Now having interest to invest in this bitcoin I want to invest here. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin?
You're in a Bitcoin forum so obviously, we'd encourage you to invest to Bitcoin. But what type of savings you are saying, your entire savings? If that is so, I'd say that you should only invest what you can afford to lose. Not entirely your savings but just to give you an idea that many people that have invested in Bitcoin have treated their investment as their savings as well.

So, after all the expenses and obligations that you have then it's up to you on how much allocation you'll invest on Bitcoin. Have you ever heard of DCA? That's what you're going to do and every time you have your salary, cut a slice of it that you're going to invest in Bitcoin.

So that it won't compromise your savings, it's a matter of how you manage your money but if it's not enough. The solution is to increase your cash flow and source of income.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

As long as you are able to cope with your life then it does not matter if you eventually want to move your savings to bitcoin because it is still a pretty good situation in the end.But on the other hand in this case we also have to know about risk management and we must realize that the current life that is lived must be prioritized for the long term so think about what you think is best in this case.

It would be great if you could do both because after all there must be spare funds that you have but you if you want to be in bitcoin then indeed have to use funds that will not be used in a certain period of time because in the end, we are talking about a longer-term when investing.
Don't be too hasty in making choices, don't be too aggressive in investing because everything must also be learned considering that when talking about bitcoin then we are definitely talking about risk because this is an inseparable unity so learn more so that you can confidently be in the scope of investment.

Talk about an experience as a newbie about Bitcoin, view Bitcoin as a God, praising Bitcoin over other assets and don't forget to upload big picture to make the thread looks long.
Just one of the common misconceptions around here, that you have to either know it all or praise bitcoin incessantly in order to get merit while in fact all you have to do is to be genuine and ask the right question and you will have no issues ranking up.
Then again, for some that is mission impossible as they only see bitcointalk as a milking cow and have no real interest in bitcoin and everything that it stands for and it shows.

If you are asking if you should invest your savings in bitcoin or not, the majority of people here will tell you to invest them in bitcoin, but I won't just join others in saying that without a proper practical understanding of how those savings are planned to be used.

Are those savings not what you are supposed to use to finance your school expenses if any unforeseen needs arise? If they are meant for your school bills, then I will say it's a bad idea to invest them in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a volatile asset, and you can't predict where the price will be when you want to make use of it. Don't use it because your friends have made a profit from it, and dive into it because your money might not be ready when you need it.

But if the money you have saved over the past is not for your school bills and you are sure you won't need them anytime soon, then it's better for you to invest it in bitcoin than leave it in your bank account, where only a little interest will be added to it, yet inflation will hit it all hard.

Well, you have answered your question yourself, OP, in the picture you attached. From 2019 until this year, you should have gained sufficient experience, information, and great certainty about Bitcoin and its investment, so the question that you asked came too late.

You're the one who determines the investment decision yourself after managing the risks and calculating your personal expenses in your life from your total salary and other expenses that you may be required to pay for your studies. Then, you determine the amount that you can risk from your savings for investment. Putting a portion that you can afford to lose from your savings in Bitcoin is a good decision, just like what the new friends in university did when they discussed together and did this. This is better than leaving your savings idle without benefiting from them in the future.

Some times, these magicians forget that they’ve got several audience and after having performed several tricks under their sleeves, the audience gets to deduct a few.
It’s obvious this user forgets his own past performance and here is the user yet again, trying to fool the forum. It doesn’t just tell tales of your intent @OP, it also speaks of your person.

I can’t blame them for forgetting themselves, when you tell one lie after another you tend to forget what is the real truth. The goal is to earn merits and when they do get it, they forget about that thread and move on to another. OP is a good example of accounts that cook up stories about their challenges and successes in bitcoin in order to gain attention from forum members. It is foolish to fish for merits at the expense of your reputation.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin then definitely invest. Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin, Bitcoin halving will start in a few days in the future. So Bitcoin price is likely to reach its highest level in the year after this halving. Because every halving is a record breaking Bitcoin bull run in the following year, now is a good time to invest in Bitcoin.

Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin?

It is not a question if I should invest but the question is "if you really want to take risks"?
A lot of people have heard about Bitcoin from their friends and they invest because they saw their friends earning money from it but guess what, not all of them become successful, some of them suffered disappointments.

I would say OP that you have to deeply think about it --it is profitable indeed but the risk is also high. If you think this investment is good for you, then start it without a doubt. It only needs trust and patience, everything will be fine and profitable in the long run.

Are those savings not what you are supposed to use to finance your school expenses if any unforeseen needs arise? If they are meant for your school bills, then I will say it's a bad idea to invest them in bitcoin.
I don't sure many student have supported with good financial for investing in bitcoin, but difference cases for the students who has their parent with good financial and earn much money every day for their pocket money spend few percent left for investing in bitcoin. If less financial seems difficult how to manage well money for paying school bills, spending for buying book and much money have to spent for some thing unpredictable in the school.

Actually not bad ideas investing in bitcoin during have stable financial condition, but for student jus depend their income from their parent its little difficult how to manage saving money for bitcoin and their needed in the school. Many thing have been priority firstly than have to use saving money for investing in bitcoin exactly for student not had side job to make easy for spending their money to buy bitcoin.
I know bitcoin when my position had in college but get difficult financial not easy to purchase for investing in bitcoin and started reinvesting last several years ago.

If truly you have not purchase Bitcoin yet and you have the money to purchase if you get a good advice from people on this trend, I will advice you to go ahead and purchase Bitcoin in the bearish season and you will not regret with the risk, because those that took this risk before in the past make a huge amount of income from their risk. You can do more research to know more about Bitcoin, because there are some things you will apply in some seasons for you to be able to purchase Bitcoin to your satisfaction because if you purchase Bitcoin in the season of bullish it will not help you to make a reasonable income in the future. As a student, invest what you can afford to lose which is a good advice you must embrace before investing that money you are saving to be part of the beneficiary of Bitcoin which you have seen or heard those that benefited from the asset in the past.

After reading all four pages, the thought arises that the answers were divided into two parts. Some perfectly see how insincere the author of the topic is, why the topic was created, and what the OP wants.
But all those others furiously write truisms, repeated from topic to topic, without at all reading the posts of people who say that he doesn’t need any advice. He has a different goal.
How do these posters differ from the OP? Everyone has only one task; I see that some are either deaf or blind. Grin

I first came to know about cryptocurrency in 2019. Back then some of my friends were discussing Bitcoin but I didn't understand much. After that, they were not even researched. Then in 2022, when I passed college and entered university, I heard new friends discussing Bitcoin investment again. They have benefited from this. Then thinking about making profit in bitcoin investment I want to invest in bitcoin. I also want to know how it works. Currently I am a part time teacher in a private college along with my studies, I work very hard to support my university life and my own expenses. I deposit some money at the end of the month. Now having interest to invest in this bitcoin I want to invest here. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin?
If you haven't invested in Bitcoin or stayed away from Bitcoin after getting news of Bitcoin in 2019, this was definitely an opportunity for you but you didn't utilise. One thing we hear is that successful people never think about the past. They try to utilise the present and make the future better. Even if it takes some time for you to get hooked on Bitcoin, you are ahead of those who don't know about Bitcoin yet. A positive aspect here is that you will be more interested in learning about Bitcoin when you are attracted to Bitcoin on your own. An investor is successful when he is able to turn his investment into an asset. Maybe a student or general people who can collect more bitcoins will have more chances to win. In that case if an investor is able to hold his investment from the student life then he will definitely own a large amount of wealth after a long period of time.

The way you write your story sounds like you are not new to bitcoin investing. and you are not new to this forum either. such stories are often given merit and you know them. I can guess that you made up such a story to get fucking merit.

You say that you learned about Bitcoin in 2019 from your friends. How did you wait for 4-5 years after knowing about Bitcoin now in 2024?  And now asking for advice on whether you should invest in Bitcoin or not. Really funny stuff  Cheesy

As long as the savings are not used for other needs, you can invest in Bitcoin as long as you want. The ease and advantages of investing in Bitcoin have changed the point of view of retail investors, they prefer to invest in Bitcoin because of its enormous potential. Today's decision will bring changes to your life in the future, lucky you are familiar with the Bitcointalk forum which always provides the latest information about Bitcoin every day. You can get investment advice here and turn all the twists and turns of doubt into confidence to make a decision immediately, if you can do it now, don't put it off until tomorrow.

He first learned about investing in Bitcoin through word of mouth in 2019 from his friends and the OP mentioned it himself. He wants to be reborn in this forum and his post quality is completely different from past goals. He knows how to tell funny stories and likes to stay behind the scenes making fools of others. Huh
So no doubt if the OP genuinely wants to invest in Bitcoin, you can no doubt invest based on your story and others' advice.

Grin
I think you forgot to add the ignorant part because I feel some read it but choose not to relate the flaws that is painted plainly and choose to go the other way round. I have seen this on lots of post replies and believe it's also infective because at the time you have come across this countless times it feel you are the one whose actually going off from every other person that replied on the post, but I try my best to see to it that I don't get infected by the virus.

According to one of your earlier posts you already invested in bitcoin in the past but then had to sell it so I am not sure why you are talking like you never bought bitcoin before and know nothing about it. An obvious answer is merit fishing but I am curious to hear your answer.  Wink

I just remembered this famous words now "always speak the truth so that you don't need to remember what you said". Truth will always be truth and the same no matter how long but when you lied, you will some time forget the old lies and thereby contradicting yourself in your new lies. This is why you need to have a retentive memory as a liar in order not to be contradicting yourself. Op doesn't have that quality yet and must learn how to be telling a convincing lie without being caught. At this point now, we don't know which one to believe in now and advice him appropriately.

From the revelation so far, your words contradict each other and I doubt if you truly need or deserve to be advised. The only thing I can tell you is to invest wisely with what you can afford to lose.

Grin Grin Grin honestly speaking I can't stop laughing, "always speak the truth so that you don't need to remember what you said". This particular quote got my attention because from thr very first day i set my eyes on this topic I didn't reply to it because I fint really know what to say.
However, there are some that lied to fetch out merits and successfully get them but along the lines they end up being caught like a fish in the net that have no where to run to.
Moreover it's good never to lie just to gain something but there are people who can't do without telling lies.

This is where good financial management must be emphasized because no matter what for a student it will definitely be very difficult because the focus is only on studying and income only relies on parents for the monthly money they have so in this case it is important for OP to know that he must do a really mature calculation to be able to do that.

This can still be done but with a note that OP will definitely be a little hassle in managing finances if indeed he does not know exactly the needs he has to prepare in studying as well as other needs with the investment made but if in the end OP is able to set aside the money he has I think it will be very good because in the end things like this must be based on the belief that we can do it and we must emphasize that every week or every month we can buy bitcoin to be used as an investment regardless of the amount it doesn't matter in my opinion the most important thing is the strong desire first that must be emphasized.

At that time I was in college and knew about Bitcoin since that time I saved my college stipend money and invested it in Bitcoin and gradually saved fractions of good Bitcoins there. When I collected and invested my stipend, Bitcoin was at a much lower value, and I made a lot of profit at this point. I might have made more profit if I had held it longer, but I bought the thing by selling bitcoins for one of my essential tasks
I am sure that OP is not telling lies about him being a student, but he is just not truthful about this post, and since you have been able to hold him by what he posted before @rikaflip it shows that OP is not even well aware of this forum, that every user has a personal profile where there is a history of all the posts they have made. OP seems stuck to me on ideas on how to create a good topic, so he is just leveraging on his position as a student to get pitiful merits.

Investment in bitcoins is not age restricted, and at any level where you can really understand what bitcoins is, and how it can benefit you if you invest and keep it safe, then you are okay to invest even if you are a student or not.
