421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do low fees matter most in choosing crypto platforms, or other factors? on: January 30, 2024, 01:35:59 PM
When choosing a cryptocurrency platform, do you prioritize seeking out those with lower transaction fees, or do other factors such as security, user interface, or available features take precedence in your decision-making? Share your perspective below and let's discuss the key considerations within our community!
Who wouldn't be interested in crypto platforms with low transaction fees? No one exactly. But when looking for a low transaction fees platform we should also priotize security and the reputation of the platform first before all else, don't just for low fees duck your coins into the wrong platform that can lead to a loss maybe due to scan or collapse of the system. After the two latter I talked about has been considered other things are just a plause factors based on user's need.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Draw betting strategy on: January 29, 2024, 09:42:02 PM
Draws are not easy to surface in matches as it's difficulty to happen is what makes the bookies to regularly provide a high and attractive odd size to draws option in  all matches. What I think about draws is that since they are very difficult to make out it will be nice and safer to  make single bets on it then multiple or accumulative bet which will quite make your chance more blurry. In all the tips to a draw outcome in a match as listed by op I can only agree with him about the aspect of history between a two team. In football a history has the tendency of repeating itself more often then not.

Now it's time to learn hard way If you don't understood markets you better not even spend money to buy home without learning first how the finances and market works.

Of course only a very rich man would spend his money blindly on something. When investing whether in crypto, stocks, luxury products or real estate you always have to be aware of the current market situation. Even some investments that are relatively stable still have their best and worst times so as an investor, you are going to want to get maximum profit.

Make sure that you are coming in to the market the right time and also check if you are financially ready to be investing
Even the rich also cry, you can't be so rich that you can't lose it all if you go on to continually make wrong investment decisions, it is not an issue of rich or poor as an investor just don't invest blindly, do your underground study about the asset you which to invest in because that's what makes you an investor and not a gambler who has to go all in wishing for luck to take it course. If you have the money to go into any business investment but have no prior knowledge it is wise you seek professional expertise support and guidance than taking risk blindly because you have the money.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: The savings problem on: January 29, 2024, 08:59:39 PM
It's very easy to spend money we earned than saving them because we cannot be completely done with budget needs, however, there are wants and needs from our budget plans, we must also administer the way to properly manage our asset in other not to waste them on what are not going to be profitable on us, another thing is to help the source to our income by making efforts on additional source in other to have alternative or backup, so that the income will be sufficient enough for both savings and expenses.
Theres a truth some many of us today are yet to come to reality with, which is, this world is not going to get any better than it were yesteryears not minding the economic plans and strategies governments of the world may want to sell to us. People always talk about multiple streams of income and am not excluded in that group that always clamour for multiple streams of income making but in actuality it's also difficult to have a multiple source of income as the capital to building this sources are not available. In some societies a large number of people are battling just to have a three square meal for the day just for daily survival and you will wonder where are we really heading to.
425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The lessons I've learnt as a bitcoin long term holder on: January 29, 2024, 07:40:59 PM
Following the price of Bitcoin will not make you rich, and if you are a trader, you can automate a bot to execute orders while you continue your normal life. do not consider trading a full-time job, but rather something additional to increase your investments.
There are people that are full the me traders and are making substantial profits from it even without having other sources of income   but that doesn't mean this may work fine for every person that chose to go full time trading. To be with different sources of income additional to trading the advantage in there is that you wouldn't have to excessively trade which could cause you to make frequent losses in your quest to make money to solve a pressing need.

Telling your friends about your salary and income rate is a bad thing, let alone your future investment.
Trust no one should be a motto we should hold strongly in mind as people that are into this industry and even in other areas of money matters. Staying on low key can prevent you from a number of troubles you can't tell.

427  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger don dump ECOWAS. on: January 29, 2024, 05:07:18 PM

Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have collectively decided to exit the West African Economic Community (ECOWAS).
This  action by the three West African countries no go dey unconnected to the incessant pressure from the west African bloc ECOWAS and in extension AU wey the put pressure on military  government's of these countries say make them return back to civil rule as the military junta dey currently oversee and dey rule their respective country under military rule talk on say the civil government wey been the rule the height of corruption been done too much to the neck sef.

429  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: January 28, 2024, 10:17:32 PM
Op I won't count these as strategies but criteria to watch out for when making your bets in football games it's actually things to use to buttress your strategy. I can be very sure that not all of the time that these criteria works, teams that are escaping relegation are the most dangerous team to play against in football so most times when big teams at the top are playing against a relegation zone team the chances of the big team winning is 20% with an 80% chances of a draw.
Which ever pattern or strategy or whatever we call it that's working for us, I'll say goodluck of longevity for you to that.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 28, 2024, 09:52:03 PM
Just setting up to watch Egypt vs Congo in the AFCON. Kick off in just over an hour. As a Liverpool fan, I really should want Egypt to get knocked out so Salah doesn’t try to rush to recover from injury and get back to AFCON.

I can’t help wanting Egypt to win though, I want Mo to be happy so yeah, come on Egypt.
That is another interesting much that many people are looking up to the outcome tonight. Just like expected, Egypt is not finding it easy with DR Congo who first scored them before Mohamed Mostafa equalized through penalty.

There is huge expectations from the Liverpool key player, Mo Salah and I hope he lived up to expectations tonight as Amy mistake will send them home. This edition of the AFCON tournament has proven to be unique in the sense that there is no known big team whose matches can be easily predicted.  The surprises unfolding per match are mind boggling.
The surprises are so terrific as we never saw it coming in this way that the AFCON competition will be so hard to predict a particular team to win in each game. Previous AFCON competition's a game like Egypt playing against Dr Congo many bettors would have confidently given Egypt a straight win but in this current AFCON the surprises are so shocking that you don't know Which team to depend on strongly.
Am fascinated about this Egypt vs Dr Congo match as both teams are playing on equal strength no domination, even individual players like Sallah isn't given that chance of creating too much impact. I am believing that the game is unavoidably heading to an extra half and if it ends in penalty shoot out Congo will win.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: January 28, 2024, 07:53:10 PM
So the earlier every newbie interested trader understands that the period  he/she could use to seriously learn how to trade no matter how short the period could be in acquiring the right ideas/knowledge about trading to make you selfreliance, you'll be exhuming yourself from days to years of reliance on signals that not even have the potent to making you profit compared to that which comes  directly out of your own self-made analytical work.
Common mistakes of those newbies in trading are being hyped and excited about the profit they are seeing when they see advertising or influencers that are flexing their earnings from trading. They think it is easy as that without knowing that those influencers or ads don't show the hardship or grey part of trading. Trading has a lot of chances of losing money depending on how competent and skilled you are. Trading is a continuous learning and trial and error. If you can't handle the thought of losing money, then it can't be sure that you can survive in this industry.

There are many posts or topics about advice or reminding new traders of what they should do and not do, but it will not be effective if they don't read those topics. How about those traders who are not familiar with this forum? How can we reach them about this kind of topic so that they can avoid what they are doing wrong in trading?
Ignorance and impatient is a big problem among ñewbie traders, sonout of that ignorance they fancy and fall for these deception from influencers on YouTube and other social network that only advertise about wom trades. They don't bother asking this influencers questions about their lost trades too or is it that they are perfect beings that are immune to losing trades. Secondly, impatient makes newbies to see the learning process as a time wasting when they can just get it from somewhere but they fail to ask what is the authenticity of what am getting because this is money we are risking here and not papers. Even if they are papers papers nowadays have value too
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 09:58:55 AM
I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.
I have not had this type of experience and sincerely may not know how exactly to profer solution that may be proven effective to your resolving your problem , however I am I'll ask you use that same energy that you simply find ease with in quitting when you are making wins and liken it to the same as when you're losing. In other words, you can balance both sides using the winning mentality that makes you to easily quit when win to also apply it to when losing. Whatever you tell yourself when winning also use it to when losing and it will be helpful.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: January 27, 2024, 10:52:55 PM
Newbies when it comes to trading you have to work on discovering yourself and not to basically depend on a  third-party or trading signals before you can execute a trade. You can rely on signals from those you view as professionals and still would not make profits and the reason for this isn't far fetched from the truth. It is because since it's not your analytics you have no comprehension to build confidence on the basis to why the signal request you to either sell or buy which makes any little falllback, retreat or retracements of the market in the process of your trading causes you a cold feet and extreme fright.

434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 27, 2024, 08:56:22 PM
However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.
For a gambler that naturally he/she has anger issues it is very easy to find such a gambler transfer aggression uncontrollably towards their partner or people around them. The emotional pain of losing their money coupled with a naturally innate anger issues there's nothing hard for such a loser addictive gambler from transferring his aggression on every little matters and before you know it someone is suffering an abuse from them. Though incidents of domestic violence resulting from  gambling addiction is very limited yet it doesn't mean it doesn't happen somewhere in the world .

436  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 27, 2024, 06:45:46 PM
It was exist since few years ago, better to check CMC to buy it.

There was a new Covid sub variant found, but I don't think we will see lockdown like the last 4 years.[/url]

Let's take my country for example, the price of toilet paper will be around 0.3$  which makes it as worthless in value as anything you can think about.
Different country will have different needs.

Maybe toilet paper in your country is worthless due to low demand, but it's different in US and EU.
Now am getting a clarity of some sense in what op is say reading your comment @Helena Yu, it's about the variant in the countries and the countrymen but I wonder how many times a day they use toilet roll just for toileting that the demand should make it lead to scarcity or don't you think it's some manipulated artificial scarcity by the marketers to push the price high. Where I come from a lot of people prefer to use water to wash their ass more than they will do with toilet roll so nothing special about it over here.

438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 26, 2024, 08:45:55 PM
Why is Pochettino not starting Broja in this game against Aston villa tonight, in the absence of Nicolas Jackson it was supposed to be an opportunity to consistently make Broja have a  playing time as to boost his confidence on pitch as a striker but what am seeing is a conversion of sterling into the striker position in tonight's game. What is Pochi up to tonight, Chelsea need goals to win this game and a true striker is what is needed to put fear in Villa's goal yard box and at least with palmer the pressure will be well felt.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silly and scary questions, and what would you do if that were you. on: January 25, 2024, 05:52:27 PM
One thing that bitcoiners needs to know is "keep your source of income a secret and private matter", something that should be to yourself alone, let people see that you are not poor, you're making income somehow but don't don't how or where it's coming from. That's how a bitcoiner ought to live.

Kidnappers have two options in mind, either to get what they want  or kill you if you're preventing them from getting what they want. So in that situation giving out your seed phrase is what should be the best reasonable thing to do. It's when there's life that there will be hope to make money. The motivation should be that, if you can make that amount then you can also make more of that if you're alive.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unnecessarily quoting by members of the forum. on: January 24, 2024, 08:47:02 PM
To me I just thought op you would at least cover or blank the usernames of those persons you used as example in the image of your op. I don't know how they will feel seeing their username there clearly bare but for me I will feel bad reason been that am ain't the only one in the forum that have done that pattern of quoting, a thousand of posters have done that and come to think of it am not sure it's against forum rules either. Nevertheless, moving forward it will be great to have users both newbies and old users learn to be specific in their quoting where necessary.
