421  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any new dice websites? on: April 29, 2015, 07:37:48 AM
many users here suggested dadice for investment options and i see many positive comments for that site you can try it...
Investing in dice sites has actually been a no gain game for anyone who cares about the final fiat value . Dice sites do offer good returns over the long term, but the risks are high and are usually not worth investing into .
Dadice is a failrly new site, not that I doubt it , but would be best to actually invest in something which has been running for a much longer time.

asian server online (in tokyo)

Well, I located in HK and get a very high network delays in Asian server... But this game is quiet interesting. I'll try another server.

oh. ok. I'm collecting this data from users and will move servers or create new ones if nessesary.
I was testing it again today , I also get a few delays while playing it.
Also I got the same problem of going out of the walls , that I reported in the starting of the month .

423  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: April 28, 2015, 07:26:49 PM
Wow, that is really sad to hear . Did Micon also get the news just today about it ? Would like to hear how he feels. Kind of disappointing news, Looks like it will somehow cause more developers and site owners to stay anonymous, which could mean more scams happening under bitcoin.

There is also the possibility that if he goes back, even if there is a lack of evidence that he was operating the original Seals site (which is known to have existed before he purchased his first Bitcoin in June 2011), that they might charge him with a second offense of operating the current SwCPoker site.  Would they be that unfair?

I doubt it, as he wasn't running or started the site on US soil. But if he happens to go back with the site still active and gets involved in the operation, I think he will have to go to court for it.
424  Economy / Services / Re: [INT. CALLS] [Untraceable] [For Sale, Program/Site] Chiliphone on: April 28, 2015, 04:10:27 PM
haha chilliphone wont be able to sell thanks to this competitor that just showed up.  maybe he should let someone run it and he is a silent partner.  That is the best way he might get money for his site.
True, however I am not really sure if that would be a big problem for Chiliphone. Since its already established, a buyer for that can easily make it coexist with any new service thats comes up in the bitcoin ecosystem .
The original Ann thread doesn't have a lot of posts either, so maybe there isn't a big market for it then. However I would expect a big market for anonymous calling, so not sure why it is so.
425  Economy / Services / Re: [INT. CALLS] [Untraceable] [For Sale, Program/Site] Chiliphone on: April 28, 2015, 10:13:29 AM

I plan to offer a similar "payphone" functionality in BitPhone, but I've taken WebRTC to the next level and built a Secure WebRTC Portal which you can create.  A portal is really just a unique Url that you can share with others, when they goto the same link the portal becomes a pure, encrypted, peer-peer connection between the users in the portal.  You can share video, audio, files, screenshare and chat all through this private portal.  This is similar to other services that offer "web-conferencing" but all based on Bitcoin and using WebRTC (your browser) to do everything.  You won't need to install any software (maybe a browser extension) to make all this work!

Gavin

Sounds nice , looking forward to it. Also like Chiliphone, calls made through Bitphone will be untraceable correct ?
Also , let us know if there is an ANN thread for it.
426  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinElectronics - Locked Service Announcement Thread on: April 25, 2015, 08:02:56 PM
I was checking out the service announcements sub-forum and came across this thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=995695.0
which is currently locked by the owner. He usually bumps the thread every 24 hours, and locks it. I feel he is avoiding an escrow for any kind of trading while doing so and has locked it to avoid any posts by consumers or people who want to use an escrow to go ahead for a trade. Should threads like these be allowed to be locked to avoid any posts on the thread ? I feel a self-moderated thread would be better suited than locking the thread.

Why someone should be obliged to 'don't lock his thread'? If someone want to use the escrow and that user (seller) does not agree  .... in that case I will not suggest the 'possible buyer' to continue the deal.

However I do not think it is against the forum rules 'lock the own thread'.
I know its not against the forum rules, what I meant was that bitcoin ecosystem is prone to a lot of scams and one way someone can be extra careful while trading or buying something is through the use of an escrow. Allowing them to lock or delete posts will make people prone to falling for a scam , so I was just wondering if some kind of rule can be enforced to not have all these business or selling related threads be locked. There is actually no reason to have the thread to be locked except for the fact to refuse an escrow when someone posts about it. And since the thread is not self-moderated, I really don't see the use of locking the thread except for it being a potential scam.

428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to exchange BTC to Amazon Gift card on localbitcoins? on: April 23, 2015, 05:17:52 PM
Is there a chargeback after a particular time has passed ? Since that guy is sending the amazon gift codes at bitstamp, he might just be legit. I don't think he will chargeback, as he probably would have bought a lot of gift cards before, and can't really complain stolen card about an year later, saying that all the amazon cards bought within the last 1 year were not under his notice.

But if you want to just buy an amazon card, just go for Purse.io .
429  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Seller} Sell eGift StarBuck 15% Bulk on: April 22, 2015, 07:52:57 PM
So 15% would mean that I could buy a 100$ card for 15$, if so I am interested in purchasing one.

Perhaps you should know that these will be carded, and there might be a possibility of having to face embarrasement, when the card is rejected at the store saying that it was carded.
430  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Do miners pay TAX over their earnings?? on: April 22, 2015, 07:46:47 PM
I don't really think many Miners do pay taxes. The current income mining generates is anyway very low, and many people simply avoid the taxes, apart from a few people.
The big mining companies, must be paying it due to obvious reasons , but at a personal level I very much doubt it. Even the daily bitcoin user, has only a small percentage who report taxes on money earned .
431  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Warships in Yemen. Why? on: April 22, 2015, 07:39:48 PM
So much hate for America everywhere.

BTW have they rescued the US citizens who got stuck in Yemen?
Last I read, they didn't and requested other nations like India and Russia to help with the evacuations, and also requested their own citizens to contact the embassies of these countries. I am surprised they have the money to get warships in the area but not money to get their own people out of the country.

The real intention of the US warships might be to protect the crude oil shipments which are passing through the strait of Bab el-Mandeb. Around 4 million barrels of crude oil are transported through that strait every day.

Very much a possibility, I heard that Saudi wanted control, so that their import/export shipments do not get blocked as they come through that area.
432  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slow Profit Sports Betting System on: April 22, 2015, 03:26:39 PM
System bet #2:  Colon v Atletico Rafaela - at 3.00 odds betting .06 to make back the unit.

Side bet on the under 2.5 goals at 1.5 .10 to win .05 to cover the loss of first bet. Based on my system this game has a probability of 72% to go under.

So, red card 68th minute at 1-0. Rafaela scores a goal to even it at 1-1 and of course a man down they allow a 2nd goal in the 87th minute to screw me haha. Love gambling.

System bet #3: Marlins -1.5 over Philadelphia Phillies tonight.

This is what I meant. The Bet seems to have lost as the game ended at 3-7 with Marlins losing. You will now go on to the 4th bet, after which you will only be able to bet 1 more match. I know that you are claiming to be successful using martingale, but it isn't something you should be doing without posting any slips, as probably you will have some one following you, and them losing their bankroll on it.
433  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slow Profit Sports Betting System on: April 21, 2015, 08:23:20 PM
System bet #3: Mazeikiai v Lietkabelis - Lietkabelis ML 1.90.

I don't think martingale is going to work out in the long term. You have already had 2 or losses. Getting to 5 can happen anytime soon.

Also it seems this tip ended up being a tie as before the overtime as both teams scored 79-79 in the 4 quarters, and luckily Lietkabelis managed to win it in the over time with 1 point lead.

It was a tie but in basketball, overtime counts. The bet was graded as a win.

Yeah ,I just meant that it was the 3rd bet in the martingale streak and only won by 1 point luckily, and required one or 2 more martingale losses more to bust the bank roll. So Martingale isn't really going to get you anywhere in the long run, be it dice or Sports betting.

435  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: LocalBitCoin Alternative on: April 21, 2015, 05:11:45 PM
There are already existing alternatives. Just saw the big wide ad on bitcointalk itself for Bitquick, with the caption " Number one alternative to localbitcoins" . Not really sure what kind of response are they receiving. But its always hard to get people go for another exchange, than something they are used to.
436  Economy / Securities / Re: is there any chance to find investor for p2p gambling project ? on: April 21, 2015, 05:09:02 PM
I don't think people who have asked for investments before showing up anything have had much success. A better thing might be get an html designer on board, and design the site together, or hire and risk your own amount just to have the site setup. After that you can approach investors or rather go for crowd funding, and have the site developed and bankrolled.
437  Economy / Services / Re: [INT. CALLS] [Untraceable] [For Sale, Program/Site] Chiliphone on: April 20, 2015, 07:41:49 PM
Thats sad to hear. Also, Always best to clear the deposits and refund people who deposited after they disabled services without any announcements on the site. I had a 1 chip deposit too Wink . Not that I care for 1 chip, but if a lot of people deposited during those days, it might sum up to a big volume.

As for advertising, I really didn't see any, except for this and one another forum post. I still think its like Skype/Google voice and is perfect as an anonymous option for making calls. Maybe the owner can try again with proper advertising.

The Owner/Developer said that he refunded the deposits back to the sending addresses, he told me to direct people from me to him in the case there was a problem. Also, he simply does not have the time to advertise and try again. As I said myself, it would be best if chiliphone were added to an already active site with a high BTC user traffic in order for it to gain more use. That is why it is best for him to sell it, so others can get better use of it.

Not the best thing to do , considering people would send through other sites rather than their own wallets as the anonymity is a big factor. However, I checked the addresses in the sending side, and none of them got the amount back.

439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chargeback in Bitcoin, good or bad? on: April 20, 2015, 05:43:43 PM
I don't think not having chargebacks that a stares away a lot of people from bitcoin. Digital goods will also have some kind of a problem on bitcoin chargebacks, just like Paypal limits it. For people who wish to trade can always be extra careful , or only trade using an escrow. Chargeback is usually initiated in cases mostly involving a scam. With bitcoin that can always be limited using an escrow as currently Paypal escrows are not possible.
440  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: April 20, 2015, 05:39:49 PM
I had that error as well. It was a on a soccer game, that it showed that message. Is there a way to know if a particula game is a special bet or something ?

Do you remember what type of bet was it ?

Generally, if the game has a Match Odds or Moneyline bet, you will be able to add any one of its bets to a Toto ~ Parlay.

I don't remember the game, as I made a few bets on other games after it. But it has happened once in the past as well. So next time I see it, I will let you know the game.
