421  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: A question of answer now on: February 11, 2024, 03:35:30 PM
The question was " As an economist, if you were to become the president of the country how would you treat the current hardship in the country ?"

This question had me thinking for hours cause, first of all, I always thought the solution to our economic problems was in the hands of the CBN Governor and the Minister of Finance, so what does the president want to do?

Didn't even want to check any search engine, cause it was a practical question. So, the question is going out to you all. What solution would you administer to the economic problem in this country as the president?

Well, I'm not an economist, but as a public policy analyst, I can tell you that the solution to the kind of situation that we are facing in the country right now boils down to three major strategies that I'm going to implement if I become the president of Nigeria. However, beyond implementing those strategies, I will ensure that I hold my guard in terms of securing any loopholes in the system. I must ensure that I put an eye on everything that would lead to the success of the strategies. To do that, I will ensure that there is a monitoring team employed across all related spheres of disciplines, both at home and abroad.

The monitoring team will not be like the one recently constituted by the president, which includes the SGF, the chief of staff for the president, and governors. I wouldn't do it that way. Instead, I will find experts from different fields, and I will also pick people at the local government level because now it's about grassroots. We're talking about alleviating poverty in the country, so I'm not looking for those at the top echelons of affairs. Rather, I'm looking for people at the grassroots to constitute part of the committee for this program.

Having done that, I will enroll my three strategies. The first one would be the short-term strategy, the second one would be the medium-term strategy, while the last phase would be the long-term strategy.

To roll out all these strategies, I will ensure that the first thing is to put in place is the data of the vulnerable people or the targeted individuals. So, as president, I will review the register of those classified as vulnerable people or less privileged people and ensure that it captures virtually all those in need of those special program benefits. I will also do that with the help of the local government chairpersons to ensure that the poorest of the poor are included in that particular document or data.

My short-term strategy would consist of immediate measures, such as ensuring security in the land while addressing the insecurity issue. Additionally, I will immediately implement strategies to ensure food security in the country. While doing that, I will roll out cash transfers and food assistance programs, ensuring that all processes are accountable, and comprehensive reports are provided by the team responsible. Updates will be provided in real-time.

Secondly, I will ensure that I strengthen the healthcare system to reach all those living in rural areas. This will be done by revisiting the methods and methodologies used to achieve a highly committed and result-oriented healthcare contributory system within society. As we alleviate poverty, we also need to ensure that people are living in conditions that allow them to enjoy the benefits we provide.

Thirdly, I will ensure the implementation of an effective peacebuilding plan within the country through a program I will name "Wazobia." This program will consist of Crusaders who prioritize national interest above personal, religious, or ethnic interests. We will promote what it means to be Nigerian above all else.

Fourthly, I will enhance social safety nets to support vulnerable people, including the elderly, unemployed individuals, people with disabilities (PWD), and those living in extreme poverty.

My midterm strategies will focus on infrastructural development, including roads, rails, housing, energy, water supply, and alternative energy sources. I will promote diversification in our economy by enhancing other sectors such as agriculture, mining, technology, manufacturing, education, and skills development. Fiscal policy reforms will include efforts against indiscipline and corruption, as well as improvements in budgeting and revenue generation.

Lastly, my long-term strategies will include:
1. Investment in research and innovations through technological advancements such as Robotics, AI and Machine Learning.
2. Promotion of good governance and the rule of law to ensure trust between citizens and the government.
3. Implementation of policies to improve ease of doing business.
4. Strengthening the judicial institution to ensure a corruption-free environment across all tiers of government including the federal, state and local governments.
5. Get the people familiar with e-governance and more importantly digital economy which will include the adoption of digital currencies such as Bitcoin, stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies.
422  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Matters Arising. on: February 10, 2024, 11:45:17 PM
From everything I said above, you will understand I didn't dispute the fact that the news was true or force but I practically doubt the news because of the number of people that they claim died as a result of the match and the calibers of people that died exactly. it's a personal believe, it's just me not really believe it all but I know that it's true to some extent but not all. believe we live in a crinkum-crankum country nothing is impossible.

I also saw the match and I also got tension too so it's normal to hear such news and it has some truth in it but sir believe it's not all that are true.

I am not here to falsify or support the story with anything, but to say that if you were a good fan of Nigeria or even South Africa, that day, you must have been overwhelmed by the anxiety that came on that very day especially at that moment when we thought Nigeria was winning with two goals ahead but was canceled for another penalty against the team. That was monumental.

Someone like me that is not that strong in heart cannot even go into any kind of betting on that kind of match being a patriotic citizen of the country and with the way the game played out that very day, I may end up fainting when Nigeria was not able to win at the first 90 minutes.

Everyone have the level to which we can absorb sad information on anxiety that follow this kind of tensions in football and that is why for those that do not have that strong heart, they are not advice to go into any sort of betting whether with jokes or with seriousness so that they will not have their heart fainted at the time the result of the game is not going the way they have envisage. that is a good note for everyone who would take heed from the story that was giving above.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2024, 11:30:47 PM
But Leverkusen performance was quite impressive because they were able to shoot 14 shots and 8 were on target. For this reason, Bayern Munich performance in this match was really bad because previously they were very aggressive in front of the opponent's goal in scoring goals, but when they faced Leverkusen they were unable to do so.

Despite that Bayer Leverkusen is one team that is in form right now, and at their own prime as far as strong performance is concerned, it didn't look like they were going to trash Bayern Munich today but with what I saw I can say that Bayern Munich wasn't prepared at all to win that game. The defense was not as apt as a expected, their midfield was not as good, and their forward was not as threatening or frightening as expected, so it gave Bayer Leverkusen more edge to penetrate at every opportunity they got.

This victory have given Bayer Leverkusen another opportunity to become stronger at the top of the table with five points up. 3 points today and the one they already have  existing. Jeremie Frimpong got the opportunity to fire into the net at the stoppage time making in 3 - 0 triumph for the club.

Many fans Club have criticized Thomas Tuchel over the defeat describing him as an 'inept tactician in charge' and mention how they love the club but are disappointed by the Decisions of Thomas Tuchel, they even went on to call him a joker coach/manager requesting for answers as to why he replaced Julian.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: February 10, 2024, 11:13:30 PM
You can't depend on your personal knowledge when talking about gambling. Gambling is a full time luck game, and if lock is not on your side, you could even loss a single game  bet, but the making more selection reduces your chance of winning. This is where the aguement of the rich and poor gambler come to play, those who are termed to be rich make few selection while they increase their stake. But those who are termed to be poor would possibly make small stakes with enough selection.

Nevertheless I can still agree to the fact that knowledge is very important in gambling since that will help you to make the right decision most times. and it can become an Instinct for you to choose the right team that is winning the game against other. it is also through gambling the people are making money.

No longer a news that the gambling game is all about predictions and luck however due to familiarity with how some events play out maybe came more instrumental into making decisions that will be at the favor of the government and the economy of the State
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 10, 2024, 11:05:21 PM
Girona shouldn't have expected any less because they should know that meeting Madrid in their home already is an disadvantage because even if Madrid may have wanted to loose but because they are at home, they would do anything to keep their ego and in worse Case a draw, I at this point pity for Gieona because If they are been humiliated like this when they are yet to loose some of their Kelly players then what will be their fate when these players are been sold probably at the end of the season. Madrid tonight did showed that they are going to be the champions of the la Liga this season and that's not even negotiable.

Whatever Happened on the pitch today I would still say a kudos to Girona even though it wasn't a successful one for them. First, in football we need to establish the fact that is not every time that you become successful in winning matches as well there are matches that will come good for you and there are some that would not come good for you but what is more important is to keep your head up and be very courageous and optimistic about you guys winning at every match that you played.

For me, saying that Girona was humiliated when they still had their Kelly players is not a yardstick to me. However that does not stop me from advising Michel to watch his guards and protect the squad depth that they have while he builds them more and even get extra help

Girona are hardworking, if it's finishing in the top four at the end of the season then they can achieve another more come next season. Only worried they're letting too many good players leaving the club.
It's Barcelona most likely to go top I mean second place and do the honors. Xavi Hernandez lost too much so they can't do nothing but also let him go.
Regardless of Whatever happened is with Girona, yesterday they played with one of the best clubs that are performed excellently well in this season of champions League is Real Madrid. Not Girona alone, even Barcelona and sometimes plays with Real Madrid and feel to deliver and at the end of the day really Madrid would win against them the same thing happens to Real Madrid in a vice-versa so ultimately I would know say kudos to the Girona club.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2024, 01:20:01 AM
Important victory for Dortmund. So theey could defend place 4. Freiburg, on the other hand, can now fall back to place 9. They have not won their last 3 games. This makes it more difficulty for them to reach the international places.

Dortmund tried today by having that three goals over their opponent but  what I was expecting from them was more than that, being at the position of four and 40 points in the table standing is not good enough for the club. I was expecting them to push harder so that they can quickly make up with the points that they're losing now almost 10 points in between of the two clubs which should allow them to be able to summon more courage to score more goals especially in their next fixturing with WolfsBurg. Wolfsburg is at the 11th position of the table with around 23 points.

Quote
Tomorrow then the game between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. If Bayern Munich will win this game, it will be difficult to chase them down from 1st place again.
Leverkusen will try their best not to allow Bayern Munich to win because they want to maintain the top of the lead in the table. Bayern Munich on the other hand would also try as much as possible to prove Leverkusen wrong in terms of sagacity and experience as a club. That will not be the only reason, more reasons to why Bayern Munich would want to win that match is to also show they have more capacity than Leverkusen do in terms of market value and squad depth.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 09, 2024, 10:13:42 PM
Every match tomorrow is arranged in such a way that the win of every strong team is guaranteed tomorrow. Both Man City and Liverpool will win tomorrow, so even if their 3 points are added to the points table, Man City will be 2 points behind Liverpool. so the possibility of any change in the points table from tomorrow's matches is very less from the top position. Man City will play Everton and Liverpool will play Burnley who are at 18-19 position in the points table. so this match is a chance for them to get 3 easily points

I agree with your analysis in 100 percent. The possibility of Manchester City winning over Everton is in the high side because when you analyze their last five fixturings, you will find out that 4 out of those matches were won by Manchester City and only one ended up draw. Another thing to watch is the goals scored by Manchester City. There's a consistency in Manchester city maintening 3 goals for three times. There's a high chance that their upcoming fixturings will end up with 3 goals. Whichever you want, it is almost assured that Manchester City will gain extra 3 points tomorrow making it 52 points in the table standing.

Likewise, Liverpool and Burnley, It is Liverpool ambition to win Burnley for reasons that, Burnley performance this season have kept them in the 19th position of the table standing making them one of the least performing clubs remaining in the league. Another factor is that in the last 5 matches those teams fixtured each other, Liverpool won in 4 of those matches whereas Burnley scored one 1 of those matches with just a goal difference.

Lastly, if Liverpool is still interested in maintaining the first position in the table, they must try to win all the matches ahead especially with small clubs like Burnley

Banks are essential whereever you life - can you find any alternative to them - yet? that is easy to use and everyone accepts is and has access to it? Nope, I dont and I am sure you dont as well.

While I do appreciate the enthusiasm to find an alternative and pitch crypto as the savior, you need to improve its acceptance in the locality first. Maybe then the government will take notice and do something different?

OP also needs to improve on their way of presentation of facts and conclusions.

I have said it here before and I will mention it again that it is kind of a duty upon us to start campaigns on sensitization around the adoption of Bitcoin in our own local communities and we can do this through town hall meetings and calling on friends alike to advocate the adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies within our communities as an alternative to the current monetary policy realities that is be deviling us today. The international market is having its worst on some of the developing countries around the globe today and the reason is because of the globalisation and superiority agenda of the dollar.

Price of commodities and other international trades have skyrocketed and no country has the power to standardized these issues rather than the world power countries and since the situation is favoring them, they will not be willing to make any change that is why it is quite tall being able to live in a world with centralized currency, where a group of people or league of Nations can decide for the world how their local currencies will be valued.

These things are not as easy said but if you can go out there campaigning or calling people together to adapt to this new technology you can as well create a platform on social media consisting of your friends and family and then introduce the benefits of Bitcoin them. As the time goes, it seems like bitcoin would be another savior to people over the centralized currencies hence the reason why some governments have tried to work against the growth and adoption of the crypto currencies.
430  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Do not overwork yourself on: February 09, 2024, 05:36:02 AM
Utilize your body for retirement so that you can fit in to handle your other phases in life of chasing income at your depreciations of man-power to activeness.
So many people are too eager uncontrollably chasing after income without undermining their ages and so as considering the health fitness of themselves at ages.

My philosophy right now is that if I work once, I will rest twice meaning less work, more rest. I believe in the power of stress and what it can negatively impart on human life especially as a young person who is working and not having enough time to rest or eat properly.

Because one thing that lack of resr causes to you is that it will give you a bad eating habit because you'll be missing your normal eating pattern the way you should be, thereby, resulting to health problems and that's why these days you'll find cases around heart attack, depression, high blood pressure and others amongst.

Even though one do not use to get rest the way you want it, that should not be a yardstick to why you should restrain yourself from getting enough rest when you have the slightest opportunity to rest. I rest by sleeping, playing with kids and watching of films.
431  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Nigerian System of Education on: February 09, 2024, 02:03:28 AM
Our system of Education is something else, starting from the primary system to the tertiary system. That of the the tertiary system their varieties of challenges it undergoes, for instance

* Over Population
* Outdated Curricula
* Lack of qualified faculty and equipment for studies
* Lectures Accepting Bribe (Sorting)

I agree with all that you mentioned above and that is why Nigeria is one of the countries that are still left behind as far as education is concerned. Education is one of the bedrock of development in every Society a society where there is no proper and adequate education results to iliteracy and idleness and it is said that an idle man is a devils workshop.

Nigeria is one of the developing countries with rapid growing populations in the world yet we badly lack the very basic social amenities you can think of. Anytime you find a situation whereby a country's producing more number of people and those people cannot be converted to human capital, I think that is simply what it means to have overpopulation and that is exactly the same problem that Nigeria facing today.

You have cases of many undergraduates outside that have no job to do, you also have cases of children that are out of school but the government cannot even properly profile them because they are the scattered and the numbers are increasing by the day. We have parents that do not take care of their children and what they know how to do is to cause more problems to the society because they don't know the actual data of the citizen.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Concern Regarding the Future of Bitcoin and Crypto Industries ! on: February 08, 2024, 06:56:43 PM
The centralized authority trying to harm Bitcoin as much as they can is a fact and is an old one. There is no surprise there. But the situation with the Scammer Craig is exaggerated in my opinion. That's because at the end of the day the Bitcoin Protocol is completely open source and is completely under MIT license, so it is near impossible for anyone to make any claims on the code itself and demand any changes.

Not to mention that these things are "too centralized", meaning the court you are talking about is a local court not an international court capable of enforcing anything on a global scale! That's while Bitcoin is global.

I also believe that no one on the surface of Earth at this point in time can wipe away Bitcoin. Bitcoin have come to stay and so shall it. Government cannot single-handedly take out bitcoin from its existence, the fact that bitcoin is an open source technology which is owned by everyone across the globe makes it even more difficult for bitcoin to be destroyed completely.

The only thing such governments can do is to ban its citizens from using bitcoin which a lot of countries have attempted and still doing today. However, they cannot stop people from using bitcoin per se and the world will continue to embrace this new technology because the more they try to fight it, the more popular it becomes amongst people.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 07, 2024, 11:59:20 PM
You are wrong with the price being quite cheap, even though Real Madrid can get Mbappe without a transfer fee because Mbappe is a free transfer. it will be even more expensive because there will be a recruitment fee of 150 Million Euros, it is quite expensive but worth it for a star player like Mbappe. and actually Mbappe could take advantage of this situation to get more money, but he's not like that. The salary at PSD alone per year is around 72 million Euros and when he was at Madrid he was going to get a salary of 35 million Euros, he cut 50% of his salary.

Yes, in any case it must be seen that Real Madrid would pay the player less than he receives today.
I didn't know the exact values, just that he would receive less than what he currently earns at PSG, but even so, Mbappé will still be the highest paid player in Europe... so it shouldn't be a bad salary Tongue

Ah, I heard comments that Real Madrid are not satisfied with signing just Mbappé, but that they would also be keeping an eye on Alphonso Davies and Erling Haaland, for next summer... is that really so, or is this a very hasty rumor?

Of course I don't also think that Real Madrid is only concentrated on mbappé but other players like Haaland that can perform similarly like mbappe will do but I think they would also place preferences to having Mbappe because of the characteristics that he has as a player that will fit in a way the position of Cristiano Ronaldo. He can run, to make counter attacks, he has dribbling skills to clear dangerous tackles and he has powerful shot to make goals.
434  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Try all your best to gain knowledge on: February 07, 2024, 11:56:18 PM
My country people good afternoon inside this afternoon, see eh,  anything wey we dy do, make we try all our best to gain knowledge, because even bible talk say knowledge is profitable to direct, see eh, most people for we country wey dy misinformed or wey  lack  knowledge believe say once you dy press phone or laptop too much, mean say you be scammer or yahoo boy, make we look around us for we country, almost all the people doing well get one or two knowledge about  something wey dy pay dem well, ok make we talk about dis crypto industry now, those people wey lack knowledge about the industry, na dem dy mostly go lose money for trading and scammers hand pass because them no know whats up, some of dem dy even invest serious money in shit coin because them lack knowledge, wen de coin fall and refuse to rise again dem go generalize am say crypto generally na scam, or you wan talk of those people wey dy give people money to trade for dem? All this tins dy boils down to lack of knowledge.
I don even see one young fine guy wey one white man wan give one good job like that, because him no sabi read, the man no just know how him fit help am again, because na guy wey him just like, and the job demands documentation, so why I dy tlk all this tins is that make we seek knowledge with everything we get abeg, because e get why.

Try as much as possible to acquire useful and relevant knowledge and not to lose the knowledge you already have what this implies is that it is not all knowledge that you seek, for if a knowledge is not going to be beneficial to you and to your society, it is better not to aquire the knowledge in the first place.

In the space out there, are so many things to learn. you can learn the good one and you can learn the bad one but it's best for you to be able to filter what is good and bad and taking the good part of the knowledge however difficult it is to achieve result. It will always be the best thing for you to do because good knowledge would last long and it will manifest positively in your life.To young folks, it is important for you to understand what it takes to acquire a beneficial knowledge because that would always put you at the positive side of life.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 07, 2024, 11:39:17 PM
From the list of matches, the Nigeria team has played in this AFCON tournament, the most captivating, emotional, and intense match so far is the South Africa, Nigeria match that ended in a penalty shot out.
The match got many Nigeria tensed up and the winning brought joy to the faces of Nigerians.
I gave it up for Bafana Bafana for giving a fantastic match displayed against Super Eagle. They had a beautiful and dominating football in the first half, and they took over the midfield position of the field. The match was just like the finals of AFCON cos both teams longed for a win in their semi finals match with one another.

I am yet one of the most excited person on the surface of the Earth today with the results that Super Eagle brought to Nigerians. This was one of the most interesting and daring games that Nigeria have played in this tournament. When the match was kick started, every Nigerian thought it was going to be a little bit easier for Nigeria to beat South Africa because of the way that they have done that in the past however there was another thought that it wouldn't be easy because this is semifinals we're talking about and South Africa have the likes of Mokwena and other guys that were also doing greatly in the tournament.

When the game began, the Super Eagles showed some superiority and everybody was so courageous that Nigeria was going to win the match in a straight win but at a point in time, the game changed and it was more like a twist of faith for Nigerians. the Bafana Bafana guys became on top of their game and they frustrated the Super Eagles until Victor Osimhen created a penalty opportunity for Nigerians which was scored by Williams Troost Ekong. That was a moment of Joy for everyone not until when Victor osimhen was meant to score another goal that was canceled and instead became a penalty against the Super Eagles which was caused by Yusuf Al-hassan.

I personally became more worried for the Super Eagles because the morale became low and they were not performing as they were in the first half however they were able to maintain the tempo up until when it took them to the penalty shoot out and the Super Eagles did fantastic job. I will take kudos to every player that played the penalty shootout but I specially Nwabali, the Nigerian Goalkeeper and Iheanacho.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 06, 2024, 10:21:18 PM
I think Mbappe will end up at Real Madrid, there are only a few teams that can afford the package it’d cost to get him. He will be a free transfer but there will be a significant signing on fee and the wages will be astronomical.

I think he will sign for Real, the prestige there is to play for that club will mean he picks them, in my opinion.
Mbappe is not the player who needs money. He is currently earning a very good salary at PSG. What he's looking for now is definitely success. He wants to take this success internationally, too. He wants awards like the UCL cup and Ballon D'or. There are a few teams in Europe right now that can do this. If they go to Real Madrid, they can easily win the best trophies with the offensive line that will be formed there. Mbappé will now choose a team. I'm sure he will choose Real Madrid.

Well, I do not personally believe that there is someone in life (not the highest paid player in the world) who will have made enough money that he don't need more and so do I believe in regards to Mbappé. Because he's earning a lot already from PSG doesn't mean that he wouldn't prefer to go to a team that will give him even more money, especially anything that is going to give his tax cuts e.t.c, would be a good place to go to.

But, I understand the perspective you're coming from which is to say that he is more concerned about his future in his football career right now, rather than any other thing. For instance, he would like to get more Ballon d'Or and trophies in his name than he already have. He may also want to achieve more success than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have achieved in football, today.

Realistically, being in clubs like Real Madrid will give him more opportunity to be more popular and closer to those trophies.

It is one thing to be a great player but another thing to work with a great team of players that can support you to achieve your dream. So, coming into an already coordinated team like Real Madrid with manager like Ancelotti makes his dreams come true for him and I see no reason why he wouldn't accept Real Madrid if he had opportunity for one second.

Girona would have been a more serious team for the championship if it had not been stuck in some matches, but we have to say that Girona also lost points in the weeks when Real Madrid lost points. Girona has created a good atmosphere and they still have a chance for the championship, but realistically, I can say that Real Madrid is the only candidate to become champion. We'll see if the dream comes true for Girona.

Girona's match against Real Madrid in the weekend would be one of the most interesting challenge in this season. What makes it more interesting is that both team finished up their last matches in a draw. Girona played against Real Sociedad and it was a draw match likewise did Real Madrid played against Atletico Madrid and it was another draw.

Those two last matches made the Girona to remain at the top of the table with just two points ahead of Real Madrid. Now that both clubs would be playing whoever wins the match, will lead the table henceforth.

I know Girona will be on top gears in preparations now to face Real Madrid because it will be their worst nightmare for them to allow Real Madrid to win them in that match.

All thanks to the recovery of Girona's star player Artem Dovbyk who missed the match between La Real due to knee discomfort though is participation against Real Madrid is not yet certain.

It is a good thing that Osimhen is fit again to feature for the super eagles in tomorrow's game. He is indeed a force in the eagles camp. Hopefully he will be at his best again in tomorrow's game. I was really scared when he was stretched out of the last game. It is going to be an entertaining game tomorrow for the football lovers. Wishing super eagles strength and courage to conquer the Bafana Bafana.

Oh yes, tomorrow's game is going to be absolutely entertaining but I feel like having Osihmhen is another added opportunity for Nigeria to win that match. For me it is a straight win for Nigeria unless of course if Nigeria did not take advantage of the opportunity at the hands.

Although you can agree with me that it is not as easy as mentioned but having the likes of Osihmhen and lookman at the forward is a no brainer for any other team coming to challenge Nigeria especially in this very strategic moment of the semi finals

This year's tournament is full of surprises especially as the nations we expected to qualify to this stage like Egypt, Senegal and Ghana were taken out of the tournament before now. This is reason why I feel like whoever Nigeria is facing henceforth, they will be able to win over the matches and become the champions of the 2024 AFCON cup.

Honestly, you did Justice to this topic that you translated. What annoys me most about all this kind of discussion is that it is human beings like us that are in the government and before they got to those positions, they probably think the way we think now.
The question is what usually changes in them that makes them behave the way they do when they have that power that they now have.

Is it a systemic issue and if it is a systemic issue then what is the cause and how can we profile solutions to this cuz I believe leaders are like our brothers but when they get there they become Rogue Lions, why can't we make a change how will the change come about.

When we talk about all these things I am always curious to ask many questions because it's a huge issue that is trickles down to one thing which is CORRUPTION. I know human nature can make us corrupt because of personal interests but when you hold the public office you so cherished before you got there, what suddenly changes in you that you become a worst version of those bad characters and habits that you so much detest before you got there?

I know bitcoin would be the first option but many Nigerians don't know about bitcoin and even if they change to dollars its still suffering inflation too, wat do you think would be the fastest means that a common Nigerian man can store his monetary value.

If Nigerians can be more aware of the Bitcoin technology, that in itself will go a long way in alleviating poverty in Nigeria. How I wish the advocacy that we are making about the adoption of Bitcoin would go through to the highest level of government, so that governments can take accurate decisions that will promote the adoption of Bitcoin amongst average citizens.

For a country like Nigeria with an over bloated population, having alternatives such-like enriching of people with the knowledge of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, it will go a long way to solve some of our problems because some of our traders can even start to convert their money into either usdt or other stable coins and that alone can help them in at least keeping the value of their savings intact.

Actually Nigerians are going to survive no matter what, let me enlighten you a little bit. did you know that even if you're not part of Bitcoin you would have survive the inflation? yes because we are build that we. Nigerians can survive anywhere in life so this inflation is just one of the things that Nigerians will survive. there is a popular quote that says "No matter the price of rice we go still chop" you what that means? no matter the situation we will still survive and the situation in the context is inflation.

Well as a fellow Nigerian I can't agree less with you. I can say that we Nigerians have a thick skin to withstand whichever situation that we find ourselves as a nation at that particular time but the truth of the matter is, that shouldn't be a yardstick to the reason why we would continue to suffer as a nation especially when we see our leaders enjoying and flamboyantly living in a life, while we are suffering to put a meal on our table. Things have to change. Because we can easily adapt to situations or realities on ground doesn't give them the opportunity to infest more wahala on us.

According to Hooke's law in physics, the strain of a material is proportional to the applied stress within the elastic limit of that material. Meaning when an elastic material is being stressed, the molecules and atoms in that material deforms until when the stress is applied fully and when the stress is removed the elastic material comes back to its initial form. But at the same time, when the elastic material continues to get more force and energy being applied to it, it gets to a limit that it cannot withstand it any longer then the stress breaks the material.

As of yesterday, in Niger state, Nigeria, people went on to the street to protest on the issue of food hike and other commodities which is one aspect that signals to you that everything have a limit and it's only a matter of time but when people are over stretched to their limits, it will result to a backlash that we may not be able to bear and all this things happen over time, they don't just happen once.

Although Bitcoin would have been good to rescue us but not everyone will be part of it. So right now there can't be a specific or fastest as you said solution to this because of so many reasons and the reason are rooted deep down so it's hard to uproot them but we will surely do that.

What is impossible does not exist and that is the kind of philosophy that I have. But on a brighter side, every issue has a solution to it. Being it a fast solution or a delayed solution. Life is a marathon not a sprint race. And the beginning of every problem is taking a little step towards solving it so we all can be instrumental to the adoption of Bitcoin in our various Communities and we can start up campaigns that advocate the benefits of Bitcoin so that people understand what it is.
