Litecoin Nov 2013 53$
Litecoin June 2017 40$ The peak in Nov 2013 was temporary, but after that Litecoin has been getting gradually stronger. Don't compare it to Mooncoin. Mooncoin is getting weaker every day. Every day I check it on coinmarketcap.com and it's gone down 10 posts or so. It used to be around #80 but now it's at #136. That's pathetic. Mooncoin is currently one of the only altcoins that are not profitable. I invested in Dubaicoin and Mooncoin at the same time, guess which one made profit? Dubaicoin's value increased 10-fold and it's now worth $22. Mooncoin marketcap July 2016: ~ $400,000 Mooncoin marketcap July 2017: ~ $13,000,000+ So, what is that, about a 30-fold increase? (change the lens and I can make it look anyway I want) Good morning from Greece. Mooncoin's price chart reminds charts of other famous coins in their first stages. So, we are waiting an uptrend soon. It's possible with the news about the future (new wallet, Segwit, new algo etc)... |

How was nico's crescent moon design voted in?
There is currently NO stake weight voting system in place, as he states would be the correct way of voting a new logo in... so how was it decided his logo would replace the original gold moon logo?

Very simple. People posted that they didn't like an original yellow logo (I personally liked the logo just as agswinner), then nico suggested the new logo 'blue moon' and people supported it in their posts. No one minded actively. In my opinion, it's more important not to separate the community and accept the things only with which all or almost all agree with. Maybe we should avoid too much bureacracy, leave it for centralized systems. Of course, you are right, new members are very active and we should respect their decision to join Mooncoin when it's not so cheap like before, on the other hand old members waited for years and never gave up, so I respect them too. In my opinion, rather yes, 1 vote per 1 person, no matter how many MOON he owns (on the other hand, if it's an extremely low amount, a person really might not care too much about whether his decision affects MOON or not, it depends on the general responsibility of a person though, however an user with a lot of MOON anyway will be more careful in his decisions),
also an important question is how can we be sure that there are no fake accounts?
At least here I know old members, I know their accounts are not fake and they almost ALL (who posted) didn't support a new logo proposal for MOON.
It was a good initiative to organize the contest, and now we have a winning logo proposal, but may be it should be improved?
People will agree with a variant which is really great, if they don't support it now, something is wrong.
Of course, democracy is great, but in my opinion there should be also some respect from newcomers to people who had been supporting MOON for years,
and at least newcomers should take into account their opinion, these people saw things and never will recommend or support something bad for Mooncoin.

Good afternoon again. I see the disagreement for the Mooncoin logo. With all estimate for the people which try to do Mooncoin one of the best cryptocurencies out there, I sugest α compromise solution: It looks like a good idea the use of new logo for the Moonlite project. And something else for all : Just check the big flactuations and the disturbances at Bitcoin market when there was the conflict between 2 teams of developers (it haven't finished yet). Mooncoin needs the unity of all of us !

There are 2 main groups of developers which disagreed about the Bitcoin Blockchain in the future. In both cases we had a drop in price. So, some people bought more coins at lower price levels...And some others made the mistake of selling at these prices. So, I bougnt today 265000 Mooncoins at 3 satoshi. Haha, nice comparing) Where did you bought coins? And what wallet i can use or holding $moon? I used the Bleutrade exchange. The most of my coins are in my windows Mooncoin wallet. The logo has nothing to do with the moon, remove the inscription "MOONCOIN" and nobody will guess about the moon. Absolutely inexpressive. From the category "order 100 business cards and get a logo as a gift". I agree. The new logo proposal is not bad in general, but every coin which name starts with 'M' could use this logo. The logo should be simple, but not only simple, it should be linked to the Moon theme. The Blue Moon logo matches the idea. Edit: maybe to use the new logo for Moonlite (ML)? It's not a bad idea to use the new logo for Moonlite... So,I think that all will be satisfied with this choice. |

It's interesting to see this coin growing up highly today with a huge volume on this bluetrade exchange ? Which exchanges will be intended to list this coin ? I expect it will be livecoin or bittrex exchange because we can attract many big investors to join I believe that the best choices for Mooncoin are the following exchanges: Poloniex, Bittrex, BTC38, Livecoin and Yobit. If Mooncoin enters in these sites, the future will be brilliant ! |

Good afternoon from Greece. I have said in the past that Mooncoin was a great opportunity in 1 satoshi or less. I continue to believe that the possibilities are for much bigger prices...We will see them ! It won't go much more because, instead of heaving a nice distribution, TOP 10 wallets have half of the coins that the others 34.000 users are having , and the top 100 holder have almost the same quantity as the other 34.000 wallets. You do the math. The future will show us who was right. |
