421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 09:58:55 AM
I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.
I have not had this type of experience and sincerely may not know how exactly to profer solution that may be proven effective to your resolving your problem , however I am I'll ask you use that same energy that you simply find ease with in quitting when you are making wins and liken it to the same as when you're losing. In other words, you can balance both sides using the winning mentality that makes you to easily quit when win to also apply it to when losing. Whatever you tell yourself when winning also use it to when losing and it will be helpful.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: January 27, 2024, 10:52:55 PM
Newbies when it comes to trading you have to work on discovering yourself and not to basically depend on a  third-party or trading signals before you can execute a trade. You can rely on signals from those you view as professionals and still would not make profits and the reason for this isn't far fetched from the truth. It is because since it's not your analytics you have no comprehension to build confidence on the basis to why the signal request you to either sell or buy which makes any little falllback, retreat or retracements of the market in the process of your trading causes you a cold feet and extreme fright.

So the earlier every newbie interested trader understands that the period  he/she could use to seriously learn how to trade no matter how short the period could be in acquiring the right ideas/knowledge about trading to make you selfreliance, you'll be exhuming yourself from days to years of reliance on signals that not even have the potent to making you profit compared to that which comes  directly out of your own self-made analytical work.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 27, 2024, 08:56:22 PM
However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.
For a gambler that naturally he/she has anger issues it is very easy to find such a gambler transfer aggression uncontrollably towards their partner or people around them. The emotional pain of losing their money coupled with a naturally innate anger issues there's nothing hard for such a loser addictive gambler from transferring his aggression on every little matters and before you know it someone is suffering an abuse from them. Though incidents of domestic violence resulting from  gambling addiction is very limited yet it doesn't mean it doesn't happen somewhere in the world .

425  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 27, 2024, 06:45:46 PM
It was exist since few years ago, better to check CMC to buy it.

There was a new Covid sub variant found, but I don't think we will see lockdown like the last 4 years.[/url]

Let's take my country for example, the price of toilet paper will be around 0.3$  which makes it as worthless in value as anything you can think about.
Different country will have different needs.

Maybe toilet paper in your country is worthless due to low demand, but it's different in US and EU.
Now am getting a clarity of some sense in what op is say reading your comment @Helena Yu, it's about the variant in the countries and the countrymen but I wonder how many times a day they use toilet roll just for toileting that the demand should make it lead to scarcity or don't you think it's some manipulated artificial scarcity by the marketers to push the price high. Where I come from a lot of people prefer to use water to wash their ass more than they will do with toilet roll so nothing special about it over here.

427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 26, 2024, 08:45:55 PM
Why is Pochettino not starting Broja in this game against Aston villa tonight, in the absence of Nicolas Jackson it was supposed to be an opportunity to consistently make Broja have a  playing time as to boost his confidence on pitch as a striker but what am seeing is a conversion of sterling into the striker position in tonight's game. What is Pochi up to tonight, Chelsea need goals to win this game and a true striker is what is needed to put fear in Villa's goal yard box and at least with palmer the pressure will be well felt.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silly and scary questions, and what would you do if that were you. on: January 25, 2024, 05:52:27 PM
One thing that bitcoiners needs to know is "keep your source of income a secret and private matter", something that should be to yourself alone, let people see that you are not poor, you're making income somehow but don't don't how or where it's coming from. That's how a bitcoiner ought to live.

Kidnappers have two options in mind, either to get what they want  or kill you if you're preventing them from getting what they want. So in that situation giving out your seed phrase is what should be the best reasonable thing to do. It's when there's life that there will be hope to make money. The motivation should be that, if you can make that amount then you can also make more of that if you're alive.
429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unnecessarily quoting by members of the forum. on: January 24, 2024, 08:47:02 PM
To me I just thought op you would at least cover or blank the usernames of those persons you used as example in the image of your op. I don't know how they will feel seeing their username there clearly bare but for me I will feel bad reason been that am ain't the only one in the forum that have done that pattern of quoting, a thousand of posters have done that and come to think of it am not sure it's against forum rules either. Nevertheless, moving forward it will be great to have users both newbies and old users learn to be specific in their quoting where necessary.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education and why it should be a priority. on: January 24, 2024, 08:23:37 PM
Financially literate people as Op calls them, they are mostly tagged as stingy people by others all because out of their financial literacy they have cultured themselves not to spend extravagantly and lavishly but rather scrupulous and  accounting with every expense to be made.
Something I have learnt in my life growing up is that the poor are the ones that spend extravagantly without plans, you see the rich they have set budget's to every expenditure ahead and this makes them not to spend wastefully and that's why they continue maintaining the status they hold in the society. Even if you're poor learn to have a rich man's mentality your thinking will be affected positively by that.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Passion for skills. on: January 24, 2024, 06:33:26 PM
Back then in the 60's to the 90's so much priority was given to university degree holders in gaining jobs faster than just been only a skilled owned person but gone are those days, now with the new trend of the society your skill set to deliver on the job is now given so much priority than just been a degree holder from the university. Now the practical in all field's  is what is put ahead of theory, so it's always advisable to have a skill attached to yourself it's a double value to anyone having a university degree and as a  skilled man too.
432  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can naira earners keep up with their BTC pursuit. on: January 23, 2024, 08:25:47 PM
It really dey say for person to start to invest in bitcoin using the DCA strategy him suppose get one or more reliable sources of making money but just base on how country hard reach if na just one source of income the person get him gat to manage him pocket well make him no go invest all him money come the stay for hunger. If for example say you been the DCA with $10 monthly as tins don come tough like this nah just for you to cut your coat according to the available material by reducing the DCA monthly to $5 than to put yourself for hard corner the still stick on the initial $10 you started with. DCA nonmran say your amount of money must be static amount every time.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transparent dices ? on: January 23, 2024, 06:21:05 PM
If you were invited to a casino to play dices or if you visited a new casino in your town and realized they do not have transparent dices, would you feel like playing there and gamble your money anyways, or would you avoid it?
It is for reasons as this that reputation regarding casino's operation can't be overemphasized, if you are using a casino that have earned a great reputation over the years you will be rest assured that they won't want to do any thing silly to rub their repute in the mud as there is regulatory policies that are bound to abide by. So be it transparent or black and white dice it won't matter provided you're playing with a well reputed casino.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Rebound This Week on: January 23, 2024, 05:38:24 PM
The substantial open interest across these platforms suggests significant market activity. So will Bitcoin rebound this week?
This week, next week, or upper week I don't see bitcoin rebounding even though it's possible but with the market conditions and the news we might be having more fall in price as the days go by. There will be a rebound though but not so soon, why not take the opportunity to buy more bitcoin to your portfolio ahead of the halving in mid this year and the bullrun by the year 2025. Let your aim be a long time range
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 22, 2024, 07:49:45 PM
I feel good to see AFCON thread here.
However, the Nigerian team are doing their best to make sure that they win this match but by now they should have scored up to 2 goals, with the kind of odds that they have and their squad they should have been on a 2 to 3 goals by now but it seems that the home team are given Nigerian FC a very hard time already..
Although the decoy half is just beginning and maybe there will be another home goal or a kick from one of the Nigerian players.
The match has eventually ended and i feel disappointed at the result of the game 1:0 and it was an own goal.  Nigeria possessed the game had 12 shorts on target but  failed to convert to goals many of those  chances they had, with attackers commiting themselves to many offsides leading to their 2 goals being denied as a result.

It's sad to see that the hosting team Ivory coast has failed to qualify in their group haven lost shamefully to Guinea Bissau 4 goals to nil and ivory coast couldn't reply back with even just a single goal despite they been the favourite in that game tonight. Football never stop surprising us.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 21, 2024, 02:27:17 PM
After Leverkusen gets dramatic win from Leipzig today it's Bayern Munich turn to pursuing them and Bremen will being an Bayern Munich opponent and Bayern Munich should be careful because Bremen can gets 3 draw streak in Bundesliga so they have to focus for this match because if Bayern Munich unable to win then their chances to keep up Leverkusen will be more difficult but just like i said before Bayern Munich at home was very strong and they often to win with big scores

Regarding team condition Bremen will lost at least 2 players who got suspension because card accumulation and they are Marvin Ducksch and Leonardo Bittencourt but playing without Ducksch is really big lost for Bremen because he is Bremen top scorer and for Bayern Munich as usual they still rely on Harry Kane for their front lines and my prediction is he will be able to scores again today and about bet option the bookmakers was provide low odds for Bayern Munich @1.10 but i am not surprising because they are always being an the favourite for each matches in Bundesliga but i expect Bayern Munich can win with big scores
The win of Bayern Leverkusen alone yesterday should be a motivation for Bayern Munich to win in their game against Werder Bremen today because they wouldn't want to drop a point away from Bayern Leverkusen who have strongly maintain their leading form on the Bundesliga table with an unbeaten record till date.
Werder Bremen has in their last three games drawn 2 and lost 1 which is why I am predicting over 2.5 in this game based on Bayern Munich home advantage all they need is this game is nothing short of a win.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: January 21, 2024, 02:03:25 PM
I made a very wrong decision on a game I staked today and this is unlike me because I don't normally check on my games until its settled because sometimes you will tempted with some crazy things like cash-out which is what I did today and although you won't blame me to some extent but still if I was patient enough as the final results if the games came through and Instead of winning the whole money, I got only a fraction of the funds.
I wouldn't tag it a bad or wrong decision; let's assume the game didn't eventually played at the end in accordance to your prediction would you have still called it a wrong decision or not. We are just trying out luck and we are not in control of what the end result might be as we gamble, so let's be satisfied and accept whatever happens after our decisions regarding our bets. Some persons lost the whole bet, in your own case you got a fraction so be grateful and don't think it to be a wrong decision or better still next time take a stand of not cash out and stick to it.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market on: January 21, 2024, 09:44:32 AM
(2) you must learn how to be patient: without patience it's nearly impossible to be successful in the crypto market, that is one of the virtue required in the craft.

Acquiring the knowledge and applying it in your trading with a proper risk management strategy in addition to having patient with your trade can be a strong weapon against the market psychology which can be deceptive to new traders that  may have acquired the knowledge quite well but lacking patient with their trades, that at the event of unpleasant move of the market  against their trade they get too quick to take profit instead of being patient with their trade for the greater success of it that lies ahead with time. Some even out of fear exit the trade with a loss.

Patience is indeed needed in this market because it is not an overnight task to learn things.
Those tips and strategies can be learned throughout the years of your experience.
And do remember, each project is unique, thus, it is quite difficult to apply your learnings. You still need to assess every situation.
Quite well, we need patience to be able to take up assessment in all situations and, this patient is not something we learn from books and articles it's something we conscious have to teach ourself, for with patient more experience is gathered based on what the outcome of our patients from not hasting to take a exit resulted in.
439  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 21, 2024, 05:33:53 AM
For your ex girlfriend to have access to your gambling account login details then she must possibly have access too to verification request details and could have completed the process for the account closure without you knowing. I mean  both guess is possible following your explanation. If I were you and knowing about what my ex had done, upon receiving a message to wait for the 30 days intervals as given by the casino I would have just done so not to go against their ToS. Or maybe you're one of those gamblers that can't go a day without gambling which would have been the reason why your ex girlfriend took the action without your notice.
