 2024, 01:48:50 PM
Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? Anyone could suggest me if it is solid or scam project?

I don't know how people staked over 40 Million PIE tokens on this very new platform.

Please share your honest suggestion, i already have faced alot in new projects on BSC chain.

https://applepies.co
  • 10% monthly is still fearful to embark. Maybe 10% monthly is the standard
  • Don't be decieved by the number of pie token staked in any platform. That was how early bitcoin owners lost all their BTC
  • When it is so good to be true, maybe consider to run
  • If I have a genuine business model that guarantees 10% daily, I'll just go take loan and become suddenly wealthy

If you think it's something too good to be true, then probably it is. It's kind of fishy how a platform or project could give you a ten percent daily reward. Please don't get trapped in this kind of Ponzy scheme, because even in the crypto space, where you can get rich in one night, this offer seems to make no sense. However, please read carefully the whitepaper and always be diligent; don't get sorry just because you follow a wrong suggestion from other people. You have to decide it for yourself to get a satisfying result.
There are many characteristics of Ponzi scheme in OP. At first they will make you stake your coins, such that there will be more deposit than withdrawal in order to make such system going.
Secondly, they will have a referral system that will keep bringing new people (the potential victims), and keep rewarding older members.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: January 23, 2024, 01:30:53 PM

My Poll question is quite simple how do we develop in 2024, explosively upwards perhaps, a more sedate incline like this year, flat or is it all negative from this high point; a repeat of 2021 high tide mark going into 2024 is of course possible.

Seeing 19k in your poll and the possibility of 2021 decline happening gives a reassurance that anything is possible in the cryptocurrency market. I was so baised when I thought that after ETF approval, everything will be greenish untill the bull run. But just see the reality that things are falling apart already in the market. It seems that we need to prepare for the worse this that the market is bleeding, it might continue in this downward trend for a longer time thereby pulling everyone from the bullish to the bearish phase

For the most part we are right that bitcoin is a risky currency as I believe that after bitcoin Halves when the market is going down it will definitely go higher. A good opportunity for investors to hold bitcoin is if the currency's value falls. Bitcoin is acting as a growth tool in the crypto market and we will see a huge pump of bitcoin in the future.
Realising that bitcoin is a risky currency as you said is one of the safest things that everyone should know. No matter promise of good return in the future, you could also be ruined on the short run if you do not make decent calculations on your Bitcoin holdings. I think I have make some terrible mistakes about my buying and selling .
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 22, 2024, 11:30:54 AM
Bitcoin halving is only 88 days away, after 88 days Bitcoin halving will start. During this halving period Bitcoin price will be in a downward trend as investors will be given ample opportunity to purchase Bitcoin. No one misses this opportunity because no investor can exist without investing till now. So there is enough time to invest in bitcoins you invest in bitcoins fast and get benefits.
Anything can happen during this period, but the general mood of users is now positive and many are now in the mode of accumulating their balances. Now selling your Bitcoins is clearly not the best idea, but reconsidering your portfolio with altcoins is a very good idea in order to free up more funds for buying Bitcoin. This spring we will find out whether our tactics were correct and how many other people did the same. There really isn't that long to wait.

There's nothing that is very static in the cryptocurrency market. There's no rigid law that states that during the halving period, that bitcoin price will be on a steady decline and also there's no assurance that the price will be on a steady upward trend. The most important thing is doing your own research and maybe believing your strategy of investment and also being willing to accept the consequences of your decisions. There's actually no guarantee and to the next move of bitcoin. This is the reason why the fundamental law of bitcoin investment shouldn't be neglected. Many have argued that the law of investing whatever you are able to lose is somewhat outdated because bitcoin is fast becoming a mainstream in the financial industry. They could be right in their opinions, but for the fact that bitcoin is still a volatile assets, it therefore means that the price of it is liable to move in either directions of the market.

From the past experience of halving, it has been noted that the re-occuring process has been a little bull run during the halving, but some months after the halving would be the major bull run. So, it will be nice that we expect the major bitcoin bull run in 2025 and not this year.
