Sorry if I have to say this, you can still learn Bitcoin and become a successful investor even if not from the Bitcointalk forum section. There are still many other forums that you can visit to learn more about Bitcoin, but for me the Bitcointalk forum can get the latest and most credible information regarding Bitcoin.
Choosing a forum to get information related to Bitcoin depends on the comfort of each individual, apart from Bitcointalk there are still forums that discuss Bitcoin such as Cryptocurrency Talk, Stack Exchange, Reddit, Altcointalk and various other forums. Investors cannot do it alone, they need a place to expand their knowledge of Bitcoin and guidance to understand technical analysis.
I don't know how sure this would sound to you but I think from my own point of view anyone who basics knowledge can make it through investment so I believe being an investor on Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is something that anyone can do or be if the person is a lover of making research and I believe you can actually od it on your own do just have the basics and learn by yourself through different articles online even if you are not part of any crypto community and I think the list you made of places to get knowledge some of them I think I can classify them as a crypto community rather more like a search engine😁😁
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 13, 2024, 07:06:43 PM
Gambling should not be for money making. If you have money and you want to make money with the money that you have, go for something else which is not gambling. Also do not go for trading.

Go for gambling to have fun and entertain yourself with the games while using small amount of money to bet.

The mistake I made in the past was that I used all the money I was earning to gamble. But now that I have just little amount as my gambling budget, I gamble responsibly.
That's basically the simple understanding to this and it's rather odd to see the huge amount of gamblers that failed to heed to this advice, people just feel that they can actually make do with gambling by actually forcing or feeling that winning day and so particular pump the bet with lots of cash and eventually when the results of the game come out and it turns out to be a loss they then start regretting and maybe even try to chase back the actual funds they used in playing the bet.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 06:56:29 PM
Real Madrid are in great form at the moment. After a long time they managed to occupy the top position of the table in La Liga. And the descent is ahead of Girona by points difference. In La Liga now, Madrid is very much pressure free. So now their main target is to perform well in Champions League.

Madrid's opponents, Leipzig, are not in good form. Leipzig's performance in the Bundesliga has been erratic. In the last 5 matches the team won only one match and lost three matches. This is why Real Madrid is considered as the favorite in this match.
In this season Real Madrid is doing good job from the start of this season and their performance in Champions League is impressive with now in La Liga they are clearly ahead of all opponents specially after beating Girona now things are clearly favourable for them while Barcelona is still facing troubles into their defense with in home games they already concede too many goals which are surely terrible for them and their future games as well.

RB Leipzig is also not good which is good advantage for the Real Madrid but still things could be not easy for them while they will visit Germany tonight for their first leg game of the knock-out round, but I am feeling they will be won with good score like 1–3 is my favourite right now.

As good as the Real Madrid team is currently, I don't think a team like Leipzig will be able to stop Madrid's winning streak.

Real Madrid's players have played brilliantly in every match of the group stage. Madrid won all 6 matches. Real Madrid team won by dominating both matches against Napoli. And Ancelotti is very serious in Champions League matches. He will try his best this season to win the Champions League title. My prediction is Real Madrid will win both home and away matches against Leipzig to secure their quarter final ticket.
Leipzig is an average team. Real Madrid is above this in terms of squad quality. Of course, the absence of Bellingham will affect them badly, but still, the remaining players are good and have the quality to take the team to the next round. Of course, Real can advance by winning 2 matches, but even in the worst case scenario, I think they will advance. Even if they lose in this match, they will advance to Spain.
Oh I see! That's the reason why madrid was given that kind of odds because since I saw the odd I was contemplating on why real Madrid that has both the attacking prowlers and all the class and experience playing in the champions league to be given that kind of odds but I guess it's totally understandable now as their star man and I think the power house of the team isn't available so that kinda reduced their chances of winning by a landslide.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contributes to a casual gambler becoming an addicted gambler? on: February 13, 2024, 06:51:41 PM
I was wondering what makes someone transition from a casual gambler to a gambling addict. Here are five reasons I've identified.

  • To find an alternative full-time earning source
  • Chasing Losses
  • Lack of Alternative Income earning opportunities
  • Using Gambling as an Excuse for Personal/Profesional Problems
  • lDream of Winning Big
  • An excuse

If you have anything else then do write it down on this thread. This thread is only to help anyone who is into daily gambling realize the incident that led to compulsive gambling or everyday gambling.

This is a self-moderated thread that means if anyone here wants to vent out his or her frustration then they are welcome.

Let's hear it so that everyone knows.

I basically think all the listed details actually works together, it's more like a stage by stage process and all of them contributes to the gambler being addicted but the most one I think it's more active is the chasing of losses because that particular action can be carried by both the rich and poor gamblers. The more a gambler gets this thought to his head the more closely he gets to becoming a full time addict.

Thanks you.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2024, 07:15:56 PM
It is a big day in the Bundesliga.  Smiley  Because this evening Leverkusen are hosting Bayern Munich at BayArena. As I must have said before this is like the most important game on the road going to the league title. For both sides I mean. Leverkusen are in a really advantageous situation considering their placement in the standings now.

The match is overrated. Of course it is the game between the best two teams of the season, but the outcome of the game will say little about the next Bundesliga champion. If there is a draw, then it will still only be 2 points. Should Leverkusen win, they would be 5 points ahead, which is a nice lead, but not much with 13 games to go. If Bayern win, they would be 1 point clear at the top, which is also minimal. Conclusion: Hopefully an exciting game, but no preliminary decision in the race for the championship.

The match between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen is going on right now. 68 minutes have been played in this match and to my surprise Bayern Munich has not been able to score. Meanwhile, their opponent has been able to score two goals already. The current score is two-zero. It looks like Leverkusen is going to win this match unless something and expected happens in the last 25 minutes of the match. Let's see if Bayern Munich can salvage something from this situation. Right now it seems like if they can somehow avoid a loss it is going to feel like a win for them.

Nothing serious is gonna happen again in that game, beside we both are aware that Bayern Leverkusen is far much better in terms of form and performance than their rivals Bayern Munich. The game is seal from my own end because I don't see Bayern pulling up any strings again so it just left for them to accept the defeat although I know that their is still a whole 25mins to play but am certain that Leverkusen won't slip up a good two nil advantage over a Bayern side they know very well can cause damage to them.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 10, 2024, 01:39:34 PM
So far it has been quite strange to see Manchester City's game where they have not been able to record even a shot on target and can only maintain ball possession up to 81%. I think this first half was just a warm-up and they knew that Everton probably wouldn't be happy to let Manchester City break into their goal. I also see that Julian Alvrez is currently filling in for Kevin De Bruyne so there is less creativity on the field.

I hope that in the second half Pep Guardiola can bring on Kevin De Bruyne so that Manchester City's game can be more lively and of course Erling Haaland needs his assists so he can score goals. Currently Manchester City can't do much and in the second half they will carry out a total attack. I think a 2-0 win for Manchester City is worth looking forward to in this match.
They did not create enough pressure and dangerous attacks in a first half and they will need some changes in tactics and even players to find an opening goal in this match. They have Kevin De Bruyne on bench but also Bernado Silva if I am right. The Portuguese attacking midfielder was not reported by any injury or suspension [1] and Pep can send both attacking players in to refresh his attacking system in the second half.

Everton really want to have point at least one point from this match and they will have to fight against bigger pressure from Manchester City in rest of the match. They will have to play well and need to have luck to prevent Manchester City to have goals in this match.

[1] https://www.sportsgambler.com/injuries/football/england-premier-league/
Man City has still failed to secure a win for the time being, though they played at home and dominated the game. Everton defended quite well and that makes it difficult for Man City to create opportunities. What I see is that Man City looks quite frustrated. If in the second half, Man City can improve their creativity or at least make more frequent shot attempts from outside the penalty box, I think Man City could have had their moment.
What I see is pep guadiola bringing in the master mind @kevin de bruyne, he alone can change the pace of their game play and I doubt if come this second half Manchester city will not score atleast two goals because I know they will come out strong and there will definitely be a goal in the second half of play. Everton from their own end have defended quite well but I doubt they can keep this Manchester city side from actually scoring, I think it's just a matter of time before the goals Starts coming in.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 10, 2024, 12:54:32 PM
So guys how do you see this new intended innovation, is it going to change the face of football across the world, let's have your opinion.
The new innovation will introduce a new tactics for some technical coaches to really exploit. They may cook up a strange strategy different from what these regular gamblers and coaches know. Coaches like Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and others may find ways to make the new addition to the sport favor them. Many things are really changing and developing into something else from what they were, I will not be surprised if the number of players in each team is increased by one player.
Well I will not be surprised at all if that is added to football because the rate at which things is changing is definitely at a high rate and they don't intend stopping anytime soon, well change is constant and it's bound to happen eventually but I just hope that FIFA or whoever those or create the rules doesn't come up with something crazy that will definitely take away the thrills in football because that will definitely have a negative toll on the economic benefits of football to the world.
429  Other / Meta / Re: BCT vs BTT abbreviation for this forum on: February 10, 2024, 12:46:16 PM
Despite everything, every discussion, every poll, every suggestion.....at the end of the day most of us will use BTT, lol (IMO)  Grin

We are just used to it and that's an important reason.
That’s true. I recently came across some articles talking about Bitcointalk, the writers used the abbreviation BCT more than once to refer to the forum. Even on Reddit, I think BCT is a more popular abbreviation for Bitcointalk outside the forum. Which makes me believe it’s just us here who use BTT who refer to the forum especially the accounts who are relatively young.
Yeah that's true, we the forum members here are the ones selling that abbreviation and I don't think the use of it is slowing down anytime soon so no matter the final verdict, it will still take some time before that abbreviation starts ringing a bell in most person thought here in this community. BCT, BTT or BTCT no matter the abbreviation being used it really doesn't have any effect just be rest assured that the communication and understanding is there whenever the is use of it and everything will move on smoothly.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2024, 12:36:53 PM
Since Xavi is going to leave Barcelona soon, there are some coaches linked to this team and there is some news about some coaches and famous people they getting close to working in Barcelona, and maybe they can have the chance to save the team. However, since they don't have a good financial situation they don't have many options. But the weird news about Barcelona is Xabi Alonso is also linked to this team and while he is under contract with Leverkusen and he can't be cheap for Barcelona I don't know who people think Xabi is going to work for Barcelona because he is also a former player of Real Madrid.

https://www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com/en/transfers/controversial-option-barca-could-be-interested-in-xabi-alonso_300693_102.html

If not anything, I think Xabi Alonso is seriously linked to his former club being Liverpool and this rumour has been red hot ever since and I even doubt that Barcelona will be able to close a deal with Xabi Alonso. Alonso so far has done an excellent job at Bayern Leverkusen and if he manages to finish the season with the trophy secured, it would be the epitome of excellence for a coach of his caliber and that would definitely be the exploit point to promising career ahead because it's not an easy job to conquer a league that has been dominated by only two clubs for the last decay .
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: February 09, 2024, 11:15:29 PM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
in gambling we don't have a specific amount that someone supposed to retire with so gambling is all about Game of luck game of opportunity and again a game of success so there is every tendency that you might not win any game before you can retire in gambling because some people just retire in gambling willing without having any lost or any profits they just retired willing why some people retire because of the game the lost or the game they win, especially when you win a good amount of funds through gambling and you are aged that is something that makes some people to retire in order to utilize theirs funds

It's rather unusual for me to think that someone would even reason that they could go out with some fix amount of winning in their gambling career because gambling is not something that is planned for and you can't really tell what will happen in a split second within when you are gambling.

432  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The need to acquire an asset now on: February 09, 2024, 09:01:25 PM
Many people wishes to get an asset when they start making it in life but as soon as such opportunity comes up they begin to live frivolous lifestyle and saying that they are still young as they can still meet up their target anytime without knowing that time flies and an opportunity that one may miss in life can take longer time to get again.

This is basic life principle, and like you said many people fail to see what is beyond, because they are short sited and that's what blinds them. Planning for the future ahead should be every mans dream and everyone do think this but at the moment the funds to process it becomes available their entire thought change within a flash and although the symptom isn't the same for everyone but a large majority of the human population fail under this category.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 08:55:28 PM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?
Don't worry it's normal and I think you are not the only one having same feeling because the feeling cut across series of gamblers and I don't what really causes this feeling but I think it's because of the split second decision we make when we decide to increase the stake. When we gamble with little funds it's different and I think it's because we don't calculate much but when the money decides to go up a notch, emotions and thought play in which I think results the end most of the times to be loss.

435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 08, 2024, 05:15:39 PM
Rich or poor, once they lose, they lose. There's no Math in there. Both will suffer the same result.

- If these rich gamblers aren't able to control spending huge money in gambling, they will face bankruptcy soon.
- If these poor gamblers aren't able to control spending huge money in gambling, they will end up being in a much poorer state.

Who should risk more? That's not how it goes. Should be, be responsible at all times either rich or poor.
I understand the message but I feel the context is more on what and how these two gamblers feel they lose money and believe me when it comes to that, I have seen a heck lots of crazy gamblers that felt no remorse whatsoever even when they lose tons of money and I would also like to throw this question out there which is , if the two gamblers are the same then why is it that it's always advice that gambling is actually meant for the and not the poor person.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 08, 2024, 05:10:54 PM
If you look at Madrid's current performance I think this is a big loss for Leipzig. I think Madrid will be able to at least become finalists this season. City and Madrid are strong candidates to win the Champions League this season. I don't think Leipzig will be able to go any further. It's a shame because they have to meet Madrid in the round of 16. I am not underestimating Leipzig but we know that Madrid is one of the most favored teams this season.
Apart from that, we also remember Real Madrid's experience in the Champions League, which is currently still being coached by Ancelotti, so it could make it difficult for RB Leipzig to win in the last 16 of the Champions League. Because now everyone has seen how Real Madrid's condition is getting better and also often getting good results in important matches this season. So it wouldn't be wrong if in that match Real Madrid was more favored than RB Leipzig who came from the German League.
I obviously don't know what the big blabbing is about because it's too obvious and certain that Leipzig is no match for the attacking powers of real Madrid, I mean this team is filled with a lot of energy and these young men are utmost at their prime and I think it would be one of the football wonders if Leipzig would find a way to remove Real Madrid in the champions league round of 16.

After reading all four pages, the thought arises that the answers were divided into two parts. Some perfectly see how insincere the author of the topic is, why the topic was created, and what the OP wants.
But all those others furiously write truisms, repeated from topic to topic, without at all reading the posts of people who say that he doesn’t need any advice. He has a different goal.
How do these posters differ from the OP? Everyone has only one task; I see that some are either deaf or blind. Grin
I think you forgot to add the ignorant part because I feel some read it but choose not to relate the flaws that is painted plainly and choose to go the other way round. I have seen this on lots of post replies and believe it's also infective because at the time you have come across this countless times it feel you are the one whose actually going off from every other person that replied on the post, but I try my best to see to it that I don't get infected by the virus.

I was kinda expecting Ivory Coast - Nigeria final, isn't that normal? Both teams are the best among others. Nigeria had hard times against South Africa but they advanced through penalties. They should've won the game in regular time. And Ivory Coast, they have Haller, he's not in his prime due to injuries but he scored at the right time. I feel sorry for Masuaku and Muleka. Though Desabre didn't even play him, instead he chose finished player Bakambu and his team failed to score. Poor choices won't get you to finals.
The final will be interesting. I don't have a favorite, I see Nigeria one step ahead but anything is possible. It's only 90 minutes.
And 90mins is all they need to win it, I think Nigeria will be going into this game with a slight advantage knowing fully well that they have once defeated the elephant of ivory coast and if that plays in their head, then it will be cost of their demise at the finals because the ivorian have had to do all their assignment and did well at that because they went back to the drawing board and corrected their selves and came out stronger than before which have successfully earn them a place in the finals.
